A Captain among Hollows
Wed Jul 11, 2012 10:45 pm
Jaeden had taken the job of a well one of his underlings who'd come down with a cold and well here's how it all began, Jaeden was supposed to find a simple answer to the large number of hollows and what seemed to be spawning them at this point in the outskirts. He'd already activated his suppression move and well, was watching but it didn't seem like he'd get to play on the sidelines for a longer period, it appeared that he was gonna have to bring himself into play. Pity though he didn't want to do this as it stood, this was a terrible idea and he hated this whole job he'd been given.
The dawn hour was nearly dead and well the Captain of the 8th had a seal on him at the moment, because well the big bad Captains and Vices couldn't come here without them. So lucky for the hollows, numbering to about 30 their would be a weaker Crow. He sighed as he pulled Seiryu from his belt, this would pry require a Shikai. Which he didn't want to release in this world as it was. Perhaps something else he could do. Optical illusions would effect them well enough, but 30 on 1 would take far to much time.
He'd yet to draw the sword, rubbing his jaw with his free hand observing them now. They'd yet to attack or do anything truly odd, but the Captain was hiding and watching. He decided an extra precaution was needed. Activating Kyokko around him Jaeden's form and energy went to an absolute vanish, even the best trained sensor's couldn't find him now. His eyes remained keenly on the hollows, pondering choices before he decided to simply turn them into ash.

It was almost time to act, jaeden hadn't come across anything interesting yet. His hand came up cupping the scar on his face, Jaeden was a battle hardened warrior. But this was a hollow infestation that had a couple Menos and things in it. He didn't care about this 30 on 1 odds. He'd seen far worse, he'd been wounded destroying the Zaraki District. Some of his squad mates their called him a brave man, he fought holding a child in one hand. The child not pleased had been biting him, it didn't realize Jaeden was rescuing the girl from that fate. The letters he'd obtained from her family and her gave a deep sorrowful apology. Truthfully speaking things had gone a tad lout of whack with that mission, he'd not been planning on a failure like that for his first task.
The scene changed now, the visage of lighting, brightening the horizon. Thunder's echo rolling in the ear for what seemed forever. Seiryu was pushing his nose against the chest of Jaeden, who still had his scar cupped. Resting his head on the large Dragon's head, Jaeden's eyes remained shut as he got ready. Time was up and here we go was all he could think, storms would brew and well if he wasn't careful this outskirts would be a mess.

The sky was screaming, the clouds were crying and the air was filled with death. The intensity of battle once again tried to burst it's way into Karakura Central's doors. However, this would not occur under the watch of this cities self-proclaimed savior: Shadin Yuudeshi. The instant that these creatures had began banging on the walls of the infamous Karakura City barrier, the Yuudeshi Network began to sound out distress signals for someone, anyone, to deal with this threat. Thus, in a wild turn of events, one of the strongest possible beings in Karakura, if not the world, had answered it's call. "Oi, when will these shitheads learn that you will never be able to pass this barrier? Even if you assholes are able to get pass it, you'll end up being mauled my fangs." Spoke a voice nearby The Captain. As the footsteps began to get closer to the scene of the battle, a rather slender looking man had emerged from the shadow's with a maddening grin seen across his lips as he welcomed the pleasure of slaughtering these worthless chunks of hollow blood.
Now, being put on display for all to see, it was easier to see what this almost legendary man had looked like. The first things to be noticed was that most of his clothing was heavily color coordinated. From his jet black colored boots, to his near skin tight jeans that were as dark as charcoal and finally to his long sleeved shirt that was white in color; having dull grey stripes to go with this man's pale-like figure. Thus, with the wind beginning to twist, whip and turn around the area; his lengthy, silver hair had began to blow heavily in the breeze. Adjusting his head upwards in the direction of a group of Menos taking formation in the air above him, his dark red eyes gleamed with excitement to once again draw blood on the battlefield. "Alright assholes, here is the offer I'm going to lay out on the table for disturbing my humble little home I call Karakura Central. From this point onward, I'm going to beat the shit out of every single last one of you and make you regret ever attacking this city even after being sent to the next life. Deal?"
