» Personality: Akira is a kind and gentle person, with a magnetic personality, making it easy for him to make friends wherever he goes. He is also very brave, never leaving someone in danger, and is never afraid to speak his mind whenever he knows something is wrong, no matter the consequences. Though from afar, he is usually seen as a quiet or serious person, he really enjoys the company of others, and loves to make new friends. He always tries to be neat in whatever he does, but that isn't always the case when he's excited, at which time he tends to be a little messy. While with his friends, he seems to be an easy-going guy, making jokes every now and then, and laughing with his friends. He is also very loyal to his friends, and is always there for them whenever they need him the most. The younger of his friends though, seem to have him in hight regards, as they always try to follow his hard-working ethic, and come to him for help if they need it, as they know he wont turn them down without good reason to.

When he strangers approach him, he always greats them with a smile, but is still on guard, as he never trusts people he doesn't know, but still tries to be as honest as possible if they ask him about anything that isn't too personal or too serious. He also can be extremely cold towards someone, if they have betrayed his trust numerous times, or has done something unforgivable to him, or someone he cares for. At this point, he either completely ignores their existence or is extremely uncaring towards them, hiding this behind sarcasm and ambiguous terms.

» Background:
From the day he was born, Akira had been hated by his step-father, Hyato, and one of his older twin brothers, Hyaki. The reason for this hatred was due to the fact that his mother, Arika, after an argument with Hyato had left the house, and in her depression, had gotten drunk. During this time she had slept with another man who had been with her in the bar the whole night. When she realised this, she immediately went to Hyato about it, and he was furious with her, and was even more furious with her wanting to keep the child. Her reason for keeping the child was that the child would always remind her to never get drunk again, and though it was a harsh lesson, it was one she decided the go through. At the age of 4 years, when Akira was to learn the way for the sword from his step-father, as it was the custom of their clan, Hyato refused to teach him, as he never saw him as part of the clan, and swore never to teach him anything. At the age of 5 years, Akira was brought out into the forest by Hyato, along with Hyaki and Jin, Hyaki’s twin brother, as a training measure. Akira, who was too glad to be learning something from Hyato, had no doubts about him being taught, but Hyato had other plans. As soon as night fell, and Akira went to sleep, Hyato woke both Hyaki and Jin, and left him in the wilderness, hoping that he wouldn't have to see his face again, but Jin would allow nothing of the sort. Jin, to whom Akira had been a real brother and friend to, had carried another katana along with him, as he felt it would be necessary, so he left it beside Akira and left with his father.

When Akira awoke, he called for Hyato, but there was no response. He called for his brothers, and again there was no answer. He quickly got out of bed and noticed the katana beside him, with a note attached to it. After reading the note, Akira began to cry loudly, which echoed throughout the forest, scaring a few animals in the process. He stayed there for hours, before he decided to leave the encampment, fear surging through his mind, making everything look horrifying. As he went on, the forest became darker and darker, until he could hardly see a thing. Suddenly, there was movement before him. It was quick and sharp, like the signs of something used to hunting. Instinctively, Akira unsheathed the katana shouting, “Come at me! I won’t go down without a fight!”, though his eyes were filled with fear. The beast lunged at him, fangs bared, claws unsheathed and a killer aura around it. Only knowing that the blade was sharp, Akira quickly placed the katana between himself and the airborne creature, which, due to the speed the creature was moving at, split the creature’s mouth wide open, killing it almost instantly. Though he had felled the beast, its claws had hit their mark, impaling Akira in his right shoulder, inflicting immense pain to the boy. Akira was now all alone in the darkness of the forest, rustling around every corner, and danger beneath every tree.

Without a doubt, Akira knew that the only way he would survive the night was to get to the highest point he could. He quickly scanned the area for the tallest tree he could see and tried his best to get up as far as he could. As he climbed, he could hear the howls of wolves closing in on his position, and began to desperately try. Suddenly, he heard a voice, beckoning to him to come into the large bush before him. Akira panicked for a short time, before running into the bush which covered a hole. Akira fell into it, and all he knew was that darkness enveloped him as he went in. When he awoke, he noticed an old man sitting on the other side of a small cave. In this cave, Akira spent a little over a year with the old man, who watched over him, and taught him the way of the sword in order for him to survive. Three months after his 6th birthday, the old man decided to exit the cave and give Akira his final lesson. As he came out, Akira noticed that the old man was almost see through, and realised that the only reason he only just noticed it, was due to the dark cave. The old man smiled as he noticed the look on Akira’s face and plainly told him, “ I've been dead for 12 years boy”. Akira was taken aback as he wondered how he was able to see the dead old man, but as he wasn't afraid of him, continued on with his train. When he had finished with his training, Akira decided that he would return home. He walked through the forest, confidently, as the sun pierced through the forest canopy, revealing the forest floor. He walked on, quietly through the forest, until he came to the outskirts of the village. He was overjoyed, as he walked towards the gates, walking past the guards who were utterly stunned after seeing the boy they thought dead over a year ago.

