"Judge us not equally, Abraham. We may all deserve hell..."
Tesome was a little nervous, yes even he got nervous from time to time, but he worked hard not to show it on his face or in his mannerisms. The small man appeared to only be eight or ten years old but he was a far older spirit then that. His Demonic DNA had stopped his aging a long time before his death and pretty much froze his body at the size of a ten year old. Today he was still wearing his custom Shihakushō, which included his hood and lower cloth that hid his lower face. The combination hid his demonic features from the casual overlooker.
On his back sat not a katana, but more like a heavily curved saber which seemed to fit his side better then the much larger katana. His eyes scanned the various unseated officers of the Division, and nodding to each of them no matter what the odd looks that he was recieving, by now he was definately used to the looks. He was on his way to the divisions training facilities.
He had always wanted to get a ticket to the training grounds of the second division, just to see what their training regime was, and to see some of the special tactics they are rumored to be able to perform in action, without being on the business end of said tactics.
Moving into the training area, which looked like a large Dojo with a large variety of what humans would pretty much refer to as Gymnastics equipment so that individuals in the squad can keep up their dexterity and speed. The floor is padded by about 3 inches of semi-soft padding(meaning that its pliable but not outright soft). Along two of the walls are a variety of weapons, both real and fake(practice weapons). Inside there were about a half dozen unseated members of the squad practicing
Tesome just moved inside and headed to one side of the facility and took a cross legged seat on the ground. His purple eyes were now watching each officer there carefully.
"... but some of us deserve it sooner than others."

Redd was only a few feet behind the small, silver-haired male. His voace raising above the stressed cries, voices and echos of the squad 2 members in the immediate vicinity of the two. Redd kept one of his chocolate brown eyebrows cocked. In truth he knew exactly who this was-- he made it his business to know. Tesome Onagi, recent 3rd seat applicant. The augmentation of his powers hadn't been revealed to him-- or rather Redd hadn't let these facts escape the words on the page. He preferred to not know unless it was needed.
Redd's hands hung at his sides. The baggy black T-shirt and pants that he wore blended into the surroundings of the dimly lit underground training area's surroundings. The previous training area fro squad 2 had been converted into a relaxation room long ago by the wealthy mis-givings of one lieutenant Ichiro. Making this new underground training area with a cave-like appearance-- alot like the underground tunnel system of the seireitei, but far less advanced in terms of structure and paving.
"Judge us not equally, Abraham. We may all deserve hell..."
Looks to the left when the voice spoke towards him and his purple eyes fell on Redd, his eyes and the skin around his eyes were the only skin that was visible to those that were looking at him. "I am refered to as Tesome Onagi." he introduced himself, standing up and offering a slight bow to the other man. "I am the new Officer here." He replied, he was almost as tall sitting down as he was standing up.
"And yourself?" He asked in response, he didn't know who this person was, but he figured the way that he was looking over the training, that he was probably at the very least a seated member of the Division. He reached up and adjusted the sabre on his back until it was more comfortable, it was always hard with the way it was strapped to his back because it shifted with the slightest of odd movement he made.
He looked up at the other fellow and waited until he responded.

Redd frowned at the males words " New Officer". "Wrong. "
Redd spoke with a small amount of malice in his tone, scrunching up his forehead to match his displeased sounding voice. He then turned From Tesome walking in the direction of the door leading to outside of the training area. As he did this he raised his right arm to about shoulder level, batting his fingers forward-- signalling for the male to follow.
" As far as I know you haven't yet been approved, of course you've passed the necessary trials but do not me the critieria for the 3rd seat position. One that holds the position of 3rd seat must be at the very least an expert in the area of hand to hand-- if not a master. for the soul purpous of keeping the maggots nest under control.
Redd had steered Tesome in the direction of the stairs-- shunpoing to the top in one go. Redd turned back slightly to observe what Tesome would do. He had no knowledge of his unique abilities though his shinigami- related skills were all up for grabs-- seeing as to be a squad 2 member you had to uphold a few things.
" If I may be blunt for a second, I've no idea on earth why you were even admitted into squad 2, our defining traits scream Hoho and Hakuda as far as shinigami skills go. Yet you've barley become adept in either.... Whats your motivation for becoming a 3rd seat ?
Redd leaned in the tiniest bit closer, squinting his eyes and starring down at the male oggleing at his odd features-- particularly the pointed ears that he kept hidden so well. He'd in fact been made aware that this individual was a hybrid of some sort-- or rather he'd made himself aware, This fact had made Redd that much more wary of him joining the squad-- after all he planned to be captain of this fine establishment one day and he wouldn't allow a demon spy muddy up those plans.
"Judge us not equally, Abraham. We may all deserve hell..."
Turns and steps into shadows nearby where he was standing and appears out of a shadow at the top of the stairs and is leaning there when Redd comes out of Shunpo. "Flash step isn't quite as impressive when you can step through shadows virtually instantly." He explained as the other man finally appeared. "And speaking down to a new officer is never a good idea without introducing yourself." He reached up and removed his mask, his demonic traits appearing. "And when I say I am the new officer there is no wrong about it. Unless your deciding to countermand the word of your captain."
His eyes narrowed, he did not know this man and his attempt to show off with Flashstep was far less then impressive to him. His eyes seemed to turn through a variety of colors before settling on silver. "I have far more skills then your imaginary requirements cover. As you just saw." He replied, he wasn't particularly being agressive, but he was not a man to be triffled with, he was far older then the other man and actually probably amongst some of the oldes in the SS, being just over fourteen hundred years old by rough estimates.
"I am aware that one needs to be unarmed when entering the place you speak of, however, even without my sword I am never unarmed. My blood see's to that already." he explained, it was a good bet that this man wasn't aware of what he could do, very few people had come to speak to him for knowledge on demons and he was not one of them, unlike his Captain who had a short conversation with him.