Cracking his neck a bit, he'd then begin to let a simple serge of his daunting spiritual energy slip from his body as a brief bright glow emitted from his body. Although this wasn't even close to being a tenth of his collection of power, it was enough to make others around him think twice about assaulting him. Since, during this release of his spiritual energy, it was enough in order to make all of the rain around Shadin evaporate nearly instantly, a few rouge hollow's would most likely disintegrate into cinders; while others in the area may fall gasping for the very oxygen they breathe around Shadin should they be an enemy, ultimately meaning that the Captain-Like figure the Yuudeshi Network had noticed in the area would be shielded from these facts and lastly almost every being within this area would be granted the treat of getting a glimpse of how much power Shadin had internally, as, for a few moments, he would let others peer into his immense core of energy that had enough resources to possibly bring the world screeching to a halt if this man had ever decided to become a threat to society.
"I ain't sure what you are doing hiding around from a pathetic lot like this, but it looks like I'm going to make your job here on Earth about one hundred times more easier." Nudging his head back to wherever Jaden Crow had happened to be, Shadin had directed this comment towards him to make sure he knew this was simply an ally handling business. "From this point onward, you all are on a one way path towards The Mind of God. Nothing shall remain in the wake of it's power: begone!" And with those words said, Shadin's grin had reached near psychotic levels as he was ready to unleash a devastating barrage of power on these unfortunate souls. When the thunder struck, the fangs of The Beast of Karakrua extended as he directed a massive bolt of lightning down towards the vicinity that possessed enough strength to easily surpass a Gran Ray Cero by tapping into the supply of natural electricity from the thunderstorm, augmenting somewhat with his own supernatural lightning and then unleashing it across the battlefield.
Thus, as it stuck down, the initial strike would attempt to smite a pack of ten to fifteen hollow's standing in the center. Surmising that these beast were probably no match for him with their gap in power, this lightning should have been more then enough to reduce them to charred remains; while producing a two hundred meter wide crater in it's wake that would serve to contain the immense storm of electricity that had reached the ground. Pointing his index and middle finger upwards, Shadin would have the explosion of electricity extend in almost every direction in the form of snarling cheetah heads. So, in a matter of seconds, dozens of lightning burst in the shape of a cheetah's head had began to extend from the crater; going onward to try and consume the Meno's scum above him and any other remaining hollow's. Thus, if this move were successful, the cheetah heads would attempt to digest the prey they had just consumed and explode in a massive explosion of energy and electricity to hopefully reduce all the threats to nothing.
However, based on the reports he had tapped into from the Yudueshi Network being synced with the Gotei 13's database, Shadin had made an effort in order to make sure that only the brains of the Meno's and Hollow he had attacked would remain when this attack was over. You see, before dealing the final blows, Shadin would attempt to guide the flow of his energy within these creatures upon his attacks making contact to hopefully send immense amounts of pressure inside of their skulls. If this were to be successful, then all of their brains should be seen bursting out of each hollow's head at immense speeds while covered in a protective barrier. "Enjoy your one way ticket to hell." Flicking his hair, Shadin had seemed quite pleased with himself as he saw immense amounts of electrical discharge in the form of sparks of lightning constantly being seen throughout the surrounding area.
Taking a soft sigh, Shadin would then began tap the right side of his head as he was sending feedback of this fight to all the different databases related to The Yayjuu, Gotei 13, Vizard Corps, Vanguard and other similar organizations or affiliations with whom he is connected with in order to ensure that everything went smoothly. Once that was finished, he'd then use his own Cyberbrain in order to direct a small group of TCCU Clones into the area. These were child-like versions of Shadin whom were mass produced by Shadin, The Yayjuu, The Japanese Government and many other funding agency's in order to better protect the entirety of Earth and the Soul Society. Thus, with so many bodies to spare, it was rather easy for him to have a few of these kids swoop down in the area in order to begin harvesting the newly found brain samples.
Taking a glance over at the Captain, Shadin would raise his eyebrow with a slight smirk. "I believe I'll take half of these corpses for myself, and you'll be able to take the other half to your children. We're gonna be using them in order to scan their brain waves, use our equipment to find out their origins and hopefully get down to business to where these shitstains are coming from. So for now, I believe your work here is done." Rubbing his nose a bit, Shadin would fold his arms and wait to see the Captain's reaction to all of this; still being on guard if one of these creatures had happen to be around after those series of attack's he had placed on them. tures had happen to be around after those series of attack's he had placed on them.

