Relationships: Pescado regards it as unacceptable whenever he is not in any kind of relationship. As such, he tends to go looking for other people and the interests of other people to try to make himself more important to them, even getting to the point of obsessive after a good amount of time. He is good friends with Karkat Vantas as well… and this has merely quadrupled his relationship goals, as now he even regards enemies as possible partners, something that is quite disconcerting to everyone he meets. He has a special kind of relationship with Karkat; he'll go to him for relationship advice, as well as respects Karkat because he believes Karkat's strange gray skin, much like Pescado's own, may also come from the creatures of the deep sea.

Overbearing: Because of what he thinks, he is extremely over bearing. He will obssess over something until he loses his reason to obsess over it; this counts as people as well as concepts. If he thinks you should be his mate, he will not stop his advances until he is literally being shot. Even if anyone else could see something as a lost cause, he never would and he would keep going for it. As such, those he clings to he becomes a heavy burden of. He is extremely, extremely dependent as those he considers important in his life, and often fails to grasp concepts that would be common sense to others. For example, if someone liked something of his on his facebook page, he would immediately ask them out and then feel as if he was misled by their previous action, even though that wasn't what was ever originally meant.

Self-Destructive: He is extremely self -destructive. If you point out his flaws, first he will react try to fix it IMMEDIATELY, overreacting and causing an even greater hassle than if his flaws weren't pointed out in the first place. He'll start to beat himself up about it and sulk in front of the person who pointed out his flaws until its just unbearable to them; ultimately just becoming quiet. Because he either doesn’t fix his problems, or else he begins to shut down and says he's tired. He won't ever try to fix his problems; he'll only blow up about them and then go right back to how he was before. This is the most infuriating part of him; if someone tries giving him proper solutions, even if he trusts them, he'll just start saying he's tired and completely fail to grasp what he was told. In addition, he'll often act as something he is not if he feels it will better himself; and will even begin lying to himself about things if he thinks it will make him feel better.

Fits: When Pescado gets into a fit, watch out. He'll destroy anything around him if he thinks it will hurt other people near him; trying to make them share his often imagined pain. He'll destroy everything and everyone around himself; overreacting to the extreme because of his "unjust" treatment. It's next to impossible to calm him down from this; he'll say that he doesn't care about the consequences anymore, and just acts like something he is not.

Royal Person: He likes to think of himself as a kind of royalty. He regards sea-dwelling sugiura to be more royal and higher up on the social ladder than the land dwelling ones, even going so far as to have disdain for several of the people in power and refusing to become a knight of any kind. He believes they are the "true royalty" and that they will come back into power one day. As such, he will often treat others with complete and utter disdain. In addition, even if he is being told something sensible, he'll use his believed position to make his decision "higher, and therefore better" than the person who is trying to advise him otherwise, even if its something they were trying to do originally and Pescado changed because it was his believed opinion it was not. He will see suggestions against the kind he makes as threats to his royalty and begin to whine about it to other people he knows, just so they think less of the person as a kind of punishment for proving them wrong or daring to think they could be wrong.

Rider: He is an accomplished rider of giant seahorses. Any other kind of transportation makes him sick; but he loves riding seahorses. In addition, he can make almost any seahorse allow him to ride on them, and often rides them into battle with his scarf flowing behind him.

Disbelief of Magic: He loves stories of wands and magic and wizards, but believes that they are not real. After all, magic being real? That's just silly. However, believing this didn't hold him back from making his main weapon a white wand, even if it is through the power of SCIENCE that he uses it on enemies.

Fish: He loves all kinds of fish, in addition to having a kind of wwandering, wwavy accent when he talks and glubs on. He includes many fish and ocean references whenever he speaks, as well as dragging out his double you's whenever he speaks. It is a very flowing speech and often times disguises how negative that he can be.

Rifleman: He is a brilliant crack shot with his magecraft, as well as with his rifle. He is useless with a sword or another close range weapon, but give him a gun and he'll hit his target. Granted, he'll also blow up the gun in most cases and make himself depressed, but he will almost always hit his target. He has great faith in this ability, and seeing others doing it causes him to want to challenge them and show his superiority. However, if he is beaten, he believes it has happened through some kind of dishonesty, unless it is someone he respects, at which point he begins to beat himself up over it.

Belief and Change: If he has one redeeming quality, it is the massive amounts of faith and trust that he has. Even if it is poorly placed, when he believes in a cause or a mission or a person, he'll follow it through to the very end. That, or until he thinks its betrayed him. If he thinks this, then he automatically abandons all relation to it, slandering it as he abandons it and looking for something better, regardless of how much he followed that thing before.

Disliked: He is not very well liked. He blames this on other people, and as such for the most part has disdain for others, except for a select few that he looks up to. Then there are those he considers equals, or in his mind just barely under him in the authority scale. For everything, he does have a bit of an ego; he can be extremely, extremely stubborn about some things as explained above.

Likes: Water, Swimming, Riding big Seahorses, kelp sandwiches, shooting, hunting, those he looks up to

Dislikes: Everyone else, running, having to use short ranged weapons, and the lower echelons of society.

