This was something that Amelia had not expected at all. Her sweet little innocent White Tiger Cub, Shiro, was emitting an energy that she didn't think he had. She was currently on the opposite side of the lab, laying down and getting some rest while Doctor Hebi was out when it all started. From where she was, she was unable to see what was actually going on, but she could tell that it wasn't good. After a few minutes of just sitting there and and sensing this strange energy, it suddenly died down and began hurrying off. She heard a loud clanking sound and then sensed that Shiro was running. And what shocked Amelia is that she sensed him actually exiting the lab. "Oh no... Is that even possible?" she thought to herself as she jumped up from her spot on the floor and ran as fast as she could over to the scene. She wasn't expecting for anything to be along the floor, so she wasn't paying that much attention and tripped over something, causing herself to tumble to the floor. "Ow..." she said as she rubbed her side and looked back to see what she tripped on. Her eyes widened and she really wanted to scream, but slapped a hand over her mouth.

"Oh my gosh... How is this possible?!" Amelia thought to herself as she pushed herself back to her feet. She backed away from what was one of Hebi's Selves after being killed by what she thought was ice. She accidentally tripped on something else and looked back to see that there was yet another dead Selve right there. Her eyes widened and she got up once more, looking around until she saw that they were all dead. "Shiro... what have you done?" she thought to herself when she realized that he was still out of the lab. She walked around, her arms curled into her chest as she went out of her way to avoid the bodies that lay around her. She came to a vent and realized that it was probably the loud clank that she had heard because the cover was off. It was much larger than the first vent that little Shiro had come through and she knew she would be able to fit. "He's... doing this on purpose..." she thought. She was slightly saddened by it, but at the same time kind of happy. Shiro cared a lot about her and wanted her to be able to go outside. He knew that she would not leave Hebi, but a trip outside while he was gone might not be too bad.

Amelia went over to the vent and laid down, pushing herself through on her stomach. She followed the path that she could sense Shiro had gone through. After maybe two minutes, she saw the light at the end of the tunnel and hurried a bit faster. As she came to the outside, she squinted her eyes as the sun shined down at her. Her eyes had to adjust and took a few seconds to do so. She looked around and smiled when she saw Shiro sitting on a log and staring at her with a cute smile on his face. She could only smile back at him. "You know, you're probably gonna get in trouble for that mess you made back there." She said to him with a smile, but he didn't care about it. He turned away and ran off, knowing that she would follow. "Shiro!" she called out to him and began chasing him. Shiro ran and ran for quite a while and Amelia was not slowing down. The little cub was fast for his small size.

After a while he finally stopped running and Amelia stopped to try and catch her breath. "S-top.. running... n-now please." She said between breaths and he smiled up at her. She smiled back and then looked around. At first they had been running through a lot of trees through a large forest, but now they had come to a small clearing. At this moment, they stood at the top of a waterfall, looking down to a lake that it fell into. "Wow..." she thought as she took in the wonderful scenery. Shiro suddenly jumped over this small cliff and into the water. Amelia tried catching him, "Shiro!", but he was a little too quick. As he landed in the water, he came back up and showed her that it was okay. Amelia blinked a few times and then nodded, "All right.. JUST this once. I don't want Doctor Hebi thinking I am going to leave him..." She said and then backed up, only to run forward and off of the cliff, landing in the water below. There were no rocks that she had to worry about, which made her happy. As she came up, she seemed to automatically know how to swim rather fast and came over to Shiro, hugging him as the small cub snuggled it's fur face against her.

That... was... not good... The Doctor thought to himself, as he finally, finally got back to his lab. He had just finished doing combat with a monster unlike anything he had ever seen before. It had all these monstrous threads, was unable to be damaged by anything the Doctor did, and threw Nukes around like no one's business.

He walked into his lab, and his eyes immediately narrowed. Oh... no... no... no no no no no. His eyes saw it, but his mind didn't want to believe it as he sighed. He pulled out his summoning scroll, before cursing aloud; he was extremely low on energy and could not summon back Amelia immediately, as he finally spotted the vent that had its cover off. He felt his body changing as without his cloak, he was able to easily slip onto his stomach and slither his entire body, moving effortlessly through the vent towards his subject. She could very well already be dead... curse that cat. It's going to make me lose my research subject. He thought, greatly annoyed as he slithered through the vental systems, heading towards the two...

A Snakehearted Experiment: Momentary Escape [Closed] Ragna-stance

WHAT IS THIS?

The Arrancar-Ziamichi thought to himself as he stood at the bottom of the falls, a large smile on his face. His white, chin length spiky hair blew in the wind as his black cloak with red clouds followed the same route as his hair. Right in front of him, he had watched as first a white cat, and then a small girl fell into the water before him. He looked at them, a smile coming along his face. This kill will be for ME... all for ME... Sorry Lord Jashin. He thought, licking his lips as he thought about the blood that he would spill. His own, that was.

