Name: Hana Sanctus Leonhardt
Titles: The Infallible Youth; Piercing Mind
True Age: 4,350
Appearance Age: 18
Gender: Female
Affiliation: Sugiura Royalty
Origin: Understanding
IQ: 175
Height: 4'9" (149 cm)
Weight: 48kg (106 lb)General Information
Personality: When you first meet Hana, it is more than likely that you will only be seeing half of her face, staring out at you from behind someone that is larger than she. A shy girl by nature, she tends to treat all unknown individuals the same way--with worry and care. She is unsure of the motives of those that she meets until she knows them a bit better: if you want to get to know Hana more, then you should definitely persist in trying to be friends with her. If you do this, then it is likely that you'll succeed. When she finally opens up to you, you will discover that Hana is a denizen of creativity. With a poem almost always on her lips and a tune in her mind, she sees the world as being full of infinite possibilities--a canvas that anybody could use if they just applied their minds to the job. She loves people and color and colorful people--her favorite color is pink. If she can get comfortable with someone, she'll be their best friend - it's just getting comfortable that she has difficulty with. As she is innately suspicious of people and their motives, one needs to get her trust in their motives fixed before they attempt anything else.
Above all else, however, Hana holds her family in high regard. The only people that she can call truly close to her, she confides more than she would ever confide in her family members. Although she is more inclined to find relationships outside of the family circle, if one of her siblings began playing around, she would likely allow it to happen. That is the level of devotion she has to those people. She will defend them and their innocence no matter what, and make sure that if someone has to take the blame, that she does. She believes that she owes everything to her siblings, and will never be swayed from that fact. However, if she was to find someone to call hers--if she could let them into her inner shell enough--then she would no longer decide that she owes her family a debt. She would attempt to make herself her own person, and live a life that only she could live as her own 'self'. As yet undecided on her own sexuality--but not a virgin due to extenuating circumstances--Hana quite often puts into thought exactly what she wants from life and from her relations with other people. She can often be seen as deep in thought, because of this situation.
Finally, though, we see her childish side. When on her own or with people she trusts completely, we can see a naivety about the world that is rarely seen these days. Although she knows what is outside of the Kingdom, she has yet to venture out and experience it for herself. This can allow for some interesting assumptions to be made, and can be quite shocking for Hana when she discovers that the world really isn't how she originally imagined it to be. She has a complex about her ability to read the minds of others, often letting slip what she has discovered--quite oft at bad times--and then quickly apologizing. She knows that she can't turn it off, and tries to be as discreet as possible... but accidents do happen.

Natural Abilities
Psychological Advantages: Due to her psychic understanding of the mentality of most beings, Hana tends to be able to quickly gather up certain personality traits from the body language of most people that she meets--sometimes going as far as easily predicting someone's reaction to a certain thing, or their next move in battle. The more time she has spent with a person, the easier this becomes--if she knows them as family, she can read them as easily as she reads a sheet of paper; all laid out in front of her. Usually, it comes up like this:
- Just Met - First Thread
- Met Before - Third Thread
- Getting Friendly - Fifth Thread
- Friends - Seventh Thread
- Close Friends - Ninth Thread
Anything else depends on how the relationship progresses--the above list is basely for general meetings.
Weakness to Physical Feeling: Because her mind is so focussed on the power of her brain, Hana has an extremely powerful nervous system--the messages throughout are received within 5% of the time the average human being receives their messages. Unfortunately, this also means that most pain signals are instantaneous on their own, giving her an extremely sensitive touch sense. Any physical feelings are felt within milliseconds of their occurrence, and her body is sensitive to most feelings of physical pleasure and pain--it's possible to completely debilitate Hana with sexual stimulus in battle--as well as any other physical stimulation.
Increased Reaction Speed: In addition to the power of her brain receiving messages at 5% of the speed of an average human, it's also possible for her body to receive messages from her brain at the same rate. This means that each stimulus from her brain is received at a high rate of speed, allowing her to react quickly to any situation.Hrunting and N詒ling
A rarity amongst the Leonhardt siblings--Hana has received two Holy Swords to do battle with, as opposed to the one that most of siblings have. Both of these swords belong to the legend of Beowulf; swords that were supposedly lost to the wilds of the world and mystery itself. Each of these swords has their own unique abilities, and each of them complements the other perfectly, despite the difference in time and creation.
