Tracking Down The Demon [Closed]

Keianna took in a deep breath and sighed heavily. This was rare, odd, and sort of uncomfortable. It was her own fault. She had been waiting for three hours for a partner to show up, but the girl never did. She knew who her partner was supposed to be; Kyoko Tanaka. That girl likely got off on the wrong stop for day dreaming through her actual one. There was no way she was going to continue to wait for her back at home. Even though it was against the rules and she would likely be punished for this, she left on her own to complete a mission. It may have been a bit of pride, but it was also lack of patience that pushed her into leaving on her own. Although, how could you call getting sick of waiting for three hours impatient? Now, Keianna was walking through the Slums of Old Karakura. It wasn't exactly the nicest place to be, especially for a girl who is alone and around her own age. She was walking through the old slums and looked weak and unarmed. She had already gotten a few idiots watching her as if she were some sort of object. "Disgusting..." she thought to herself, rolling her eyes at their idiocy.
Keianna came to an old run down building and stared at it. She felt like something was watching her from there. She could also sense an interesting energy coming from there as well. "Hm... I wonder if h-.." her thoughts were cut out by a hand coming down on her shoulder. She looked back to see a man smiling at her and a few others watching and laughing as this one began to talk. "Heeyyyy little lady. It's not smart for a girl like yourself to be out here all alo-..." Keianna's right leg came up in a flash, slamming into the underline of this guy's jaw and sending him flying back about ten feet. Her kick was only about half of her power as well. He obviously wasn't expecting it. He didn't brace himself at all, causing his current issue. "Don't touch me." was all she said as she continued walking away and then stopped once more when she felt that someone was watching her again. It was coming from this damn building she was now right in front of. She turned towards it and looked up at the second floor, her eyes examining it from left to right, trying to catch a glimpse of who ever was there.

The being cackled as he looked down at Keianna, an extremely self-serving and overcocky smile coming across his face. His lightning-blond hair stood up short on top of his head as he leaped from rooftop to rooftop, licking his lips as he watched her kick that guy straight out. Kakushi was a scientist; granted, not the best, but a scientist nonetheless. And he was a decently powerful scientist as well; with dual personalities no less of fire and ice!
He continued along behind her, slamming down noisily atop it, before looking down at her and smiling, leaping off the side of the building as he realized he had been detected. His shifter form's coat billowed in the wind as he held onto the side of the building with one hand, creating huge cracks in its olden frame as he suddenly stopped himself, looking down squarely at her. [color=blue]"Well HELLO THERE... WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE MY NEXT EXPERIMENT?"[/color[ He asked her simply, opening his mouth up as a giant blast of flame shot from it down towards Keianna below.
As the people watched Keianna, a pair of eyes narrowed. As she walked away from them, out of sight, strange black hands reached out, grabbing the men before they were dragged into the wall, vanishing completely as the young man began chewing, although there was seemingly nothing in his mouth. His gaze shifted to watch the barbarian who had just leaped out to challenge that fair maiden, even as his eyes looked at the one who had attempted to touch her, his gaze flaring up at the hypocrisy as he vanished from the spot, examining the man's mind as he had the others, before reappearing on the top of the building.
The black energy consumed that man as well, even as Keianna was distracted, causing Schrödinger Yuudeshi to look her way, staring at the man who had appeared. He wouldn't involve himself; he knew she would hate that. So he merely stood there, chewing as more delicious Death Energy rose up to himself, three tails behind him slowly circling in the air as he watched, and waited to see what would unfold..

Keianna stopped as she heard a voice. Loud and obnoxious was what she immediately described it as. She turned her attention towards him. This man wasn't the one that she sensed watching her the first time. The second, yes, but not the first. She immediately concluded that two people were watching her when she felt a slightly familiar energy raise. She stared at this insanely cocky looking man. He asked her to be his experiment. "Not happening." she said to him as she pushed herself to the right of the flame that was shot towards her. She moved quite gracefully, completely avoiding the attack and moving about five feet away from where it would land. She kept her eyes on him, her gaze not faltering. It was almost like she didn't even have to blink. She was one hundred percent alert. "Are you the demon that has been messing with the people of this area?" she asked him, having a feeling that he was the one that she was sent to kill. That familiar energy flared, making her want to look towards a building, but it didn't seem hostile, so she refused that urge. On the other hand, this man in front of her was hostile. She could not take her eyes off of him. She had a feeling there was a bit more to his power and strength than what she could immediately see. She wasn't in the mood to die today.