Jaeden was blinking a bit, that was surprising this man had come out and well let's just say those hollows that he was wondering at why they were in this place in such numbers, yet not causing any harm or damage were wiped out. More surprising was the fact he was detected, sure Jaeden wasn't the most skilled in the world, but he'd been able to fool some people. It appeared the man got the general direction of his location as well, it was indeed a staggering moment for him. Jaeden rubbed his chin for a moment, before waving his hand and disabling the Kidō he'd been using. Letting his spiritual pressure go finally, so that his location would be known more easily for the man. Jaeden had seen the power, a fellow master of lighting the element was one of Jaeden'sm gifts he could absorb the electrical energy in the air. It often made things far more interesting, though his attention was no firmly planted on Shadin. This individual was immensely powerful, Jaeden was quite aware that compared to Shadin he pry wouldn't be much of a challenge should a fight begin.
"Indeed, you've made this task far more easy but also hard at the same time. I was wondering why such a number would come here, yet attack nothing and remain hidden like this. The question was bugging me, so I thought I would observe for a bit and see if any answers came up. Thought it may of been a trap or something like that, I may of been a tad over cautious. Excuse the question, but do you have any ideas as to why? Why they would remain in this place in such a way without going out to hunt."
Jaeden asked his questions, but remained ready he wasn't sure why but this one wasn't like most he'd come across and Jaeden was well aware of this fact.
"Agreed, I can agree to the terms you've set, thank you for the aid with the enemies"

It seemed as if the situation had been contained easily enough. On Shadin's watch, heh, there was no way a hollow threat like this was ever going to harm the general population of Karakura Central. Still, there was a lingering feeling in his gut that this may or may not be over with for the time being. It would be up to the data experts in The Yayjuu base in order to decipher the data harvested from these grunts brains. Thus, for the time being, it would probably be better to focus on the Captain whom happened to be assigned to this mission as well. "Heh, it seems ya' invested alot into this mission, ehhh? I guess you'll be happy to know that you'll be one of the first people to receive whatever information we get from these shitheads brains once they are processed downtown and we can figure out why the hell they were here in the first place, where they originated from and the reason for them hanging out around the outskirts like that." Scratching his head a bit, Shadin let out a much needed sigh after being a bit stump'd himself on why this was all occurring in the first place.
"Don't sweat the over caution. You were just doing your job from the intel you were given from your higher-ups. These days, you can never afford to be careless unless you got the power to back it up. I've seen too many men die on the battlefield by not thinking their actions through enough." Pausing for a bit, Shadin then had a slight smirk appear on his face as he let out a small chuckle in remembrance of his own feisty personality. "Hehehehe, even I've fallen victim to making decisions too rashly on the battlefield that I later ended up regretting. So you were playin' it smart until I showed up and took care of this little hollow problem for ya'." Folding his arms a bit, Shadin would then lean against a nearby brickwall while glancing at the clean-up effort some of his TCCU Clones were going through on the area.
"Kekekekekeke, brains, brains, brains! We all go nutty brains! Harvest them up, dig them up and haul 'em to the funny house!" Cackled a team of TCCU Clones as they began storing a large collection of the newly deceased hollow's brains inside of bio-hazard sphere's. One by one they picked up the remains of these brains; while an armored hovertruck with The Yayjuu's logo had arrived on the scene that was directed by Shadin's own commands via his Cyberbrain. "C'mon, c'mon! Into the van, into the van!" Shouted one of the leading clones as another convoy of clones started snatching up the brains that were delivered to the truck by the other group whom were tasked with harvesting them. The minute they entered the vehicle they were instantly put on ice and made sure to preserve as much of the brain as they could before high-tailing it out of here as the roar of engines blared across the area. In a matter of seconds, that thing was gone, out of sight and high-tailing it at extreme rates of speeds towards The Yayjuu base in Downtown Karakura for further examination as to why this outbreak of meno's and hollow's went down in the first place.
"Ya' gotta love those children of mine. So high-spirited, energetic and eager to get the job done. Little rascals." Said Shadin with a slight laugh after he got done watching the spectacle take place. "At any rate, though, we should figure out the why's to your questions soon whenever the results get back. Those clones will be busy piling up those brains ye' saw any minute when that truck gets back to my HQ." Resting his head against the slabs of brick behind him, Shadin let out a sigh and closed his eyes briefly as he still had that internal instinct telling him that this still wasn't over. "As for my own personal theory? For a group of hollow's such as the ones that were positioned outside of Karakura, I really believe they were just stalking out the barrier that surrounds this town. At this point, I'm willing to bet those Demon's and Hollow's are just trying to figure out ways to bypass this cities barrier."
