The student surpasses the master??? [Closed]

Redd stepped loosely about the training ground of the shino academy. Each footfall calling forth a small plume of dust that rose to a space just above his ankles.
It was well into the night-- or rather morning about 2am-- somewhere around there He didn't know, he didn't care.

It was odd enough that his wandering has brought him to this portion of the sereitei, more importantly this hour. He glanced about the area who's floor was a tan-ish color that was only slightly lighter than his skin. and much more so than his hair.
He was the only one here, or so it seemed. His eyes gazed to each corner of this facility, the night sky illuminating the area around him, giving everything its moonlight touched a blue-white color.

Dots of shimmering orange could be seen along the walls, the oil burners hadn't been put out, which wasn't really out of the ordinary-- even when he'd been a shinigami in training the staff sometimes neglected to put out the flames about the academy. The confined space he was in Reached to about three quarters of a football field if not more. The walls that marked the frame of the training area were white-- Slanted navy-blue tiles atop them.

He gripped the hilt of his zanpaktou nonchalantly with his right hand-- this weapon of his having been slung over his back -- the hilt near his right shoulder. He slowly extended his arm. The sound of Metal grating against metal as Chizana was pulled from the confinement of her sheath... all was silent.. all was quiet... except for the steady breathing that came with his excitement.

Redd didn't know what he was waiting for-- despite the fact that he'd been here for over half an hour with no major events, he still remained on edge. It didn't necessarily feel as if he was being watched.. Just like... He was supposed to be there.

"It's been a while"

The sound of her voice brought about a small grin on his face that shone with close to the same blue-white combination of the rest of thier terrain. He turned-- clock wise, to face her. He'd probably been an odd sight before, Chizana half drawn. Of course this was only because he'd been expecting a fight with one person or another. An his weapon was quickly deposited back in its rightful place as he rushed forward at the same time she did.

Kaminari had stopped just short of Redd But he continued on to walk forwards--The small breeze getting caught in the oddly large holes of his sleeves as he swung his arms around the girl who wasn't more than a few inches smaller than him, Causeing him to appear a bit plumper than before. His palms came to a rest on her shoulder blades as he did so, giving her a small squeeze before taking a step back to get a good look at her as he spoke.

"It has, it has "
His eyes-- which had found their way into a position that was so severely squinted that they seemed close. Now opened in surprise at the mention of green men.
Thats right... she had been there.

He began internally scolding himself for his lack of urgency with explaining exactly what had happened down there .He brought his right hand -- which was already bent over his right shoulder, as he'd instinctively moved it back into the perfect position to draw his sword. He grabbed at a fistful of his thick brown hair, tugging on it gently.

"Y'see the thing with that was..."
His friendly tone faded as he neared this small pause.
"That was a condition of the achieving of my bankai abilities. But aside from all that how have you been you seem .... Advanced"
Advanced hadn't been quite the word he was looking for -- causing the last bit of his sentence to be an awkward ending to the half-ass explanation of his inner world.

"C'mon I'm sure you could handle it"
Directing a - less toothy smile but a smile all the same at the girl, before speaking in a more solemn sounding tone.
"After all shinigami face death every day. And come on you can't say you've never wanted to fight a zombie or two.
Redd pursed his lips as she as this final question-- his forehead becoming creased in confusion. It'd taken him only a few seconds to come up with an answer. His eyes worked thier way up from the ground to the face of his former "student".
" Isn't it obvious ?.... I guess, I'm waiting for you"

The manner in which he'd stitched these words together could have made it easily sound as if he was lying due to the fact that is speech had been to hesitant. But this wasn't the case at all, his words were so weirdly placed together only because he spoke those words as he cam to the realization himself that they were true, not because he was making them up as he went along.

It seemed odd-- that he was in this place, at this time of night, for absolutely so reason. Especially when this was the norm for her. Redd wasn't a strong believer in fate, but at the same time he thought that if two people bonded in some way they were bound to cross paths again.

It was thoughts like these, that gave him an even greater smile. Redd hadn't built to many bridges with people in the seireitei. In fact she was one of his only friends-- despite their having only met a couple of times, he had a stronger linked to her than just about any other shinigami.... and it was nice.

