Rihiku Hitsugaya
~ A mans pride is worth more than the most expensive jewel. The pride of a dragon... that cannot even be compared to the pride of a man ~

-------------------------------------------------------
Today was certainly an important day for a certain someone. That someone being a killer of both Shinigami and Hollow alike making his true loyalties seem like a shroud of mystery. Not even he was sure what he was fighting for anymore but he knew his pride and honour would take him down the correct path. This man was sometimes called the Azure dragon, sometimes even the purge of Las Noches but now most recently he was under the title of: the Frozen betrayer. Such a pretty name for such a man to hold as he walked down the corridors of the sereitei. Around his neck was a red choker connected by several chains to four men standing with long poles to escort him to his fate. For where he was heading was the captain commanders room where he would seek his final judgement. it's not like he really cared about where he was going as it was nice to finally get the hell out of the cage he had to call home for a good month.
He was trapped in the sereitei prison for acts against the Gotei which he chose not to deny. he knew the truth and wasn't going to waste his breath on simple shinigami or central 46 members until he had gotten used to what he was walking into. that may sound foolish, but it is how the man works. the corridor stretched up to the captain commanders office where they would sit with a single table and giant room wasting as much space as possible. Well at least it used to look like that when he came here before. As he walked with the four guards, the frozen betrayer noticed a few open doorways into rooms that were attached to the corridor. People were inside, each one looking relatively smart and probably from the first division but every one he walked past kept their distance and didn't look away. He let out a sigh and kept walking before opening his mouth to speak.
"You know I can walk the rest on my own..." After he finished his sentence one of the guards smashed him around the hip with their staves. he let out a slight groan but didn't flinch at all. Then the guard beside the one that attacked spoke. "You have not been given permission to speak. Be silent and keep walking." The man couldn't help but retaliate through his next sentence. "I never gave you permission to respond. Shut up and let me walk the rest you idiots." After finishing that sentence, the man that previously attacked him swung harder but down onto his head. All the frozen betrayer did was chuckle as it hit him rather hard and cause him to stop mid step. "Alright, have it your way." A few seconds later, they had reached the large double doors into the Captain Commanders chamber. the guards in front of Rihiku both knocked the door in unison before opening and the five men walked in.

Commanding Captain Jenna Jade Water
Jenna was hard at work on her laptop; moving files, sorting out paperworks and reviewing applications for new graduates. On top of that, she has a serious problem when she discovered an overgrown seed in possession of a gang in the Zaraki District. It was wrapped in a cloth normally found on Earth rather than the cloths that are found in the Soul Society. Considering it as unusual, she kept the seed in the cloth and by her side. Jenna has no idea what it is and where it came from. All that mattered was its reiatsu was similar to the demons of Hell and should not be taken lightly. There are cases when humans suddenly melted and reformed into a hive that spawns Soul-Walkers, a new kind of demon that is weak, but easy to populate for an overwhelming efficiency. Few of her shinigami already encountered few of these incidents and reported that if things get worse, they would request more hands. What is really strange was its origins are usually in the boundary of Karakura Central. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and the guards entered with the infamous Rihiku Hitsugaya, the Frozen Betrayer.
"Hitsugaya-san." Jenna spoke with some respect while displaying no gravity in the situation. "I have read the profile of yours and I would say a compliment. But the guards around you will just feel uncomfortable. Guards, you are dismissed and I'll send a hell butterfly to call in someone from a prominent family. The Kuchiki Family." Jenna said before one of the guards was about to speak in protest. "That is not your decision. Now go. If he really is a threat, I would have more men coming with you four." Jenna shot down that guard as she stood up. The guards bowed and left the room as a hell butterfly entered and landed on her finger. "Yoko Kuchiki, this is Commanding Captain Water. Come to my office immediately." Jenna spoke to the hell butterfly before sending it away. She looked at Rihiku as he stood alone in the room, Jenna smiled gently. "You're more handsome than what I saw in your profile, Hitsugaya-san. I did not expect you to beg or to kneel, so stand proud of yourself as I did before I was the commanding captain. I know of your crimes and I'm willing to put them aside if you AND Yoko could do something for the good of Gotei 13. Before that, lets wait for Yoko." Jenna briefed to Rihiku while waiting for Yoko to come.