When Akira reached his home, he saw Jin, sitting sadly on the front porch. As he approached, Jin saw him, and rushed to meet his brother with tears in his eyes, as he was filled with sorrow and gladness. He told Akira of his mother’s unnatural death after he had left, but he noticed that Akira was smiling past him. Akira saw the ghost of his mother, who told him not to cry, but to leave the village and go to the city, to find a better life. Akira, noticing his brother looking at him, he hugged him, and told him what he was going to do. Jin, who had only wanted to be able to help people in need, steeled himself to go with his brother, and leave Hyaki with his father. As they packed to leave, Hyaki entered the room along with Hyato. Both were shocked to see Akira, who had now had a bath, looking at them with an icy cold stare. He found out what Hyato’s had planned for him the forest, but was even more angered when he was told by Jin that they both celebrated when Arika had died, as she always had hope that she would see him again and constantly implored them to go out searching for him. When Hyato came to hug him, Akira coldly walked past both him and Hyaki with his bag on his shoulder, heading towards the door. After witnessing this act of disrespect towards his father, Hyaki was enraged and pulled his katana and pointed it towards Akira. Akira turned his attention towards Hyaki, who was shouting something about respect towards his father, but, Akira didn't care.

Hyato, who was proud of Hyaki for besting every one of in his age group in a sword, smiled as he knew that Hyaki was challenging Akira to a fight. They went outside, into the ring, before everyone, and they watched on as the most promising child in the village went against his brother, who had been lost to the world for over a year. As the bell was run, Akira dashed towards Hyaki, one hand holding onto the handle of the katana, while the other held the sheath. Hyaki was a little surprised at how Akira had rushing in, almost looking like he had learned something, and waited for the opportune moment the strike, as he still held onto the handle of his sword in the sheath behind his back. When Akira came within striking distance, Hyaki swung his blade down towards Akira’s head with a look of superiority on his face. At the last second, Akira accelerated, coming too close to Hyaki, to be hit by his blade. With a smooth and swift swing of his sword, Akira left a gash in Hyaki’s chest, causing the boy to fall to the ground. Everyone looked on in awe, as Akira sheathed his blade and walked away from his brother, who was now writhing in pain. As he and Jin walked past his father, who was completely stunned at the outcome, Akira smiled and went on to find a better life.

A few years later, Akira, after being adopted along with his brother by a loving family, had just graduated to junior high at the age of 12. He still was able to see and communicate with spirits, but he also found that he could manipulate certain things around him, but of course, kept it to himself. In junior high, Akira made numerous friends, and was flocked by girls, but it wasn't his forte. He went on, practising his swordsmanship on a daily basis after 5 years of no practice. But he still found it a useful tool, as it reminded him of his mother and he teacher. As he went through junior high, he was scouted by numerous clubs as he was an all-round student, good in sports as well as in his studies, but he always turned them down. On the day he found which high school had accepted him, he had to leave his new found family to live closer to his school. The day Akira stepped out of the train he had border to get to Karakura town, his cell phone rang. He had gotten the news that Jin had died. Though he was sad, he was glad to know that his brother no longer felt pain, as he knew that Jin had a bad heart, and the practising in his early age had made it worse. Akira walked on with tears in his eyes and a smile on his face, as he knew that his mother now had company wherever she now was.

» Natural Attributes: Speed and Endurance

» Racial Powers:
Rapid Dash
A form of Soul Dash, but uses less energy to give short, sharp bursts of speed which can be applied in numerous ways. For example, Rapid Dash could be used in tandem with Soul Dash, to further boost one's reaction time, but unlike Soul Dash which can constantly be used, Rapid dash only give a short, sharp, burst, allowing for quicker movement. Another example is with running speed. If Rapid Dash is used while running, it will looks as if Akira performed a sudden lunge in whatever direction chosen, covering a short distance much quicker than usual.

Astral Projection
Allows for Akira's soul to split apart and leave his body for a short time, allowing him to create an astral form of himself to adventure about the place within 25 meters of his body, and appear before anyone with the ability to see souls/spirits. The transfer back to the body is almost instant, though the further away from it he is, the more painful the return. He is able to control the astral body to do his bidding. The astral body is identical to his own. When the astral body is created, it can come into contact with other bodies but can only move things smaller than itself. If the astral body takes damage, it will dissipate and return to Akira, causing him some amount of pain depending on how much damage was taken(20% of damage taken). The astral body will only be stable for 5 posts before it dissipates on its own, if not called back.