Hrunting: Hrunting, otherwise known as the Hound of the Red Plains, is a strangely-shaped sword, and Hana's ranged projectile. A sword that is rumored to never be able to fail in battle, it has manifested itself as a weapon with strangely-shaped blades surrounding it. It can still be used in battle--it is a powerful piercing and stabbing weapon, much like a lance--but its true strength lies in its ranged power.
To fire the Hrunting as an arrow, Hana summons a bow in her right hand, before placing Hrunting on the string and preparing it to be fired off. Best used at very long range, Hana usually finds herself a high vantage point at a long distance from her target, so as not to be caught in the weapon's back-blast. Because of this, it's also advisable for anybody without, at a minimum, Advanced skill in Durability to stand behind her either. The amount of energy this weapon draws in and expels when it's fired is staggering to those near Hana when its fired.
Once fired, it turns into a magical bullet enveloped in a red light that reaches speeds of Mach 10 on the most direct path to its target, and it will continue to pursue the target, even if parried, repulsed, or avoided, as long as the shooter keeps aiming at the target. While it is normally impossible to change targets after firing, she is able adjust for such possibilities and have a single path be capable of striking two enemies. It is an unavoidable attack, only able to be defended against by powerful anti-projectile or general defensive abilities. It is fast enough to reach its target four kilometers away in less than a second, and it has enough force to stir the air and cause most structures to rattle. It has the capability of piercing about three-quarters of the way into the Seireitei Seki-Seki wall upon its fifth shot, as long as Hana's had full preparation time.
What makes the Hrunting bullet all-the-more deadly is its continued power to draw in energy from the area around it as it flies. As it continues onwards, the combination of spiritual energies in the air and frictional energy as it moves are charging up the power of the bullet for collision. Every kilometre that the bullet travels doubles its power upon hitting anything, and Hana usually stands approximately 4 kilometres away for firing. For that reason, dodging it makes the hit worse. She can shoot it up to five times in a row, and she adds more energy to charge the shot each time. Each shot has a charging interval of one round and if she's distracted by something then the next shot is useless, and her ability to use this sword as a projectile instantly moves into cooldown, though she is quite capable of using it as a normal weapon anyway. These grace periods are the main weakness in the tactic, but the distance from the target requires a large-scale, long-distance attack, or someone capable of moving quickly over that distance. Depending on the number of times that Hrunting was fired, the cooldown could be anything from 1 round (1 shot) to 6 rounds (5 shots)
N詒ling: Compared to Hrunting, N詒ling--the Threads of Three Kings--is far less flashy, and far more usable as a true sword. The name may well mean "nailer", that is it drives like a nail in to its enemy. Carried upon Hana's hip into a fight, one wouldn't expect a diminutive girl such as herself to pull forth a sword with such a hefty-looking blade into battle. Considering the length and weight of the weapon--almost reaching four feet and weighing approximately 50kg for anyone who isn't Hana--it seems quite intimidating beside her small frame. Even still, it's a one-handed broadsword and quite slim in blade. The weapon has minute strands of fairy writing within the groove on its blade, writing out a spell that admonishes evil and cruel acts, explaining the need for love and thought in this world.
The weapon will never lose its luster unless in the presence of evil itself--it is one of the ultimate evil-sensing weapons, and can never be broken by an enemy. The only person capable of breaking N詒ling is Hana herself, and even that is caused by her overexerting herself completely. When combined with her own psychokinesis, Hana is able to use it as if it were a bladed fifth limb, working it like it were a tail.
The weapon contains a glow that is similar to the breath of a dragon, drawn from the core of Hana's power. With each swing of the weapon, a line of light is drawn in the air, and remains there for up to five rounds. She can carry an infinite amount of these lines in the air around the battlefield, but they are of little consequence until she chooses to use them, or dissipates them. The lines can have several uses--be they defensive or offensive, or even as binding artifices. Because of this, she has three methods in which she can use the lines.Chaining Cruelty: The first and easiest application of Hana's energy lines is to restrain her opponents. Releasing the lines with a swing of her blade, they'll flash forwards and stream out into what appear to be chains that glow in the same shade of gold as N詒ling. These chains go towards the first target that Hana chooses, and acting to the description of the Chains of Heaven Sugiura spell. This consumes all of the lines.
