As far as how I feel about this issue, I believe we have more then enough Shinigami for now which is why I have been limiting their Shikai, lowering their start off tiers and etc. Eventually, I may stop giving out Shikai even since they are overpopulated. And right now, human's are pretty set when it comes down to the numbers. They are increasing in popularity most likely because they have the potential to play a bigger role in the grand scheme of things. Many path's for them to walk and what not. I may also allow a select few to reach 0 tier as well.

But this discussion isn't about those two races, it's about all the others. From my side of things, I'm mostly focused on Arrancar, Ziamichi's and Vizard's as my primary focus along with more people joining antagonist orgs. Therefore, I'm going to start off with the Arrancar. We obviously need more of them if we are gonna have anymore interesting event style fights and to keep the balance between the Protagonist and Antagonist side.

As such, if you make a quality app and sign up for the Nuevo Espada, I or Chaozi will be giving you 1, maybe even 0 tier characters so we can fill these spots up. In return, however, I expect you to really put effort into these characters, don't half-ass it and make SURE you will be able to play that character and stay active with it. If this plan doesn't work, we will simply strip away title, rank and tier of said characters that are put through this program.

As far as The Vizard Corps are concerned on the protagonist side, we need more Vizard signing up for this Org in order to get things moving with them. So, in light of all this, if you make a Vizard Character to join up with the Corps, I will be giving you 2, 1 and possibly 0 tier depending on the rank you take. You must be sure to write quality, stay active and RP this character.

On The Kokuryuteishi side, I require more Commanders and Lieutenant Commander's. So, like the others, if you make a character to join up with this org I will assign 2, 1 and possibly 0 tiers depending on which spots are open by the time your character is finished.

With Ziamichi's, I'm focusing on them more and making them more integrated into the site. So anyone who makes a Ziamichi will typically start off at 2 tier since it's like making dual profiles. If the app is really good, I may give you 1 tier as well. If it's exceptional, I'll end up giving you some type of 0 tier. I am also looking for more people to join their org which is The Yayjuu, people who join that will also get 1 or 2 tier.

Sin Fall is doing alright, but we still need member to fill up those spots as well. So don't forget about them and those crazy Demon's and I'll end up giving away 1 tier for most who sign up for this org. 0 tier in special cases.

Finally, we need more human's to join Force Feedback. Rena will enjoy it and I will be making more efforts to make this orgnazation more advertised since I know most don't know of it's existence. As such, human's joining this org will get nice pay, 1 or 2 tier and a decent spot.

Other then that, Demon's and Iramasha's are fine by my ranks, the more the merrier in their case. Human's and Shinigami's are well populated. Vizards and Ziamichi's are clearly rising in number and now we most focus on the QUincy and Hollow.

I'm considering revamping the Hollow's to give them advancements over the past 400 years like I did with the humans. Possibly Cybernetic Upgrades, New Forms and making them more relevant in the plot. Since obviously the main reason people don't make them is because they are typically seen as bait for hero's to kick ass. Expect changes in their template soon.

When it comes to the Quincy Race, even in the Bleach Canon they are pretty much irrelevant to the plot. Most fan's don't even acknowledge them, so I'm at a lost at what to do with them. I'll let the people who have Quincies continue to RP then, but I am seriously considering dropping them since their race numbers had also dwindled to a hand full in the anime/manga and on here. If anyone has any idea's, feel free to shout, otherwise, I may just drop em'

As for mod souls, I was considering revamping em', but they are also on the chopping list since only two exist on this site. No point in going through all that work unless someone has a plan for them.

I will also want people who are interested in getting more involved with the site's plot to try and contract me in PC or PM on the site. I only want people who are active, been here awhile (at least one month or two), can RP on a good level and can work with me and have patience. For now, I want people to focus on their own sub-plots and have their own thing going on instead of worrying about some huge site plot, but for those who want to be included in it please contact me, I will get get a list and we all will converse idea's and plots, be sure put you in an important role in the overall site plot and get things moving.

