Seigo is a classic street tough with a sharp tongue and a quicker fist. Known for his crude, blunt speech and often brash demeanor, he’s the type who would rather punch his way through a problem than talk it out. He’s quick-tempered, and it doesn’t take much to set him off—whether it’s a perceived insult, an outsider stepping into his turf, or just someone testing his patience. His responses are laced with profanity, and he’s not shy about putting people in their place, even if his “advice” is often given in the form of a backhanded insult or outright aggression.

He has little tolerance for weakness or indecisiveness, often pushing others around him to “toughen up” in his own harsh way. Many of his gang mates know him as the kind of guy who’ll bark orders or grumble if they hesitate or slip up, though they also know he’s just as hard on himself. Seigo doesn’t sugarcoat anything—if he thinks you’re messing up, he’ll let you know in no uncertain terms. To him, respect isn’t given; it’s earned, usually through actions that show loyalty, strength, or survival instinct.

While Seigo comes across as rude and unapproachable, there’s more to him than most people see. Beneath his rough exterior, Seigo has a heart of gold, even if he’d never admit it. His gang and the people in his district mean everything to him, and despite his rough ways, he’s incredibly loyal to those he cares about. He might sneer and act like he doesn’t care, but Seigo is often the first to show up when someone’s in trouble, and he’ll fight like a demon to protect his own.

Seigo has his own unspoken code of honor, and while he’s not one to follow the rules, he fiercely believes in protecting the people who’ve struggled like he has. This side of him often comes out in unexpected moments—a quiet gesture, a rare encouraging word, or even a gruff apology when he knows he’s crossed a line.

Life as a Plus:

Seigo grew up tough and alone in the 66th District of Rukongai, one of the most dangerous and poverty-ridden areas, where kids like him learned early that life was a fight for survival. His mother passed away when he was young, leaving him in the hands of a drunken, neglectful father who was more likely to throw a bottle than offer advice. With no real family to rely on, Seigo turned to the streets, falling in with other kids from broken homes and rough lives. Together, they formed small-time street gangs, pulling petty thefts and protecting one another in the chaotic world of Rukongai’s back alleys.

Seigo thrived in this rough-and-tumble life, quickly rising as a tough kid who wasn’t afraid to throw down to defend his turf or his friends. For years, he led his small gang with nothing more than street smarts, sheer grit, and a fierce sense of loyalty to the few who had his back.

One such venture looted him something extra special, a high quality blade nabbed off of a particularly unlucky Shinigami who happened to venture too far out of the Seireitei. What Seigo didn't know at the time was this asauchi would someday be the blade that would become his very own Zanpakuto, imprinted with his very own spirit over time and practice to become something more than a hunk of metal. Through years of bloodied brawls, he grew closer to his inner self and unlocked the name of his blade. Watashimori, the Ferrymen of the Underworld. A dark spirit that would simply accompany Seigo on whatever path he might take, up river or down, across the Styx. This new and impressive power would allow Seigo to truly reach a new level, dominating his surroundings and making a name for himself as a local menace, someone not to be messed with.

But everything changed when a local group emerged with a plan to unite the scattered gangs of the district into a single, organized yakuza-style syndicate. This organization aimed to bring a sense of order to the lawless district, creating a structured network of “protection” and control that could enforce rules, keep the peace among rival factions, and profit from the district’s chaos.

Joining up:

For Seigo, this was an opportunity to move up from small-time hustling to a position of power, stability, and respect. He embraced the role, becoming one of the organization’s most loyal members, known for his unrelenting ferocity and his ruthless commitment to their cause. He was proud to be part of something bigger—a force that could take on anyone who tried to disrupt the balance in the district.

Staring down Death:

But one night, that balance was violently threatened. A rival gang, emboldened by new allies, launched a surprise assault on Seigo’s group, sparking an all-out turf war in the narrow, dark alleys of the district. Outnumbered and pushed to his limits, Seigo fought fiercely to hold his ground, his strength and determination carrying him through wave after wave of brutal clashes. Despite his skill, the sheer numbers and relentless assault soon had him bleeding, bruised, and struggling to stay on his feet. He was on the brink of death, pinned down by multiple opponents, his vision blurring, and his body reaching its breaking point.

In that moment of desperation, something deep within him surged to life. A dark, monstrous force welled up, filling him with raw, untamed power. He felt a chilling presence rise from the depths of his soul as his inner Hollow manifested, and before he knew it, a Hollow mask had formed on his face. For the first time, Seigo became a Vizard, channeling a fierce, otherworldly energy that transformed him into an unstoppable force. With his Hollow mask amplifying his abilities, he tore through his enemies with a savage fury, his strikes carrying a power and precision he’d never known.

The rival gang scattered, overwhelmed by the terrifying force Seigo had become. When the fight was over, he removed the mask, breathing heavily as he came to terms with this new, frightening power. Though he was shaken, he realized that he had tapped into a strength even the Shinigami didn’t control—something he could wield on his own terms. From that day forward, Seigo became not only an enforcer but a legendary figure in the district, feared for his newfound Vizard abilities and revered for his loyalty to the gang and the people he swore to protect.