Justin could sense it; this girl was the same thing as the weird Doc that lived under the base and called him “Peter”. As a fellow member of the Akatsuki, Justin was free to go where he desired; and he had been so lucky as to fall upon such EASY prey. He stopped for a moment, thinking as he adjusted that statement. After all, he could sense a good amount of power from the girl. However, he could also tell that she didn't know how to use it; that was clear by how rampantly it coursed around her.

The man smiled as he suddenly shot out, reappearing in the water before Amelia with a sonido, that crazy smile on his face as his right hand whipped out, grabbing her roughly by the neck in an instant as he shot towards the cliff where the waterfall was. He smashed into the waterfall, as the water parted around them. He looked at her, smiling as the nails of her fingers most likely tried to stab him. That only relaxed him more as he held his blade, Breaker, over his head, causing the water to part even more as he looked down at her, that crazy look still on his face. Aw, c'mon... you can't be THIS easy to catch... He thought to himself as he edged his face closer to hers for a few seconds, that crazy grin on his face, his blade held high and ready to strike her down...

Amelia wasn't even aware of another's presence, nor was she really concentrating enough to realize that Doctor Hebi had returned to the lab. She was having fun in the water, smiling a she watched little Shiro swim around. Out of no where, someone appeared next to her. She blinked a single time and then smiled rather sweetly to him, not realizing that this man was the enemy. "Hel-..." her greeting was cut short when suddenly he grabbed her neck and pushed her through the water fall, causing it to part. Her eyes widened in utter horror as she raised her hands upwards and pressed them against the males chest as if to attempt to push him away. She struggled, but her strength was obviously no match to this man. She didn't know if she had any either, so it's not like it would help much. Instead of using her nails or anything like that, she thought of one thing she knew she had that did damage when she used it. Her tail.

As he brought up his large sword, her eyes widened even more and she brought her hands to his wrist to try and pry it off. At the same time, her tail removed itself from where it usually sat (around her waist) and swung as quickly as it could towards the arm of her attacker, attempting to cut it off so she would drop back into the water. At this time, a panicking Shiro was swimming back to the shore and immediately ran towards the lab. Unlike Amelia, he was able to sense the Doctor's return and knew he was the only one that could fight this monster. He only hoped that he got there in time. As he came to the vent, he stopped when he saw Hebi coming through and began hopping around in a panicking motion. "Hurry, hurry, hurry! Amelia! That man is hurting her! He's going to kill her!"

The man blinked, seeing a tail on her. ”You really ARE like the Doc, Aren'tcha, missy?” He asked her, wondering what she was planning to do with it... before he cursed aloud, as the tail removed his hand from the rest of his arm.

”B!$#@!@$!#@$!#@$!@$!@$!@$#!@#$!@$!@$!@$!@#$!# $!$!@$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Justin cried out as he felt the pain of his hand completely separated from his body, his blood splattering all over Amelia's mouth and upper chest area, the blood splattering right through her cloak as it was designed to. He winced as he brought his blade down, his eyes screaming murder...

As the Doctor appeared right in front of Amelia, holding one of her hands as so not to lose her and his other hand firing up as a huge pillow of snakes appeared, the huge sword slamming into the snakes as they almost seemed to DEFLATE before Amelia and Dr. Hebi, before several of them died, falling away as Dr. Hebi looked at Justin.

”Peter. Leave. Now.”

”But My sacrifi-”

”Now.”

As the Doctor said this, his eyes made contact with Justin's. Instantly, the sheer aggressiveness of the aura he was giving off made even the insane Justin stop and pause for a moment, looking the Doctor over before finally turning his back to him. ”Fine, Doc. But If I ever see her pretty little tail out here again...” Justin thought to himself, as with a smile and then a hop skip and a jump, he was going away, away, away from them...

As Dr. Hebi turned around, grabbing onto Amelia's other wrist as he looked at her, holding onto the rock wall of the water fall himself this time, not as hard as to inflict pain, but enough to hold her there firmly, as he looked Amelia up and down. ”You're unharmed. Good.” The Doctor said, as his face came up to hers once more, looking her right in the eyes. ”Do not leave the lab without permission again. I was worried I was going to lose you.” He said, concern in his eyes. Granted, it was concern for the experiment that he had made out of her; but it was still technically concern for her, as he blinked, waiting a few moments as he looked at her and allowing the watefall to clean her of the blood Justin had spilt all over her front...

“Like the Doc? Does he know Hebi?” she thought to ask him, but changed her mind when watching him. Her eyes widened even more. She was confused to what he meant and he was scaring her a lot. Her body had begun to tremble once he had begun to yell in pain. She had not meant to cut it off, it was more like reflex. “I'm sorry!” She screamed as she raised her arms to protect herself. As if that was going to help against an opponent such as him. As he acted as he was going to attack her with his sword, she covered her head with her arms and screamed in her mind, “HEBI!”

