How to get wings? (Stella/Edelo)

Stella found herself in the training grounds for the quincy. She was trying to figure out how she could get that form that Ehefra had told her about. She knew that she needed to get better at using spells, so she did find herself casting those on a group of training dummies. Her physicality was definitely her most defining feature so she tried to use the smoke to her advantage as she went through each of the dummies. Slicing them hard enough to make a sound, but she didn't want to break them if that was even possible. So, she was pulling her punches just a bit as she moved through the smoke swiftly.

Sliding through the smoke with a small residual behind her as she panted. She had been at this for at least an hour already. She wanted to get there. Her mentality had gotten much better after being able to spend some time with her girlfriend and her roommates. She needed to find some time to go and see her mother, but she wasn't sure she could go back to Germany without relapsing currently. The last thing that she wanted to do was go back to having nightmares every night. She needed to find a way to get over this whole thing. Was she going to have to put an end to the green haired demon's reign?

It didn't take much for Edelo's attention to be snared by the training that was going on. The Vandenreich had been in a bit of a rut for it, and so everyone was working extra hard during the training drills. But it seemed that still others took this opportunity to push themselves even further. Seemed Stella was the kinda gal who was of the latter type.

He could see that she was practicing her spells. Something he frankly had come to be a bit versed in with how many quincy were in the vandenreich, so as he approached, he stopped a short distance away and watched as the woman fired off the spells at the targets. An appreciative nod given as he gave a soft clap of approval, drawing a bit of attention to himself before he offered a smile and spoke up. "Not bad. Still a bit shaky, but better than some others I've seen." He walked over to the woman and glanced over towards the dummies she'd been practicing on.

"Reminds me a bit of the training I went through when I was younger. Name's Edelo. Edelo Nakir. Hope you don't mind if I join you?" He asked as he pulled out his phone and brought up the App to the training area. A soft hum sounding as the area around them revved up a bit.

She looked over to the new person as she wondered who he was. She was taking a breath so that she could relax a bit. She was tensed up, but she was struggling to relax at all. It. Training was taking alot out of her and she had already been going for several attempts. Enough that the cuts into the dummies were obvious. They hadn't had the time to fix themselves yet as she gave the man a toothy smile.

"I have no problem with you joinin' "Mr. Edelo. My names stella Bauer!"

Her demeanor had changed slowly, but she was returning to the happy stella she had been. She wasn't the best still. Nor would she ever return to the most innocent she had been. She just wanted to get stronger. That was her main concern. She had accepted her teammates deaths. She couldn't just live without accepting them forever.

Edelo raised a brow slightly as he noticed the shift in demeanor from the young woman. The introduction was nice enough and he offered a gentle smile as she told him who she was. "Pleasure to meet you. It's been a while since I've had someone to train with." He chuckled. The investigation certainly had been taking up a lot of his time, but now that it had been shifted up to the responsibility of other teams, he had at least a bit more time now. "Say. Would you be interested in a little spar? No pressure if you'd rather not, but it has been a while. If you'd like I can even see about restoring your energy first." He offered with a smile.

Certainly he had been approached by a few officers from the Medical section of the Vandenreich. During most of his actual deployed operations, he usually made sure that any injured parties on his team were looked over and he'd give medical team a full assessment of their injuries, and thanks to his eyes, it usually qas a considerable help. As a result of this, he'd been asked to consider training to be a Field Medic. He wasn't actually sure about it, but he had accepted some of the basic lessons. Nothing actually extensive, but some basic first aide and some training in using his reiryoku to supplement first aid had been given. May as well put it to use right?

Stella shrugged as she guessed that she was probably going to get put on her ass. It was rather common for her to lose any spar that is offered. Well that was a good thing though. She still had a lot to learn so sparring with people better than her was always a benefit to her. She could always learn as long as she is willing to keep her eyes open. Taking a breath and resummoning her axe she spoke to him.

"I'm fine with a spar. Though, I'm not sure how much I'll actually be able to offer you in terms of a challenge."

She was taking a guess that he'd be ahead of her. If he wasn't outright more powerful then he was probably able to run circles around her, or he would just out skill her massively in the one vs one. She wanted to be on defense, so she activated her blut vene as the venes inside her began to glow blue as she waited for him to start.

Edelo blinked and looked over his shoulder as he stopped in his tracks. He then tapped a button on his phone and the whirring of the arena promptly died down as he made his way over to Stella, tilting his head a bit and then walking over to Stella before offering a light smile.

"Hey uh. You know, we don't have to spar if you don't want to. I suppose as a martial artist I'm... used to training with others a certain way." He noted softly, folding his arms for a moment. "You uh.. okay? I mean, not that it's any of my business. But people who usually uh... talk themselves down before a spar evens started usually aren't having a bad day." he noted with a chuckle and a sheepish smile.

Stella wondered why he thought that? She was just trying to give him a warning that he may not get much out of the spar. She was sure he could probably hold back and fight her, but what would there be to gain for him? She doubted she was more experienced and she probably wasn't stronger than him.

"I'm fine. I just wanted to give you a heads up that I don't think you'd get much from sparring with me. Nothing wrong with being honest right?"

She asked as she took her position once more. She wasn't sure if he'd still want to spar now that she had told him she's really not thst impressive. Or at the very least he may go into this with thst understanding. Stella just didn't want to be a let down.

Edelo furrowed his brows slightly at that. Did she even know how strong he was? The spirit energy he could feel from her wasn't anything to sneeze at, and with a slight gleam, he saw through her flesh and took note of the energy coursing through her body. She was strong, he could see the density of spirit energy in her muscles. He couldn't tell exactly how strong she was, but he could see that she was strong.

"If you don't mind me asking. Even if you didn't serve as a challenge. Sparring is about learning, if one person is stronger than the other, then the spar will simply be a means of the stronger person cultivating the weaker one. Just because he can't win, doesn't mean theres no reason for a teacher to test their student."' His voice was surpisingly firm, almost angry as he folded his arms, a stern expression forming.


"You want to learn don't you? Then you should HOPE that I'm stronger than you, so that you can learn. What's your name again? First and Last, as well as Rank." He asked firmly, folding his arms as he waited for her answer.

Stella listened to him as she nodded. She felt bad for even saying something like that. She had obviously upset the other quincy, but it is what it is. She didn't like to take the time of people above her as she just didn't see it as a good thing to take time away from more important matters. However, he had asked her for a name and rank so obviously he was above her in that way.

"Stella Bauer, personnel of the Spezialkräfte"

She spoke as she waited to listen to what he had to say. She stood up straight and waited to possibly be berated by the man. She guessed she had been pretty rude when she had told him about herself. She needed to get her shit together. Especially in this circumstance. She needs to take it easier on her self that way she can find uses to do.

The answer surprised Edelo. Special Strike Force? THIS was one of the Special Target Takedown operatives? Surely something was wrong, they were a team rather rigorously trained to handle special designated targets. However, a brief pause brought the situation to light. Operative Bauer. Right...

A slight tension in his shoulders as he remembered his investigation. The woman had endured a traumatic experience at the hands of a Shinigami. A shinigami that, based off physical descriptions given by Stella and the victim in The Italy Incident, seemed to be the same woman. That explained this dismal self confidence. However, this was a problem, if she was walking around like this, she was going to tank Morale. It had certainly stopped him in his own tracks. However, he hesitated as he stood before her.

"Miss Bauer. Have you... reached out to the Vandenreich's Mental Health Services?" He asked softly, his tone having shifted as he realized he was dealing with a victim. It hadn't even really been that long since the incident. So he was much more careful now.
