After finishing Keianna started again. She explained why she didn’t have many friends. A change in personality, which Minami was kind of curious about, but also not curious. She liked Keianna the way she was, oddly enough. My friends always seem the calm mature type don’t they? As Keianna mentioned why her friends moved on she stopped. Her last words were “kill if I wanted to.” That was a little unsettling that she would come out and say that. The way she said it made killing sound too casual. You say that like killing is so casual...it is a little unsettling. Though from what she heard from Keianna, she knew she was no murderer. What she just said might have made Keianna feel bad. Well, I mean, just because you know how to kill doesn’t mean you just go around and do it. I know you aren’t like that. This entire time her voice was soft and sweet compared to normal, and she had a really warm smile, complimented by the blush still on her face. She was being as warm as possible to keep Keianna comfortable. All of it was genuine, so it should have worked. So, you’re personality has changed? How so?

"People are fools." Keianna said out right and seriously, "To treat someone differently because they do not have the mutation that everyone else has is idiotic. Human beings, for thousands of years remained powerless, unaware of the spiritual world... I know people who feel strongly that how it was before is how it was meant to be. They say that having powers is a genetic mutation caused by prolonged and increased exposure to energies that were naturally supposed to remain undetected by humans." Well that was definitely a mouth full, but it was actually one of Keianna's theories about things in this world. She didn't dislike having powers and loved this 'mutation' of hers, but to hear that others are being treated differently because of it angers her. "In short... We're all sick, you are currently healthy." Keianna said as she picked up her glass and took a drink. During her drink, she listened to Minami's question about what she had hoped remained unnoticed. A small sigh left her throat as she swallowed her drink and set the cup back down.
"It is unsettling..." Keianna said in agreement to her, "But you must understand that I was raised by and around an elite group of combat specialists, assassins, and other people along those lines..." Keianna hoped this would ease her thoughts on her momentary slip of the tongue. It seemed to have worked because Minami's next statement was completely understanding, which made Keianna smile. "I do not go out and randomly kill, you can trust me on that." Keianna said with a slight chuckle. Then Minami came up with another question. It was about her change in personality. "When my Father died, I was in a very strict part of my training..." Keianna began to explain to her, keeping her calm face, "My mother was depressed, my grandfather became a stricter trainer. My grandfather will not every use the T.A.G. finances to aid his family in personal affairs, so I was forced to get a job. I did exactly that and became physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted. There was a point that I was even on the edge of very negative thoughts. I stayed at the job for a while, stopped smiling, laughing, forgot about friends... and all because I had to continue my training, along with the job and school. Those combined were just too much. After a while I was told to quit. My mother felt better so she got her own job and let me go balance school and training without the job. It was too late. The damage had been done. I had no friends, my grades dropped to C's, and I had to bring it all back up. I chose my grades over friends... Ever sine then, I've just been like this... I like it. It doesn't bother me. I can still smile and laugh depending on who I am with."

Now Minami’s final question was answered. Keianna explained everything that had happened. Her father died, and she had to keep up with training, school, and work. She became drained, and seemed to lose everything. It wasn’t until her mother got a job and made her quit that she recovered, sort of. It kinda made Minami a little sad to hear the story, and it showed on her face as it was told. However, Keianna’s final statement made Minami blush a bit. Certain people could still make Keianna smile and laugh she said. Minami had, apparently, made her both smile and laugh at some point or another. That sounds like it was hard. She stopped for a moment, then continued. Only certain people can make you smile and laugh. You’ve done both of those with me... Minami was blushing, but giggled a little. Normally Minami was a much more energetic and perky girl, but here she was showing a softer side here.

