"There ya go again, usin' that word. 'Territories.' Earth's not yours to go dividin' up. You n' me don't have any authority to go makin' decisions like that, Byakuya. Even if I thought you were the coolest guy, and I trusted ya with my life, it wouldn't change that."

Murasaki's voice grew more firm, as she felt compelled to push back more appropriately on one thing that she considered significantly out of place. If that was how he was approaching this, then that told her a great deal.

"What's so new about a buncha shinigami funded by Central 46 segmentin' the Living World up the way they think works best and overseein' spiritual affairs, anyway? The fact that ya got 3 people in charge instead'a one? You're not sayin' anything new about it at all."

Standing up from the boxes she'd been sitting on, Murasaki picked them up in one arm, the other resting neatly on her hip in a girlish gesture.

"I'm not gonna waste my time tryin' to refine this system the nobles put together when the world's nothin' like what it was when it started. I'm gonna teach the people down there how to handle Hollows themselves. Don't really care if you guys think makin' substitutes is still illegal or not, I'm gonna do it anyway, 'cause people who actually live on Earth have a whole lot more reason to be doin' that than you guys. So, no. It's not worth considerin', unless ya have somethin' you've been keepin' way up your sleeve about why you're any different."
