Natural Abilities:

Za Koa Skill: Za Koa skill is how much skill your character possess to manipulate the energy from the core. Due to being a demon of such a high level, Gilgamesh possesses a large amount of skill in manipulating his Za Koa energy. His Za Koa energy amount is also off-the-charts, being above most others just in sheer energy supplies.

Spells/Summoning: While Gilgamesh is mainly a sword fighter, and as such doesn't use energy attacks a whole lot (some of his swords have innate energy attacks), he is actually quite capable when it comes to using spells and summons. He can use special spells he has made quite effectively, and can use high-level spells as well.

Akuma Kyōdo: Due to the fact that he possesses a high amount of both raw Za Koa energy and Za Koa skill, he has a high-resistance Akuma Kyōdo. Weak attacks tend to not even faze him, as well as attacks from weaker people. He also has an unnaturally high resistance to energy attacks, being basically unaffected by standard Cero's and weak to average Kidō, able to take the attacks like a champ.

Jigoku Sokudo: This is the demons version of the Shinigami's Flash-Step, or the Arrancar's Sonido. Though Gilgamesh isnt a speed-based fighter, he does however possess a high skill and level in the use of Jigoku Sokudo, being able to outclass even captain-levels, though that may just be a matter of difference in power. At night his level of Jigoku Sokudo rises above the normal limits of speed, being far above that of Flash-Steps and Sonido.

Shifting Form: Like most, if not all, Demons, Gilgamesh can change his form at will, though he rarely does so. He prefers to use his true form than use the form of another, but if need be, he will shift his appearance, though he tends to keep some basic attributes when he does so.

Shishi Mōdo: Like most demons, Gilgamesh possesses a Shishi Mōdo form. This is the Demons equivalent of the Arrancar's Ressureccion. It gives Gilgamesh a major power boost, as well as new traits, new abilities, and a new appearance in general.

Mukō Jōtai: This is the next, and final basic form, of the Demon Species. Gilgamesh is able to use a Mukō Jōtai form, and just like his Shishi Mōdo, he gains a massive power boost, along with new abilities, new traits, and even a new appearance.

Kage Chōkyō-shi: This is the ability of Demons with at least a moderate-level of Za Koa and Za Koa skill to use various demonic, shadow, and spiritual energies to summon portals or gateways to other dimensions. Though Gilgamesh has his own form of this ability (though his form of it far outclasses this version), he can still use Kage Chōkyō-shi at a high level.

Bōru Shi: Bōru Shi is a massive burst of destructive energy a demon can unleash if they are at least at a moderate level of Za Koa skill and level of Za Koa energy. It starts by gathering energy from Za Koa, The Demon's Blood and any type of darkness. From there, it will form into a ball of darkness that can be used to unleash serious damage upon anything it hits; Resulting in a black explosion. Gilgamesh can use multiple Bōru Shi's in quick succession, a testament to his level of power.

Unique Abilities:

Immense Spiritual Power: Gilgamesh has been getting stronger ever since he was born, over fifty thousand years ago. Due to this fact, and that he was already a powerful demon at birth, his body contains an enormous amount of spiritual energy, so much that most other beings would be torn to shreds just from not being able to contain so much. His energy attacks possess a high amount of destructive power because of this, even though he is in fact a melee fighter at heart.

Spiritual Pressure: His enormous amount of spiritual power and spiritual energy causes an incredible amount of spiritual pressure to radiate from his body. Lesser beings have been known to faint, black out, be paralyzed, and even experience death, just from being near his body. When at full strength, even opponents of equal level would be stunned (not in the paralyzed sense of the word) by his ridiculous spiritual pressure.

Elevated Strength: Gilgamesh possesses a high level of physical strength. He has a large amount of muscle in his body, and is quite capable of delivering fatal blows with just a punch or a kick. His high physical strength allows him to deal stronger blows with his swords, as well as hold heavier swords like they are nothing more than feathers. Due to his highly-muscled legs, he also gains some speed from his physical strength as well.