Shielding Beauty: The next application of Hana's lines depends on angle--if she's not standing in the correct place, then these lines have no use to her with this ability. As long as the lines are covering enough of an area, Hana can use them to completely block a single ability aimed at her. Using her weapon as a shield itself, the lines that she's chosen glow brightly and start to expand and solidify. They expand over an area of about two feet apiece, forming into scales that build up to a larger shield. Everything that collides with the shield is nullified, no matter the strength of the ability--but any holes in the shield will allow 100% of the energy in that area to pass through, making the shield not completely infallible. This is probably the most difficult way to apply her ability as it requires planning ahead that is almost impossible to do without Hana's psychic abilities. This uses as many lines as are activated.
Damaging Sanctity: This is the attack-based use of Hana's lines, and it has two methods of being activated--singular and mass. When activated with a singular usage in mind, Hana slices through the length of one of her lines and commands it to fly. That line will then fly away from Hana at a rather high rate of speed, sharpening to a blade-edge. Each edge has just as much cutting power as N詒ling itself. As well as this, she is also capable of using these lines for a mass release of blade-edges. Pointing her weapon forward in a way similar to that of activating her chains, she causes the blades to fly forwards at a high rate of speed, with a sharpness about two-thirds that of N詒ling itself. The moment they hit a spiritual target and cut, they dissipate--if they do not hit anything, they will die away after flying for 50 metres.Magecraft Unleashed
Magecraft: Hana's Magecraft is based upon the Origin of 'Understanding'--she is, for all intents and purposes, a powerhouse with her mind, understanding everything there is to know about every small nook and cranny within. This has allowed her an extremely opened up mindset, one that can dominate the control of a lot of things--it has caused her to become an extremely powerful psychic and telekineticist.
Hana's abilities are structured in levels, with each subsequent level requiring a higher level of energy and concentration to maintain; along with a harsher penalty for failure. The active form is signified by a spiritual projection spreading out a metre around Hana's feet.
First Level: Seedling - The basic level of Hana's abilities, the Seedling is a constantly active form of her Magecraft. While active, the Seedling allows for her to read the surface thoughts of anyone within her sight, or sense when family members are nearby. This also allows for her to lift up to six minor objects, or 300 kg (whichever comes first).
(Surface Thoughts are defined as the basic and general thoughts of a person; including simple gestures and things like 'what should I eat for dinner?'. Minor Objects are defined as objects that are less than 50 kilograms.)
While this mode is active, the area round Hana's feet appears as small seedlings sprouting out of the ground. This form has no leave time, and uses little-to-no energy, able to be fueled by residual energy.
Second Level: Bud - The first major level of Hana's abilities: the Bud is the beginning level of Hana's growth. While active, the Bud allows her to, while reading surface thoughts, allow for basic precognition in battle. While she can understand what may or may not be coming within the next post, whether or not she can accurately act upon that information in the middle of a battle isn't well-defined. This also allows for her to lift up to ten minor objects, five medium objects or 500kg (whichever comes first).
(Basic Precognition allows for Hana to read two actions ahead at a maximum. Medium Objects are defined as objects between 50 and 100 kilograms.)
When this mode is activated, the seedlings grow up into budding flowers. The flowers constantly gather energy from sunlight, subsidizing Hana's energy usage and allowing her to use this form for twice the time that she would be able to if she was just using her usual energy. For that reason, this form can last for up to twenty rounds before dissipating. If her power fails in this form, she will be returned to Seedling with no issues.
Third Level: Bloom - This is the third form of Hana's abilities; the Bloom is the average form and the one that she tends to approach the most. When using this form, Hana is capable of, while reading surface thoughts, using minor precognition. She can lift up to twenty minor objects, ten medium objects or five major objects--or up to 1000kg.
(Minor Precognition allows for the capability to read up to three moves ahead. Major Objects are defined as objects from between 100 and 500 kilograms.)
When in this form, the buds that are around Hana's legs grow up slightly more, appearing as if they're about to open up in flower. Due to the absorption of sunlight, she is able to hold this form for three times as long as if she were using her usual energy reserves. Therefore, it can be held for up to nine rounds. If her power is to fail while she's using this form, she will be violently ejected from this back into Seedling, suffering numerous mental injuries and messing up her concentration for the next two rounds--she won't be able to transcend to her next form for that time.