Current Day:

Today, Seigo is a seasoned enforcer and a pillar within current Shirazumi-Rengokai that rules the 66th District of Rukongai. He’s widely respected as a tough, no-nonsense figure who commands loyalty and fear in equal measure. Over the years, he’s become a protector of the district, keeping order on the streets and dealing with threats to their turf—whether rival gangs, wandering Hollows, or even the occasional Shinigami who ventures too far into their world.

On any given day, Seigo can be found patrolling the district, collecting dues, and resolving disputes, all while wielding his Zanpakuto and the fearsome power of his Hollow mask. Setting aside time once a week for steeling himself and embroiling his hollow mask abilities, he meditates and trains to tame his wild and fierce Inner Hollow, determined to wrestle him into submission, not stopping until he has him under his knee through force if necessary.

Beneath his gruff exterior, he still looks out for the struggling families and street kids he sees as his own, slipping them a few coins or a rough word of advice. As a Vizard who forged his own path without Soul Society, Seigo is both feared and admired in Rukongai—a rough-edged, loyal protector whose life is dedicated to his people and the gang that became his family.

» Zanpakutō Name: 渡し守 - Watashimori (The Ferryman)

» Zanpakutō Spirit: A spectral cloaked figure manning a ferry that travels the spectral river. He wields the same black censer that becomes Seigo's shikai upon release, as well as a long oar that he uses to guide his ship along the river wherever it may take them.

» Inner World: Seigo's Inner World is a haunting reflection of his turbulent soul, resembling the fabled River Styx or Sanzu River. A vast, dark cavern stretches infinitely around him, its walls formed of jagged, blackened brimstone, and sharp edges that seem to pulse with an eerie glow. The ground beneath his feet is cold and uneven, riddled with cracks that exhale ghostly vapors. Cutting through the cavern is a spectral river of thick, swirling ether—a murky, otherworldly flow that winds in both directions, stretching into the shadows without end. Its surface glimmers with the faint outlines of lost, ghostly faces, flickering in and out of sight like souls trapped beneath the current, whispering faintly in languages long forgotten. The air is heavy, thick with the scent of sulfur and a deep, oppressive silence broken only by the soft, foreboding rush of the spectral river.

» Sealed Zanpakutō Appearance: Watashimori is a sleek, straight blade with a striking cyan hue, extending just over three feet in length. It rests within a sturdy black metal sheath, lined with small studs along its length. The handle is wrapped tightly, ending in a distinctive ring pommel that adds balance and grip.

» Shikai Appearance: Upon release, Watashimori transforms into an ominous censer crafted from dark, volcanic stone, with slotted weep holes that pulse faintly with a cyan green glow. Suspended from a ring handle, a chain extends from inside of the censer itself, allowing it to swing with each movement, emitting a thick, spectral mist from small vents along its surface. This vapor is made of water drawn from the spectral river, drifting out in swirling tendrils that fill the air with an eerie, soul-chilling presence. The mist moves almost as if alive, clinging to those nearby, and carrying with it a heavy, oppressive aura. The censer’s chain extends from the top, allowing Seigo to swing or direct the fog as it seeps outward, surrounding the battlefield with its potent, spirit-draining effects all while hurling the censer around like a flail.

» Shikai Abilities:

Stygian Smog: The miasma that seeps out of this censer fills the area as Watashimori is swung around, creating a looming cloud of toxic vapors. These vapors slowly begin to poison foes that come in contact with it, initial exposure causes a dull ache of the lungs and skin, extended to tingling fatigue, dulling the reflexes and sapping energy with longer exposure.

The longer a foe remains within the fumes, the more pronounced the effects become. Over time, their spiritual energy begins to decay, limbs grow heavy, and focus blurs as the poison weaves itself into their reishi, causing a deep spiritual enfeeblement. Eventually, prolonged contact leads to a state of withering, where their movements slow to a crawl and their strength feels drained to the bone, as if their life force is steadily dissolving into the mist itself.

» Inner Hollow: Kazan-Doji is a hulking, red-skinned demon with a muscular frame and an aura of raw, volcanic power. Jagged black horns curve menacingly from his forehead, and his back is layered with craggy rock formations resembling miniature volcanoes, each one venting thin trails of smoke and glowing with molten magma. His eyes burn with an intense, smoldering heat, and his skin is marked with cracks through which fiery veins of magma pulse, giving him an ominous, lava-infused presence. Kazan-Doji embodies a primal, destructive force, like a living volcano poised to erupt.


» Inner Hollow Powers:

Demonic Beast: This demon wields the power of a natural disaster, titanic strength, and earthen hide that is more akin to armor than skin.

Volcanic Spawn: Kazan-Doji can manipulate hellflame, rather it be breathing fire, imbuing his weapon or fists with it, or even hurling motes of magma.

Demon Rage: While masked, Seigo channels the immense physical strength of his Inner Hollow, gaining an additional 100% Strength and Durability increase on top of Power Augmentation boosts.

Volcanic Fury: While masked, Seigo can temporarily imbue himself and his weapons with hellflame. This allows him to set his fists or weapons ablaze, or even fire off a volcanic variant of a Cero as a blazing torrent of energy.
