Ivy as she prepares to start a battle, always smiling.

» Personality:

A-ko is a strong person naturally. She seems to have a bright, happy disposition normally, with a grin that seems to be warm like a thousand suns. She has this care-free, child like innocence that dances around people's tongues, like a sort of just pure ray of happiness. A-ko, or Ivy as she tends to refer herself as, is a very bouncy type of person. She is absolutely loyal and protective, and doesn't seem to even be bothered by anything or anyone. She keeps her smile on all the time, and doesn't seem to have the capability to be knocked down a peg, or even pessimistic. She even seems to be able to take everything with a laugh and a hug : that's another thing, the lack of personal space. Ivy doesn't seem to understand the concept of ''personal space'' but that kind of makes her adorable, in some aspects. Ivy is also very protective of those she loves, or just people in general, almost like she has the need to help people.

Even with this, there is darkness.

Ivy, when in battle too long, seems to enter a trance. This trance is what named her the nickname of A-ko : self-serving, manipulative, and brutal, it seems like the trance Ivy is able to do things her normal self wouldn't. What's more disturbing, is that even with this new pair of traits, it simply adds to what she was before : masking the darker treats with sweet honey and almost destroying the sense of innocence she once had. This trance is brought on because of her childhood : when protecting Denko, she fought so long that she snapped, and thus birthed this mode. Even then, there seems to be something lurking deeper under the surface.

But one thing is undeniable : even though Ivy is happy and friendly, she is if anything, prideful. She has her pride and will claim it as her own : however, due to her personality and her seemingly boundless love, she doesn't act much on it. However, when she dislikes something, the trance side seems to slip into her actual personality a bit more, as if a virus. And if anything she dislikes in the world, other then passing dislikes, it's vampires. And Ivy seems to rely on her instincts some, having a defined sixth sense for things it seems.

Even Ivy's reminiscing of the past brought out the darkest in her heart.

» Background: A-ko or Anima as her name is, is a twin born to a man of the Gremory clan. Their long blonde hair and blue eyes come from their mother : but she had died after birthing the twins. After four years of their life being raised by their father and a nanny, he got married to this really, really pretty woman. She quickly became their mother, and Denko seemed to be happy. But A-ko had this sixth sense telling her something was wrong.

Life was okay, even when they took trips to dangerous places. Denko was often made fun of, and a few dedicated stalkers posted on a message board, naming her Denko to the internet masses : and then her friends began to call her that. And it caught on. So embarrassed, Denko just continued her life, trying to forget that stalker. After a while, she was sent to a convent, in order to restore her faith in the world, and to help her relax. A-ko was left behind, even as she tried to protect Denko from those masses : but in the end, she failed and got the nickname A-ko, for being aggressive if anything, and faced slew of accusations and lies on her own part. But like a champion, A-ko took it smoothly.

When Denko came back, that's when the pretty woman seemingly destroyed their peaceful lives. That was when the clan was destroyed, and the girls were left to their own devices, along with their other sibblings. Banding together, they met up with people from the Kiyoraka : and joined a clan that only has an elderly couple. Although they were not of blood, they still held potential.. so they began to learn the clan's way. A-ko was perhaps more adaptive, but she had yet the strength to fully learn. But it didn't matter : in that day, she understood something, as Denko was almost eaten by that hollow creature. That her dearest twin loved vampires : although A-ko felt the same draw, the same tug.. she turned it into hate. Because they almost killed Denko : even though it was a hollow, that fascination almost killed her.

So with her rage still bright, that day, she had sworn that no vampires would escape her.

» Soul State Evolution Stage 1 Appearance: A-ko's whole outfit changes to a gothic like style, with a tiara. The most notable change is the fact that her eyes are also slitted, and blood red in color : her canines are also extended, making her look like a vampire in more ways then one.

» Soul State Evolution Stage 1 Abilities:

-- Vampire Simile --
A-ko, appearing like a vampire, seems to have some of their typical skills. Such as enhanced strength, speed and reaction time beyond a human's level (up to around x4 times) and even a sort of innate sense of danger, allowing her to fight much more efficiently. This sharpens her natural instinct almost to foresight levels, allowing A-ko to almost predict when an opponent would attack. She also has a higher charm then normal, and seems to draw people to her very self : however, this is as far as she resembles vampires so far, having not met many powerful ones into which she could adapt her resemblance to. However, this very ability makes her immune to be changed into a vampire in any way and form.

A-ko has a natural capability of hunting : allowing her to easily convert her energy into one that can harm whatever she is hunting, such as holy energy for demons or dark energy for angels. She also has a wide range of hunting tools, many of which are attuned to her form, thus being usable only in this form [such as her trusty chainsaw] due to certain conditions. She also has the ability to track energy signatures in many ways : such as if a spirit being walked a place, she would be able to see the footprint clear as day. It also helps her track normally, such as determining patterns within footprints, or out of place things in the area. In fact, anything but a human can stand out to the girl : even gigai's have their own distinctive marks, allowing A-ko's tracking ability to be almost impossible to fool. However, she can be fooled : this is because she is inexperienced with her tracking ability as a whole, and is mostly using it out of instinct at this point.
