Bar Room Madness [Closed]
Sat Oct 13, 2012 11:23 pm
The night was young and the Madness seemed to dance through the bar, the people were drinking a Mexican drink known simply as Tequila, strong stuff Riven had always noticed. It seemed to make men into dancing fools when they weren't careful, but then again Riven was dancing with them. So even if his brain noticed that fact so what. He grinned happily dancing with them till well the drunk on right of him bumped into a bald guy with a pool stick and this evening just got a bit more complicated. See what most may not understand is that whiskey has two effects on big guys. First of them was they got drunk, took a while but it was the end. The other was they got stupid, thinking just because a guy bumps them they fight the world. Riven had been laughing and giggling like he'd been drunk, but he'd not had a single drop. He was 27 years old and didn't drink, but he did smoke to calm down when ever he was bothered by something or his mind was going to fast. Riven's mind was similar to a super computer, calculating things so fast that some of the sharpest couldn't keep up.
"Hey now, we can get along it was an accident after all. Lets have fun, I'll buy you another round, come on what do you say." The way Riven said it was more of a suggestion, he wasn't a weak man by any standards. He mutter to himself Switch, Rook as though he knew trouble was coming. His voice wasn't nearly as cheerful as the moment before, he didn't harden his expression. "Hey pops you got insurance , I think this guy is gonna swing for the fences with his..a..pool stick." Riven spoke very casually, but he had an odd thing about him. He seemed to give of a calm and yet happy vibe as though he was cheerful and glad. People seemed to enjoy being around him or to be annoyed, though he didn't remember it. Sometimes he felt like a person was inside him, vicious and brutal waiting for it's chance in the lime light. Ok well enough soul searching and memory shit for today, next.
Well here's how the deck looks kiddies, Captain cue ball is swinging a rather large pool stick as though it makes him the next greatest thing since someone figured out animated films make money. Well let's point out the flaws shall we, his stance was rather weak. He stood about 6'6" if Riven had to guess. His brains were obviously smaller then his shoes, Bar Room fights were so utterly pointless. Riven thought for a moment he noticed what the guy was wearing. Ok sure if everything went this way things would be fine. Judging an enemy by his clothing, normally is a bad idea. The peace sign shirt, a sheer lie obviously. This guy had about as much control as a Actor and staying honest with their wife. Pants were shorts, very short shorts. Sandals as well. Riven should of hid his smile and well kept his mouth shut, he pointed at him and said almost like a child pointing at a rare animal in a zoo. "AH I get it, your gay that's why you are pissed off, I see, I see." Riven brought his hand up and down into the palm of his hand exclaiming that last part somewhat loudly.
Well that was basically it, Riven simply ducked and moron number one, hit moron number two. Aka his friend and buddy sneaking up towards Riven and friends (just riven and his imagination.) trying to swing something. However he took a pool stick to the jaw, now this made moron number one very upset with himself. He went became emo and cut himself, not really. He took another swing, to which Riven more or less caught the object in his hand.
"Sorry, baldy-san."

Kyron Suzu
Kyron was becoming highly irritated ever since she entered the damn bar. She was a regular here, but these other people were not. It was literally like the entire bar had divided themselves up. It was the regulars on her side and the idiot newbies on the other. Why so many newbies came here on this day was beyond her, but everyone was being forced to deal with their unruly and loud behavior. It even got worse when an idiot bumped into one of the regulars that just wanted to have a game of pool. "Ah shit..." Kyron watched the scene unfold in front of them. This entire side of the bar kept looking towards her like they expected something. She just kept waving them off and shaking her head. She wasn't in the mood to get into any fights. Kyron could tell that Drake, the man with the pool stick, had finally had enough of these newbie idiots that were ruining their bar. "Drake... don't do it..." she mumbled under her breath as she saw the anger in his eyes intensify. "Are you gonna get in there and take care of them, Kyron?" a young female bartender came up and asked her. She glanced to the woman like she was crazy and then sighed, shaking her head. She took a drink of her water, since she didn't feel it was right to have anything else that night and got ready to get in the middle of these idiots.
"Ah shit!" Kyron saw that Drake had begun to swing the pool stick and stood up, beginning to walk over there. As she walked near, she saw that Drake's friend Jarred was about to get in the middle of it. She heard an extremely annoying statement said from some red headed jerk and finally she had become angry. Jarred had missed the guy who insulted Drake and was accidentally hit by Drake. Kyron could tell that Drake immediately felt bad, but still took another swing at the guy that just kept laughing. This time the pool stick was caught and Kyron heard the man say 'Sorry', but was unsure whether he actually meant it or not. Kyron stepped forward and cleared her throat rather loudly. Drake and Jarred looked up to her and she motioned for them to move behind her. "S-Sorry Kyron..." Drake said and dropped the pool stick, hurrying behind Kyron. Jarred did the same thing and Kyron looked to the group of inconsiderate pricks that ruined everyone's night here at the bar. "Now look..." she spoke up to them, "Everyone on this side of the bar... is a regular here. We like... our peace... and quiet. We come here to relax. Your loud music and idiotic behavior is only pissing us off... Got it? We all would appreciate it.. if you got the fuck out." One of them laughed and walked up to her. "Well little lady... Tell me what a nice ass like yours is gonna do if we decide we don't want to..." this insanely idiotic man put his hand on her shoulder. She glanced down to his hands and then back up to him.
"Something like this okay with you?" she said. Out of no where, a bolt of electricity shot up through the man's hand, coming from her shoulder. The man stumbled backwards, yelling at the top of his lungs because of the pain he felt. He now had a hold the size of a golf ball through his entire hand and the area around it had been burnt rather badly. "Next time, don't touch me." she said to him and then looked up to the rest. "Now how many more of you wish to stay? How many of you wish to go? Because... I can take you all on if that is what needs to be done..." she glanced around the room, waiting for all of their responses. A few of them immediately dropped their drinks and ran out, leaving about four and then the man that insulted Drake there. "Anyone else?" was all she said after that.

