» Personality: On the surface, Suigan is a calm and well-mannered individual, talking to everyone with at least some level of respect. This demeanor serves him well in earning the trust and loyalty of others, though in spite of his calm demeanor like an ocean’s current he is quick to anger. He carries himself humbly and rarely actively boasts or brags about anything he is currently doing or has already done.

This facade, however, vanishes rapidly when face-to-face with anyone who he views as having crossed or angered him, and his calm, well-mannered demeanor boils away into a raging storm without end. When the facade has faded, there is little that can be done to quell the storm that follows, often leading to explosively violent outbursts that have a tendency to cause at least a small amount of destruction, and sometimes much larger depending on the infraction.

None of this, however, applies to anyone who is not within his circle. To those outside of his circle, he is as a raging storm atop the ocean. While those within his circle usually take more than simple missteps to anger him, those outside find themselves staring down the eyes of a monster at even the slightest hint of hostility. To these individuals, he shows absolutely no mercy and often ends with the brutal execution of such an individual.

As a result, most around him do their utmost to avoid angering the sleeping beast within, for fear of retaliation that could cost them their very life.

» History: The story of Suigan Sato begins in the east within the Ryūgon district, where everyone did what they could to survive no matter the cost. Much like any other district during his time, crime was rife everywhere and murder was an expectation of life. From a young age however, Suigan showed remarkable strength that outmatched even some of the strongest adults, this dominance allowed Suigan’s formative years to be ‘relatively’ peaceful… at least in context.

Suigan’s parents were hardly the kindest or most loving of people, having ruled over a small portion of the Ryūgon district themselves though even their band of criminals were amongst the lowest of the lows and they still answered to far more powerful gangs. Before the age of ten, Suigan’s life was filled with almost constant abuse from both family and others around them. This abuse led Suigan to have an almost expressionless demeanor, as any sign of weakness only lead to further beatings and abuse.

By the age of ten however, Suigan had begun to grow angry and tired of the abuse. When one day his Father decided to raise his hand towards Suigan, instead of allowing himself to be struck he grabbed his Father’s arm and tore it off, before beating him to death with his own arm. The sudden aggression shocked everyone that was present, as the often expressionless and ‘submissive’ child seemed to fly into an unstoppable rage. That day it wasn’t just his Father that lost their life, several of the other members of their gang found themselves either with fist-sized holes in their chest, or several limbs removed and used to bludgeon them to death.

Of his entire family present that day, only his Mother lived and only because she was the first to run and hide. When at last Suigan’s rage had subsided, the room was stained blood red and Suigan was covered head to toe with dripping blood. When his Mother revealed herself, Suigan’s rage resurfaced… This time however it didn’t last for long, lasting only long enough to pummel her within an inch of her life. It was at this point Suigan gave her a warning, that if she ever dared raise a hand to him again… He’d do to her what he did to his Father.

It was then and there that his reign had begun, the few surviving members of the gang swore utter obedience to him, on pain of death and the would-be gangs that sought to make an example out of him began to surface. Truthfully this was surprising to him, he expected to have others attempt to subjugate him as his Family once had… And he wasn’t going to tolerate it.

The next five years were spent on a warpath by Suigan, killing, slaughtering, and sending the heads of any who dared challenge him back to their respective gang leaders. By the time he was Sixteen, nearly a quarter of the district had attempted and failed to make a mark on him, and most of those had gone on to submit to Suigan instead.

As Suigan rose in both rank and power it became increasingly more clear that his violent demeanor wasn’t simply outbursts from him, but rather his true self. It wasn’t uncommon that he’d have blood on his hands daily from those that angered him, though as he grew older his anger didn’t lessen but it became more refined and restrained. Rather than snapping at every infraction no matter how small, he began to spare those closest to him while ruling with an iron fist.

By the time Suigan was thirty, he reigned over half of the Ryūgon district and had the tattoo of a dragon placed upon his back. This combined with his unwavering command over the district, he became known as ‘The Iron Dragon’, feared across the district by any who didn’t swear loyalty to him. His personal circle was kept small in spite of this size however, having naught more than three trusted advisors, Reiko Arakawa, Takeshi Moriyama, and Hiroshi Tanaka. Each had their own specialized roles within his circle, and those within and without knew better than to question their authority.