Her previous raise in the tone of voice as she said the word Bankai had given away her interest. And despite all assumptions Redd was interested in her advancement in power.
"Wanna see it ? "
He tilted his head the smallest bit raising his eyebrown-- in a questioning glare at the girl that stood before him.
"I mean in all honesty I haven't gotten to use it yet... and I'd like to see yours as well "

A low in volume rumbling laugh wrenched itself from his chest, but was shortly dispersed. He was giddy-- He hadn't even been given the chance to ACTIVATE his bankai much less use it in battle, and the fact the the first person who would see it would be her gave him joy-- after all he'd been the first to see her shikai. Not its effects mind you but he'd been happy enough, having helped her obtain it.

Redd moved his right upwards a small bit-- he seemed to be doing alot of that latley.
"Hmp well uhm I'll try.. not kill you that is."

He smirked as he circled about the female, dark eyes observing her-- or rather the spiritual pressure that seemed to roll off of her. He felt compelled to touch it-- in spite of the fact that he knew he couldn't. He'd finally reached a space that was behind her and just a little bit to her right before he bent over forward, crouching down. In doing this he'd moved his right hand to grip his zanpaktou and pull it outward, the sound that could only be described as metal ripping was the result. He then swooped his arm in a horizontal line towards her shins-- his sword flying sowards her legs.

He then allowed his right and to meet his left-- using the small bit of momentum from his strike to continue spinning, standing up as he did so. His zanpaktou had been drawn in close to his chest-- held in a way that made the hilt seem as if he'd been giving a thumbs up- the blade going in the opposite direction of his thumb. Chizana glinted in the moonlight-- creating a spiral of light spreading out to a one foot radius around him as he'd executed three quick spins.

Redd stepped towards her mid- spin, extending his right arm once again. Moving his right leg outwards, planting it firmly onto the powdery earth beneath them He'd topped his lower body from spinning-- but not his upper body completely.
Raising his left leg- he continued on with the spiraling motion Having been going in a clockwise motion this entire time this would have carried his heel towards the Kaminari's mid-section-- the momentum from his first few turns had been fast but the shift onto one foot had decreased his center of gravity- making the last spin alot faster, though this could prove beneficial to him or not.

Redd intended to show her his newly found release-- yes. But things like these had to be eased into, besides how would she notice the difference if he didn't demonstrate his abilities without the power of his zanpaktou. After all, the achieving of his bankai was a major skill, but he'd advance much more than just in that aspect-- as he expected she had.

Redd was aware that friends did indeed have small fight at times, but he couldn't imagine one being on the same par that would soon share with Kaminari.

" While I'd rather not die.. I'm going to be very dis-appointed in my student if she holds back.
This held as much truth as it did playful taunting-- She'd grown in power, yes. But at the same time he remained confident he'd survive.

Redd wistfully raised his left hand-- swooping it inwards towards his chest. Their fore-arms collided, the punch she'd dolled out with her left hand having been pushed past his right shoulder. Redd took a half-step to his right, leaning over to a small degree-- avoiding her second punch as well. He vanished as her first kick came to pass reappearing a small distance away from his previous position as she landed. Through out the duration of his shunpo he'd kept his eyes on her.

" Impressive, it looks as if you've gotten some new moves.
But this isn't Hakuda training.
Draw your sword.
He said in an authoritative tone, his eyebrows curving upwards in the part that was closest to the bridge of his nose, forming creases across his forehead.
Redd waited for her to do so before making yet another move. Shunpoing so that he was no more than 8 feet from her. He could have just done this and brought himself closer but there was somthing about this specific situation that made him keep at a distance from the time being.... As he'd said before he'd advanced and again that wasn't just physically.

"Hadō 33... Sokatsui"
A blue pillar of fire shot from his now outstretched palm, 6 feet tall and 7 feet wide this Kidō energy was a shapeless mass, looking as it it'd been shot from the back of a space shuttle. And it didn't end there.
Redd continues on speaking.. using the incantation to keep the spell ongoing-- a technique he'd learned from the famous kukaku shiba.

"Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws."

Redd had used this to keep this gigantic stream of fire pouring form his palms-- chaseing after the young female as he did so, provided that she'd moved in the first place.
The flames that had missed inevitably scorched the ground that had previously been tan into a burnt black color. what little plantlife that littered the ground in the arc of flames he;d created had now been singed into oblivion, though his attack hadn't reached as far as the walls of the training area before it dissapated.