Fourth Level: Flower - This form is the one that's usually Hana's power ceiling, by choice. In Flower she is capable of reading down to in-depth thoughts--though only one person's at a time, and without control over which thought she's reading. She can also use major precognition. While she is capable of lifting (and manipulating the placement of) up to forty minor, twenty medium or ten major objects (or up to 2000 kilograms), she also has the capability to expend a larger amount of energy to lift an 'epic' object.
(In-Depth Thoughts are counted as being deeper than surface thoughts, but not quite at the level of memories. Major Precognition is defined as reading up to four moves ahead. Epic Objects tend to weigh more than 1000 kilograms, but have a major difference--the ceiling for them is much higher, almost reaching a million kilograms.)
The area around Hana's feet changes to the flowers fully growing in their total glory. They have bloomed to their maximum size, and are therefore taking in the most possibly sunlight that they can: this allows this form to last for four times the amount of time that they would last with Hana's energy stocks. This allows for eight rounds before dissipation. If her power is to fail while using Flower, she will be violently thrown back into Seedling with major headaches and possible lesions in the brain. If no lesions occur, then she will be able to power up again within five rounds. If they do occur, then she will need a week to heal before being able to use her abilities again.
Final Level: Sinners' Garden - This is, by all means, the most powerful and dangerous form that Hana has at her disposal. Although the previous forms had some power to them, the power growth from Flower to Sinners' Garden is exponential--almost ten times the power output and usage. The obvious flipside to this is, however, the threat to Hana's life. If she is to fail while in this form, then the throwback to her mind will leave her in a coma, likely for at least a week before waking up again. That said, if we were to rate the power of this on a scale of 1 to 10, then this would surpass all limitations, reaching 50 to 80. The main weakness in this is that her power is generally quite unstable, and requires that all allies escape her vicinity in case she manages to lose control and start attacking everything around her. She also becomes twice as susceptible to physical feeling than usual.
When this form activates, the flowers multiply in number and size, and petals float around Hana. This area increases in size, covering approximately twenty metres around her body. The moment one steps into this area, they immediately get brought into her region of influence. Within this region of influence, Hana gains an amazing amount of strength of mind. She loses all psychic links with her opponents, but replaces it with extremely powerful telekinesis. At this point, nothing is out of her control--unless it lives. From the back of her body escape fifty unseen tendrils of energy. These tendrils are capable of picking up most objects: all fifteen of these tendrils in unison can lift over a million kilograms.
She also gains 'Instant' Precognition. Rather than seeing something before it happens, she is constantly aware of everything going on around her. It's preferable to call this a 'true sight', but even this has its issues. When we say 'everything', we mean 'everything'. Everything down to the insects buzzing and what direction they're going to buzz in. Exposure to this for longer than six rounds at once would cause Hana to go mad. Once she has used all six rounds worth of thought--even if deferred over more than six rounds--she must rest her mind's eye for three more rounds, gathering up enough energy to use her true sight once more. She cannot directly focus this ability, but she can refine her sight at the cost of an extra round's worth of sight. This refinement allows her to reduce the area to which she views the world, but causes more strain.
When in this final form, the fully-bloomed flowers gather much more than just sunlight. Eating away at any Reishi floating in mid-air, Hana becomes capable of holding this form for anywhere from ten rounds (without airborne Reishi) to twenty rounds (in spiritually-rich realms). Either way, when this form ends, Hana is plagued with a sudden and incurable migrane. This lasts for the rest of the thread, and she becomes unable to even move from the pain. The pain fades away within a day realtime, but Hana is as weak as a puppy and completely vulnerable. That said, it is possible to help Hana to ignore the pain with other centralized points of pressure--it's up to those she's with to figure that one out, though.
Some Proper Definitions:
When Hana is reading the thoughts of others, it must be understood that not everyone is sane or stable. Because of this, there are times when those thoughts and mindsets can impact upon her own psyche--being in the presence of a lot of insane people at once can often be too much, causing Hana to occasionally break down if she can't handle it. Her family is a prime example of this going too far.
