Enter a Giant (Open)(Izu Yousuke)
Sun Jul 08, 2012 4:39 am
A mountain of a man walked down the street of the Serieiti, dressed in very very unusual way. Over his head was a heavy helmet that reached down to about mid chest, and his body showed other peices of armor that peaked out from below a tattered black and white Shinigami uniform. The armor appeared to be some kind of obsidian material and was spiked in a variety of spots.
The huge man, at a glance, appeared even to be larger then the eleventh divisions captain Kenpachi. The truth seemed to be true, the leviathan stood in at a few inches over the seven foot mark and tipped the scales just over three hundred and fourty pounds. His build appeared to be solid muscle mass, a few scars peaked out from under the collar of the uniforms jacket.
Unlike most of the other Shinigami around him Izu didn't carry a katana, across his back sat an axe that measured over four and a half feet long. There was a black leather sheath on head, showing only the handle of the axe, the end of which seamed to be tipped in what appeared to be the head of a sea monster of some sort.
The tattered uniform didn't carry any badges, nor did it seem to carry any indication of a division that he might be a part of. He continued to walk down the streets minding his own business and wouldn't butt his nose into anybodies business unless he was drawn into something.

Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell
Rode the six hundred.

Izu didn't recognize the voice that was being spoken so at first he didn't turn around at the sound of it, and he kept walking forwards. As the crowd seemed to thin some and the voice spoke again he turned to look to see where it came from. Seeing a much smaller man asking him what his beef was? a term that he had never heard before so was kind of lost on its meaning. When he mentioned about not seeing him around much the large man just shrugged at the comment, "I come and go." he replied. "Training regiment." he explained simply before turning to continue his walk, passing the barracks of the eigth division.
There were people around him who weren't as big as even his axe, which did amuse him slightly, but as noone could actually see his face, they wouldn't be able to tell as such. He didn't know who the person who seemed to single him out and follow him, but he was sure that he would find out soon enough. But Izu wasn't exactly known (by those who did happen to know him) as being overly friendly to those who knew him let alone to strangers.
He continued to walk and took a path that seemed to take him on a path that would put him around the facilities of the 11th division. He was thinking of challenging one of their seated members to take over a seat with the division, but he felt he needed a little bit more training before he was truely ready to take on one of their members. Not to say he doubted his own skills, he just wanted to make sure that it was one sided enough that he could fully impress Captain Kenpachi, and he would have to do alot to impress that man.

Izu narrowly avoided stepping on the smaller person as he appeared in front of him, Izu was not far from 2 feet taller then Redd he was also substantially heavier. Had he actually stepped on him, it would have been very very painful. He stopped again and looked down at the much smaller person and rolled his eyes, his facial features, infact his entire head could not be seen due to the strange horned helmet. He sighed to himself, shaking his head somewhat, once again looking down at Redd.
"Izu Yousuke. No I'm not a member of a division yet." he introduced himself, and then moved to move around Redd to head into the training area of the eleventh. He was a man of few words, and this was no different, however he knew that he was at least as strong as many of the so-called 'seated' members that were in the Gotei 13, he just hadn't found a spot that fit him yet.
Though the Eleventh Division was the closest thing that there was to a place he belonged. However all of the seats in the division were taken, and he would have to challenge, fight, and win against a currently seated member, hense his extra training.
