Walking in the Wake [Santa, Leo]

It didn't take very long to make it to soul society. But well... Santa was hardly going to just dump them into the middle of soul society without warning. No, rather than that, she made sure that Leo kept close, and as they arrived, she didn't open up the garganta by tearing that barrier apart.

But rather she just... thinned it.
Instead of fully emerging in the soul society, the darkness around them simply became a bit more...translucent. And Soon enough Leo would find himself surrounded by the rukongai sky. And down below them, the vastness of the rukongai's 45th district. They were up in the sky above it, but not quite. They were just barely outside of the split between realms, and it would be as if he was seeing the place through a filter. This would allow them to explore the rukongai without necessarily walking out into it.

"Stay close to me. We'll find a quiet spot before we go in entirely." Santa explained, a very long lifetime of exploration informing her rather than any sort of actual plan. And she'd let Leo guide the way down. He was the one who wanted to see all of this. So she'd let him seer where she took the two of them as either way, she'd have them slowly descend upon the place, to find some out of the way spot to arrive at.