Reiko was known to be Suigan’s strategist when it came to warfare and domination over the Ryūgon district, and much of his success in capturing it was credited, by Suigan, to Reiko. She was one of the original members of his Father’s gang, and the first one to swear fealty to him even before he demanded it, and was known to be his fiercest and most loyal companion. Takeshi, in stark contrast, was a part of a rival gang at first, while their gang wasn’t a part of the initial takeover, Takeshi and his gang were brought to heel by Suigan when he was around twenty-five in a decisive defeat. Takeshi, however, impressed Suigan with not only his strength but fierce determination and refusal to give up.

As a result, Suigan offered Takeshi a place as his enforcer, so long as he and his gang swore utter fealty to him. Hiroshi was much like Reiko, a part of Suigan’s life since he was a child. However both Hiroshi and Reiko never laid hands on him even once, and in fact Hiroshi was one of the few who attempted to help Suigan whenever he could. As a result when the takeover happened, he too was one of the first to swear fealty. Known as his Confidant, Hiroshi is the only one who was known to be able to quell his rage and often takes on the role of ensuring loyalty within the gangs. Having been with Suigan since his early days, Hiroshi understands the complexities of his personality and serves as a sounding board for his ideas and frustrations, providing emotional support and insight.

For the most part, Suigan’s mother remained in the background, fearful of her Son losing it and killing her. She spent most days in silence though no more than ten feet from Suigan at all times. As time went on, his demeanor towards her softened enough that she began to feel somewhat comfortable speaking in his presence, though never much and never about anything that might provoke him.

In truth it was around this time that Suigan began to stop caring about the exact amount of gangs or parts of the district he controlled, leaving it to others to manage those state of affairs. By age sixty, Suigan was spending most of his days wandering the district, ensuring his peace was being enacted. This wasn’t to say there was no more violence taking place, but rather it was being done in a more controlled manner. Those under his influence found themselves living more than just a meager life, often finding their living standards improved if only by a little.

In place of currency for trade was work, nobody got anything unless they worked for it under his rule. All were put to work, from the adults to even the children. If one refused to work, Suigan wasn’t pressed about it, he simply ensured that person got nothing even from family or friends. This didn’t always work of course, there were those who sought to undermine his rule and share things that weren’t earned. This, however, was always met with the same reaction from Suigan, a violent outburst that left all parties brutally maimed or dead. Suigan was a tyrant to be sure, yet for those who were truly loyal he seemed like a gracious tyrant… if such a thing could even exist.

Over the next forty to fifty years much remained the same within the Ryūgon District, executions were plentiful and loyalty even moreso. Few questioned his reign within the district, and it was only outsiders that threatened his established peace and order. However it wasn’t until one of the more brave, or perhaps foolish, individuals decided to try and take his title for their own. For those of that district, this man apparently had some renown and had made a name for himself.

To Suigan, however, it was a man of ‘Who Cares’ renown with a ‘It doesn’t matter’ name, for he was just like the rest of the insignificant trash that challenged him before… Or at least that’s who he had started as. For a while Suigan was out walking, he was informed of some wanton murder happening by this individual and their gang, when he finally arrived to witness what had unfolded, he saw a mountain of corpses piled high before him. This however wasn’t surprising, nor did it stir Suigan at all. Even as the would-be conqueror boasted and taunted Suigan, he remained completely unphased by the man's words. It wasn’t until he saw a particular body, the body of his lifelong companion Hiroshi amongst the corpses. His body brutalized and maimed almost beyond recognition for anyone else.

For Suigan however it was unmistakable, and the rage that boiled over from within was equal only to the most vicious storms of the sea. It was silent at first, his eyes widening slowly with realization as the man continued to boast and brag, waving his blade about as if he was somehow better because of it. “Hiroshi?” Were the only words that left his lips that day. There were no tears however, no sadness in his face… Only unbridled rage at what this man had done.