Other then that, I have no other input to say. Fuck the haters and fuck the nay sayers, if you wanna get somewhere, work with me and I'll be sure to have it pay off.

The Arrancar and Hollow numbers are dwindling compared to other races and that is an obvious statement. What i ask any member reading this is: Why has the Canon Antagonists fallen so far? As the Leader of the Espada, I have been trying to resurrect the future of the Arrancar race before it is pretty much wiped out and I have been unsuccessful alone. However members tend to leave and go Inactive thus making the Espada numbers drop and make them look rather empty and stupid compared to their rivals: The Shinigami. After all, who cares for a 6 man Espada out of the 10 that I need? That is why I created a request for Sisters that follow the Cero Espada's bloodline which can be found here.

Also, does one realise that the Espada, the Guard AND fraccion earn yen over a weekly basis? They are an organisation after all and Ashlei has pockets. So in short the incentive here would be money, and positions. We have Espadas 7-9 free for Arrancar to join and The Espada guards are looking for people. However to join them you either need to be one of Ashlei's sisters or prove your worth against the current Superior or Vice guard. Here are the listings for the Espada and what we are missing.

From what I am seeing Mod-Soul are very lacking in all variables, since Matthew is going to kill his own soon; It would leave me as the only one with a mod-soul. As of lately I am going to start put more thought in re-creating Mitsou so he can have some role with in plot line for the Mod-Souls or have someone create one. Understand that where Frost pointed out that they were useless, We can either remove them or make them a NPC race.

~Modsoul's Plot~

Seeing over the hundreds years, Modsouls were used only to have one basic function to service under the Shinigami's thumb just so their Gigai would not be destroyed. Since first hundred years of development; One Shinigami took a step out after the mass murder of another village in a remote village for the souls to create more mods souls. He/she has been gathering mod souls, and creating a society of them even giving them bodies that they were never to have. They would be granted a body with magical traits to fight back against the Shinigami. Truly the creator of this society didn't want them to take revenge, so one of the strongest and brightest mod-soul had killed their leader and took his magical blade 'Minako', A lost demonic blade infused with an powerful relic, and began to rule this society. They would slowly and surely taken their revenge on the Shinigami.

Today in 2411, Mod-souls would be called Soul Shifters... Several of these being have been detected within the living area of the Soul Society, in a great mass alone, by the Second Division Intelligent but only weaker ones have been called out. Unknown to even them, some have taken form of captains and others maybe thousand as division members, while real Shinigami were kidnapped into the Quiet Society of Soul Shifters and made to work. Yet they were still able to use their Swords in full Bankai, copy the image, sound, and spiritual energy of the shinigami. Within the Society, Shinigami were stripped of their powers; thanks to the development in technology today, they are slaves to even the race that enslaved them. While they would live their lives, as Shinigami.

-What are Soul Shifters- (Basic and will explain it more if the idea goes through)
It is basically an evolved form of Mod-Souls. They are those who are given a body and began to attach to it. Since they don’t have their own spiritual energy over their own they are to copy and steal another’s races. They can only copy Shinigami and Humans since anything else are too complicated of energy pattern. They also take up their image, memories, possibly a good amount of their feelings, energy imprint, and an actual copy of their Zanpakutô and abilities. (You can only add onto the Natural abilities; maybe one to each of their Shikai and Bankai but nothing more than that.) Basically they become double-gangers. They can only copy one Shinigami not more than one. If their copy of Zanpakutô is broken, they turn back into their normal self.

Since the Sin fall seems to be only Demon Related Object out there, I am going to put in a Royal Demon Court out there. Due to fact that there are not only evil demons in Demon world nor only good. These are the Hierarchy of Demon world, The King and Queen, The advisers, The Heads of each of the important clan of demon; which have to be some of the strongest//or//smartest out there in the demon world as the high council, the Royal Guard, Generals, etc. These are the demons who are true the Hierarchy to believe that Touketsu will never return to them and continue to move on, both good and bad, making this Hierarchy flawed like any sort of government. This is the original government in which the demon world has followed. I wish to actually run this Organization do to One of My Characters relations; if it is approved by Frost's standards. I will also be setting things up to go with as well as the history of demon after Touketsu's seal and ruling. This Organization/Kingdom format can be open to all races but Humans, Modsouls, Quincy, and Shinigami. But you can't be in any higher then generals if you not a demon or born of royalty in the demon world.