Animalistic Traits: It is unknown what kind of deep sea creature that Pescado gets his traits from; however, he does have animal traits around his face. On either side of his face are a pair of what looks like fins, that have lost their function and purpose but are still there. Therer is also his horns, and his tuft of purple hair that rises at the front of his head.

Magecraft Unleashed

Magecraft:

Pale Lightning Craft: This is the "magic" that Pescado weilds, which he refers to as a miracle of sciene. After all, magic isn't real. This unique craft allows him to channel hs energy into various objects, as long as they meet a certain set of conditions; such that, when he releases power from the object, it releases a massive burst of what looks like a cero but has the movement patterns of electricity, darting about how he directs.

The conditions of creation of a weapon that Pescado must adhere to so that he can perform his craft are as follows. Firstly, the object must be completely pale in color. In simple terms, this normally means white; however, there can be more to it than that. If he were to use something that was pale red, for example, it is concievable that he would be able to weaponize it. This also means that for the mosto part, he cannot use is own body to perform his craft, he must have a tool to perform it through. The second rule is that the objet must not have any spiritual power of its own. This means that in theory, Pescado could weaponize an entire building to fire off a blast, but not a holy white blade.

The nature of the blasts are fantastic. When fired, they shooot through the air, darting all around until Pescado guides them towards his target. For him to guide the shot, however, his eyes must trail the end of the blast as it goes through the air at his target, meaning that he has trained himself to memorize where specific locations are relative to his own sight even before launching an attack. In addition, Pescado has a large energy supply, meaning that he can fire blast after blast with relative ease, although he's typically exhausted after a long battle.

However, most of the time, he uses his [slash]magic[/slash] Scientific Wand. This wand is pure white in color, as It was created from the elements of nature, combining such that blah blah blah (unimportant blathering about mixing of sugiuran energy and weasels through SCIENCE) white wand that can take a whole lot of abuse without breaking, basically. It is able to handle Pescado's massive energy releasing fits, which he has frequently, and is still able to endure under the stress. As such, it is his preferred weapon.

OF SCIENCE!!!

Moby's ----: This gun, with a word of its name lost to the eternities of time, is Pescado's heavy duty-looking weapon. His wand can actually fire more energy out at once, but Moby's is shaped like an actual rifle. It looks like a harpoon gun in shape, that can be carried around easily, but it does not shoot harpoons. It shoots lasers. Although, it can actually shoot a laser-propelled harpoon, complete with rope that allows Pescado to get around easily and use to repel as well. It is blue in color, and is 4 feet long. It also has a large scope on it that helps Pescado follow the line of his laser. When it is firing normal lasers, it shoots the bolts from the harpoon's tip. The line the harpoon is made of is extremely durable; however, it can be broken by a high level attack. The same is true of the harpoon itself, although the gun that fires the bolts is extremely hard to break. It is made of blue obsidian, found very deep in the ocean; and interestingly, the butt looks like a seahorse with its tail going over the user's shoulder.

Other Abilities

Water Breathing: The special fin like objects on either side of Pescado's face allows him to breathe underwater, serving as gills. In addition, Pescado moves much faster underwater, moving at almost shunpo like while he is underneath it.

Animal Communion: Anything with gills, Pescado is able to access the mind of. He does this by secreting a special liquid from the sides of his face, and this secretion goes into the gills of the water breather. If the creature has high enough intelligence to realize its actions are no longer being controlled by it, it is able to break free of the control. Additionally interesting, Pescado has a special pet seahorse that follows him at all times, and is also able to fly through the air as easily as it moves underwater. It is roughly as tall as Pescado is, and has no other abilities.

Past & Roleplay Sample

Character Background:

Awoken: When he first became clear to himself as a being, first had a conscious, he was alone. All alone; except for the strange seahorse beneath him, carrying him around the world's oceans. He never knew his parents, never knew where he was born; just always riding his seahorse in the very, very deep parts of the Earth's oceans. He to this day has no idea how he got down there or why he was there, but it has played a large part in his emotional development and maturity. Or lack thereof.

Young Life: As he grew up, he began to train the seahorse. The seahorse began to bend to his will, being broken in before Pescado made it surface. Immediately he was stunned by the extremely bright light, in the sugiuran lands. He soon stumbled upon land dwellers, barely able to see until they gave him his glasses. He also found himself to be extremely cold in above place, and they also gave him his special scarf. From there, he began to grow up, truly.

Magic Isn't Real: He gained an obsession with magic after he first reached the sugiuran lands, believing what his mentor who adopted him told him. His mentor was also a dweller of the sea, who told him that all "magic" was truly just science, and that there wasn't anything such as actual magic. He also made hints that Pescado was worth more than his peers, leading Pescado to one day believe that he was more worthy, higher up than most of the other Sugiura.

Destiny: However, his mentor eventually died. When this happened, Pescado decided to perfect his science, creating his magic wand and finding the ancient relic, Moby's ----. He was quite depressed that he could not find what the other word was, but over time got over his depression. He furthered his beliefs and sciences, bringing him to the present day...

Current Day: He an extremely trained rifleman and rider, with very certain beliefs, even if they are not necessarily correct.