Amelia looked up when nothing happened and felt someone grab her hand. When she saw that it was Hebi, she truly felt thankful. She glanced back and forth between the two of them after Hebi had used his snakes to prevent this man from attacking her. “Peter...?” Amelia thought as Hebi told her to leave and knew she would remember his name. As Peter left and Doctor Hebi looked to her, Amelia felt her heart sink as she saw the concern in his eyes. She felt so guilty for leaving the lab now. As the water came falling down onto her face to wash the blood off, it successfully hid the tears that were now falling down her face. She had thought she was going to die. She did not expect him to come and save her, and yet his name was the one she thought of when she felt the end was near. This really only confirmed her thoughts about the feelings she had been feeling towards him.

“I'm... s-sorry...” she mumbled, looking down as the water from the falls splashed down onto the back of her head. She stared downwards toward the lake below and closed her eyes in shame. “I'm.. so sorry...” At the moment she was being held up by her wrists so she couldn't do much more. She only waited for Hebi to tell her what to do now. She hadn't even noticed that he was sorta drained and beaten up yet. She would once they got out of the water though.

-Doctor Kabuto Hebi-
”Apologies... mean nothing, only actions will show you mean what you say.”

The Doctor told her, as he squeezed either arm to make sure his message had gotten across to the girl that he was holding to the stone wall. He grabbed her and pulled her forwards, into himself, as he released his levitation... falling back into the water, this time with her holding him down, as she was still on the water's surface.

The Doctor decided to speak into her mind, merely blinking up at her as bubbles went up from the sides of his mouth. I want you... to do some testing. Try using your water element... and raising a pillar of water. The Doctor told her. It was interesting, he thought; even though she had done this thing, it was highly likely this would encourage her to listen more to what he said, and increase the odds of her doing everything she could to complete his wishes. Right now, he just wanted to test her combat abilities. So... after this... I'll have her do combat... with me. He thought to himself, knowing just how eager he was for this test. After all...

There was a good chance it would cause her the stress necessary to make her like she had been before... something that had greatly interested the doctor. He hadn't any reason for why it had left so suddenly; although he knew the reason it had come in the first place. It was under the stress of him calling her a liar; it was strange, so very strange, but that was what triggered it. So, while they fought... he would press on that. He would make her release her full fury on him... and maybe show herself just what she could do now. It would be of interest to see if she was horrified or enlightened with her new abilities. The doctor could hardly wait, he thought to himself, as he floated in the water with a now benevolent smile on his face, looking straight up at Amelia...

Amelia merely nodded to him. He was right. She was going to have to prove that she was sorry for what she did through actions. Words were meaningless at times, and she assumed this was one of them. As she was pulled into him and they dropped down into the water, she blinked a few times, wiping the water from her face every time more got on, obviously not realizing it was useless if she kept going right back under. It seemed she was using him as some sort of flotation device!!! She looked down to him, for some reason her cheeks began to heat up and she could tell she was blushing, but she ignored it. Looking away, she listened to what he wanted and immediately panicked. He wanted her to life a pillar of water. "Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no! How am I going to do that? I still... I still don't know how to bring out my own power..." she thought to herself, the look on her face showing the worry she felt. "I feel so stupid... I can't even look at him now..." She lowered her head, still looking away from him. She felt ashamed. After what she had just did to make him worry and she still didn't know how to use her power.

"I-I'll... try..." she said in a lower whisper. Last time she had done anything with moving water was during the experiment. She saw that the water had come in through the walls and was utterly shocked. She had no idea she could control it so well or that much. To bring it from the surface and down through the walls of the lab was definitely impressive on her standards. Now she had to do it on her own and the only thing she was worried about was disappointing Doctor Hebi. She closed her eyes and relaxed. By doing this, she allowed her body to relax and her head lowered onto Doctor Hebi's chest. "I need to make of pillar of water..." she thought and tried to imagine it in her head. She kept hearing a strange beating sound and realized that it was Doctor Hebi's heart. "Well that's new... I've never heard a heart like that..." she said out loud without realizing it, "Shows how unique he really is." A sweet smile formed on her face and she began to giggle.

Listening to his heart, imagining the pillar of water, AND being in water at the same time was definitely taking it's toll on her mental state. She was becoming ridiculously relaxed and actually began to fade into unconsciousness. While her consciousness faded away and she began to fall asleep, the water beneath them began to shift and lift them higher into the air. Although it wasn't very quickly, after thirty seconds, the entire lake was half way empty as most of the water was now in the pillar. "Wait... I'm supposed to be... Oh no!" she broke her train of thought and opened her eyes. She looked around and only for a brief moment did the two of them stay into the air. The water began to drop and unless Doctor Hebi stopped them, they began falling with the water and into the lake.