Suigan finally snapped, an enormous pressure erupted over the area spanning miles upon miles, causing all in attendance to fall to their knees including the would-be conqueror. Suigan spent the next several hours slowly and brutally carving up each and every rival gang member with their leader's own blade, saving the leader for last. By the time he was finished with them, it sent a clear message to all… Suigan was to be left alone at all costs. He stuck each of their heads on pikes, littered around the district, and the former leader's head was placed just outside of his home as a clear warning to all who remained. Suigan kept the sword he’d taken as a trophy, though he did not know its true identity as an Asauchi.

He would not realize what it was until he was almost One-Hundred and Twenty-Six (126) years old, when he began to hear a voice calling out to him. At first he thought he was going crazy, perhaps the voice of one of those he’d slaughtered on his rise to power. He tried to ignore it at first, doing everything he could to not scream out for it to shut up, not wanting to seem like he was going crazy even if he felt like he was.

It took another two years before the breakthrough connection was made, and Suigan realized what he had attained all those years ago. It was then that his true reign of terror and authority began, no longer did he simply use his hands for executions or setting examples. No now he began to almost exclusively rely on his newfound blade, a blade that called itself Kōkai Ryūō. It was a fitting name given what he was called, and the longer he spent with it the closer they became, until Suigan found himself relying more on the advice of his Zanpakuto than those around him.

That isn’t to say, however, that he didn’t also still listen to them, but now treated Kōkai Ryūō as if it was Hiroshi, his now long lost friend. However his newfound power and peace would not last long, for less than 70 years later another challenger approached, accompanied by several individuals, all of whom he could tell by a mere glance… They were powerful. Most of them too had swords on their hips, Zanpakuto’s from what he surmised.

The man had an offer, join him and his new organization, the Gotei 13, to bring order to this unruly and chaotic wasteland. An offer that, at first, went against the very thing Suigan had killed and butchered to maintain; true freedom. However at this point, Suigan had grown to become calculating. No longer did he simply slaughter every would-be challenger.

Of course this man's terms were ‘join or death’, but he didn’t need much more convincing to know what the best choice here was. Those that were loyal to him sought him for protection, they looked up to him as the ultimate ruler of this district. To Suigan, joining this Gotei 13 was the single best way to provide the peace he strived to enforce here. So Suigan accepted the offer to join, for within this organization he could enforce his law across the whole of the district and not just part of it. With ever more powerful allies at his side, his rule over the Ryūgon District became absolute and all within either bowed to him or were slaughtered.

With this peace enforced across not just his district, but the entire Rukongai, there were few who could challenge or dared to challenge any of them. So he turned his attention to his Zanpakuto, and through this learned more of the Zanpakuto and its reason for existing, that it was just as much a part of him now as his arm was. Through this learning, he discovered and unlocked the first stage of his Zanpakuto, known then as simply an ‘Evolved Form’.

This came only a year before the Quincy’s sought to destroy their order they’d created, and it was then that Suigan’s eternal hatred for Quincy’s was born. Just as before, so it was now that he showed no mercy to the Quincy’s. Everyone he came across he slaughtered like an animal, and only once the last Quincy was gone from Soul Society did his blade find its sheath again… Though not for long, for shortly thereafter they would go on to ensure the Quincy would never attempt this again by exterminating them entirely.

With the Quincy threat eliminated, Suigan once more turned his attention back to his Zanpakuto, using it to slaughter a countless number of Hollows during his time within the Gotei 13 and with it only increasing his bond with his Zanpakuto. Around Two-Hundred (200) years later was when he discovered something new about it, that its Evolved Form was still not its true power. He’d noted how distant the voice felt, even within his own Inner World, distant and muffled as if locked away deep beneath the ocean.

However it wouldn’t be for another twenty years before he unlocked that fateful release, Bankai. His bond with Kōkai Ryūō had grown such that he could release it without even speaking, and with this newfound power he found hollows which were once a menace and difficulties to fight against were washed away with complete ease. Suigan had begun to refer to his Zanpakuto not as Kōkai Ryūō, but as its true name, Kōkai Ryūō Sōkaishin.

However as time passed on, Suigan’s interest in this alliance waned and faded. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, a man seen with no equal who brought order to this chaotic land through strength… was tiring. He was growing old and fickle, and for Suigan the aid that once seemed so tempting vanished. However, Suigan had never backed down on his word and he’d promised to be a part of his Gotei 13. However, after Yamamoto was killed, Suigan seemed to vanish completely without a trace. He told nobody of where he was going, nor did he make any attempt to leave a trail.

