» Personality: Contradictory to what she seems to represent, Winry is a really kind hearted girl. However, she tends to hide this with a roughness : that roughness only accentuated as the years went by. A typical girl would be right, but at the same time she isn't. It's like Winry is a fragmented existence within herself : needless to say, there was some trauma in her early life. Winry is a very ethical person, believing in right or wrong : but that sense of justice has been suppressed and dimmed down as Winry gained something like apathy. Few people in general will even get a reaction out of her : even some of the people she knew her whole life. In fact, very few remaining people recall her older days, and thus, very few can really pull out what she hides deep within herself. This is the fragmentation that presents itself : a cover personality, and then the true personality. However, one preset surfaces no matter what : her love for mechanics.

The cover personality is actually apathetic, and uncaring : troubles does not seem to move her, and she gets irritated at pushy people. She's none too nice persay, and it seems in most cases she's more then uninterested in the world itself. Simply doing what she has to and no more. However, faced with mechanics, she will gain a very rare smile : she seems to intimately understand mechanics at a level above what any human should : and those that see her with her mechanics, often realize that her simple title, although very crude in nature, fits her like a glove. The cover personality is more or less a wall to keep everyone away : she barely talks or react to people : if they get too annoying or too close to cracking her, it switches to a more aggressive and arrogant personality. More or less, the cover personality will do everything in order to stay in control, as to protect the other self. This is done out of a duty to protect the fragile self : so it's not uncommon to see the cover personality suddenly lose it's pedals and fly into a dangerous rage.

However, the true self is much different. As said before, Winry in nature is a kind girl : she is very loyal, and understands emotional nuances. She's a worrier by nature, and is actually a bit domineering, but in a good way. She loves to take care of those she cares for, and has no problem waiting, no matter how painful it was. Her patience is unlimited, and no matter what anguish she may feel, or what pain, she always keeps going. Winry doesn't understand the word ''stop'' it seems. She often used to treat Edward roughly, particularly when he damaged her precious automail : but it was more out of concern for him then the actual automail, which is rare. Winry is very prone to acting without thinking sometimes, particularly if she's worried. She can be a tease at times, and is generally a happy girl, with that edge of tsundere in there. It's very slight, but it can be seen at times, particularly when she's being teased.

These are the two main fragmentations : coupled with her love of mechanics, this means that Winry has a basic understanding of functions and mechanics. However, her instinct and talent are off the charts : she was able to craft nerve wired automail, as to facillitate Edward's alchemy, when she was very young : not many could understand, nor craft things as such. She has amazing body sense, and seems to understand people's beings at a glance : same with machines. However, one thing seems to snap her instantly into a sort of blanked out state, where anything is possible. That state is corpses : Winry cannot stand to see them. She is just as, if not, more stubborn then Edward.. as seen when they butt heads.

» Background: Winry was born around the same time as Edward : in fact, they lived in the same town, and not very far from each other. Winry's parents died when she was young to a thief : it was kept quiet, but it was Winry that found the bodies. That fostered her snapping trigger of dead bodies : it was only truly realized much later on. From then on, Winry was raised with her grandmother Pinako : and having lost her parents, much like the Elric boys, she played with them, and helped take care of them. She loved them both : Kane and Edward. She never saw the signs, but she tried her best to help them : however, what they did with alchemy seemed to pass over her head. She was lost, and soon gave up, deciding to watch her grandmother, and twinker with metal. That's when her dog lost it's leg : and the young girl devoted so much time into making a leg that her beloved companion could accept. And finally she did it : exhausted, she did it.. and began to play around with automail concepts, realizing that she had a fun passtime. But that passtime would become primary, on that cold night.

Without warning, she heard someone bashing at the door, and a worried voice. Winry walked towards the door, having a bit of difficulty reconizing Kane's voice : but opening the door, and seeing Ed, looking like a corpse, the girl screamed. Her grandmother came running, even if it was dangerous, and immidiately, they flew into action. Winry's fear was so great, that her body kicked into overdrive : her grandmother's medical knowledge was sufficient, but she did not have the steadiness. And in the panic, Winry became an absurd calm, able to handle the surgery, even anticipating problems : her natural body sense guided her. And with that, they saved Edward's life, even with Kane watching. But Winry's core had been shaken : she felt responsible for not watching over them. That guilt remained on her mind for the rest of her life : as thus, she felt a natural need to worry.