The Tsuineda Technique
The twin bow is a technique that the Tsuineda Clan was named after because of their signature bow or crossbow having an "X" shape that is explained to make the reishi arrows stronger and quicker by adding more power in the minimal releasing power, but a special amplification bangle is needed due to it heightened requirement for the amount of reishi. Though the Ishida Family invented the bangle first, The Tsuineda Bangle was specially designed to amplify the reishi intake by three times rather than twice as much demonstrated in the Ishida Bangle. Aside from the bangle, the twin bow technique allowed them to perform more devastating damage within their race's signature speed while opened up to more capabilities like Umeko Tsuineda's Kaunta-Atakku, which is capable of using the attacker's projectile attack against the attacker. Due to the separation between the Tsuineda and the other clans, this technique was kept a secret and each member of the clan was drilled to never reveal anything about the technique other than its capability of enhanced effectiveness, so the other clans or enemies will not learn about it, even if they tried to use sensing ability like the Arrancar's Pesquisa. The way that the Traditionalists preferred is to make the technique instinctive rather than learned, keeping the younger generations of Tsuineda Quincy from knowing about the details that they could use to teach others, leaving the true knowledge of the technique in documents separated by the elders.

Sugiuras

Well, i'm just getting them back into the fray, most of their information and stuff that i have, is still here and i'll simply explain anything people need help with, in pm's. Simply put, the main reason my race declined is due to close friends who were making a big part of them. If people will notice, they get alot of benefit, by making a sugiura clan member, or character. Not only do they have two stages that are on the level of shikai and bankai, but they are allowed one more, that goes past that level. Since i don't have many, people would be able to get a 1 or 0 tier, with the full stages, granted they have good rp skill, a good head on their shoulder, and good attitude.

As for getting them into the over all plot, they're pretty much aligned with most good organizations, on this site. So for people who want to make heroes, then come at me in a pm. as far as people who enjoy antagonist's, i could make a possible group for sugiuras, with saeko as the ring leader, who want to bring the kingdom down and take over the land, and maybe team up with other possible evil organizations in order to help them grow.

I'm making the king, revamping the queen, and i have big plans for them, to start over and make anew, but this will depend on the site memebrs and how popular the race becomes, i do ask, that even if they don't and i try my hardest, that i still get to keep them. on another note, i pretty much like the idea for quincies, and mod souls, well momo gave her idea, not only that, if people want to come to me for request's for character's to give more members to a specific group, pm me with an idea, and i will do anything that you'd like, granted you're respectful and a bit patient. That's my input, so take it into consideration, chao!

Band of Archers:
ESPECIALLY since the Quincy have suffered greatly centuries ago, during the massacre caused by Radioactive, the few that have survived and kept the race going should hold large, unbreakable bonds with one another, similar to family ties. This is done in order to be able to stand strong against another mass-scale assault, with the odds in their favor, perchance. I recommend the creation of an organization, possibly a "Band of Brothers", Quincy Style, where the quincies watch one another, and have each other's back, in order to keep the race strong and thriving. The organisation can provide quincy tools, the ability to share knowledge pertaining to techniques and abilities, and lastly, a compassionate environment to gill up their hearts with Vigor. Weekly Payments, activities for the members to partake, allies and support, and the works should all be available for use in this group.

That is the basis for my idea, as for the Mod Souls... I cannot contrive anything useful for them.

With the issue being popularity, raising the power and acceptance tiers of the races may not be the answer we’re looking for. Sure, people would be interested in getting a strong character, but if it isn’t one they’re interested in making, then eventually their interest will taper off and the character(s) will fall into disuse. That being said, I think it’s important that its shown, not just said, that characters from every race can and do stand on equal footing with one another. People forget that when they make a hollow, they aren’t making the cannon fodder beings that get slaughtered; they are making a intelligent hollow(typically) that is capable of causing much more damage than the drones we use for other posts. The issue isn’t in power, because that balance issue has already been worked out; it lies in interest itself.