Suigan remained in hiding for a long time, his Zanpakuto safely stored and his Reiatsu completely suppressed to ensure no one would find or recognize him. That is… Until the catastrophe in Africa, he’d heard of what had happened… heard of the struggle this new ‘Gotei United’ had gone through to repel it… And in truth it sickened him. The Gotei he had once been apart of would’ve crushed this opposition within an instant just like they had the Quincy threat before, yet the reports he got were filled with… hesitation, inaction, and indecisiveness.

Immense Strength - Centuries upon Centuries of fighting has given Suigan an enormous amount of strength, capable of toppling even some of the sturdiest of foes and cracking even the hardest of armor.

Master Swordsman - Whilst Suigan has no qualms with getting his hands dirty, since obtaining his Zanpakuto he has often relied on it for combat and executions more than his hands, leading to a calculated but aggressive fighting style he has come to call “Arashi Ha” or “Tempest Blade”, it is a fighting style that combines fluid precise motions with neigh-unpredictable movements.

Unyielding Willpower - Suigan possesses an exceptionally strong willpower that enables him to resist mental and emotional manipulation. This ability also helps him stay focused and unshaken in the face of extreme adversity or pain, reflecting his tenacity and inner strength.

Enhanced Endurance - Suigan has a high level of stamina and endurance, allowing him to continue fighting at peak performance for extended periods without tiring. This endurance is not just physical but also mental, enabling him to withstand prolonged stress and strain.

Intuitive Strategist - Suigan has an instinctive understanding of combat situations, allowing him to anticipate opponents' moves and react with exceptional speed and accuracy. This natural combat sense makes him a formidable strategist in battle, even without formal training in tactics.

Arashi Ha (Tempest Blade): Is a fighting style developed by Suigan to better fend off and slaughter his prey, created within the bowels of the Ryugon District, Honed in battles against Hollows, and Mastered in the Genocide of the Quincy, it is a fighting style that he has come to rely on to extraordinary effect.

• Arashi Ha: Raimei Kaze (Tempest Blade: Thunderous Gale) - Suigan swings his blade with such force that it generates a powerful gust of wind, accompanied by a thunderous clap. The wind blast can knock back opponents, and the sound can disorient them. In its strongest form, the technique can even create shockwaves that slice through the air and cut down lesser foes from a distance.
  
• Arashi Ha: Kaijin no Ikari (Tempest Blade: Ocean’s Wrath) - In a state of extreme rage, Suigan unleashes a devastating barrage of slashes that emulate the uncontrollable fury of a stormy ocean. Each strike is infused with his anger, resulting in an onslaught that leaves little room for defense. The final slash releases a massive wave of energy that crashes down upon the enemy like a tidal wave, symbolizing the wrath of the ocean god.
  
• Arashi Ha: Seicho (Tempest Blade: Serene Tide) - A technique that reflects Suigan’s calm side, Serene Tide involves a series of smooth, flowing movements that seem almost effortless. Each strike is precise and deliberate, often involving a quick strike before an even quicker retreat, like the gentle ebb and flow of the tide. This technique is used to conserve energy while wearing down an opponent with a series of subtle yet effective cuts.
  
• Arashi Ha: Dotō no Zangeki (Tempest Blade: Raging Wave Cutter) - A powerful, sweeping slash that carries the force of a crashing wave. This technique harnesses Suigan's rage and Reiryoku, releasing a crescent-shaped surge of energy that can cleave through obstacles or overwhelm defenses. The attack has a wide arc, making it effective against both single and multiple targets.
  
• Arashi Ha: Raimei Sen (Tempest Blade: Thunderclap Slash) - Suigan channels his anger and Reiryoku into a rapid, electrifying thrust, resembling a lightning strike. The thrust is incredibly fast and precise, aimed at critical points on the opponent's body. Upon impact, the force of the attack sends a shockwave through the target, potentially paralyzing them or shattering their defenses.

The impact creates a shockwave that can knock back or incapacitate opponents, especially those directly beneath him. The move is best used as a finishing blow or to break through heavy defenses.
  