Redd again cocked an eye-brow at the boy-- who appeared to me no older than 13 extraordinary how such a small being could talk so big. " Seeing as you are an applicant-- an nothing more I wouldn't be wrong " A slight hiss in his tone redd began to speak once again.
"Just because the captain approves of does not mean you are automatically the third seat of the second division. I know this because I've yet to approve the paperwork myself.
Redd took a deep breath-- his chest raising and then settleing in its orginal position before he spoke once more. " Redd Tseuken, I am your lieutenant.... As a re-iteration ... He cleared his throat-- raising his left hand which had been balled into a fist up to his mouth before speaking again.
" Speaking down to an officer is never a good idea. " Redd turned from the male he'd been facing continuing to walk on " Allow me to give you the grand tour!
He'd been shouting over his shoulder, as he walked on on in the direction of the previous training grounds. though he lowered his voice as Tesome drew gloser. " A seasoned member of the gotei would advise a new recruit to keep his demon-related abilities under wraps, noone cared about your appearance here-- but it would be best that the rest of the second division members had no knowledge of your bloodline enhancements-- after all, noone wants to run with the enemy.
Tesome may have been far older-- but he was indeed weaker than Redd. Which he'd taken no heed to-- His aim wasn't to prove he was more powerful or faster or better than Tesome, but to get to know his abilities first hand-- no paper could explain how well someone preformed under a competitive influence.
" I'm not saying that you should go out of touch with your heritage completely-- but lieing isn't a crime in the gotei... as long as you aren't caught.... You could easily say... Explain to others that the nifty shadow traveling ability was part of your zanpaktou.... I know of you and I'm sure the captain known of you-- but the fourth seat and below have no idea, why risk giving them a reason to fear you? "
"Judge us not equally, Abraham. We may all deserve hell..."
"I do not hide what I am." He replied, "but neither do I flaunt it, the ability I just used is the first time I used it in about six months." He explained "Its also why I wear the hood." He just leaned against a wall and stopped moving, he really didnt like the way this man was talking to him and yelling at him over his shoulder. He was no longer moving with the man, "As far as I am aware, there are plenty of people around the Gotei that know who I am and What I am. The key reason why I haven't joined a Division in almost a year."
"Walking around at under three and a half feet tall and appearing to be between 8-10 years old makes people wonder about what makes me different to begin with. And what they don't know makes them fear me to begin with." he spoke and blurred. "And that technically would make me a liar because my Zanpakutō gives me a different speed advantage." when he blurred he disappeared from sight for a moment as he moved with a ten times modification to his speed and appeared in front of Redd.
"And another thing...who says I don't want people to fear me? If someone of my physical statured is going to get along in this world, i need them to know i am far more capable then my small size indicates." He reached up and pulled the hood over his head and covering up the lower section of his face again as he walked in front of Redd.
"... but some of us deserve it sooner than others."

"You say you don't flaunt who you are" Redd whipped his hand forwards even faster than Tesome had moved before-- using shunpo to further his movements speed. Redd far out-sped the male even at his peakvitality. He'd gripped the boys hood and retracted his arm in one fluid motion. tearing the cloak from his shoulders.
"Yet you wear a hood to hide who you are with a cover-- keeping this part of you hidden. As I said your appearance means nothing here. You classmates have done you wrong since the moment you arrived the academy-- and yet you still fight. I am your superior-- your friend, understand that any childish taunting from other members of the gotei will be met with a swift physical confrontation with me-- personally. I'm more than sure the same goes for Lloyd.
Redd sighed-- relinquishing the hold he had on the torn piece of cloth. He then raised the same hand to his head to rub squeeze the bridge of his nose with his index finger and thumb. He sighed letting his head hang down as he did so.
" All I ask is that you don't get us executed because we've injured so many people. " He raised his eyes--thought only slightly, to meet Tesome's, giving him a searching glance.
" You're family now, and that's all that matters. He spoke in a a raspy tone-- giving a small laugh as he spoke again.
" Hell, we had a FOX for a captain a few years back... Do what you want, I was just letting you know that would be the easiest way to avoid the torment you've gone through. " Redd had done his own research-- the stealth corps didn't just apply to outside forces. There were indeed "moles" in the academy who'd observed and monitored the activity-- of course these sources were to report to the head captain but they were still under the control of the Omnitsukido. Seeing as Captain Reed wasn't to fond of paperwork the dirty deed mostly fell on the lieutenant-- whi didin't at all mind the burden.
"Judge us not equally, Abraham. We may all deserve hell..."
An audible Growl comes loudly from his throat as the man dared shunpo on him and tore his, uniform. "Let me get this straight." He snarled as he turned around. "First, you insult me by basically calling me a liar when saying I was an officer." he twitched. "THEN...you basically say that the CAPTAIN, of your division NEEDS YOUR PERMISSION, to allow someone into HIS division." he snarled again. "Then you tell me to dishonor myself and other officers around her by lying to them about what I am." He growled. "Then you DARE to Deserate MY UNIFORM."
"Then you have the Gaul to try to claim ANY kind of kinship with me?" He growled. "That is Laudible." He snarled and turned his back on him walking away from him ignoring the rest of his so-called speach.
"... but some of us deserve it sooner than others."