As for the precognition, just because she can see things coming doesn't mean that she can react to them. Because she's not a primarily physical fighter, sometimes the only use of seeing something in this way is to allow her to move her body just enough to minimize damage--that is, if she is capable of minimizing damage, especially if the attack is powerful enough.Past
Character Background: When a Leonhardt child is born, there is normally great cause for celebration--a royal birth is something to be loved and brought about with greatness. Many consorts arrive to greet the child to this world, augurs are called forth to bring a vision of the child's future, and a great feeling of happiness and wonder spreads throughout the kingdom, even to the eastern shores and beyond... but this was not always true of the children; for sometimes circumstances dictate otherwise. Bringing out the child from her mother, the doctor noted one thing: this baby was minuscule. Not just small for a newborn, the parents noted that she was as fragile as even the most durable flowers--so for this, they took a page from the Eastern Kingdom, naming her Hana, or 'flower'--in Hebrew, this was taken to mean 'grace'--her parents had already decided such grace would befit their daughter, their newest and youngest daughter.
However, something was wrong within the area of this birth: when born, Hana was crying. As she was passed from man to woman--even from mother to father--Hana would not stop. Each touch to her flesh caused her to seemingly cringe in pain, and every light tap of the fingers against her body caused a small increase in the pitch of her screams. The doctors could not understand this, and no matter how many people tried to calm her down, she would only continue to cry in pain. Even the augurs, those seers that could read the future, could not scry the meaning of such a thing--for looking into her future only brought forth interference, and they had no such way of understanding where she was going to be taken. This caused them great worry, and they refused to admit her way forwards, instead keeping her in a place where she could not be harmed by the smallest touch.
Trapped in this room with little light and only food, Hana grew with a very limited amount of interaction with other people. Only able to speak to servants or parents occasionally, the girl's learning became internal: she took two years longer than most to speak her first word, but had already taught herself to walk before she could crawl. Her mind itself grew in power in the shadows, but nobody could notice these things--even the augurs continued to have difficulty scrying her state of mind. Her first word was 'love'. As she grew, that vocabulary did as well, along with her mental power. At the meager age of three years, Hana's knowledge of language grew infinitesimally, simply from her new-found reading of surface thoughts as servants passed before her room. Before she knew it, she had grown to a healthy young girl, though she was still constantly plagued by pains upon her flesh.
By the time she had turned five, the augurs had discovered one thing, and one thing only: Hana was destined to be powerful--though almost all of the Leonhardt children were going to be granted a holy sword upon their coming of age, they had discovered an affinity for two, yet those two had both belonged to the same man. Though this was said, they needed to make sure that she was ready to develop--ready to become the power they believed that she would grow into. An arena was formed from the powers of the Knights, an arena that would eventually be known as the Arena of Withered Flowers. Brought into this arena with but a small dagger to use as a weapon, Hana was given an ultimatum: Fight, or Die. This five year old girl had been granted a death sentence by beings who didn't believe that she could do it and live.
Standing in this Arena, she was approached by a Beast from the Lands of the Guardians. His name: Grendel. The beast wandered into the Arena and stared--it was her opponent. Closing her eyes briefly, Hana awaited the attack of the beast. Despite her age and inexperience, she was steely and calm. The beast that was standing before her was six feet tall, with fur that spread completely over its body and eyes that retained the luster of red gems. As it dropped to all fours, the beast charged. It crossed thirty feet in two leaps, appearing before Hana and swinging with a great claw that would cleave any lesser man in two.
It hit her and batted her away as if she were weightless, this girl that was far smaller than any other her age. She flew towards the wall and collided, falling to the ground and groaning. The dagger had been knocked clean out of her hand and stuck out of the ground several feet away. With a groan, Hana slowly looked up and stared at the beast with her bright blue eyes, slowly losing the color from those orbs. Her entire body refused to move, and yet she felt something within her urging her on--telling her to understand her opponent, and to destroy it with its own mind. The voice continued to thrust its honeyed words into her ears--she was unaware of the source, but she knew that it had to be a part of her.
As she slowly made to climb up from the wretched earth, the beast charged once more. It appeared in front of Hana once more. It brought up that leg, readying itself to drop the hammer and kill the youth that it had been assigned to. Grendel swung... and hit. Yet what it hit... was not Hana. As if out of nowhere, a piece of the Arena itself stood between it and Hana. The beast, though bewildered, did not stop its attack, raising its head to bite down on the bloodied youth. As it bit with jaws strong enough to rip a buffalo in two, it found itself unable to move any further--it had not bitten anything, yet it was also biting something, and that 'something' pushed back. The Grendel flew away from Hana, not sure of what was going on; confusion plagued its mind as it looked up at the girl that had just been on the ground, nearly-dead.