Well Riven listened to her reasoning, as to that, he was merely unwinding and the bumping into him had been accidental. But he used his thumb alone and broke part of the stick, the other one Eric had went to run away. Riven's expression changed, something was dark about it. Like the laughing happy man was just one side, Eric's eyes went wide and his blood cold. He'd heard of this and well they hadn't, Riven got annoyed from time to time. His speech pattern changed and he sort of became a different person, but this wasn't anything against Kyron. "Eric...that's enough..if you or Daniel speak like that..ever again..I'll use this stick and impale you on the wall." Riven said calmly and began walking away, just setting the stick down as he left. Riven was angrier then normal, it wasn't her, her reasoning was sound. Eric and Daniel had spoken poorly to a woman, that was unacceptable in any state. His eyes still hardened and something about them would tell those who saw them, this man was someone who'd been places in his life.
Daniel was on the ground Riven noticed, so it wasn't likely he knew he'd been threatened. Riven had observed the two backing away now, he'd let her speak her piece and threatened them. But she'd shocked him, fire began to swarm around Riven's hands and body somewhat. He glanced towards Kyron now with the cold eyes, he wasn't angry with her or them. He exhaled a breath, glancing down at the form of Daniel whom had well in his drunken stupidity been lit up like a light bulb. Her threat was meaningless, Riven spoke now, he wasn't quite the same calm guy that he was. Riven hadn't meant to piss someone off, he just was childish and immature. "Threats are meaningless, I wouldn't attempt it unless you want everything in this place to burn.." Riven blinked a couple times at the remark, it made his head hurt..Something from the past perhaps, he let the flames slowly fade away they were still there. But he didn't need this, he decided to calm down a bit. Eric was frightened and Daniel was useless, the woman and he could fight to a conclusion and this bar would be nothing.
"Sorry..Daniel and Eric won't bother you again or this bar..Good people when the poison of the world doesn't flow into their veins. " Eric had once fought with Riven and to an outcome that embarrassed him still. He'd been simply flicked away like a child, Riven used Rook only for dealing with people like the bald man. But it seemed he'd been enjoying himself a bit much again, he rubbed his neck. He glanced down he'd damaged the pool stick with his grip, he'd not noticed. Walking over to the counter, smiling some as he pulled out his wallet. He set 300 dollars down and headed towards the exit. Riven wasn't sure, but he didn't need to be there. He grabbed hold of Daniel by the back of his neck throwing him literally out the door and into well his own car. "Walk Eric, or you can travel like him.. We've caused these people enough trouble tonight you and Daniel go home..I am going to go.."
Eric seemed to protest almost soon as Riven said it." Riven man, you need to just smoke and relax a bit...Before the pains hit you again.." Riven shot him a warning glare, as though he didn't need further comments. "Just go Eric, I'll buy a pack later. " Riven finished dealing with them, he wasn't really sure but he needed a smoke. Things were getting a bit too intense, he walked out the door and well thankfully it was one of those west doors. The old western ones of wood, he left enough money for damages. He tapped each pocket, his eyes looked sadly at the skies and brought out his cigarettes and brought a finger up. He tapped the end of it, lighting it as he walked away. What happened now was anyone's guess, Riven Croia didn't know and didn't care. He was trying to cool his blood, he knew he should of used Bishop and helped out Daniel. But Daniel spoke in a manner he knew Riven didn't care for and well that was how things were. He exhaled a cloud of smoke from his mouth, smirking a bit. "Molly would certainly give me hell.."
He sat down on a bench outside of the bar, deciding to be alone till his mind slowed down a bit. Anger was something slow with him normally, why did he get testy over things like that. Well the makers didn't like him it seemed.