The Kuchiki Manner was all but quite today after the events that took place on Earth the previous day. Many of the Earth's Major population centers were attacked in a brutal assault lead by some of the most powerful members the Nuevo Espada, The Kokuryuteshi and Sin Fall members. The horrifying use of sheer power to take over London was a sight that most human's and even Shinigami will not forget anytime soon. The significance of this attack was that it was a confirmation from all the organizations who wished Death upon Earth and The Soul Society that a new Dimensional War was ready to begin. It sent shock waves throughout all sectors, but one woman used this tragic event in order to turn someone else's own personal disaster into a new beginning.
Sometime during the course of those terrifying events, Yoko decided to take advantage of the chaos happening in order to help fulfill a promise she gave to a special many months ago. With her mind set-up, Yoko would then go down into the underground chambers of the Seireitei to meet Rihiku Hitsugaya, the man whom she gave her word to help out of his despair. Appearing like a angel from the light, she would then give it her best to show Rihiku there was still promise for a new tomorrow. After she began explaining the situation to him about what was happening on Earth, Yoko would ask the Frozen Betrayer to turn a new leaf and help protect those whom he once killed. It was a long shot, but if the Captain Commander could see just how much of an asset Rihiku was to the Gotei 13 in combat, maybe, just maybe he could be free'd from his icy prison.
And by the miracles of above, Rihiku, for some reason or another, accepted her offer to do battle on the side of justice and the hope of a new beginning to redeem his shattered reputation amongst the dirty deeds he's done in his time. Thus, the icy duo would then emerge directly into the hellish war zone that was Cairo. The pair would go on to fight side by side in order to make a difference in this city in the midst of a demonic revolution. Recording each second of Rihiku's glory, Yoko would plead with to the gods above that this evidence of the ice felon's change would be enough to free him the shackles of his sorrow given to him by his prison.
When the battle was finally over and the footage saved via a special kidou Yoko had designed, she would then return to the Soul Society with Rihiku by her side; prepared to deal with any consequences that may lay in their way. It didn't matter to her what awaited them, with all of her might she would change the tides for Rihiku no matter what. There was just something about her will that would not be broken despite the impossible odds she was up against from both sides; The Soul Society and Hueco Mundo. Both sides wanting Rihiku's head on a platter, but Yoko still held her ground in between to protect the icy warrior.Even when they took Rihiku away, Yoko swore that with the actions both he and her choose to take that day, the path of his cold life would begin to change very soon.
Thus, when the judgement day of Rihiku had arrived, Yoko would be seen standing atop of The Kuchiki Manner's rooftop staring into the misty sunrise. In the cold morning breeze, the gorgeous looking Kuchiki could be seen wearing a lengthy sky blue kimono that blew gently in the breeze with her beautiful, overlong flowing hair that started out as a white color on the top, a crystal like color in the mid section and the rest turns to black with a strange design on her hair that is usually seen in pictures she takes. Tugging on her white scarf that had a pattern of black stripes, Yoko opened each of her spiral shaped eyes to the world around her.
Those blue colored eyes would pierce the morning skyline as she mentally prepared for this day to come. Taking a deep breath as she saw the hell butterfly rely the message Jenna had given it, Yoko knew it was time to start this cruical day for Rihiku. "Widen my perception and show me no lies, Rekōdo Idō!" Yoko cried out into the air, activating a special kidou that took the form of a small sphere of light the size of a disk that materialized beside Yoko. With this special light, Yoko would use it in order to show The Captain Commander the true Rihiku in battle.
"The day has finally arrived..." Yoko uttered, waiting since November of 2410 for this judgement to be passed. On her command, Yoko sent out her own hell butterfly's to notify servants of the Kuchiki clan to transport her to the Seireitei via portal. Since, one of the servants to the Kuchiki Clan had a special ability that allowed him to open portals anywhere he had been. And, thanks to his connections to the Kuchiki Clan, he would be able to easily transport Yoko to the first division.
So, without wasting anymore time, a group of three escorted Yoko Kuchiki to the barracks of Division One. It wasn't a pin-point move, but it would only take a couple of minutes to reach their destination. This was more then enough time for Yoko to build up nervousness and anxiety over what could happen. Biting her lip, many thoughts rushed through her head about what could happen during the duration of this meeting. Maybe Rihiku really could be taken away, or even worse, maybe she herself could be imprisoned; losing any chance of her saving Rihiku from his tomb.