"Aw c'mon!" He exclaimed back exuberantly as she dodged his energy blast, a smile still on his face as he released the bar and dropped down squarely onto the street. "Messing is such an ugly word! I've just been learning, experimenting... you name it I've been doing IT!" He said with a smile as he brought a foot down, a wave of ice shooting across the road as it attempted to envelop her, freezing her and encasing her in a cacoon of ice. He smiled as he walked forwards, before throwing out a hand, the energy becoming a column of flame as he opened his hand up and fired another large blast of fire at her, smiling as it hit the ice and combusted, making a gigantic explosion in the middle of the street...
Meanwhile, the eyes continued to watch, an ear twitching as he awaited to see what would happen to her. He was pretty sure that she would make it out alright; even as he continued to chew the Death Energy fields, his energy around himself now completely invisible due to the fact he was not exerting it.

"Yes..." she said in agreement to his statement, "Messing is an ugly word. People say it when another does something ugly..." Keianna shot over to the right of the patch of ice, allowing it to pass her by as she purposely jumped onto a piece of rubble from an old building. Her eyes still never left him. He continued towards her. She held out her left hand and formed her sword while in her right she secretly formed three small kunai that she had hanging from her fingers by the loops on their handles. This man aimed at the ice, which she was no longer near, but the debris from the explosions he caused was flying towards her. With a few swings of her sword, she was able to cut them all down.
"I think it's time for you to die." Keianna said as she darted forward at full speed. Before she even made it to him, as a distraction technique, she threw only one of the kunai knives straight towards his eye. This would force him to dodge or likely use one of his elemental techniques to stop it. By that time, she'd be in range, in which she'd bring up her blade, slicing upwards in an attempt to literally slice this man in half. Her intent was to kill. Nothing more than that. If he dodged, she'd immediately shift her blade and bring it right back down in the middle of another step forward to make sure the gap between them would once again close, allowing her range not to be exited.

Kakushi clicked his tongue as she dodged his kunai, swinging his head back as he cracked his neck. His eyes followed every part of her every action, wondering why her hand twitched the way it had. Only way to find out... He thought as he stared intently at that hand, waiting. "I think not." He said simply in reply as his eyes kept up with her speed, his own nothing to sniff at as he smiled at the kunai, even as it pierced right through his eye, going all the way through. "AND NOW I'VE LOST AN EYE! AHAHAHAHA!" He stated, even as something clashed against her own blade, as Kakushi's body began to change.
In his hands appeared a scythe and chain, swinging down as he pushed Keianna's blade away. Meanwhile, his upper body had lit on fire while his lower had frozen; then, another change occured as his skin began to peel away. The flaming top of his body became simply his energy making light, and his bottom became darkness as on his back, a wing of fire appeared from his right side, flaming, and a wing of ice appeared on his left, completely frozen. The right side of his face became covered in flames, the left side becoming totally frozen; the shedding of his skin regenerating his eye; Kakushi Misuto was completely in the fight as he swung his old-fashioned Satsugai Tsuru around himself. The release into his Shishi Modo had only taken a moment, as his scythe was pulled up by his right hand, clashing with her blade once more as he held up his right arm, lowering his elbow of light before dealing a lighting fast blow to her ribs, elbowing her from behind, even as his wings closed around her, spraying streams of fire and ice onto her at a rapid pace, before flapping as they hit her one more time, his scythe finally releasing her blade as he flipped around, laying hand out to stop his rolling forwards motion.
He then merely smiled, whipping his chain upwards into the sky. He released the chain, most likely getting Keianna's attention on the scythe, as he held his hands up to his head. "LIGHT FLARE!" He called out, as the light of his upper body became extremely bright. If Keianna's eyes were open, she would be temporarily blinded by the light for ten seconds, even as Kakushi rolled to the side, pointing a hand in front of himself and smiling as darkness energy began gathering there.
If she had been blinded by the light, the blast would charge for its full ten seconds before releasing in a massive wave of destruction one hundred feet in front of Kakushi's self. If it did not, then he would use the fact that she seemed to like close range to blast a ten foot sized explosion of darkness into her face if she approached him, most likely blowing her away.
In either case, his wings then took to the sky, as he hovered roughly twenty feet in the air, staring down at her with the sun behind him framing his image, his wings on either side of his body. "Please do not underestimate me... I've not been out of the lab for a long time, but I have learned how to use my tricks even better than before." He said, that cocky smile remaining on his face.
Meanwhile, the cat Yuudeshi was watching from his spot, finally swallowing. He blinked as the man changed forms; Schrödinger hadn't been expecting him to have a weapon like that. That kind of weapon was outdated for at least a year now; very few demons used it anymore. However, it was still an effective weapon; it was soul linked to Kakushi's own body, as well as having the ability to morph into other weapons, although Schrödinger had no idea what those items might be. He himself had of course looked right up at the flying scythe, so obviously needing of attention as it could turn into a likely threat for Keianna, and thus he was blinded for ten seconds when Kakushi released his light flare. As the light left his eyes, he rubbed them, blinking as he looked downwards to see what had become of Keianna below. It appears that I may have underestimated this fellow a bit... I hope she doesn't require assistance...