Keianna was slightly taken aback by Minami's tone when she replied to her about her rant on the 'mutation'. Yes, she was saying it to make Minami feel a bit better, but a bit of it was also the fact that she believed it at a time. Oh well. That one reply allowed Keianna to learn something about Minami that a normal conversation likely would not have been able to do. "It seems she thought I was looking down on her... At least that's what it seemed like." Keianna thought to herself as she continued listening to Minami's tone change mid speech. "Well that tone is a bit better... Can't say I enjoyed the other one." Keianna continued in her thoughts. Soon the conversation shifted to something else and Keianna was hearing another reply to something she had said. "It was..." she replied to Minami's statement. She wasn't too proud to admit it. She had a hard time keeping up with everything that was thrown at her. Dealing with the death of her father, getting a job, being forced to keep up with training, and keeping up with school all at once was just draining. It was just luck and a bit of genetics that kept her going. Her father did always have that iron will.
And that's when it happened. Minami brought up the point about how she had giggled and smiled in front of her on multiple occasions. Keianna's face turned a soft pink, but she nodded and smiled to her. "Yeah. I do." Keianna said in a sweet tone, "In all honesty, I've never gotten so close to someone so fast. I mean... We did only meet a few hours ago. Though, that's how most people see it happen in the movies. Two people randomly meet, there is an immediate attraction, they do some things together, and everything works out wonderfully. Maybe that's what is happening here? What do you think about all that movie type romance and stuff?" Keianna's entire demeanor softened. She was actually talking like a normal young girl now, not so professional and stiff. She was relaxed.

The tone change was extremely comforting, and Minami felt just a little more attached because of it. Have I...always found girls’ voices this alluring? She honestly wasn’t sure, she may have and just not known it consciously. Her face had no change in tint, if only because the blush had never left her face. She stuttered a bit before responding. I...um...well, I mean I didn’t used to believe in that kinda thing. But...I mean, with what’s happening, I think it might...actually be...true. Never before today have I had such...a hard time getting my words out, and even as nervous as I feel...it feels good. Tell me, what do you feel when you look at me? Minami glanced up and attempted to look Keianna in the eye, but at this point it only made her already red face turn redder. Keianna’s face looked awfully cute to her now. Now that she wasn’t denying the idea she was probably gay, or at least bisexual, she started to see things like this. You have v-very pretty eyes... Unlike Keianna, saying what she felt involved a lot of nervousness and stuttering.

Keianna could not help but smile when Minami began stuttering and stumbling over her own words. It was so cute! Her blush was adorable. Then came the question. She wanted to know what Keianna felt. She didn't even have to think about it. Without any hesitation, Keianna gave her answer. "I can't tell you what I feel because all of it is very new to me... I can tell you what I don't feel..." she said with that same smile, "I don't feel tense. I don't feel depressed, upset, or stressed about anything. I don't feel any pressure. I don't feel insecure. And the one I like the most is..." During this last statement, Keianna actually turned her head away as if she were embarrassed to say it, "... I don't feel alone..." Those were all of the ways that she felt it was best to explain how she felt. It was like everything that bugged her in life or made her feel negatively was gone. Then Minami said something that made Keianna's face become redder. "Th-Thank you." Keianna said to Minami with a small smile, still blushing, "Oh... and just to let you know. You do to. Green is a beautiful eye color." Keianna took the final bite of her food and pushed the plate off to the side, now to only wait for Minami to finish her own. "Is there something you'd like to do after this?" Keianna asked, unsure if she just wanted to sit here and talk or go do something.

Keianna finished her food and set it off to the side. Minami though, had a few bites left when this happened. As she continued to eat, Keianna asked if there was anything she would want to do. As she chewed her food she pondered on it. As the food slid down her throat she looked up. Uhh, well. We could go to the park. There is a lake there that looks pretty neat in the dark, I think. And even if it is dark, considering the security this town has we’ll be safe as long as we stay on the lit pathway. So what do you say? Minami went down and ate the last few bites of her food. She wiped off anything she may have gotten on her mouth with a napkin. She looked back up at Keianna. Or if you don’t like my idea, you can throw something on the table. All I know is I’m enjoying myself and I don’t want to go home just yet.