Shaking her head after a bit, Yoko put those thoughts aside as they all appeared outside of the open doors of the 1st division Captain. Taking a look at each of the men beside her, Yoko simply shook her head and said; "I thank you greatly for this, but your assistance won't be needed after this. I must face this journey alone. Please, simply wait for me near-by and I shall alert you of what has happened..." Bowing before Yoko, the three men would then be seen walking off to an undisclosed location away from the room.
With them out of the way, Yoko would then gulp slightly as she made her way into the room that belong to the Captain Commander of The Gotei 13. Where things would go after this, she wasn't sure, but Yoko was determined to see this thing til' the end. Nothing could stop her now as she busted through the doors of the first division Captain's Office.
And, in a soft voice, Yoko spoke; "Rihiku, I am here..." Smiling a bit at him despite his scruffy condition, Yoko was happy to see that he was still alive after all that. Turning her attention towards the Captain Commander, Yoko only had these few words to say; "This has been a long time coming, but, I believe it is time we decide the fate of Rihiku, Captain Commander Jenna..." Yoko spoke in a more quiet voice as she bowed her head and prepared to seat wherever Jenna had asked her to sit.
Now, the ball was in Jenna's court. What happens now will determine if the future between the icy pair was meant to be, or another tragedy in Rihiku's life.

Rihiku Hitsugaya
~ A mans pride is worth more than the most expensive jewel. The pride of a dragon... that cannot even be compared to the pride of a man ~
- Spoiler:
-------------------------------------------------------
Rihiku stood in the middle of the room looking somewhat out of place. His blue jacket had been torn quite a bit in the battle that had previously taken place in Cairo and he had little time to recuperate as when he re-entered Soul Society, there was a crowd of guards waiting for him. It's not like he was surprised that was going to happen but it did mean his sword was taken from him again because he wasn't rightfully given it. Yoko merely stole it and gave it to him to break him out of prison and join the battle. Again, he really didn't mind. But was it that he really didn't mind? or that he didn't care?
The way he was standing in the barracks of 1st Division didn't appear at all casual but not formal either. He had his arms crossed and looked dead at the captain commander with eyes that could shatter glass. Well, most that managed to see his smile would usually end up dead with spikes through their entire system. Even though he was ready to drop his Frozen betrayer name, he still had the viscous methods of battle he had always grown up to use. However now wasn't the time to be reflecting on his behaviour and preferences. He needed something from the Captain Commander and made sure to say it before Yoko arrived.
"May i make a small request?" Rihiku's voice was somewhat regal as he sounded like he came from a royal family but was really just his brought up accent. His brother didn't develop a proper voice like his but that could be for any reason. Rihiku looked at the desk that Jenna had her Laptop on with keen eyes as that was where his sword was being held captive. After it being taken from him upon coming back from battle, this would obviously be the best place to take the frozen blade. "Can you return my blade to me before Yoko arrives? I returned her before she did so she probably doesn't know about my... rude re-entry to the realm. I don't need to make her worry so I'd prefer it if it looked like nothing happened to me when i came back."
It's not like Rihiku was going to just get his sword back. the worst case scenario for them was that Rihiku would use his sword to escape like the devil he was. But that was what he used to be. Just then though, Yoko came rushing through the doors making his words completely pointless as there was no time to even breath after he said 'worry'. "Yoko...." She was in the room, and it made Rihiku feel a little uncomfortable about everything. However he had to remain tall in this so he didn't move from his position, nor did he unfold his arms. he did however look out of the giant view to his left where he was standing. he could see all of the Sereitei that Ashlei wanted to destroy. Why would she want to remove this place from existence? She never explained that to him when he was still at las Noches.
Rihiku did chuckle though when Yoko wanted to decide Rihikus 'fate'. This was truly the first time anyones taken his own fate out of his hands. he closed his eyes and chuckled at the floor as if to hide the fact that he found it funny. But then he looked up with that stern expression again as though time just bounced back on himself and he never laughed. he really was a hard man to understand...
"Please.... Continue..."