• Arashi Ha: Arashi no Me (Tempest Blade: Eye of the Storm) Considered the most dangerous of the Arashi Ha techniques, Arashi no Me is a defensive technique where Suigan maintains a calm center amidst chaos, using his sword to parry and deflect incoming attacks with minimal movement. While in this state, he waits for the perfect opportunity to counterattack with a single, decisive blow. The technique embodies his calm-before-the-storm persona.

» Zanpakutō Name: Ancient Ocean Dragon King (Kōkai Ryūō)

» Zanpakutō Spirit: While sealed, The Spirit has no physical form that can be seen as it is locked beneath the endless oceanic abyss within his Inner World. If visited while his Bankai is released, its form looks like a colossal form of the Ocean Dragon King, a serpentine dragon with scales that shimmer like the deepest parts of the ocean, ranging in hues from dark blue to iridescent green. Its eyes glow with an ancient, otherworldly intelligence, and its presence exudes both awe and terror. The dragon's body is adorned with ancient, rune-like markings that pulsate with energy, indicating how much power the Dragon has left before it must slumber again.

» Inner World: Suigan’s Inner World is that of an endless ocean, stretching too and from all horizons at once with a sun that never moves high in the sky. The water can be walked upon or swam in.

» Shikai Release Phrase: Ascend from the depths and drown the world (Shin'en kara Nobori, Sekai o Obore Sase yo)

» Shikai Release Action: Suigan raises his Zanpakuto skywards before speaking its Release Phrase.

» Shikai Appearance: Suigan’s Zanpakuto transforms into a five-pronged trident, the center prong being the longest, the two next to it being the second longest, and the final two next to that being the shortest.

» Shikai Abilities:

Awakening (Mezame 目覚め) - In order for Suigan to utilize the abilities of his Shikai, he must first use the ability “Mezame” to begin stirring his Zanpakuto from its slumber. Each use of it awakens his Zanpakuto more, with his Bankai requiring Mezame to be utilized five separate times for it to fully awaken. Mezame can only be used once per post and Suigan cannot use this technique if another Shikai technique is used in the same post nor can Suigan use another Shikai technique if Mezame is used in the same post.

When utilized, Suigan extends the Zanpakuto in front of him and pointed downwards at a 45 degree angle before speaking the name out.

Upon its first use, his Zanpakuto pulses and a soft rumbling emits from it briefly, additionally Raging Whirlpool is unlocked and may be used.

Upon its second use, his Zanpakuto pulses and two red draconic eyes briefly appear to either side of Suigan combined with a louder rumbling. Additionally, Embrace of the Deep Sea is unlocked.

Upon its third use, his Zanpakuto pulses and a loud roar emits from his Zanpakuto, knocking back and down unsuspecting foes. Additionally, Drag to the Water’s Depths is unlocked.

Upon its fourth use, his Zanpakuto pulses, and once more the two draconic eyes and loud roar is emitted from around him and his Zanpakuto, and the air and ground within 30 feet of him begins to tremble passively. Additionally, Tidal Surge is unlocked.

Upon its Fifth use, a third and final enormously loud roar emits from his Zanpakuto, The two Draconic eyes reappear and remain until his Bankai is unleashed. Suigan can finally activate his Bankai and unleash the sleeping Zanpakuto.


Raging Whirlpool (Uzushio no Gekiryū 渦巻の激流) - Suigan swipes his trident in a horizontal motion, unleashing a circular, spinning wave of water aiming to trap his foe and spin them rapidly to disorient them and prevent them from being able to properly move or defend themselves. This whirlpool is 5 meters wide from one end to the other, maybe only be fired once per post and lasts until for 2 posts and cannot be used for 2 posts.

Embrace of the Deep Sea (Shinkai no Hōyō 深海の抱擁) - Suigan spins his trident in front of him, and similar to the Kido spell Tenran fires out a spinning ‘tornado’ of water towards his enemies. This move is less about dealing damage to his opponents, and more about soaking them with the water of his Zanpakuto. Whilst it can deal a moderate amount of damage, such things are usually negligible afterwards.

Drag to the Water's Depths (Suitei ni Hikikomu 水底に引き込む) - Suigan attempts to bring those who’re drenched in his Zanpakuto’s water to the ground, inhibiting movement from the weight of the water. Such an effect can be avoided by somehow drying themselves off, This can either be by changing clothes or heating them up to dry them off or after 2 posts. This can only be used once every 4 posts.