High Speed: Gilgamesh can move quite quickly, despite his seemingly large body. Though it is mainly his high level of power that contributes to this, his well-muscled legs can give him an advantage in battles he takes part in, allowing him to move faster than others, even out-speeding captain-levels. Due to his high speed, his skill in Jigoku Sokudo also is quite high.

High Intelligence: Despite the fact that he acts stupid and tends to fail at his endeavors, he is actually quite intelligent and possesses a high amount of combat knowledge (mostly from experience though). He is able to understand opponents abilities quite well, even after just a few glimpses of said ability. He can also create detailed strategies in battle as well, able to lead armies, and can win battles with strategy alone. He can adapt to battle, though rarely does so on account of "Sword? WHERE?!".

Ridiculous Sword Mastery: Gilgameshs main way of fighting is through his peerless mastery over the blade. He has mastered basically every sword art in existence, as well as trained and mastered the use of certain swords, such as being able to use the Masamune blade (normally one of the most difficult swords to use), and is able to use it as though it is any normal sword. He has never lost a sword duel in his entire life of over fifty thousand years, and is known in many dimensions as a peerless swordmaster. His skill is so high, he has defeated stronger opponents just because of his skill with the blade. He has gained the title as "Legendary Swordsman" across many planes of existence, being known fro such skill in multiple dimensions.

Dimension/Universe Jumping: Gilgamesh possesses the power to instantly jump from dimension to dimension as though he can walk through the very fabric of space. He also possesses the ability to go from universe to universe: Being able to literally "jump" from video game universes, to manga universes, to the Platinum Hearts universe. Though, do unforeseen consequences of repeated use, he is now temporarily stuck in the Platinum Hearts universe, unable to leave or go back to the Final Fantasy universe. With this ability, he can go from the Demon World, to Earth without having to open a portal, and allows for faster travel. If he is touching someone else and wills them with him, he can teleport other people to dimensions he is jumping to as well, providing quick transportation to allies, as well as being able to easily capture targets or steal swords easily. Enkidu always travels with him, even if they don't touch when he dimension jumps.

Weapon Bank: Gilgamesh's main powers revolve around his "Weapon Bank". His Weapon Bank is actually a special dimension only he has access to: Under no circumstances would someone else ever be able to get in (plot purposes may cancel this out). At any time, he can instantly take a weapon from the Bank, though the actual weapon remains: Instead, he is "copying" it somehow, and as such is able to take a virtually limitless amount of that weapon out (though it seems to be limited to how many hands he has). By stealing, creating, or finding a new weapon, he an place a copy of it in the bank, and be able to take copies from it, and use it whenever he wants. Say he finds weapon "A", and puts it in the bank. If he has 2 arms, he can take 2 weapon "A"'s out of the bank, but the original copy would stay in the bank. He cannot place more than one of the same weapon into the bank. If he has 2 Ragnaroks, he cannot put them both in the Bank. He also cannot remove the original copy of a weapon from his Bank: If he places a sword into it, that sword will be there forever. The weapons currently in the bank are listed below:

Masamune

Description: The Masamune is a very long sword, at about 9 feet long it is one of the longest blades ever crafted. The blade has never been scratched, chipped, or broken in any way, a testament to its craftsmanship. Crafted over thousands of years ago, Gilgamesh discovered this sword in ancient Japan, and stole it from a man that was known for making swords of peerless perfection such as this one. At some point this sword was infused with Demonic Energy, and as such is even more durable then it was when Gilgamesh first found it. Its high cutting strength coupled with its length makes it an extremely deadly sword when used, but it requires a high amount of skill to use as well. Gilgamesh commonly uses this blade, along with a few others. This sword's main, and at his point only, ability is to create energy blades from slashing it. These energy blades are green in color, and can cut through virtually any object, and possess a high destructive force. The energy used for these are created from the sword itself, and requires no energy from Gilgamesh to be used. As they travel farther, they weaken and eventually dissipate. This allows for not only short to medium ranged attacks from the blade itself, but also long ranged attacks from the energy slices.