She and her grandmother were consigned to make automail for Edward, a new technology. It fell right into Winry's hands, considering her plans were sketching out an arm and a leg. It was funny how fate did things, and Winry warned Edward of the pain. But his response was typical : that he would recover in a year, and that this pain was nothing but for the pain of his mother. She smiled and spent the time afterwards working on helping him : and she devoted so much time to it, that when he left for the State Alchemist exam, she felt empty. The girl was suprised, but still, she even followed him, having heard the confrontation. She couldn't rest until she knew he was safe. And when she got there, she was greeted with a rain of cherry blossoms : odd, but she accepted it.. and even more so when Edward passed. But her heart was burned : she watched the childhood home, the place were they all had fun, just die down to ashes. Almost angry, she muttered to the ruins.

''Does that mean you're leaving me too?''

Whenver his automail broke, she fixed it. And then.. that's when it happened. The world turned upside down. Because Edward died. And Winry couldn't have helped him. She had been running to warn him, even though she shouldn't have followed him. However, she found herself at the scene half a day later, and saw his dead body. Without warning, her mind snapped. A death like scream tore from her throat, as she felt a surge within her. Her powers awakened, as she felt something like a murderous intent leaking out of her. And without warning, her mind fragmented at that moment. Because she loved Edward with all of her being. The people that were still around, that had let him die and killed him, were found several hours later, pieces of them at least. The state just walked up to find Winry, Edward's cloak around her body. The air was stagnant with blood, and Winry just turned around, her eyes dead, as she just tilted her head. Walking towards Edward's body, she picked it up and walked back to Ressembool : their home. Burying him underneath their burned house, same as she did with Kane all those years ago, Winry felt something freeze in her.

Then for years, she lived. When her grandmother died of illness, Winry saw her off with a smile. And then her dog. Slowly, the world changed around her, bit by bit. However, two things were never touched : the Rockbell house, and the Elric remains. In fact, Winry owned both of those lands, wrenching hte Elric home from the military with her almost outstanding prescence. Did it matter? She never cared, as her fingers curled. She didn't wish for this : Edward was gone, and it felt as if time had frozen her there, never to continue for her. As if her immense will had stopped her very flow itself, and removed herself from the normal flow of time. Her saddness was immense : the more she was left alone in that world, and everyone died, the more she closed herself. It was like a beautiful rose : but instead of blooming, it was shutting it's petals back into a bud. And then one day, as she had a few apprentices, the unimaginable happened. They were slain and the Rockbell home burned down for she was a witch. Running towards the remains of the Elric home, her head leapt. She found the bodies digged up, and her entire form shaking. The grinning face of the one that watched her, the only survivor, naked because she had escaped from the bath, was soon smashed in. And she took his gun, her body shaking.

That was the turning point[NSFW].

A hand slid over her eyes, as a cold, metallic touch took the gun from her hand. The warmth, the feel : it was strange as she felt her eyes water up, the tears slipping down her cheeks, as that very feeling seemed to bring something out she forgot. How could she forgot every single touch? She had been hopeless, never able to admit her true feelings, as one of her arms crossed around her, as if to protect herself. And the gun was taken away, as she heard words that never, for the rest of her life, she would never forget. It was his voice : the voice of the one she longed to hear, for these all long years.

Her body shook. She let go, and her knees collapsed. She understood and yet didn't. That was the day Winry Rockbell left the world of humans behind. She followed Edward, unsure of what he was, who he was, even what his purpose was, into the abyss. She followed him into the Demon world : and even though it was hard on her at first, she realized that she was removed from time. Her entire being, time had stopped unless she allowed it to flow. Winry understood this faster then Edward. She also hid the tattoo she had gained that day, on his death. For so long.. she wished to see him. Without ado, she just followed him : there was nothing more, nothing less for Winry Rockbell, always swept up in the storm that was the Elrics. She had her will, yes.