People like Shinigami because they’re the main antagonist of the show, and the show is what gets people interested in this community in the first place. Now, we can all hold our breath for Kubo to do something interesting with the Quincy, Mod Souls, Hollows, and so on, or we can come up with something different. I’m done holding my breath, just in case people haven’t noticed.

Beyond Shinigami and Human being that premier races of Bleach though, they possess other factors that make them more attractive to play than Hollows, Quincys, and Mod Souls. Kidou, the different Hado arts, the nigh infinite possibilities of Human powers and Zanpaku-tou abilities. The quincy arts are incredibly limited(as in we only know of a few of them, and that probably isn’t going to change until/unless Quincys become important again), people forget that Hollows by their very nature have the same infiniteness of possibilities with their “natural” abilities. Power and Money are decent incentives, but what people are looking for is impact.

So maybe the Hollows need to launch a full scale assault of Soul Society? Maybe the Mod Souls need to stage an uprising? Maybe the Quincys need to do something sufficiently bad ass? All possibilities, but I think it’s important to note another thing; organization size. The Gotei is a larger organization(I’m talking about the organization’s scope not site population) than most of the other orgs. There is more room for people to be a part of. So is the answer to make all of the orgs just as big? That’s how we end up with organizations looking half empty. Maybe we need to scale down the size of organizations then?

I’m just tossing around different ideas that have come to mind thus far. Part of me would toss up a few other arguments, however. Is it a good idea to try and increase the popularity of these races? Already, we have so many characters on this site; as of the census that UHCM took, 219 characters apparently that are active. This becomes an issue when we do full site events; how do you fit all of those characters into a thread or two? I agree its an issue that there are so many more Shinigami and Humans than the rest of the races(50% of the site is those 2 races after all), but I think that simply putting limiters on the acceptance rates and strength of Shinigamis and humans might be enough to dissuade most.

Also, there is an issue of canon characters; the Gotei has more surviving members from the show than any other organization. Last I checked, the only surviving original Espada members were Grimmjow and Ulquiorra(and only cause he was brought back from the dead). Demons, Iramasha, Ziamichi, and Sugiura are all custom races that can’t have any canon characters, and the Mod Souls and Quincys have 1 and 2 respectively, unless you count those 3 mod souls that Urahara made back during one of the filler arcs and that hung around for the very very very beginning of the Arrancar arc before fading into obscurity and oblivion. How many of the Shinigami are holdovers from the show?

I think there are some good ideas in this thread already, so take what I was saying with a grain of salt. Overall, if we’re looking for incentive to play Hollows, Quincys, Mod Souls, and even Sugiuras, I think we need to show those races having some success and leaving an impact on the site history. Demons are the third ranked race on site right now, and you know what they did? They FUCKING INVADED SOUL SOCIETY with Ender. Have any of the “low count” races done anything nearly as significant? I think giving some background for those races, and having them leave a footprint in the sites history would go a long way in boosting their popularity.

Obviously the rates of 'unpopular' races are dropping drastically. I, like many others, have noticed and want to take action. In my opinion, we should cut off applications for certain species until the levels of organisations and races have evened out. Even before the story line of bleach, the quincy had been near extinction. I second Raen's idea of the, 'band of brothers'. I wouldn't mind to make a few hollows/quincys or anything to get their activity up.

New possible idea:

As for vizards, to play a larger role, suggestion of a antagonist vizard group? Rebelled vizards that didn't believe in the ways of soul society/The Vizard Crops. This would also bring up the activity on Vizards as well as the lowering number of antagonists. Maybe something along the lines of 'The shiwang' or something... They would be allied with the Nuevo, Sin fall and The Kokuryuteishi. Possibly, we could do the same with Ziamichi's.
