►Appearance◄ Yuri has long messy black hair when not tended to, he appears to look a bit rough. But due to his current living arrangement's it is of no surprise. He has large dark brown eyes, a couple cuts and scraps on his face. The boy appears to lead a hard life
for an 8 year old. He's been viciously starved, his ribs can be seen at the moment. This may change if the boy gets more food on a regular basis. His clothing is torn in several places, wearing a color around his neck almost as though he was a slave. Their is a large tear in his clothing around the ankles, his feet are bare as he never has owned a pair of shoes.

►Personality◄

Shy: Yuri is shy and will flinch almost every single time someone tries to touch him, he's lead an extremely abused life. The eight year old has been abused and even other things that he is still sad and hurting about. He is extremely shy, the slightest things make his face turn red.

Scared: He's a very scared child and tries to avoid people so often, it's noticed that he flinches at almost every single touch. Not trusting them as though a moment later he be smacked into the ground ruthlessly, his brown eyes show much of this fear and it leaks into children his own age as well. Yuri tends to avoid them as though they were something dangerous.

Artistic: Though frightened and shy, Yuri is an extremely good drawer his foster parents when they had him were extremely angry about the talent. Yuri had cuts and bruises on his hands, he was taken and placed into an orphanage from a young age. In and out, seeming to get every single rotten apple.

Emotional: He's a very emotional child, though he even fears cries before people because they may hurt him more. His family and life has been a twisted on thus far, but he still retains many of his emotions. But seems to be scared of almost everything that comes to his mind.

History

He was born on Christmas, the child was given a cold night as his parents first gift was to send him away. They shipped him to a drug dealer, though it turned out after a couple months with him the Drug Dealer was tired of Yuri. He shipped him to his family.. The Infant never really stayed one place, Yuri had to get food himself in order to live. However he'd be beaten for eating time and time again, each house was the same story. At one house he'd been burnt with cigarettes when he attempted to eat, he got one meal a day. Wasn't much but it kept him alive, sometimes the meal was about a single bite of meat. Other times it was two, Yuri was five at the time when he'd suffered rejection and abuse. He was moved around twelve houses within the Drug Dealer's family by the age of five, this had caused him severe mental pain and agony.

Finally someone kind picked him off the side walk in front of the house with a severe sickness and to the point. He was taken in to child services. He was in and out of bad situations. Before long he just was too scared, running now for what has seemed like a couple years. Yuri draws very beautifully still, but his body is covered in some bandages. Each family for some reason claimed his eyes were something evil and they covered them. Often with bandages, they are shut almost all the time now days.

, The boy isn't strong, nor does he have any powers of super strength or anything else. Truth be told the boy is very defenseless, his eyes and body have always caused him problems. The boy can be found shaking in the snow, freezing and cold. The future is changing, one step at a time.

Powers

Heat Vision: Yuri's power is similar to when you use the sun to burn something through a magnifying glass. The longer the area is stared at the larger the burns become. This power scares him so much, he's taken to wrapping his eyes up, covering them in several layers of bandages. This power, for reasons unknown to Yuri, only effects living creatures. He can look at food and other things without any problems at all. His emotions can also come into play with how quickly his power can hurt someone. If he gets scared or angry, the burning will happen much quicker and some times causes the living thing to spontaneously catch on fire instead of just burn. Although he can only do this to living things, once fire is started it can still spread. It does go through fabrics, but things that are hard, such as rock, steel, and wood, it won't hurt or go through them. For his power to effect something or someone, they have to be within 20 feet of his gaze.
