"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari was satisfied. Within her attempt to get him to breathe in the pollen that her Zanpakutō's shikai let forth, she succeeded. As usual, his movements were quick, precise, and impressive, but she was still able to sense her poison beginning to work itself through her veins, but only at a certain time would she dare activate it. The longer it was in his system, the quicker it will take effect when it did activate, and now wasn't going to be that time. The fact was, she wanted to test all of her other skills against the person's power that she had truly admired. Having trained her for a short while in close quarters, hand to hand combat, and then helping her succeed in bringing out her shikai, she wanted to know if she was skilled enough to even surpass her teacher. Yes, her teacher. She definitely thought of him as the person who opened the door to so many possibilities. And she wanted to make him proud by showing that she could hold her own, even against him and his own power. He had easily moved into the air, definitely above the range of her poison, but that had already been taken care of when it had shot out and he had only landed six feet away from her. Turning her body to where her left shoulder was the one facing him, she narrowed her eyes, not taking her gaze away from him as he shot off a rather powerful Kidō. Her pollen had been completely dispersed into the air, now surrounding practically the entire area, which in her case was actually not a good thing. Since it was forced out into a much broader area, yes, it would be harder for him to avoid breathing it in, but at the same time she didn't really have an easy enough ability to collect it. She was decent at her shikai, but not the best and truly needed to increase her skill in the aspect. Redd suddenly called out a strange line, herself still a little to naive to understand the theatrical tone completely. At first she thought he was joking, and raised her eyebrow at him, but when she saw that he placed his Zanpakutō at his chest, her eyes widened. He stabbed himself and she saw what she thought was blood. She watched in horror for a moment until he looked back to her and his mischievous "Just kidding" had been said. Taking in a deep breath and letting it out, she shook her head as she realized the joke. "That... wasn't funny." She watched him with slightly narrowed eyes, taking in the changes that were happening. The appendages popping out from his back, their lengths, and the fact that they seemed to be coming from his spine. She blinked in shock. This was definitely something new to her. It would be the first bankai that she had ever seen. "So this is your bankai? It's rather impressive. The Creeping Spider, huh? It definitely lives up to it's name." She couldn't help but smile at him, rather impressed and happy for him. She was glad that he was coming up in the ranks and in his power. Although, she was very happy at the fact that he had already taken in the pollen and the poison was moving through his veins. If that had not happened, she would not ever have a chance to defeat him in this battle of theirs. "White... moves... first?" She tilted her head to the side, trying rather hard to think about what the hell that meant, but shook her head and just assumed it meant that she was going to have to get moving. She had no clue that he was speaking to the color of his and her skin. That wasn't a place that her mind has ever been. "Well, if you're not wanting to come down here, I have no problem making the first move. I doubt that I am anywhere near as skilled as yourself, but I've gotten a bit better at Kidō myself... So I think I'll test it out." she said to him in a sweet tone, giving him that same innocent smile that she had given when they first met. "Byakurai!" she outstretched her right arm, pointing two fingers forward towards him and out shot a blue burst of lightning, aiming straight towards his chest without any hesitation behind it. Knowing that he'd more than likely move from that spot, she switched her hand position and opened her palm and aimed it towards his body, "Shakkaho!" This one was a red ball of energy that shot forward towards his body as well, just like before with no hesitation on it at all. She didn't stop there though. While this was going on, she was purposely regathering all of the pollen that had been dispersed outwards by his Kidō. Once again, it began surrounding her entire body in it's own barrier like fashion, six feet above her head and twenty five feet in each direction. |

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari expected the first dodge, but was hoping that he was going to at least be grazed by the second Hadō. Her eyes widened as she saw him just deflect it, sending it on a completely different path over his shoulder. Impressed and shocked, she blinked a few times, still bringing her pollen in around her own body. The pollen began to thicken, creating a sort of 'dust cloud'. Kaminari was watching him intensely through this cloud of pollen and saw that he had actually ran forward and into it, coming straight forward at a speed that definitely beat her own. She did have to say she was lucky at this point though. He had not realized that since the pollen was indeed gathering around, pushing himself through it like that would automatically and logically have it cluster against his own