Psychokinesis is the direct influence of mind, soul or spirit on a physical system that cannot be entirely accounted for by the mediation of any known physical energy.

» Soul State Evolution Stage 1 Abilities:
Pyrokinesis
Pyrokinesis is the ability to speed up naturally occurring reishi around one's body or spiritual energies within a body, to alter temperature either within an area or around himself, possibly to the point of ignition. Though it is possible to ignite a body, or an area to the point of ignition, its is, by no means instant. the temperature increases by 30 degrees each post until it has gotten to a limit of 600 degrees. if fire is create during this time, Akira is able to control the flame, unless someone with greater flame manipulation is also doing the same. The fire created by Akira doesn't hurt him. The distance from himself and the area size can increase the speed of the temperature increase, as the closer to himself the area, and the smaller the area the easier it is to increase (increases by 5 degrees for every meter below an area size of 3 meters; increases by 3 degrees for every meter below 5 meter distance from Akira). Has cool down of 2 posts after alteration of temperature before Akira is able to alter the temperature of another area.

» Soul State Evolution Stage 2 Appearance:
Crimson red eyes turn gold in colour, other than that, there is no other change from stage 1 appearance.

» Soul State Evolution Stage 2 Abilities:
Cryokinesis
Cryokinesis is the ability to slow down naturally occurring reishi around one's body or spiritual energies within a body, to alter temperature either within an area or around himself, possibly to the point of freezing. Though it is possible to cool a body, or an area to the point of freezing, its is, by no means instant. The temperature decreases by 30 degrees each post until it has gotten to a limit of -600 degrees. If ice is create during this time, Akira is able to control the ice, unless someone with greater ice manipulation is also doing the same. The temperatures created by Akira slightly affects him. The distance from himself and the area size can increase the speed of the temperature decrease, as the closer to himself the area, and the smaller the area the easier it is to decrease (decreases by 3 degrees for every meter below an area size of 5 meters; decreases by 5 degrees for every meter below 3 meter distance from Akira). Has cool down of 3 posts after alteration of temperature before Akira is able to alter the temperature of another area.

» Soul State Evolution Stage 3 Appearance:
A black aura is seen around Akira, causing his silver hair to turn dark purple, and causes him to exhale a black mist.

» Soul State Evolution Stage 3 Abilities:
Telekinesis
Telekinesis is the movement of objects or bodies through the use of the mind. Though this is applicable in numerous fields, the larger the body, the harder it is to control its movement, as well as the more the body struggles, the less control Akira will have over it. If the body weights more than himself, but less than double his weight, he is able to lift it for 1-2 posts with very little control up to 2.5 meters, depending on whether the weight of the body is closer to his limit, or closer to his weight respectively. Similarly with bodies weighing less than himself. If a body weight less than half his weight, then he will be able to easily lift and control its movement up to 10 meters, else he will need to concentrate on the body harder to regain the control but the speed and height he is able to move it at and to, decreases by 5 meters. Further practice with this ability will increase the range at which objects can be controlled and the weight he is able to control freely.

PsychoBooster
Allows Akira to bring out the full potential of his abilities, by increasing the effectiveness and destructive capabilities of all of his abilities significantly(including limits), making his abilities above average for his tier, but at a cost of double the energy for a period of 5 posts when activated. Any prolonged use beyond this, before a cool down period of 10 posts, damages the body, causing abilities to become double edged swords, dealing 30% of its damage to himself. The ability can be disabled in order to save on energy.

» Roleplay Sample:

Akira sat atop a roof, watching them file in through the entrance, one by one. He smiled as he knew their time would soon come, when he'd have to crush them with all his might leaving no one body intact. He noticed that one of them spotted him, and knew he had to work fast. Quickly, he grabbed the bottle, releasing the foul smelling odour onto their bodies, like a silvery mist coming down from the sky. Everyone panicked, running in a multitude of directions, some writhing in pain as his concoction worked. Soon, they all laid dead, and Akira just took our his blade, humming to himself as he slowly dissected them, leaving no body untouched.

As soon as he was finished, he smiled. What he had done, he knew their families would try to get their revenge for it, but he didn't care.His work was done. He wiped his hands after gathering the body parts, and then gathered a few papers to help hide the bodies. He took out a lighter, with a slight grin on his face, "With this, no one would be able to identify the bodies," he thought , as he set them ablaze with the help of a small amount of gasoline. His mission was complete. He had finally concocted a liquid, that would kill the ants either on contact or within a short while. He now knew that he was on his way to being ready for the science fair.