But her own will was to stay by his side. And so, she would, even if he objected.

> Comprehenshion of Material
Winry understands, composes and adjusts mechanical objects with a precision denoting a master. This means anything that is made of parts, or has a function is understandable, as long as it's material. Such things like Kidō, and Magic do not fall under this category : however, she has the ability to understand them. However, she cannot compose or adjust them as professional as she can with machines. This means, in simple terms, anything that is created that is not energy based in nature, is able to be disassembled and understood by Winry. Such as a wodden catapault or a high tech touch pad. At a simple glance, Winry can understand things so complex that they could boggle the user's mind. This also applies to liviing beings : in a sense, it's like she can see every aspect of the body at once, and adjust what she needs from there. From nerves, to bones, to muscles, her knowledge is inexaustable. It's like she can make a graph in her head of how things work, and then disassemble it and then make several smaller graphs for specific areas. However, these are mostly general assumptions at a glance : but her expertise is such that is almost ALWAYS right. As long as the thing ie material, she will understand it.

> Creation of Material
Winry is able to take her understanding, and use it at a high level. More or less, she can create things that most would be blown away by : such as recreating a high tech touch pad with wodden materials, or even able to construct things such as a heavily fortified castles with minimal time involved. Winry has this sort of speed in which she's creating and forming materials to create things, that anyone that knew less would understand it like alchemy. In essence, Winry is able to use part of her energy to preform miracles : however, this involves only material objects. And this category does not include living beings in a whole : however, Winry could use this for transplants or reforming a body. This grants Winry a sort of healing type ability for living things. However, she does not have a source of energy strong enough to allow to transcend the rule of creation, and produce a fully aware, and alive being. In esscence, this means that Winry reproduces parts, and then contructs or configures them onto a whole. So more or less, Winry simply bypasses the normal method of gathering, and forming the necessary parts, and skips directly to assembling.

> Transcendance of Material
Suprisingly to all, Winry has the ability to utilize any material she produces : either it's by instinct, or hard won knowledge, or even if it's just automatic, nobody can be sure. Anything she reproduces and assembles, she can use as if a master : it allows her to move beyond most in power, due to the very simplicity of the fact that she takes the materials and forms them out of her very own energy, she naturally acquires the skills to use it. For example, should she form a canon, Winry's attributes would shift to where she can utilize and carry the canon by herself. So in essence, Winry's re-wiring her own being in order to suit the material that she has brought forth. This allows her to bring forth anything and use it. This is actually part of her strutcture, as Winry always had this ability : as long as she brought what she needed forth, her body would shift to match the requirements in using it.

» Chi Powers:

Geppo: Being that there powers somewhat evolve around the Yin and Yang, moon step would be their form of flash step, high speed movement where in the case of tier you will be able to keep up with the Shinigami's flash step. Yuèqiú bù thought does have one thing that is different from the Shinigami's flash step because it makes no noise.

Vindeca "Heal": Using Chi in order to get their bodies to the best shape as possible, using the chi flowing in there own bodies they are able to regenerate faster then the normal human beings this doesn't mean their bodies heal instantly, it's almost like the Shinigami, there bodies can heal faster then normal humans can, this doesn't pertain to any injuries like a cut off limb, they cannnot regenerate a arm or a thumb or anything, these are flesh wounds to the body.

Tekkai "Iron Mass": Training themselves as much as possible along with the Chi in their own bodies they have formed a almost 'perfect' body where their muscles are so close together that they have higher endurance then the normal human, also with using this they are able to form Chi on their own skin, this is constantly active, and is a lot like the Arrancar's own Hierro.

» Awakened State: Winry has managed to awaken herself with Chi : but it was an instinctive nature, and as such, she has not quite used the potential of chi itself. The only boon she has gained is the use of Geppo, Tekkai and Vindeca, along with a semi-immortal life. Otherwise, Winry has not really formed her chi powers yet, and simply uses her chi much like Reiatsu to implement more energy into her abilities.