Kyron Suzu
Kyron kept silent most of the time because she was expecting to be attacked by one of them. She heard the statement about threats being useless. She only chuckled at that. If he only knew how many times she had then bar rebuilt. She wasn't exactly from a poor family and she had her own share of the money that was supposed to be coming to her. Most of it just sat in a bank until she tore this place down again. Of course, she didn't do that as often as one would think. She came here almost every day to talk with her friends. They knew the immense amount of power she possessed. Sure, she wasn't as powerful as some, but threats from this little lady were not useless. Hearing him apologize, she noticed a change in this man's behavior. He wasn't acting like a drunken fool any more. Although, now that Kyron thought about it, she had not seen him pick up a single drink since he arrived in the bar. Was his strange behavior just an act? Either way... she allowed them to leave. "Yeah... And try not to return, okay?" was all she said. She watched the other two leave and he just sat down on a bench. "Eh..." she said and turned around towards those within the bar. Immediately she knew the looks on their faces.
"You can't... be serious..." she said to them with a shocked look in her eyes. "You guys are the ones that made me come over here and confront them... Now you want me to-...." Everyone here knew that Kyron was a toughie, but she was a kind woman as well. She wasn't going to allow the guy to sit out there alone, especially when everyone thought he was drunk. She was literally able to tell by the looks on everyone's face that they wanted her to walk the guy home or something. "I can't believe this..." she sighed in irritation. "Thanks Kyron..." the bar owner said, "Free drinks for a week, okay?" Kyron just nodded and waved everyone off. She was still irritated, but the free drinks didn't sound too bad. She walked out the front door and stepped over to the bench, sitting down. Kyron looked to this red-headed man with a content and calm look on her face. "All right look..." Kyron said with a sigh, "My friends in there are worried about you getting home safely since they think you're drunk off your ass... I on the other hand know different. You didn't pick up a single drink while you were in there..." Kyron then pulled out a pack of cigarettes and pulled one out. She held another out to him and waited for him to take it. She wasn't going to take no for an answer so he might as well have taken it. "So.. Where you live?"

Riven merely sat and smoked his cigarette, his mind was relaxing though they all seemed to not notice he didn't drink. But then Kyron a regular noticed it, he spoke somewhat absent minded and looked up at the skies. "I don't drink really, not the sort of thing I have ever really done, dislike the taste honestly..I smoke to forget my problems..Besides, drinking kills brain cells and I ain't got enough to spare." He took the cigarette not bothering to reject it, because this girl wouldn't accept no as an answer and he knew it. "Mm that's nice of them considering how much trouble we've been..Some people like peace and quiet some cannot stand the silence.. Personally I don't really care either way..As for my living situation as it were..I live at a small apartment now, just recently moved out of my families home. .Nice folks..but birds have to fly sooner or later." Riven put the cigarette out slowly, into the ash tray next to him. He smiled somewhat before dusting himself off, he held a black object in his hand now he'd grabbed it from their vehicle.
It was a black coat he wore. "My house is down near the gang areas, you don't need to escort me..though thank you for the offer Kyron." He brought her cigarette to his lips and held it there, lighting it with a suck of his lungs he slipped on his coat now. Slipping both hands in his pockets, before bringing one up. What some may not of known was Riven was a sharp guy, he just didn't need his parents knowing his past memories were causing him pain again.

Kyron sat back and smoked one with him. She listened to what he was saying about not drinking and smoking to forget. Usually it was the other way around for people, but this guy was a new level of weird. Actually... she began to laugh at the end of his first sentence. "Not enough of them left, huh? You know smoking can do the same thing, except it hits your lungs, not your liver. At least a liver can be replaced..." Kyron took another puff of her cigarette and listened to his next statement. Hearing him compliment the rest, she smiled and nodded to him. Those people were like her family, since her actual family didn't like the way she was living her life. This place was home. "Yeah... They're great people. Like a family to me... Now, let's get you home, okay?" She stood up and waited for him to stand. Hearing his statement about the gang area, she chuckled again, "Don't treat me like I'm some weakling man... I can handle myself, like I'm sure you can as well... Come on, let's go. They'll kill me if I don't make sure you get home, okay?" She tapped onto his shoulder, showing him that she was once again not going to take no for an answer. She waited for him to stand and lead the way to his house.