Brotherhood

Description: The Brotherhood sword is an odd-looking katana. It has a red tassel that hangs from the end of the hilt. The blade itself is blue and actually appears to be water, though it is in fact a blade. It ends in a hook at the end of the blade, which allows for grabbing things with the blade. The roots of this sword date back to almost 20,000 years ago. Gilgamesh had stolen this sword from a young human known as Tidus in an alternate universe. After stealing the sword, Gilgamesh quickly escaped from that dimension, and never appeared to Tidus at all. This swords main ability is the production, and control of water. If Gilgamesh slashes this sword, water spurts out of the tip of the blade, and can be used and manipulated by Gilgamesh. He can make the water float, strike at enemies, be used to put fire out, and even be used as a shield. The more Brotherhood's Gilgamesh uses at once, the more water he an produce, and the better he can control said water. If he were to use 8 Brotherhoods in his Shishi Modo form, he would be able to create enough water to sink entire islands, as well as manipulate it to such an extent as to create water clones of himself.

Buster Sword

Description: The Buster Sword is a massive, 6 1/2 foot long, 1 foot wide sword. It weighs close to 50 pounds (far, far above that of the average weight, which is only a couple of pounds at most). The sword has a red-ish hilt, and the blade is dark grey in color. It has 4 holes, 2 on either side of the Kanji. in English, the Kanji reads as "Fake", because it is just a copy of the real Buster Sword. When Gilgamesh was in the world of the 7th Fantasy, he obtained this sword, thinking it was the weapon of the mighty warrior known as "Cloud". Instead, it was a knock-off (though it should be noted that it was still a finely crafted weapon). The weapon has a few special traits, such as its innate power. It possesses a high amount of destructive force, due to its size, weight, and energy that courses through it. It is also highly durable and resistant, making itself a good shield from both physical and energy attacks alike. By pulling some of its energy to the surface of the blade, Gilgamesh can make it much stronger, as it becomes coated in spiritual energy, adding onto its destructive force and power. As a matter of fact, if Gilgamesh were to use 8 at once in Shishi Modo, and cover them all in their energy, he could produce enough force and energy to level an entire city.

Revolver

Description: The Revolver Gunblade is just as its name says: a sword that can also shoot projectiles like a gun. Its "hilt" is more like the handle of a gun, and it is black. The gun part resembles a revolver handle and firing mechanism, while the actual blade extends off of it. There is a tube on the blade that allows projectiles to be fired from, making it a gun as well as a blade. The sharp edge of the blade is actually extremely sharp, able to cut things quite easily and effectively. The blade ends in a very sharp tip, which also allows the sword to stab into things. Gilgamesh obtained this weapon in the world of the 8th Fantasy. After a young man that went by Squall found a new weapon, Gilgamesh cleverly snuck into Squall and co.'s camp, and stole the original Revolver. The main ability of the Revolver, is the ability to shoot very strong energy projectiles, that travel at the speed of an actual bullet. The speed and power of these projectiles give it a large amount of destructive force, enabling it to be used to decimate entire buildings with just one shot. The energy projectiles are of a neutral element, and as such suffer no weaknesses when it comes to shooting actual elements. The bullets are slightly above that of a Cero in power.

Ogre Sword

Description: The Ogre Blade is a rather odd, twin-bladed sword. It appears as though someone took 2 of the same sword, and just attached them at the bottom of their hilts. The hilt is red and gold, and has enough room to fit 2 hands instead of the normal one hand. The blades are green, with a silver outline and golden symbols that run along the length of each blade. The Ogre Blade is very lightweight, and allows for easy manipulation and use. Gilgamesh obtained this weapon in the world of the 9th Fantasy. Though not the strongest sword in this world, it was far from the worst. Seeing his moment to strike, he stole the sword and made away with it in his clutches. After taking it, he discovered its power. When wielding this weapon, Gilgamesh gains a substantial boost to his physical strength, and is able to put more force behind his blows. With 8 of these, his physical strength gets monstrously high, far above that of most others you would ever encounter.