eyes, altering his own ability to see perfectly. Using this to her advantage, she stepped back three feet from where she originally stood. She was going to move back even further since she saw his fifteen foot long appendages all aim towards her chest, but suddenly a sound echoed it's way into her ear, causing immediate effects that she had never expected to happen. She ended up tripping over her own two feet and falling backwards, but at this same time, for just in case reasons, she tightened her hand around her Zanpakutō's hilt and activated the poison within his body. Immediately he would begin to feel the effects and all of his body parts would stop moving as his blood and muscle were effected. Seeing as this happened, she blinked her now blurry eyes and shook her head, trying to make it go away. The ringing in her ears continued, "Stop.. it..." She mumbled as she tapped the side of her head, over her ears. This ringing in her ears reminded her of one thing, when she used her voice on the people around her. How they'd cover their ears and complain about headaches, blurry vision, and loss of balance. "Stop it..." she said, beginning to become rather upset at the ringing continued. "STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT!!!" She yelled out as she covered her own ears. At this point she wasn't caring to control it. The sound of her voice echoed rather loudly, sending the sound wave into anyone within range, which Redd definitely was. She carried the notes for 4 seconds. Redd being at what she classified as short range, the immediate effects being loss of balance, a headache, making it hard to breathe, along with blurry vision. She had become angry with Redd for causing this to happen to her and allowed the restraint she had on her vocal ability to release. With her hands still covering her ears, she mumbled the name of a special Kidō that she had developed to protect others, but now apparently it was for herself. "Kisato Chakujitsu." Two barriers of dark pink spiritual pressure formed around her hands and she connected them to her ears. Although this blocked out ALL sound, as long as she didn't hear that sound again, she was content. Noting that the two of them were actually still inside her cloud of pollen, she raised her head to look around, pushing herself to her feet. She stumbled for a moment and then looked towards him. She was able to tell it was him. He was blurry, but at times she was able to make out small details, especially his hair. She raised her hand to him, once again loosing her balance for a moment and stumbling backwards, even farther away from him than before. Recovering again, she held her hand up once more, focusing and concentrating on her determination to win this fight, now more than ever before. "Sokatsui!" She said in what was classified as normal speaking. She still had not brought up any restraint and her voice echoed to him once more. It didn't add any more effects, but instead added a little more amount of time that he was going to be forced to deal with the effects that he already had. As she called out it's name, a burst of blue spiritual energy shot forth from the palm of her hand. It was five foot wide and five foot tall. Although smaller than his, the effects that he was feeling she hoped would prevent him from moving. |

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari didn't immediately understand how he was still standing when she had paralyzed his entire body. Her poison was one hundred percent effective to anyone that had blood and muscle, so how was this even possible? She noticed that he wasn't actually using his own two legs, but instead the tendrils that he had grown from his back. She was quick to realize that they must not have been made out of any blood or muscle. They must have been something else. For a moment, she began to feel the effects of his sense dulling ability wear off, which made her feel slightly grateful. At that time, she heard him call out the name of the same Kidō he had used before, but this time had done it twice. Her eyes widened when she felt the force of the Kidō push her down, landing on her back. As she stood up, her body once again began feeling strange. Just like before her vision blurred, she began loosing her sense of direction, and was unable to push herself to her feet due to the loss of balance. She thought his ability was based on sound, but apparently that was a mistake as well. Even beyond all of this, he disappeared not only from sight, but his spiritual pressure was gone as well. She went to try and stand again, but something slammed into her body at a high velocity, causing her to be pushed right back down to the ground. As her body hit the floor, she clenched her teeth in slight pain, a single whimper being let out, but not enough to cause any damage. Something had been placed in multiple areas on her body. First she felt one hit her square in the chest and another to the left side of her waist. The third hit her left leg, while the fourth hit the top of her right hand. The fifth hit her in the forehead, and the final one she felt hit her right thigh. Once again, she went to stand, but she couldn't because of how dizzy she was. She reached up, Zanpakutō's still in hand, and grabbed onto the things that attached to her, attempting to pull them from her body, but they did not work. "Redd... What the hell is this?" She mumbled mostly a rhetorical question. She was completely unaware of the danger lurking behind her. His disappearance caused her to be on her guard, but with her senses completely dulled and preventing her from being able to hear and see normally, she was practically defenseless. Knowing that she was a sitting duck, she ended up quickly having an idea come to her, "Hadō Number Eleven, Tsuzuri Raiden." It truly was a long shot, but she assumed since he was more than likely the one to attach these things to her, that he was the one that was holding onto them. Once the Kidō was cast, an electric current would hopefully move through them, all the way to Redd's body. |