Before Yoko could arrive, Rihiku made a request to have his swords back. That hardly phase Jenna's calm nature. "The swords will be given back after a certain criteria is met." Jenna answered to Rihiku. She read his history and knew that there is a possibility that he would try to escape like he did recently before. Now that Yoko came in, Jenna could brief them. Judging by Yoko's tone, she has feelings for Rihiku; the name she first called upon was also noticeable evidence of that suspicion. Interesting...Yoko wanted both her and Jenna to decide on it instead of just Jenna on her own. Let alone having brief discussions with the other captains. Rihiku cued Jenna to continue as Jenna stood without any gravity...her haori left hanging on the wall behind her was an obvious evidence to her non-seriousness. "I have read about BOTH of you two. Rihiku's attempt in redeeming himself was rather unsatisfying for the other shinigami, but I can see more than just that. Yoko, a Kuchiki has a great deal of trust in you. She even helped you escaped, risking her own life. The reason that Yoko was not arrested before was the same reason I chose to let the guards leave us alone. A trust chosen by me to form between us. Now. Familiar with this little trinket?" Jenna explained, then asked as she revealed an overgrown seed resting on an earthling's cloth. After hearing their responses, Jenna said, "I found it in the Zaraki District and it displayed an unusual amount of demonic reiatsu. I was advised not to directly touch it and use the cloth from Earth to keep it from touching the reishi that made up the Soul Society." Jenna will learn that if Rihiku was working for the demons before, he would have recognized the reiatsu from the seed.
"Because of this, I feared there is another person seeking to end this paradise. I looked through the records and found this." Jenna spoke before giving Rihiku a folder with pictures of a demon and the profile under the name, "Vohlis." Jenna lets Rihiku review the folder for a while. "I will grant you two pardons of all your crimes if you two chose to do something for me. Investigate whether or not Vohlis is still alive. He was reported killed by a child named, "Hanako Shikijou" and it has been eight years since that incident. I'll alert the Yuudeshi Network about you two's task and they will not get in the way in general. Do not expect full cooperation. Remember, this seed was matching the signature of Vohlis and I wanted to know if he is still alive. If you two came across opportunities to help the Gotei and our allies, you are free to take the opportunities within reasons. I'll do what I can to keep the main heat off your backs. Clear?" Jenna briefed. "Recite your promises and I'll grant you your swords back, Rihiku." Jenna spoke while using her laptop to record the promises so if Rihiku was straying, she could have Yoko replay it to remind him.

Taking another look at Rihiku before her Captain Commander started speaking, she could see more in detail about what could have happened before she arrived. From the looks of it, those boorish guards must have roughed him up before she could arrive on the scene to plead for Rihiku. She has always known the guards to be a bit aggressive and ready to jump the gun such as from occasions where she saw other prisoners being escorted to or away from the Seireitei. It really got under her blood about why they would do this to Rihiku, but she had no time to indulge these feelings anymore. All that mattered was getting him out of this sitaution once and for all. The time for vengeance could come later as she saw each of their dirty faces before entering the room and her own men were placed outside not too far away from them.
So, with a slight sigh escaping from her soft and frosty lips, Yoko would pay close attention to the Captain Commander's words. While listening, though, she felt kind of fluttered that the Captain Commander would describe her in such a way. It made Yoko feel much better about the actions she took in freeing Rihiku. If Jenna Jade Walter could stay on her side throughout the duration of this trial, it would mean a greater chance of this mission being a complete success. It was something very exciting for Yoko feel at the moment.
However, when she said a trust was formed between the three of them, that's when the possibilities were awakened within Yoko's mind. If Jenna was on their side, there could be a reduced chance of Rihiku serving hardcore time like he was before. With this seed of trust, Yoko would milk it for all it's worth no matter what lay down the road ahead. So, with that, she listened even further to what her Captain Commander had to say. When she got to the point of bringing up the cloth, Yoko made sure to pay close attention and respect Jenna as she tried to make heads or tails what it was.
"No, Madam, I'm not really sure what the thing your holding is." Biting her lip, Yoko could then detect some seriously nasty reitsu coming from it and decided to add on to her former sentence. "But I can sense some pretty negative sensations coming from it, what is it?" She then went on to listen to Jenna's explanation of it and nodded her head. "That's some pretty scary stuff if just by letting it touch our soil it can lay waste to our land if I understood it correctly, Captain Commander." Said Yoko to Jenna as she stared at the cloth very closely.