"Repentance for the things I've done..such a big list but not enough time to go over it..Ah yeah..excuse me a moment.." Riven said calmly before walking towards the bar, he needed to do something before he forgot. He'd not planned on the guy behind him taking the hit, but even had the man stabbed him or killed him. Riven had something he needed to take care of, he was looking rather set on it. He said nothing, putting a hand on the guys head before in his inner mind he said shift. The choice was Bishop, he walked away now the swelling if any had completely faded. Riven disliked seeing people suffer, even people who got angry and took their rage out on other people. "Alright I can go now, I won't bother arguing with you Kyron it's clear I'll lose." He said chuckling a bit at the last part, he was joking a bit their. He could tell she was rather set on taking him home safely. She pry didn't want to more over since they'd had words before, he didn't remember that mans name now and nor would he.
He took a long drag now, exhaling he gestured towards the side walk towards a well worse side of town, it was more or less the place he'd chosen as his roost. "Well let's get going Kyron, didn't want to leave your friend in such a shape..Could of had a concussion.." Riven smiled an began his walk, the man was pry blinking or in shock, even if he had attacked Riven it would of done little good.

Kyron allowed him to do whatever he needed to do. She just stayed outside and waited for him. Once he returned, she smirked at his statement towards the fact that he would likely lose. "Heh.. Yeah, you probably will..." she said jokingly, although she likely meant it more than she let on. She had no clue what he had actually done to her friend, but she allowed it. If he had attacked or hurt him, she would have immediately retaliated and did her best to take him out, but that was not the case. Kyron took a last puff her cigarette and tossed it onto the sidewalk. She stepped on it and then began walking with him. "All right, all right..." she said with a smile and followed him, "Let's get you home, shall we?" Kyron walked along side him, her heels clicking along the ground as she walked. Kyron looked to him as they walked, glancing him up and down with narrowed eyes, "So why don't you explain to me what your deal is. You don't drink, but you pretend like you're drunk... You insult my friend by calling him gay because of something he was wearing, and then I attack your friend and you scold him for his language towards me? What's up with you man?" She watched him, waiting for his answer as they walked along.

He laughed a bit, perhaps she didn't really understand but that was just fine. "I wasn't pretending like I was drunk, I was having fun something that wasn't common where I am from. I was trying to understand why your friend was so angry over someone bumping into him by accident, grant it I did go over the top a bit.." Riven's memories of home were faint, he did know one thing the wars that people saw here had nothing on that place. Were men, women, and even children were prey to the awful skirmishes that came. " To elaborate bit I wasn't born here in Japan or any place similar, the place I was born isn't even on map. Nor does it have a name that it goes by..though everyone was human, so don't get the wrong idea and think we are some sort of dead folks or gods. Though some tried to pretend they were.." Riven's memories on childhood area were a bit lost, a couple years of his time as the King of the one area. But he did know he was of some importance, Riven was considered one of the strongest upon that place.
Riven continued walking, he wasn't really needing much in the way of protection or such so it did surprise him a tad that the female was so eager to follow him despite home to make sure he got there. Riven's time and way of life had changed over time, he didn't really know why people were so stupid at times."I think people let the alcohol get to them to often, they go there to relive stress but in truth..Their methods of relief often lead to what happened..it's an utter shame.."

Kyron nodded. "I see.. So that's just you. You're a strange one." she said in reply to him and then chuckled a bit, "Well Drake was irritated because usually that bar is quiet with regulars. Then a lot of people who no one knew came in and disturbed the entire place. It's sort of like someone coming into your home and breaking a few things without caring about how you felt." Kyron stopped walking at his next statement and just stared at him. She raised an eyebrow, sliding her hands into the pockets of her pants. "Um... What do you mean to elaborate? To elaborate on what? You went from going crazy in a bar to your personal history and saying that you're some sort of alien...? That isn't exactly elaborating... That sounds like you're just making shit up, especially since it had nothing to do with why you were acting like a nut job in the bar." Kyron looked at him as if he were stupid or crazy and then continued walking, her heels once again clicking along the sidewalk with every step she took. In hearing his next statement about the alcohol, Kyron lowered her eyes towards the ground as they walked.
"Not everyone is like your friends in there..." Kyron spoke softly as they walked under one of the flicking lights of the city street, "Most of the people that go there have stories you wouldn't even imagine... Sure, most of them know how and where they were born, but a lot of them have gone through hell." Kyron sounded like she was talking more through her own experiences, not the others. Although she knew the stories of a few of her friends, which is why she is there so often. Those are the people that know, care for, and understand her. Her own family disagrees with her way of life, so she found a new one that wouldn't mind it.
