Gender: Male

Personality: Okito had been a seemingly loyal Shinigami to the Gotei 13 and Seireitei, serving it's people under the resolve in his mind that he was doing the right thing, serving justice in a world where ravaged land and torn dreams filled the realms. However, not known by Siku, who is practically his adopted son, Okito had longed for the day of his death. He was not able to live with himself, his blade unable to save the lives of many before they met their fate to the wrath of a Hollow before Okito's eyes. He feels heavily burdened by his work as a Shinigami, and has now gone missing from Siku. However, he plans to make a return, soon.

Okito holds the life of a human the hgihest than any other race, having the shortest lifespan on average, but also knowing their joy and happiness due to their ignorance in youth. Nothing was better than being a young kid and growing up to have a family of your own who loved you. He felt as though Siku was cheated of this, and so he wanted to help him all he could.

However, Okito wants to save Siku from his path, and has decided that killing himself with a suicide note left for Siku in his room in Rukongai would explain him. However, first he would check up on Siku's current career as a Shinigami of the 10th Division.

Brief History: Before having raised Siku, Okito was raised by Nana until he was 200 years old, which is when he entered the Shinigami academy and became a member of the 1st Division.

When Nana, Okito's mother, raised Siku, he worked to make money to help raise Siku, being the Shinigami who helepd Siku's soul pass along after his death as a first year newborn. Once Nana died, Okito raised Siku, training him to become a worthy Shinigami.

After Siku became a Shinigami, Okito had left without mention to Siku, ashamed of creating Siku, who would live a similar life engulfed in the despair, agony, and sorrow of watching everything die, everywhere. Okito had grown tired of seeing death, but he wanted to live to see Siku live, as he knew he was cheated of his life as a human, something Okito remembers being the greatest times of his life.

Basic Powers:
Okito is an excellent swordsman, having wielded his Zanpakutō for 190 years against Hollow, Arrancar, Demons, or even humans like the Quincy. His swiftness with the blade and his strength allows for even the thickest of hollow limbs to be cleaved straight through.

Okito's martial arts is creative, however he practices martial arts while using one hand, his left, for melee combat, and his right wielding his Zanpakutō. He has even proven to be exceedingly arrogant, sacrificing his left arm to get a lethal wound on his enemy.

Finaly, Okito has become efficient in the art of the flash step, or "Shunpo". He can use this moderately with full success, however consecutive uses tire him in a matter of minutes. The total distance he can travel isn't exactly the best, however Okito initiates his flash step with much haste.