After she was finished explaining to both Yoko and Rihiku, she then went on to give a strange folder to Rihiku. Blinking a bit, Yoko wondered what was inside and if this meant she really did trust him. It looked like something top secret to her, but I guess she would find out soon as she could tell Jenna was gonna go on some more about whatever was inside of the folder. Next, Jenna would then brief them on the mission and Yoko believed she could handle this rather easy if all they had to do was find out rather or not this demon was alive, do some good along the way and report back alive.
So, with a smile on her face, Yoko replied with; "Yes m'am, I understand clearly. Me and Rihiku can easily take care of this task with his power and my will power." Walking over to Rihiku, Yoko then placed her head on his cold shoulder as she would await whatever else the Captain Commander had to say. If they could just get this damn mission out of the way, Yoko knew they would be in the clear. It was the best chance they had for a better future at this rate. Therefore, she would nudge Rihiku's shoulder before reciting her promise.
"I, Yoko Yuri Kuchiki Third Seat of Squad 6 and member of the Kuchiki Family, promise to fulfill this mission to the best of my ability and cause no harm during the duration of it." When finished, Yoko would look up at Rihiku in order for him to the say something similar as well as she still had that same smile across her face from earlier.
At last, it seemed like things were falling into place.

Byakuya Kuchiki
朽木 白哉
"Regardless of who or what they are, anyone who disturbs Soul Society will be cut down."
All was everything but quite around Seireitei, however, it still held a haunting silent treatment over the whole place. Maybe it was the fact everyone one so shocked at the previous events? He didn't know, but there was one thing he thought that one day would never happen... today is that day. Rihiku's trial. He had heard about the slaughter, the danger he had possessed to shinigami and hollow. However, despite the fact he held a good law and believed in everything to protect soul society, he was there to support Yoko and her decisions. In true fact, he barely knew the guy, he had only heard minimal information about him. To Byakuya, he was just another brat, but in this case he highly respected Yoko, she seemed different from all other in their clan. Byakuya was clearly in the midst of all this, his own noble family member was sticking up for Rihiku, hell, he didn't want to disrupt the place of it all... inside he felt rather guilty for sticking up for someone who disrupted the peace. It still seemed rather strange and pretty much a waste of time, if they truly wanted they could just have him executed. He found the trial a bit of a inconvenience.
Appearing ever so quickly in division one's captain commanders place, was Byakuya. His captains Haori blew in the breeze as he came to a sudden halt out of his shunpo. His eyes were near closed, he felt a slight sign of heightened emotions, the room was clearly tense... He didn't even hold any emotions on his face, this was just the way the 6th division captain was. Always was. He slowly opened his eyes so they were now fully wide open, scouting everyone in the room. Walking slowly, his steps echoed as he advanced towards Yoko. He stopped as soon as he was beside her, looking straight ahead, not turning his head to talk in the slightest. His mouth said clearly, but slurred out a bit hesitantly, "Yoko, I will support you." His cold voice spoke as he found a gap in all the talking in the room. Byakuya turned his head quickly towards Toushiro a slight frown shrouded over his eyes as the words slung from his mouth. "Every man deserves the right, respect and honour of having a fair trial in the case of crime, for we are merely the warriors that carry out the Central 48's wishes along with the captain commanders wishes. They would chuck him in a cell for years on end, for that is all the know how to do. He still held a concerned face, Yoko seemed more than extremely determined. His eyes glanced at the folder and listened closely in as the words came from Jenna's mouth. The 6th division captain was still having some trouble figuring out why Yoko was to help this man, he had committed countless crimes on soul society but a major one being treason. The details were extremely deep, this was clearly not something that was to be taken lightly.
Still holding and expressionless face he turned back to Yoko and spoke softly, while closing his eyes, "Go for it, kid."

Rihiku stood in the room with his arms folded while being told about everything that would be occurring in the future. To be strictly honest, he couldn't care less about the task involved because he knew he could accomplish it. This would just be an example of his stubborn nature that makes him such a powerful executer of missions. He would just get out there, clear his task with whatever tactic he needed to utilise and walk away leaving ruin in his wake. It's how he worked ever since he was driven out by the Gotei all those years ago. In his mind, they all deserved the damage he dealt to their forces and it just gave him a means to use someone as a punching bag.