Once she stopped listing what she felt, Keianna felt a little nervous about what Minami's reply was going to be, but she immediately calmed down when she heard it. She merely smiled and moved on. Food finished and listening to Minami's answer on what they would do next, she agreed. A relaxing walk in the park wouldn't be too bad. She looked off for a moment, glancing outside and immediately being able to tell what time it was just by the position of the sun. It was going on six thirty, maybe seven. They maybe had thirty minutes to an hour till it was completely dark outside. "That's actually not a bad idea." Keianna smiled and looked back to Minami, "I hear the lake is quite beautiful at night. I don't travel their often." Keianna watched contently as Minami finished her food. After she was done, she came back with a statement about Keianna maybe having another idea. "No, I like your idea. It'll be quite relaxing." Since she was done and Minami seemed to be done as well, she stood up and nodded towards the boy they had spoken to before.
"I'll pay for the meal." Keianna stated as she stepped towards the cash register, "I'll meet you at the door when you're ready." Keianna went over and paid for the meal. Keianna paid for the meal without taking no for an answer. She also didn't really give Minami a chance to disagree with her about it. She waved to the boy and walked over to the door to where she assumed Minami would likely be. Opening the door, she stepped off to the side to allow Minami to walk passed her. "Well... Let's get going...." she said as she would begin walking down the street and towards the park.

Making sure to grab all of her things, Minami made her way over to the exit and waited for Keianna. She waited a few moments as Keianna payed and made her way to the door. As usual, Keianna opened the door and allowed Minami to pass through. As the two walked, Minami took the lead this time, for this time she knew where she was going. I love the park personally. Especially at night, it is so peaceful. And if the moon is full, it reflects off the lake water and makes everything pretty. We live in the city so you wouldn’t know it, but the full moon alone can light a person’s path. It’s pretty magical. Minami stopped so Keianna would be able to respond or say something. The two came up to another intersection, still bustling with traffic. If Keianna’s arm shot up to block her again, she’d grab it before it went all the way up. Don’t worry, I won’t just go walking into the street. If it didn’t, she’d say, I’m surprised your arm didn’t shoot up hehe.
Once it was time to go, Minami walked across the street. Not as fast as Keianna usually did, but she by no means took her time. An average pace. Once across, they continued moving straight ahead. The park is still a little ways up. It’ll probably be dark out by the time we get there. One day we should go during sunset. All of those various reds, pinks, purples, and oranges reflecting off the water is beautiful as well. Minami was silent for a bit, giving Keianna a chance to give her opinion or say something. Meanwhile all around them, the city still bustled with life. Minami couldn’t wait to get to the peaceful quiet of the park.

As they walked towards the park, Keianna stayed silent while listening to Minami speak about the moon and water. She merely kept a soft smile on her face the entire time. When she heard Minami stop, she giggled a little. "I do have to agree with you." Keianna said sweetly, "It's too bad we're always in the city. We don't get to see all of the beauty of the stars like we would in the country areas." "The way she said that... was beautiful...." Keianna then thought, towards Minami's statement about the moon lighting up a person's path. Keianna's mind immediately reacted as they came to an intersection. Her arm shot straight up, but apparently Minami had anticipated it. Minami grabbed onto her arm before it could move all the way up and told her not to worry. A small blush came to Keianna's cheeks and she dropped her arm to her side. "I'm sorry about that. I know I don't have to worry about you that much." Keianna said as she turned away, not noticing the implications that her current wording might have on Minami.
Keianna walked along Minami's side, although it was a little slower than she would usually walk. Minami spoke up about the night falling and Keianna nodded. Hearing Minami continue on about the colors the sunset made, she looked up and thought to herself. "We... could still make it if we hurried..." Keianna thought, "But I don't think she can run as fast as me... at least yet. Um... I wonder what her reaction would be if I just picked her up and began darting there... She seems like she'd want to see it." This thought rested on Keianna's mind. She didn't know what to do. She wouldn't mind allowing Minami to see the sunset, but after a few more thoughts she mentally shook her head. "No... We can go another day." she said, coming to that conclusion, but then something came to her mind, "There better not be any of those freaks at the park... Wonder what section she wants to go to..." Keianna looked to Minami, "What part of the park are you wanting to be at? I assumed the lake since you spoke about the water..."