Keianna was startled and some what disturbed that he was some how able to take a kunai straight into his eye. The fact that it didn't seem to hurt him at all was appalling. This guy was a monster. Her blade made contact with something, causing her to completely halt all attacks she had planned out against him. A scythe had formed, his body was bursting into flames, and wings began to form. Keianna wasn't stupid enough to stay that close to someone who's body was practically enveloped in such an energy. The moment he even began to change, she jumped back and away from him, creating a ten foot distance away from him. She continued moving back from there as well, until she would make at least twenty feet away from him. "Damn it Kyoko!" she thought when she realized she was supposed to have a partner on this mission, but that person was unreliable, "This guy is going to be a problem..." Unfortunately for Keianna, she wasn't sure exactly how she was going to deal with this. Not only that, but she just noticed her kunai was on the ground and his eye had regenerated. "Run..." she thought to herself as he began shooting ice and fire towards her, "RUN!" Keianna darted backwards another ten feet and turned to run as fast as she possibly can. She came to a narrow alley way, hoping his wings would not be able to fit through there and ran down it, continuing on as she attempted to think of some sort of plan.

Schrödinger's eyes followed her as she began to run away from the man; Kakushi's eyes narrowed and his mouth widened in a smile as he began to flap his wings after her, turning his body as he swung his wings in on himself, cackling as he shot through the alley. Mr. Kittykins turned around, quickly following on all fours from above the demon, undetectable. This isn't good... She should be fighting... not running! He thought to himself, somewhat burning with anger that she was doing this. He thought she probably had a plan; but he thought she was the type to stand her ground and survive.
Kakushi smiled as he came onto ground again, vanishing as he went into the shadows and appearing in front of her, thrusting one hand forwards around her neck as he appeared directly in front of her, pushing her downwards towards the ground, scythe overhead. "WELL... How's my offer sounding now? AHAHAH!" He said, cackling madly as he slammed his scythe down over her sword, waiting to see what, if anything, she would do to stop it. Meanwhile, on the rooftop looking down, the boy sat down on the edge of a building, one ear twitching and his tails flailing behind himself as he began to think he might have to intervene after all... even though he didn't want to if he could help it.

Keianna was running at full speed and had no intention of stopping. As he appeared, she bent her body backwards. She dropped downwards under his arm, petite enough to slide along the ground and straight through his legs. Once she slid all the way through and got behind him, she pushed herself back to her feet, and back flipped a single time away from him. She didn't attempt another attack just yet. She jumped onto the flat surface of a wall and pushed herself away from it, flying through a window that was right across. Rolling once, she pushed herself back to her feet and was now inside of an old office building. She ran through, passing by cubical's and hopping over old office equipment from this old abandoned building. "He uses shadow's huh?" she narrowed her eyes as she completely hid her energy and calmed herself down. She ducked into one of the cubical's and hid for a moment, doing her best to think of some sort of plan that would allow her to attack. His entire body was made up of flame, his regeneration rate was ridiculous. She had no idea what those wings could do and wasn't sure how to find out, or whether she even wanted to. She was a short ranged, melee, hand to hand combat fighter. She didn't have any neat tricks she could use like other people did. She literally relied on her body's skill, nothing more. "Shit... What the hell am I gonna do now?"

The man smiled as she thought she had gotten away. In reality, he quickly threw his head around to look at her, his eyes rolling back into his head as his body moved forwards through the shadows once more. His body moved through the shadows, as the other rpesent demon's eyes narrowed. He debated taking over the shadows in the immediate area; or creating a massive flare with Absolute Fox-Fire. But he knew that would be interfering; and he had to trust her.
Meanwhile the demon had searched throughout the entire building. Finally he found a light source; a thing he knew shouldn't exist here. He appeared in front of her, a smile on his face as this time he didn't play around. His hands were back on his forehead as he appeared. She's in this darkness alone... Thus her eyes have adjusted to it... LET'S SEE HOW SHE LIKES THIS! He thought, his wings folded up as he released another Light Flare, directly in front of her. If her eyes were open, she'd not only be blinded quite badly, but it would almost hurt due to how her eyes were currently set to darkness.
However, that wasn't all he had planned as he opened his mouth, fire shooting out as it shot directly into her, burning at her and her clothing and such from the blindness. FInally, he shot a hand back, holding it behind himself. Now to charge the Ulti Dama... He thought, as pure Za Koa energy began to charge and flow into his hand, gaining in strength...
