K. A.'s Horrible Day [Closed]

A small smile moved onto her lips. Kanna opened her eyes and looked up to him through the strands of her hair. "Sometimes... it's strange to know that this man says that he loves me... but right now... I'm thankful for it." She took in a quiet breath and reached up to touch the side of his face. Although this would be similar to before, when she was testing his reactions, she wasn't doing this because of that. She really just wanted to touch him. Kanna was even debating on whether she should ask something of him right now. She wanted to, but would he reject her? It's not like she has replied to his confession of love. For a while now, she has left him in the dark about her own feelings towards him, and she still did not know whether she was brave enough to tell him her conclusion. Never before had she held back information. She usually considered holding back information a lie, but right now she was afraid to come out and say it to him. Keeping her eyes on him, she sat up and went to lay correctly on the bed. Before she was laying sideways, but now normally.

"Snopy..." she moved her hair out of the way of her eyes as her head hit the pillow, "I..." She stopped speaking because she choked up. She looked away from him. She couldn't say it, but she could show it. She sat up once more and grabbed onto his lower arm. She pulled him towards her and held onto him, laying back down onto the bed. She was nervous, and he would be able to tell by her trembling arms as she held him close. Still, she attempted to say it, but she could not, so she stayed silent until she received his reaction to her current actions.

Snopy looked down on her as Kanna began to smile just a little. He watched as she brought her hand to his face and touched it. This had been similar to previously, but the effect was no different. Snopy began to blush and his heart skipped a beat. Yet he was a little more in control of himself. He lifted up his hand and touched it to hers. He didn't move hers, just put his on top of it. Even though Snopy did this by choice, this made him turn even redder and his heart picked up the pace. Then Kanna sat up on the bed, her eyes seemed to be locked on him. She moved the hair out of her eyes as she said his name. There was a slight pause before she fell back and her head hit the pillow. She tried to continue but it seemed she couldn't get it out. Snopy's heart was beating faster, he wondered what she was trying to say. He knew what it sounded like, and he hoped that's what it was.

He was unprepared for her next action. She suddenly she sat back up and grabbed onto his arm. She pulled him back down with her, before wrapping her arms around him and holding him tightly. His eyes widened. He was now lying on the bed pressed up against her. He couldn't believe where this had gone. His heart was beating as fast as it could. He sat motionless for a moment as everything sank in. Once it did though, he made a response. He lifted his arms and wrapped them around her best he could, holding her tightly. He moved a bit as he pressed his body into hers. He knew he loved her, and it seemed like she was trying to say it back. As such, he simply acted as he would to someone he loves, since it seemed she might feel the same way.

Kanna was completely relaxed now. It was like she had finally let go of something and was free to do, say, and feel whatever she wished. When he wrapped his arms around her and pressed himself closer, she could only smile. She wasn't even shy about it. She wasn't blushing, nor was her heart speeding up. She felt completely at peace. She really was just relaxed and happy. She took in a long breath and slowly let it out. She felt her eyelids becoming heavier. She was tired. With everything that happened today, she was completely beat. She felt that the only thing that was keeping her going mentally and emotionally was the man she couldn't let go of right now. She raised her hand to run her fingers through his hair and gently alone his scalp. This really only made her even more relaxed. She blinked once, and everything began to calm around her. She had to say it.

"Snopy.... I should... have said something... before...." she said through calm breaths as she fought to keep herself from falling sleep. It was getting harder for her to stay awake with every second that passed. "I do... I want.. to say it now... That I... I lo-..." Her head dropped her arms went limp, and the tired woman fell asleep before completing the sentence. Snopy was an intelligent man. He would be able to figure it out, but at the same time, she knew he would want to here it from her own lips. For now... she slept.

As Snopy held her, he could tell she was at peace. As they held each other, he could feel her begin to relax, and her arms were no longer shaking. He felt as her hand went through his hair. Looking into her eyes, he could tell she was sleepy. He himself started to relax a bit. His heart slowed down to a more normal pace, and his face was no longer beet red. It seemed that seeing her relax was all he needed to become calm himself. The happiness he felt was immense at the moment. Here he was, tightly holding the woman he fell in love with, pressing her against his body. It was extremely comfortable, it was one of the best feelings he had ever experienced in his life.

As she began to speak he looked towards her and listened. He heard her words, and his heart skipped another beat. It sounded like she might say it, Snopy hoped that's what it was. Her words were spaced out, she really was tired. I do... I want.. to say it now... That I... I lo-... Snopy's eyes widened as she fell asleep before finishing. He couldn't believe it, she was about to say it. She accidentally fallen asleep mid-sentence. However, his expression returned to normal quickly. He knew what she tried to say, and he knew she would say it once she was awake. He sighed as he continued to hold her. Kanna's grip had loosened, but they were still pressed against each other since he was still holding her.

Even with Kanna asleep, he was still happy. He looked at her face. Snopy was even a little shocked at how cute she looked asleep, of course maybe he only thought that because he loved her. He sat for awhile, just holding her. He wasn't keeping track of time, but he knew a lot was passing. It seemed he would be spending the night here. Snopy knew what people might think if they were caught, but he could care less. There was nothing wrong with it. On top of that, he had promised he wouldn't leave her, and he meant it. He didn't even want to imagine what she would feel if she woke up and he wasn't there after everything that happened.

It was rather late and it had been awhile since Kanna fell asleep. He had not been tired before, but slowly his energy reserves had exhausted themselves. He loosened his grip on Kanna a bit, seeing as he was just that tired. He looked at her one last time, and smiled a bit. He leaned in a bit and kissed her cheek gently before letting go of her. He rolled onto his back and stared at the ceiling for awhile, before he finally drifted off. He was still close to Kanna, one of her arms had never fully left his body and was stretched across to the other side of him. The way he had moved her head was almost touching his. It never crossed Snopy's mind about what it meant that they were now sleeping in the same bed. Perhaps it was because by the time he realized he would be sleeping on the bed he was too tired to notice. Maybe when he woke up he would realize what it meant, but for now he slept soundly.