Swirling around her body was an unrecognizable energy--white, solid, powerful--far too much for a girl of this age. The beings watching from within the spectator platforms were amazed as she rose into the air, seemingly flying. Alongside her were two long spear-like objects. They were recognizable as pikes from the wall. As Hana stared down at the Grendel, it opened its mouth to roar... but no sound would escape its throat. Two stakes were ground into its body, through the weak intestinal system and out the rear--Hana had impaled it without a second thought--was it a defense mechanism, or was it true power? The Grendel died on the spot, and Hana was carried away to have her wounds tended to.
One would consider the idea that maybe, now that she had shown that she was not some weak child with hypersensitivity, she would be brought back into the house with great relish. Of course, this would never be true--the augurs, and her parents, and all of the people who had seen the spectacle... they all feared her. Although she was given a larger room, it was still separate from the people--there were no windows, bar for a single slit that showed the outside world from ground level. She could hear children playing outside, but never join them. She had only herself to play with, and her mind to develop. Hana grew introverted and quiet, only speaking to ask questions of others or to respond to their own. She became enthralled by puzzles and quizzes, going so far as to lock herself away with more and more to understand. Study came after puzzles, and this girl built her own library from books that were smuggled down to her by a sympathetic servant by the name of Jarrod.
Jarrod was a kind individual, not much older than Hana herself, if by about a hundred-and-fifty years. He was young and stupid, but not so much that he believed the stories about Hana being an uncontrollable power. In fact, he continued to tell her that there was nothing to fear about her strength, despite everything that she had been told. He started to explain about Origins, something that his father had explained to him many years before. They seemed like a childish fantasy to Hana at first, but he eventually explained that there would be a reason that she was the way she was--maybe the reason was a good one. Maybe, just maybe, her Origin was building her up for this power, and that she needed to know the ideals of her Origin to know her powers themselves.
Knowing this, Hana began to delve further into her books, shutting herself away from everyone but Jarrod. Jarrod was the one to bring her food. Jarrod was the one to wash her clothing. He became her personal assistant in everything, and she eventually grew close enough to him to start to be able to properly read his thoughts. Though she tried not to, she would notice a comment here or there about how 'beautiful' she had grown, and how much of a 'pity' it was that there was such a difference in ages--despite the Sugiura way of aging. This was by the time Hana was in her mid-300's, and yet she was nowhere near being truly in control of herself or her power. She would occasionally notice him going on about something known as a 'crush', and her name would be included there. When she listened at her door, sometimes the thoughts of passing servants mentioned it as well. One night, she asked Jarrod what a 'crush' was. He turned red and immediately said that he needed to sleep, running out of the room in a hurry. Though confused, Hana was certain that she heard a 'how did she know?!'.
Soon enough, she heard rumors of triplets being borne, but was forbidden from attending their birth. She heard that one of them was supposedly 'evil' by nature, and the other was destined to be a great and powerful leader... but nothing more came from it. She was never able to see the sisters Arturia and Ketheldrein, just like she was never able to see the oldest, Jeanne. She was stuck in this room with nobody but Jarrod to pass the time--and even that time would pass and she would be left alone once more.
NSFW BEGINS
- Spoiler:
One night, however, much would change for the worst. By this time, Kakeru and Feraki had been born, in fact they would have been alive for about fifty years. In the darkness of the night, Hana was certain that she heard a presence enter her room. She called out quietly at first, as she was unable to scry any source of being with her own mental abilities. Concerned that maybe she was simply being foolish, she would stand up and land on the ground with a soft pitter, her toes landing on the cool stone. She tried calling once more, albeit louder, to no avail. As she started to feel her way through the cool room, she could still sense no presence around. She tried calling out once more, and yet nothing would return her voice. Deciding that it was just paranoia--yet unable to shake this feeling of worry--Hana decided to return to her bed. As she shakily touched sheets, the sensation of a finger running along the back of her neck caused her to jump and turn around, reaching over for a gas lamp to quickly alight and reveal a masked figure, leaning over her. The mask seemed to have no holes for eyes, nor anything else for that matter.