He wondered why she kept trying to wipe the water from her face; after all, this was her native element... was well as one of the elements that the Doctor himself could not manipulate. He did not care that she was using him as a flotation device; as it was, this allowed him to view her directly and observe what she did.

He knew he would pretty much allow her to do whatever she needed to to activate her abilttieis. He saw the worry in her eyes, raising an eyebrow as if wondering what exactly she was thinking, before she whispered to him. He felt her entire body on top of him relaxing into him, as her head rested onto his own chest. The threads of his cloak moved themselves, and he felt her cheek against his plain skin, the threads of her wet hair all over him, mixing with his cloak's threads.

It shall not be unique for much longer... Your heart will sound like that too.. soon... The doctor promised, his eyes still focused on Amelia, speaking to her through the mind link. And then she smiled at him and began giggling. He realized she was acting that strangeness that he himself could not understand once again, that thing that had no fear of him or what he was whatsoever, calm in his presence, as he felt her relaxation trying to infect him and make him drowsy.

However... he resisted the temptation as he felt the water around them shifting, as he smiled to himself. They kept going higher and higher as he realized that a huge amount of the water had rosen up with them, before he felt her shifting from her place of rest on his form. Then, the water stopped supporting them. He felt as his arms wrapped around her, holding her to himself as snakes, four of them, shot out around her, binding her to himself as he looked at her, feeling the wind whipping around his body as they fell down. He didn't really do it on purpose; but he had understood something on a primal level. She was like him... she was approachable... and in this cold wind... she was warm, as his snakes wrapped snugly around her, and held her to himself, as he looked at her.

He himself could not believe this; he had never felt this way before. It was as if there was a huge dam in his mind, filled with water and pushing, pushing and pushing at his mind, as he looked down at her, the two of them falling slowly with the water all around them as his eyes captured hers. ”...You are warm.” The Doctor said simply, his normal amused smile gone as he gave her a curious, plain look. He was curious, as his body ahd never felt this way about another creature before, for the need to embrace them and hold them to himself. He could feel Hebi below himself, curling around Amelia's tail below them, as they continued to fall...

Amelia practically latched onto Doctor Hebi as they fell. She hadn't even realized that she was using her power. She was just so relaxed and had been imagining it. The fact that they had been brought so high startled her. She could see over all of the trees in the area and farther. It wasn't something that she thought she could ever do by relaxing. She felt Doctor Hebi wrap his snakes around her and felt like she would be safe. She relaxed just a bit, the wind roaring passed them as they continued to fall. Then she heard something she never thought she would hear, especially from Doctor Hebi.

"You are warm."

The words he spoke caused her to look straight up to him. She didn't know what it was, but Amelia was drawn to him in a way that she didn't understand at that moment. Bringing her right hand up to the side of his face, she brought herself forward and without really thinking, she satisfied her own want and need. She pressed her lips against his in a soft kiss. She had thought about it many times before, but never had the courage to do it. As her lips met his, her heart sped up in excitement. She wasn't even worried about whether he would react negatively to this. It was just something that she desperately wanted and finally went for. SPLASH! In the middle of the kiss, the fall that felt like an eternity finally ended and they fell into the lake, and finally their lips parted. She wanted to push that kiss further, but was unsure on whether Doctor Hebi would like that or not. It may have only lasted a second or two, but Amelia loved it. She loved him and hoped that this little gesture would show that.

As he saw her looking right up at him, his eyes blinked at hers, slits on eyes that were nearly slits. He looked at her hand as it touched the side of his face, and for the first time felt that she wasn't attacking him; as even her hand felt warm on the side of his face, as he was drawn towards her, her lips connecting with his as his eyes widened immediately, and his pupils began to shake in his eyes.

Within his mind, the mental dam he had built suddenly seemed to warp, as in its very center, a huge crack appeared. It made itself known as it spread all over the mental block in his mind, as stunned, the power finally over flowed what he felt, as Dr. Hebi's righthand came up to the back of her head, pulling her and holding her to himself.

As they hit the water, there was a sudden shift. Dr. Hebi's hand pushed Amelia's face back to his own, as he kissed her back, his eyes closed now, holding it for a few moments before seperating, letting out a hot breath as he opened his eyes, blinking at her. ”My name is Kabuto Hebi... Yin. And thank you for waking me up, little Amelia.” He said, speaking her name as a smile came to his face, as his snakes fell off of him, to the water below, Yin discarding them as Mu's power overwhelmed around the both of them, suspending them up into the air, as Yin hugged her to himself tightly.

”And, Little Amelia, unlike the owner of this body... I do care for you. And I am sorry for all the hurt I have sent you through. And while you are here, in my arms... I will protect you.”
