A light in the dark (open) [FINISHED]

Carter made his way into the house not hiding his spirit pressure at all, he wanted her to know he was there and that he wasn't trying to be sneaky. He wanted her not to run and to be honest was always the best thing. As he walked deeper into the house it became darker but not too dark that he was blind, he could still make out the out lines of crumpled papers, cans, glass, and in the far corner of the main room rested a mattress on the floor emitting a dank smell. Crinkling his nose Carter turned a corner and saw the stair case right in front of his being.

He counted 14 steps in all to the second floor and at the top stood a male figure that he couldn't quite make out. All Carter knew was that this was the person who had thrown him earlier in the day. with a slight purr the man slide out a sword and Carter groaned for it was a zanpukto. He drew out Nacuto and waited for Hiro to catch up with him, he would need Hiro to recharge his energy after he was done if a fight was to ensue.

The shadowed male took a single step down and his sword glinted in a eerie ghost light, he chuckled and opened his mouth revealing a toothy grin that spoke volumes of twisted insanity and malice at the world. He Charged and Carter closed his eyes bring his zanpukto to the ready as all of his energy condensed in his sword arm for his shikai attack 'Dim Light' he would need time though so he hoped the other two were right behind him.

[since Hirohoto entered the house first he will now post before Loubu, I don't mean to cause a fight and I am sorry if this is a problem for anyone]

" Traverse The Abyss, En Kaku no Kumo! " .. Hirohoto had eased his right hand to of unsheathed his Zanpakutō from his left side, and while doing so, his blade began to turn. It's handle had taken on an extended form, while it's blade had all but vanished in a shimmer of energy. Hirohoto's reiatsu had risen, and as Hiro's blade's handle had morphed into that of such a fine, iron pole; the blunt object itself had portrayed it's dark color. Hiro had ran forward, and while facing the hole of the pole towards that of the figure of the male before Carter, he had moved to jab such a Zanpakutō forward. Hirohoto was several feet away from the male, but all the same, such a dark haze had made it's way out of the Zanpakutō's hole. It was as if the blunt object had been leaking, before shooting forth a substance of it's own. Within the haze was a fine, negative energy. It was chilling at the sight, for the sight of it had almost sempt as if someone was gazing into a void. This haze had shot forth, though, and as it had made it's way to of pointed at the tip of the very sudden blast, the tip of such a power would of more then likely pierced forth and towards the shoulder of the hostile male. It would have flown by Carter's side, all the same. If not dodged, such a blow would seem quite deadly, and all the same, the darkness had left Hirohoto at such a disadvantage.

Everything was dark to him, Hirohoto could only see the silhouettes before him, during all of this.

Sensing an increase in reiatsu up in the second floor of the abandoned house Luobu threw all caution to the wind, bringing his sheathed Zanpakutō vertically infront of him, Luobu jumped as high as he could and quickly brought down his blade in a draw slaw, cutting his way into the second floor of the building and quickly intercepting the man charging at Carter. With a clash of blades Luobu smirks before declaring "Oi, no one touches MY friends!" Luobu's reiatsu began increasing at an incredible rate for one without his shikai.

With a rough shove of his blade Luobu managed to knock the assailant back clearing enough space between Luobu, the man, and Carter&Hiro. The strange man charged at Luobu with the intent of driving his blade into Luobu's stomach.

Carter opened his eyes as they hand now gone completely black, 'Dim Light' had fully powered itself as my zanpukto glowed with the light of the sun at full power, it's heat burning the walls close to me, feeling Hiro and Luobu's energy the heat would slide around them like water around a rock as I lunge at the male coming to impale Luobu. Passing Hiro the light from the blade made his black fog vanish allowing him to see once more.

Carter didn't strike the male's body but his zanpukto, as the heat burnt the man from being so close Nacuto slashed into the mans weapon as if it were butter to a warm knife, 'Dim Light' slices through any substance known to man if connecting and inflicts burns of the highest degree if it is too close to the opponent.

His vision blurred as the up keep from this nuclear attack was too much and would make him pass out in seconds....

"Hiro.... refuel please" He uttered as he collapsed, his blade back to normal.

.. In such a quick-paced action, Hirohoto had brought himself forward. He had finally closed the distance between himself and Carter, and whilst Hiro had left any bit of the hostile figure before us to Luobu, he had pressed the surface of his free hand down and upon the shoulder of Carter. Taking haste, a siphon of Hirohoto's own energy had been created. As his energy poured forth, as to of moved to fill Carter's reserves to an extent, Hirohoto's energies would be brought to their half-point. All the same, this had continued on; He was waiting for Carter to regain consciousness .. " Ah, Great.. " .. Hirohoto had muttered ..

Seeing Carter pass him by with his Zanpakutō ready too strike, Luobu ducks out of the way as Carters Zanpakutō comes into contact with the assailants, damaging/destroying it and burning the assailant. Afterwards Carter collapses and Hiro rushes too him, Luoobu feels Hiro's reiatsu cut in half and begins wondering whats going on, but realize's he should worry about it later.

It was all too obvious that Carter and Hiro were now counting on him too finish things up which slightly worried Luobu, after-all he still hadn't attained his shikai. With a shout of "Here goes nothing!" Luobu took the opportunity presented too him slipping past the assailants broken guard with his sheathed Zanpakutō Luobu quickly pulls off another Quick draw slash, aiming to cut the assailant from his left hip to right shoulder, if the attack hits the assailant would be incapacitated or dead.

Carter groans as he wakes up Hiro's energy pulling him back from sleep just in time to see Luobu slice into the man's neck, it wouldn't have mattered if he killed him or not the man's weapon that was a piece of his soul was ruined for good and his skin was all but melted to the bone. Still Luobu was doing well with the two vizards and Carter found he enjoyed him.

Sitting up Carter rubbed his head and nodded to Hiro, "thanks, take a moment and we will rest up enough to go see her, she isn't leaving. I feel it." he said as he slumped against a wall.

Looking to Luobu he nodded, "I'm happy you decided to stick around friend, you showed that reaper whose boss" Carter said as he nodded his head towards the dead man who was either helping or hurting the woman. either way they were a step closer and that's all he cared for, all he lived for was that next step.