Bardiche

Description: The Bardiche is Gilgamesh's signature weapon, even though it isnt actually a sword. Instead, it is a bladed staff that can be used in many fighting styles, and is about 7 feet long. The bottom half of the Bardiche is a dark red, and ends in a sharp golden point, that can be used for stabbing. The top half is black, until it reaches the area where the blade is located. Its blade is semi-crescent shaped, and has an open area in the back that can be used to catch an opponents weapon(s). It is unknown when and where Gilgamesh obtained or made the Bardiche. All that is known about it is, Gilgamesh has had it for a very long time, and it tends to be his go-to weapon for combat. It doesnt actually possess any special or unique abilities/traits, though it seems as though Gilgamesh actually fights better with 8 of them than any other weapon (while not relying on any special abilities or traits of the other weapons).

Judge

Description: The Judge is another staff weapon in Gilgamesh's arsenal, even though he himself is a sword fighter. This weapon is an odd one, as it has many clockwork-looking mechanisms on it. It has a long shaft that can be held onto for use, about 2 1/2 feet in length, while the top blade is 3 feet, and the bottom blade is 2 feet. The top blade was built and designed mainly for slashing and cutting attacks, while the shorter bottom blade is better for stabbing and thrusting attacks. Gilgamesh obtained this weapon in the world of the 12 Fantasy when he was going around searching for legendary weapons. After encountering a young boy and his friends, he ran away and ended up finding this weapon. Stealing it, he dimension jumped again to escape. This weapons main power is its ability to shorten its blades and extend them. They can get up to 10 feet long on either side very quickly, and as such make this a good surprise attack weapon. The blades can also shrink into the handle, disappearing from sight. This makes it useful for messing with an opponents head in battle, by blocking with the blade, and then shrinking it so the opponent falls forward, or some similar tactic.

Ragnarok

Description: At first glance, the Ragnarok blade does not look all that special. But in reality, it is one of the strongest weapons Gilgamesh currently owns. First, lets start with its appearance. It has a golden hilt that ends in a jewel-looking object. The cross guard is golden as well, and extends upwards and into the blade on either side. The blade itself is actually quite magnificent. It is extremely shiny and well-made. As a matter of fact, it is the epitome of crafted blades, above almost all others. It has symbols that run along the the blunt edge, up from the cross guard and runs about a foot and a half or so. When light reflects off of the magnificently crafted blade, it is almost blinding because of its finish and how well done it was made. Gilgamesh obtained Ragnarok in the realm of the 1st Fantasy. When 4 heroes were fighting a monstrous dragon creature that went by Shinryu, Gilgamesh quickly stole the Ragnarok sword from its clutches and made his getaway before anything bad could happen. Ragnarok is known mainly for one thing: Its cutting power. It lacks stabbing capabilities, however the bladed edge is so sharp and powerful, just by swiping it at a moderate pace could cut something miles away. The force exuded from the weapon is ridiculous, making it so virtually nothing is durable enough to take a direct hit. This blade is revered as one of the Legendary Blades, alongside Excalibur, Excalibur II, and Kilgorin. Because of its Legendary Status, it possesses its own energy, enough energy to make some Zanpakutō spirits look like wimps. This sword is easily on the level of a Zanpakutō in terms of spiritual energy.

Kilgorin

Description: The Kilgorin blade is an extremely evil sword, and even seems to possess an evil spirit. The hilt, cross-guard, and blade are all jet black (for the most part). The bottom of the hilt seems to have a skull-like object attached to it.The cross-guard comes up in two sharp points on either side of the blade, and has golden symbols on it. The blade itself is quite amazing and beautiful, though staring at it deeply may cause some troubling nightmares. The base of the blade is designed quite intricately, though it is symmetrical. As a matter of fact, the entire sword is symmetrical. The true power in this blade isnt its striking force, its sharpness, or even its energy qualities. It has a limited aspect of death. It can make plants wither and can even kill mice and other small mammals. It cant do much else to larger creatures or large plants.
