Gym buddies (Stella/Aiko)

Stella found herself in the gym working out. It had been awhile since she had actually been in one, but it felt good. She was wearing a tank top with some leggings and a blue wrist band with a weird symbol on it. She found herself walking in, and taking her place on a tread mill. She sat her water bottle on the treadmill as she began to run. Upping the speed to keep the warm up.going as she looked around to see if there was anyone fun.

Aiko's mind buzzed with a storm of anger, frustration, and uncertainty about her future. Fresh out of the shower, wearing nothing but a hoodie, shirt, and sweatpants, her scowl made it clear she was on edge, looking as though she was ready to punch someone in the face. Unfortunately for the man sneaking up on Stella, that turned out to be the case.

Her blood gaze turned to see a man coming up behind Stella; a knife hanging in his palm discretely hidden. Not sure of his intentions, and having flashbacks to her own experience with men that wanted nothing more than to harm her, she snarled into action and promptly used her speed to grab his head with her palm and slam him into the wall next to Stella as the knife dropped out of his hand before he could do whatever it was he intended to do with her.

Pinning his arms behind his back, Aiko hollered, her voice cutting through the gym:

"THIS MAN HAD A KNIFE!"

As onlookers quickly rushed to the scene, the man started yelling in protest, but Aiko was already wrapping him up with her blood powers, ensuring he couldn’t escape.

Turning to Stella, Aiko's gaze softened just slightly, and she nodded, her voice calmer but still tense.

"You alright?"

Stella oblivious to her surroundings as she didn't expect to be attacked. She wasn't wearing anything revealing so she just expected to be able to make it through her workout with no incident. However, that would of course go against everything Stella's life has been for awhile now. Hearing the commotion, she stopped as she turned to look at the woman as she tilted her head curiously.

"Uh, what happened?"

She spoke to the woman as she looked down to the man that was being held by the blood powers as she watched. Not sure what else she could do, she just looked to see if he was in fact carrying a knife.

"That guy was trying to rob you."

Blunt and to the point, Aiko kept her eyes on the crook as she restrained him until more security guards and police started rushing over. Most of the management of the place already had footage of the incident and were looking to put him away. The amount of muggings, thefts and general violence was increasing in the area; something which Aiko had more than enough experience with as her face turned into a scowl.

Tightening her fist, she wanted to beat the guy within an inch of his life, but she already had enough issues of her own. So, her eyes darted over to Stella; staring for a moment as they turned from contempt to intrigue. It was as if she had seen Stella's face before but was uncertain where. Fueled by her curiosity, she then tapped the woman's shoulder.

"Not sure where I've seen you, but have you been on any streams or something? You look familiar."

She wondered about that though. Was he really going to try to rob her? In broad daylight around people? Also most importantly not knowing if the woman was able to defend herself or not? Unless that man was spiritually powered there was virtually no way he was going to get through her blut if he was going to try to rob her at knife point. Either way though she was appreciative of the woman for helping her out.

"Thank you for keeping an eye out for stuff like that. I was oblivious he even had a weapon out."

The well built red head said as she rubbed the back of her head. She was actually clueless when she was focused on doing something. She had blacked out everything that wasn't just her work out, and the music she was listening to. Though she didn't want to take too much of the woman's time, so after she thanked her she went to get back to her workout.

Stella didn't think she was, but the whole conversation with Leo came back to her. That guy may have taken a few pictures of her or something. However, her clothing choice at the gym was significantly different than what she was wearing during that interview. She sighed as she had stopped what she was doing for a moment. She didn't mind trying to make new friends, but she was hoping that interview wasn't going to cause her to get more in the spot light. Seems she may have been incorrect.

"Well, I had an interview with a guy named Leo. I can't fully remember what his show was called though."

"Yeah, your voice sounded familiar. I think I came across some guy with that name where you were being interviewed."

Nodding along with a smile, Aiko knew her memory wasn't that bad and was happy she wasn't losing her grip despite the miserable set of circumstances she was in.

With her eyes lingering on Stella, she would pat her shoulder and chuckle softly despite her exhausted eyes.

"I'm sorry if it's a bit weird to ask that, but I've had a bunch of weirdos and creeps kind of bothering me as well."

As she glanced around, noticing the scene was finally being cleaned up, Aiko nodded toward a shop just outside the gym doors.

"Want to grab something to eat? There's a spot nearby with high-protein options—IT'S good for building muscle."

Her suggestion came with a friendly smile, a subtle attempt to lift the mood despite the exhaustion lurking beneath the surface.

Stella shrugged as she was glad that the woman seemed friendly. Stella never had the opportunity to go through an alternative stage in her life, but it was something that could be cool to re visit one day right? She wasn't entirely sure if that was true. Maybe Veralia or Natahsa would find it funny if she did it. Who knows what the future held. She spoke to the woman with a smile.

"Of course. I'd love to grab some food with ya."
