Thou Art Blessed [Reida, Safira]

Ah, ah. The tension against her head left her feeling a little uncomfortable and the proximity made the other woman the only thing in view. Every breath through her mouth was tasting the irate fullbringer's reiatsu and she took a moment to adjust to the new position. This was the kind of action that could earn a lot of reprisal, if it came from anyone except her. They both had leverage though - even in her current state. Sumana wouldn't, couldn't, give up the soul she spoke of earlier.

"My mark allows me to manifest my powers through you, in all my forms. Not only will I be able to give you aid in times of distress. As for what I plan to do for you..."

She shifted against the hold but couldn't be too upset if she wasn't getting out of it in her current state. Better to focus on using her words and retaining what relationship she had cultivated so far.

"You now understand the emptiness of the hollows, it provides the foundation for your hollow factor to grow beyond others. Next, I would like you to give up your fullbring and focus entirely on the hollow element of your powers. My mark will help by providing you more hollow powers to utilise and keep your hollow side growing. As you understand the emptiness and use hollow powers, I hope you'll develop a second affinity and through that we can understand one another better."

"Well ain't you just a magnanimous lil' angel."

Releasing the hollow from her grasp, Reida nevertheless maintained her gaze, even as she began once again to strip down, before settling in the water as if it were a simple swim. It didn't matter what this arrancar saw or didn't see, and it certainly didn't matter to Reida if she was wearing much of anything when it came to a fight. She didn't need it.

"Got a whole lot of requests when ya ain't even made any guarantees on that one thing I asked of ya. I expect that soul back, girl, or I'll blow your head right off. I think that's mighty fair, don't you?"

The water was, indeed, pleasant enough. It cooled her in a way she probably needed, even if the location itself was far from ideal.

"I'd rather not give up my fullbring. Don't know if ya know this, but they're a little important to a fullbringer. That gun's the only thing's always been there for me."

"I did promise you, and I gave you my assurance I can bring her back. I can't exactly do that while we are here. It's not like you blowing my head off would accomplish much anyway. I returned after battle with the shinigami."

She explained and sighed with relief at having her hair free. There was the matter of the fullbring and it was natural for the reluctance to be there. It wouldn't manifest in something important if that was not the case, would it? Safira shifted to the edge of the pool and gave it a brief thought.

"I'm not asking you to give it up, at least not in the long-term but it is a crutch that will hold you back on this path. You're not going to evolve without the struggle that comes with it."

"Whatever."

There wasn't any point in arguing all this. They could go back and forth for plenty long, but it was all worthless really. She was here now. Reida had to make do with it, she already knew that. She simply stared upward, her single eye closing as she allowed the water to try and calm her down.

"I'll work on it, then. When I'm back in workin' shape."

"Splendid, please stay as long as you'd like to recover here. I look forward to seeing you again soon."

She was indeed quite delighted by this whole development but Safira felt she had enjoyed the reprieve from her generous host long enough. Kizuna had her own things that she'd be assigned, Safira did not want to inhibit her own plans by being tardy. It did occur to her that she might still need to polish this relationship a bit more, she'd raise the priority on getting what she had promised to her sapling - hopefully it would reinforce the correct path she was on.

"If you need me just turn yourself inwards and seek me out. I hope you might have as much faith in me as I do in you."

Safira left her with that, the dimly lit room and its emptiness making for a space that was removed from everything else. The perfect place to remove stimulations and be with one's thoughts. While her sapling could soak, she was off to return back to assimilate with the rest of herself inside of Kizuna.
