Training for Bankai.

Dang it, how do I end up in these messes? Thought Kuro as he looked at his surrondings. As far as he could see, he was in a forest. He had come to the hollow realm to eliminate low level hollows, however, he had heard of a man who was looking for a training partner, and Kuro wanted to become stronger. Now, as he looked around the forest, he was starting to regret his impulsive decision. His hand began aching, and Kuro knew it was those bite marks, reminding him of how he needed more impulse control. Ah, screw you! He thought at his hand, causing it to ache more.

When he reached the clearing, he noticed how all the trees had been chopped down. Most odd, he thought. Then he noticed the man with the snapping fingers. When he saw what they did, Kuro became excited at the prospect. He was hoping he could increase his swordsmanship to the next level, so he could become stronger.

"Hello. My name is Kuro Okami, member of squad 1. Are you the one who was looking for a training partner? If so, here I am. What are the rules?"

A former member? Then he must be quite powerful to have escaped the soul society. Kuro, being of squad 1, knew about what happens to resigned shinigami. Kuro drew his own zanpakto. No killing, that was good. And this man was Kazuki's brother, so Kuro knew what he could probably expect. Kuro took his fighting stance, and said:

"Shall we begin? I will make the first move." Kuro leapt at Hazuki, twirling himself so his feet slid on the ground and he sliced upwards; his zanpakto behind him, being held with one hand, aimed at Hazuki's face. Then Kuro slid to face Hazuki, ducking as he did so. Using both hands, he made a diagonal cut at Hazuki's legs, trying to draw blood. I WON'T be underestimated! He cried in his mind, planting his feet and leaping back a few feet.

What in the... What did he just do? Wondered Kuro as the man made his move. He definetely had felt the blade on his skin, but he hadn't spilt any blood. Ok... I'm officially freaked out. Kuro looked at his surrondings, noticing the chopped trees. He remembered how the man had been doing nothing but snapping when he had arrived, never moving an inch more. Oh crap... That can't possibly mean? The thought scared the daylights out of Kuro.

Kuro decided to try something new. He used 7 of the bite marks on his hand and place his reiatsu inside them. He pointed the outstretched palm at Hazuki, then fired the beams. As soon as they shot out, Kuro placed more energy into them, splitting them into 49 total beams all fanning out. When he found out where Hazuki would dodge, he would lash out with a vertical upwards slash, attempting to damage Hazuki's snapping hand.

Good. Got em' Thought Kuro as he saw Hazuki's hand. However, when he snapped his other hand, Kuro's heart nearly stopped. Because of this he shuddered, causing the slash to hit his back. Very painful to him but not as bad as losing an arm. Then, when Hazuki began charging, Kuro wondered what in the world was happening. He prepared himself, trying to ignore the searing pain on his back, his breath coming out in short gasps.

As Hazuki ran at him, time felt like it was slowing down for Kuro. He placed his zanpakto in front of him. When the attack came, it hit his zanpakto, breaking it into pieces, absorbing most of the impact. The rest of the attack hit Kuro, creating a wound that nearly pierced a lung. Uncouisness soon enveloped Kuro...

A few minutes later, Kuro awoke. He coughed up a mouthful of blood, his vision a bit blurry. He felt woozy from blood loss. He checked his front, treating the wound as best he could with kido. The bleeding was stopped, wut the wound was still open. He examined his surrondings, happy to be alive. He saw that Hazuki had left, and felt bad that he wasn't able to help him train more. Oh well. I guess he was just too far out of my league... Then he realized he was in Hueco Mundo without any support and a major injury. He gulped, and began to scurry back where he came from. He hoped someone else would come to help that guy in his training. He was Kazuki's brother, after all. If he got a chance, he would tell Kazuki. He doubted he got to see his brother much, since he was a former member...

He stumbled out of the forest, making too the gate. It was odd, usually hollow's attacked lone soul reapers. Even more amazing, considering he was injured. His zanpakto was even broke, for pity's sake. Then he realized. That guy's spiritual pressure probably sent them flying mile's away! Suddenly he was just a small amount thankful for that final attack, as it had made his journey home much simpler. If he saw Hazuki, he would have thanked him, even though he had ripped his chest open. Because Kuro is the type of person who easily forgives and forgets. As he reached the portal, he looked back, hoping Hazuki had made it out ok...
