Kanna nodded in agreement to his suggestion about moving faster. As he began to move, she glanced around the forest with a suspicious look. She could see nor sense absolutely nothing now that they had gotten rid of these Hollows. Sheathing and sealing her Zanpakutō, she turned in the direction Shinji had gone and hurried forth as well. They soon came to the edge of the forest and the Seireitei was already in sight. She smirked when she realized that the two of them were going to more than likely make it back without getting themselves killed. Now running through a small valley, they soon made it into the Rukongai, passing up the houses as quickly as they could. The gate to the Seireitei was luckily open and the two could just run through it and get to where they needed to be.
"You make sure you take care of that arm. I'll be pissed if you die because of a Hollow attack." She told him as they made it through the Seireitei gate, "Good luck on your joining a Squad, and thank you. If it wasn't for you being there with me, I can't say I would have survived that." Speaking those words were like tasting vinegar. She didn't like thanking anyone for anything, especially a male. Of course this was her own problem, along with her serious trust issues. With that, she shunpo'd out of sight, leaving the male behind to return to her room and later see whether or not her application to Squad Four had been accepted.

"Thank you, I might not have made it myself." He smiled and offered her a bow. "My arm will be fine, im a tough SOB." He smiled. He had probably proven that a bit back there. He nodded to her about the joining of a division and offered her a wave as she moved off. He rubbed his arm once she was out of sight, that bastard thing had hurt him pretty badly, even 20% of a shot like that was staggering, that didn't even include the impact with the tree.
At that moment he looked up and saw a hell butterfly heading to him, and smiled allowing it to land on an outstretched hand. His smile turned into a frown, it was from a Captain that he didn't know, a captain crow requesting his presence. He shook his head an headed back to his apartment looking for a response to his own application.
He was happy to find a badge for the third seat of the First division. his first choice, which he was happy to recieve.

Squad: ??
Position: ??
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell
Rode the six hundred.