Jenna began to talk to him and Yoko concerning the task they were to fulfil. Rihiku listened but only to the parts he needed to know. In short, he recorded the words 'Vohlis' and 'Demon' into his mind to recall later on. Mixing this around, he came to the conclusion of 'Kill the demons and locate Vohlis' Which he didn't figure as a hard task unless this guy was stupidly tough compared to him. He didn't believe that. Not many were as powerful as The Frozen betrayer so he chuckled at the thought. The folder he was given interested him little as he flicked through it. Words, words and more words that he didn't need to know. Yoko could deal with the technical stuff. He would be the one to crush the opposition for her. It felt like it was his job to do so even if he truly didn't understand what the hell he was doing. His attitude got in the way of that.
"So you want me to remove this Vohlis or bring him back? Either way, it is doable..." But as he said that, somebody decided to walk into the room. It was his brother Toshiro and this really brought a smile to the mans face. In fact, it almost made him burst into laughter. He didn't envision their meeting to be under these circumstances. "haha, greetings brother..." But then Rihiku was smothered in what he took in as insults. He looked shocked at first before returning to his smirk once more. He flicked his right arm towards the table where the captain commanders laptop was and spun the file through the air to land perfectly next to it. "Heh, I can understand why you do not trust me brother... However"
Rihiku turned to his brother just as Yoko finished her 'pledge to the mission'. This would probably shock her as he moved away from her and walked over to where hsi brother was, completely ignoring the fact Byakuya had also joined them. "I will confirm my role in this.... after Ive said this..." Rihiku stood right before his brother, but not with violent intent. He held out his hand but not to shake and make up, but as an offering. "You have all the reason of the Gotei to hate me, but if it makes you feel any better, cut off my arm!" He seemed serious about what he was saying. It made no sense as he wasn't this kind of self inflicting person to resolve issues. "Maybe then you'll feel some kind of retribution..."

Commanding Captain Jenna Jade Water
Jenna knew that Toshiro is a strict professional when it comes to being a captain. But for him to barged in to speak his mind, Jenna can understand why he is angry. Byakuya also arrived to speak in support of Yoko's intentions. Due to Jenna's connection to the Kuchiki Family, she trusts Yoko well enough to have some faith in Rihiku. Byakuya could remember Jenna as a regular visitor to his family's estate because of his grandfather who was her Sensei before she could become a lieutenant. Jenna also knows that she is going make a mistake if she is going to rely solely on the Kuchiki Family. She may have a grudge against the Central 46 for her past complications, but since she was appointed by the Central 46, she should be glad. She watched Rihiku act like a he-man to Toshiro. "Rihiku Hitsugaya. That will not be needed. Captain Hitsugaya, set aside your grudge until you are called to arms against him." Jenna raised her voice at Rihiku and Toshiro, demanding order within her office. She reached for the folder that lay on her desk, but she accidentally touched the overgrown seed.
Instantly, the seed warped itself like it tried to bite Jenna. Jenna retracted her hand quickly before looking at what it bit. Blood dripped from her index finger as Jenna could see that the whole surface has melted off. She quickly pulled out a small roll of narrow bandage from her apron and wrapped her wounded fingertip with it. "Ouch..." Jenna cussed to herself as she wrapped the seed with the Earth cloth. "Yoko. I request your audience for a private talk. Captain Kuchiki and Hitsugaya...watch over Rihiku and no rough housing. This room was recently cleaned after an accident during practice outside by two shinigami." Jenna spoke as she collected the folder and walked to the balcony that overlooks the Seireitei. While at the balcony, Jenna slumped slightly as her vision began to blur. Her legs are getting weak and her heart began racing. Must been the fainting spell that she has the medicine to delay it. She placed the folder on the fence and anchored it with her left forearm. With her right hand, she searched for her medicine in one of the apron's pockets. She pulled out a vial that contained a predetermined amount of black liquid that is used to reduce the poison's effects by building up resistance to the poison. Since a poison is an illness and her illness was classified as a poison, she has to take it whenever she feel like fainting. The feeling of fainting slowly deteriorated as she gathered her strength back. She turned to Yoko, awaiting for her to be ready for a special role.