The figure easily overpowered her, and a soft song curled itself up in her ears. As she attempted to use her telekinesis to attack the intruder, she found that there was no possible control over anything--the music was completely stopping her ability. For this, she could only struggle as strong hands wrapped themselves around her lithe and pale wrists, pushing them together and thrusting them against the bed. A cackle escaped from behind the mask and she could almost hear a lewd panting noise from whatever it had that constituted a 'mouth'. She tried to scream, but her entire body was petrified to the point of no return. The hand that was not restricting her wrists wound a small rope around them and then tied it to the head of her bed. Not a stranger to sexual tension, she realized exactly what his body language was implying... and yet she could not bring herself to struggle any further.
Hands now free, the being (who was obviously male) reached a hand to her face and wiped something on the side of her lip, almost forcing it into her mouth--she couldn't help but lick it and realize, a moment too late, that it was going to help him and not her. The paralysis took quick effect, yet every feeling was retained. Hands moved back to the male who dropped only his pants, revealing something that Hana had never truly been able to see--the penis that was already long and stiff was brought down with little resistance, touching on the ridge covered by white silken material and slowly rubbing. Even through the material she could feel it as if it were really touching her flesh, moving back and forth over and over again, until the male reached down and pulled away the underwear with little-to-no ceremony.
It was by now that she knew his intention, and could do nothing to stop it. The haunting music had completely weakened her, and he had further ruined the possibility of her fighting back with his binding and the paralysis poison. The long shaft of masculinity drew downwards and pushed in upon her feminine opening, hesitating slightly as if it didn't want to push inwards--even going as far as to start moving back out from the deed. As if spurred by an invisible force, however, the penis was quickly inserted--the hymen was broken and Hana finally screamed. Though normally a painful experience to most, Hana's body increased the pain tenfold as the male pulled in and out of her, blood running down her pale thighs and onto the cold and stony ground. Each thrust brought about less and less blood that was starting to mix with her own juices, and each thrust was less painful and more pleasurable than the last.
Her screams lessened and were replaced by moans of pleasure of amazement, but all that time she realized that they were only bodily reactions... and that she was being raped. Her noise quickly returned to nothing, and she instead stared rebelliously at the white-masked beast who was having his way with her. She heard his breathing growing more and more ragged through the mask, and felt sickened by the amount of pleasure this mystery man was getting out of this. Resigning herself to his touch for now, she waited and waited while he continued to rape her, until she felt his heat press itself deep into her body. He got up. He got dressed and silently prepared to leave... and that was when the music stopped.
NSFW ENDS
Without any warning, the bed was raised into the air, even as the weak-legged Hana rose to her feet and stood, white liquid dripping down her legs and onto the ground, mixed with blood. She growled quietly, the bindings easily torn to shreds as she raised her hand into the air and pointed at the man who was now quickly trying to escape. Despite his best efforts, he found himself pinned to the wall by a bed. He struggled to escape, and the music started again--but this time, Hana could ignore it. This time, the only thing that was in her mind was rage. She reached up a pale hand and gripped the edge of the mask, pulling it away from the male's face... and then promptly fell to her knees.
Behind the mask was Jarrod, but not as she knew him. His sclera were completely red, his pupils white as snow. His veins were throbbing as if they'd been infected with some disease, and he seemed incapable of speech. Looking away, Hana realized that there was a reason that she could not sense his thoughts--there were none to sense. Free will had been robbed and replaced with mechanical idealism. He had been forced to rape her, using his emotions as a tool to push him into the deed. Sickened by the realization, Hana picked up something else. It was the dagger--the one she had been given to kill the beast Grendel with. She made it float into the air. She pointed it at his head. She closed her eyes... and she fired.
Before now, Hana had never killed one of her fellow Sugiura. Before now, the only blood on her hands was that of the Grendel. Before now... she had never felt as empty as she did. Her howls escaped into the night, yet none would ever hear or know as they dared to avoid the room of the howling maiden.
It was her thousandth birthday--almost five hundred years after she'd been raped--that she was finally allowed to leave her basement. That day she was to be granted her swords, and tested to see if she was finally in control of her powers. With only herself to speak of, Hana had locked down completely. She completely ignored her abilities, and let them stagnate to a point that she felt would be of no return. Knowing this, she still willingly went along with the ceremony. The augurs from those years ago were still there, and when they tried to scry her being... they saw more than they had ever done. They saw her past, they saw her present--they saw everything, pouring into their minds as they realized what had happened... and yet they chose silence. They said that the path was clear. They told her parents that she could take the swords, and so she was handed them.
