THREAD OF THE YEAR!

It's been one amazing year on Platinum Hearts and now it's time to look back as far as you possible can; from the start of 2012 to where we are now to decide the best nominations for their Of The Year Categories. This will also be our first time doing an Of The Year Series and I hope all goes well for those who take part in this event! I wish the best of luck of everyone who is entered in this thing and hope to have another this time next year!

Voting Rules

1. Do NOT vote for your own thread YOU made. We will NOT count these votes. However, it is OK to vote for a thread you were apart of in if you TRULY feel it should be apart of the nominations.

2. NO VOTE RETRACTIONS! IF YOU VOTE FOR SOMEONE, PLEASE STICK WITH THAT PERSON!

3. This thread will only last a maximum of one week. However, depending on outside circumstances, it can last for 3-7 days as these contest vary on how much time the staff on PH have to spend on them. So do not get pissy if we have some delays.

4. You can only vote for ONE thread.

5. Do NOT make multiple accounts to vote for someone. If we catch people doing this, there will be a swift punishment waiting for you as we actively check IP's on the site.

THE PRIZES

First Place: The perople who win first place in thread of the year will receive 20,000,000 yen each, one skill upgrade, their own PH Medal, a mention in the Of The Month Winners and Of The Year Winners thread, their image on the sidebar for the month of January and a mention in the site's Youtube.

Second Place: The people who win runner up will receive 10,000,000 yen each and an honorary mention in the Of The Month/Winners threads along with a 2nd place medal.

Third Place: The people who win third place will receive 5,000,000 yen and an honorary mention in the Of The Month/Winners threads and possibly a 3rd place medal.

Ah... I feel bad putting up a topic I participated in, but I think it should at least be brought to the attention of others... It's not a massive party topic or something seething with plot... but I feel it's a good read for having all of the elements of story-telling, combat, and a softer side. Only two writers, including myself.

Five pages of pure awesomeness.

This thread. Just this thread. It went from January of last year to September; so it freaking well applies for a thread of the year. It was five pages long, consisted of a sub plot, main plot, and then a plot after that, switched locations three times, killed a big bad, and had 5+ characters in it simultaneously.

I know, I know, I'm in the thread I'm nominating but that's not why I'm doing so. I'm nominating it because JJ did an excellent job as James Mizumuzi in it. James made pillars of ice, gigantic tidal waves, an absolutely massive thunderstorm, used most of the water of one of the largest rivers on earth, and even made a prison of ice and repeatedly stabbed said prison with spears of ice. Pretty intense. At one point the posts get up to over fifteen thousand characters a pop.....yeesh. Anyway, here it is, the ongoing thread: AEGYPTIAN BATTLE!