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari was not able to hear Redd's explanation of what these things attached to her body very well, but did get some of it. Obviously an ability of his that she had not seen before. Her Kidō some how failed, she didn't understand that at all. She felt a slight pain in her hands and was about to move them, but she felt them shift. She realized at that moment that her sense of touch had actually not been effected at all. Using this to her advantage, she kept her hands on the things attached to her, no matter the cuts she was getting on her hand. She felt them shift at about that time, showing her that he not only created a large distance between the two of them because they were loosened slightly, but he had begun to move. His directional pattern was running a circle clockwise around her, so she decided quickly to shift this and countered it by spinning clockwise as well. Since she had not ever let go of her Zanpakutō the entire time, the blade in her right hand suddenly reformed. She called it back, making the air around him safe again, but the moment the blade formed, "Invade the Air, Shiroka." Her words were quick and easily understandable. The blade shined for a brief moment and up to two hundred flowers formed. She had all, but twenty of them of them trace themselves along the strings attached to her and all the way up to where Redd was standing. Whether or not he moved wouldn't matter at this time, because they followed the strings, so if he shifted where he was standing or where the strings were, they would shift their paths as well. Each flower was placed a mere six inches from one another, except where Kaminari stood. They were a good ten feet from the part of these strings that were near her. They went all the way up to where Redd was, and without any hesitation at all, she activated and exploded them all along each of these strings and some of them even near Redd. Each one of the explosions was big enough to reach three foot in diameter, and powerful enough to completely shatter the bone in someones arm. Although none of them actually touched Redd. They were all concentrating on the strings at hand and to get them off of Kaminari. Whether it worked or not, five seconds later, each flower would reform to once again surround Kaminari for yet another command. She could only have two hundred at once, but once one was gone, another would replace it. |

"There is no point in having power..." Kaminari noticed that the flowers of hers were seeming to disintegrate before that had their chance to blow up, but once they did, they had done a significant amount of damage. As stated before, once one is destroyed another returns to take it's place, once again completing the set of two hundred orchids for her Shikai. Seeing that he had decided to Shunpo, or Hoho, is way towards her and stopped at twenty feet. She narrowed her eyes at him, seeing the sling shot motion that his appendages had just barely begun. She then took up her Zanpakutō, pointing the one in her left hand that was now only a hilt, towards him while he was in mid-jump. Her orchids followed suit, all but the same twenty, and suddenly shot forward at speeds that would match a speeding car, going about eighty miles per hour. At this distance and since he had been pushed into a spiral, unless he somehow had his eyes on her the entire time, her flowers would slam into his body. They were pushing towards him at high speeds, yes, but also were spread out a good ten feet wide and eight feet tall. The moment they would make contact with his body, she switched the position of her wrist in a quick flash and they would all explode. Now, his strings still being attached to her, they no longer had the same effect as before. Instead of each being three foot in diameter, they were now two foot, but still had the amount of force and pressure behind them to break a a bone. At the same time as she was doing this, she held out her right hand, after sticking that Zanpakutō into the ground real fast. "Sphere of power, form in my hand. See the light of the burn!" She said the incantation at the same time as her orchids would be slamming into his body. "Hadō Number Nine, Kaen-dama!" She looked up to the threads, tossing the small ball of energy that formed in the palm of her hands, and in the middle of the explosion that she had caused, she threw the ball towards the threads attached to her body, a good six feet away. Once and if it hit successfully, the ball would explode in a four foot diameter and hopefully have done enough damage to get these things off her body. The moment it was thrown, she reached down and took her Zanpakutō back up. She had done all of this without taking her eyes off of the location Redd was at. |