To her right hand, Hana was passed Hrunting, the Hound of the Red Plains. They spoke of this sword as something more akin to a lance or javelin, and said that she would discover her path to greatness with this blade. To her right, she was passed the Threads of Three Kings, N詒ling. She was told that with this blade she would show the paths of others, and be a force to be reckoned with. Finally, she was asked to show her powers to those who stood before her. Closing her eyes, Hana slowly started to channel the primal and chaotic energies that she had dominion over.
Though at first she couldn't feel the strength beginning, she started to feel it flow through her body and to her outstretched fingers. It spread out slowly at first, searching for a target that she needed to designate. As it hunted for this target she started to see images of memories--one memory--of the fear that she had seen in Jarrod's eyes. Was she really so scary? Was she really... just a beast? A tear fell down her left cheek and the power became more chaotic. It started to reach for the nearest object, not caring for Hana's choice. As it reached along, another image flashed before her... the look in Jarrod's eyes as he died... though it was subtle at first, she realized that there was more to it than she'd really thought. More than she had really... understood.
There was pity. Sorrow. Forgiveness. The emotions in those eyes were emotions that belonged to a man who cared. She remembered his hideous appearance--it was obvious that he had been taken over by something. He had done all of that against his will, so that would have been why. The tear dropped to the floor, but the power slowly flickered back into a controlled state. Finally, for the first time in six hundred years... Hana spoke. She spoke of understanding, and a realization as to what her power meant.
Opening her eyes sharply, she suddenly dropped her hand and instead spread her arms outwards, raising objects into the air before all who were present. Instead of anger, only a serene smile crossed her lips. And instead of hatred and fear, all her parents saw was beauty. All the augurs saw was a power that could be controlled by her heart. And all that the beast saw... was something to kill.
At that moment, a great spear would be sent forth. The spear was launched from a great distance, aimed directly at Hana herself. Watching calmly, the girl simply raised her right hand--stopping the spear with little effort and throwing it safely into the horizon. A great roar came, and a beast appeared before them with an appearance that was all-too-familiar to Hana. Though this was not Grendel, it felt similar. As it spoke, it referred to itself as the mother of Grendel--a beast that surpassed its son in many ways. Reaching up, it aimed to hit Hana with its paw and missed, realizing that she was already gone. As it searched for the girl, it suddenly noticed a speck in the distance, aiming down the sights of a clear bow--Hrunting pointed at her.
Hana spoke to herself at that point, though her exact words have never been known by anybody but Hana herself. She apparently spoke of understanding and realizations, and that her power had never been something to fear--in fact, it should have never been feared. As she drew back the string of Hrunting, the beast discovered one thing it had never felt--fear. Releasing the string with her fingers, the weapon streaked towards its target at a rate that nobody expected, with a power nobody saw coming. The magical bullet hit without mercy or pardon and ripped through the body of the beast with no remorse--death was instantaneous and painless. As it cried its last into the night, it shouted a name. Jarrod... it had been the one to force him to do that. Knowing her vengeance to be complete, Hana returned to her parents and the augurs, offering herself to be locked away once more--she was refused. She was told that she would finally live above ground. She could finally become a part of the family itself...

Oneesama! There's just a little thing wonky with all of this~
I think you should mention in the magecraft something to do with illogical aspects; because we all know that a lot of characters not stable, sane or even follow proper though processes. So a note denoting some of the weaknesses with the whole though reading would help~ Also, the other thing is the prediction thing; that's a bit iffy, if you'd like to try and expand a little bit on that~
I love you Oneesama~

Some Proper Definitions:
When Hana is reading the thoughts of others, it must be understood that not everyone is sane or stable. Because of this, there are times when those thoughts and mindsets can impact upon her own psyche--being in the presence of a lot of insane people at once can often be too much, causing Hana to occasionally break down if she can't handle it. Her family is a prime example of this going too far.
As for the precognition, just because she can see things coming doesn't mean that she can react to them. Because she's not a primarily physical fighter, sometimes the only use of seeing something in this way is to allow her to move her body just enough to minimize damage--that is, if she is capable of minimizing damage, especially if the attack is powerful enough.