Opening his eyes at this point, Shadin leaned his head forward and looked directly at Jaden Crow to give him his immediate attention. "Would it not make sense for one to send suicidal subjects to test experimental methods to bypass that ol' barrier of ours? I've dealt with these scum my entire life and I can tell you that their numbers have plateau'd to a point where they could easily send off random grunts. like the ones you just saw, in order to monitor different types of methods needed in order to enter into all the various types of dome protected cities across Earth." When finished with his last sentence; Shadin would then go on to look upwards at building nearby that had a gathering of TCCU Clones. Nodding his head to signal something, ten of them would be seen moving very quickly towards the direction where those hollow's had came from. It should be obvious to any bystander that they were going to be tasked with recon and scanning out any leftover threats nearby to see where they came from in the first place.
Meanwhile, Shadin pointed his head in the other direction to the last remaining few of TCCU Clones in order for them to start getting into protective positions in the area nearby. It was amazing to see all of these little guys just jumping across the area like a pack of rats. They were seen leaping into nearby empty buildings, others were seen ducking down into the sewers and some had positioned themselves in aerial locations as more hovertrucks started to converge on the vicinity; ones that were very similar to the one which transported the brain matter of the slayed hollow's earlier. "Either way, I won't let them have their way with this city. I know they'd be killing at the chance to reap the rewards of their hard labor by destroying or figuring out new ways to get pass this barrier. After all, if you can get pass one the toughest targets of them all, what's stopping you from lesser threats? If they had figured out a way to eradicate this shield, imagine what they would do to population centers that were less protected then Karakura Central. The results would be fucking disastrous."
Spitting on the ground in distaste of that kind of scenario, Shadin scowled briefly before refocusing on the task at hand. "Anyway, there is no need to really thank me. You were a fellow ally in need and I figured I'd make my presence known to these hollow scum." After saying that towards Crow, Shadin would then begin cracking his neck to loosen up muscles in his cervix. "And as I said eariler, I've already informed all of the organizations on Earth and in the Soul Society as to what occured here; so you are free to go if that's what you wish to do. And on my end, we've pretty much got this whole mess on lockdown." Tapping his head a bit after finishing up with that last sentence, Shadin would then begin giving the TCCU Clones whom left earlier instructions on what to do with the brain matter collected.
Once those instructions were given, he'd then look at Crow and pondered what he was going to now. "So, what are you planning to do now? Will you go back to the Gotei 13 or are you planning to stick around Karakura Central for a bit?" Asked Shadin as he raised an eyebrow at Crow; curious was to what route he was going to go down with this whole situation over with for the time being.

Jaeden merely listened and nodded a bit as he glanced on at the figure of Shadin, the man was impressive. he took out all that without effort, it must of been an impressive feat to most others as well. It wasn't as though he couldn't respect the power and prowess before him, but he needed to consider his actions carefully. Head Captain wasn't likely to agree to much with the situation here, when he reported it in. He didn't really know how to proceed at the moment, closing his eyes he began to think carefully. About the process about to go into the next move he was about to make. Judgement was going to be swift, he rubbed his chin before touching his Zanpakutō softly. He pulled it free now, stabbing into the air and turning it almost like a key. He was opening his route back to the Soul Society up, a Senkaimon of sorts. A couple people awaited him, nothing of serious nature though. They were just here to see the final results of what was going on here. His hand turned the sword and sheathed it quickly after drawing it. He'd not really shown any signs of hostility.
"The current turn of events require I go to report in, I will await the promised items eagerly. Hopefully you turn up an answer, I'll be sure to let Mayuri have whatever is sent my way. Thank you for the assistance with the hollows in this location..My search for someone to teach me, something from history isn't going so well anyways. Hopefully I have better luck next time I look around, perhaps you may of heard of it...You may even know..it..I wanna have the strength required to protect things important..But..just not their yet. Utsusemi- Third of the Shihou is the name it's called."
Jaeden waited for an answer from Shadin, this would effect his choice in a massive way, he would wait to report this event in if Shadin did know the move. He required only a way to see it really, if he say it enough Jaeden could learn it. But he waited, some bit of hope had caught him. Perhaps Shadin would be willing to teach him, perhaps.