Tidal Surge (Ushio no Honryū 潮の奔流) - The fourth and final Shikai ability of Suigan’s, this collects all of the water dispersed by his Shikai previously and pools it around his trident, this increases the striking power of his Zanpakuto for each ability he has used since its release. The duration of this ability is altered based off when he uses this, with a base duration of 6 posts, with it losing 1 post for every 50% increase beyond the first. This means it can grant a maximum of a 300% boost but the duration would only be for one post. This bonus is reset after its use and he cannot increase the bonus or begin stacking this bonus again until the current duration has run its course, additionally this has the added effect of removing any water created by his Zanpakuto still remaining on anyone or anything.


» Bankai Name: Shin'en kara Nobori, Sekai o Obore Sase yo, Kōkai Ryūō Sōkaishin! 深淵から昇り、世界を溺れさせよ, 古海竜王 滄海神! (Ascend from the depths and drown the world, Ancient Ocean Dragon King, God of the Vast Sea)

» Bankai Release Action: Suigan spins his trident to face downwards before thrusting it into the ground. The sky darkens, storm clouds form above in a 100-meter radius, and the ground trembles. A massive surge of ocean water erupts, swallowing the trident into its depths.

Emerging from the oceanic surge is the colossal form of the Ocean Dragon King, a 30-meter-tall, serpentine entity. Its scales shimmer like the deep sea, and its eyes radiate an ancient, intelligent glow. Despite its imposing appearance, the dragon does not engage in physical combat. Instead, it exists as the embodiment of Suigan’s control over the oceans, with its immense presence serving as a manifestation of his power.

The battlefield within the 100-meter radius is transformed into a domain of water and storm, with constant heavy rain and flooding up to 30 feet. This domain is stationary, centered on where the Bankai was released. Suigan stands atop the Ocean Dragon King’s head, commanding its latent powers rather than relying on the dragon to fight on its own. The dragon acts as a medium for Suigan’s techniques, and its rune-like markings glow in response to the energy expended.

» Bankai Abilities:
Tidal Limitation (Shiodoki no Seiyaku 潮時の制約) - The immense power of the Ocean Dragon King is bound by the ocean’s capricious nature. Suigan's Shikai abilities remain inaccessible during Bankai, and the Ocean Dragon King's energy is finite, as reflected by its rune markings. The Bankai has a natural duration of 20 turns, with each ability reducing the remaining duration.

Abyssal Trident Creation (Shin'en no Sansō 溺深の三叉槍)
Suigan can manipulate the vast oceanic waters summoned by his Bankai to forge a trident identical in appearance to his Shikai. This water-formed trident is visually identical it also carries the destructive force of the ocean, capable of piercing enemies with concentrated, high-pressure streams of water upon impact. This Trident does not allow Suigan to utilize his Shikai abilities.

Once thrown, the water trident explodes into a torrent of high-pressure water upon impact, dealing both piercing and crushing damage. Suigan can summon and reshape the trident from the ocean waters as long as his Bankai is active.

Oceanic Sanctuary (Kaiyō no Seiiki 海洋の聖域) - Suigan calls upon the ocean's waters through the Ocean Dragon King to form a defensive barrier around them in the form of a vast, dome-shaped surge of water. This barrier, large enough to encase both Suigan and the Ocean Dragon King, acts as a protective shield. This ability is purely defensive, requiring 1 turn from the Bankai’s duration.

Torrential Geyser Surge (Gōsui no Funryū 轟水の噴流) - Through Suigan’s command, the Ocean Dragon King causes 10 by 10-foot areas to erupt into powerful geysers. This offensive technique calls upon the water beneath the battlefield, but is directed by Suigan, not the dragon itself. Using this reduces the Bankai's duration by 2 turns.

Oceanic Tribute (Kaiyō no Mitsugimono 海洋の貢ぎ物) - Suigan marks a target for the Ocean Dragon King, offering them as a symbolic tribute to the sea. The Ocean Dragon King channels its energy to unleash a 30 by 30-foot torrent of water, directed at the marked target. This technique is controlled entirely by Suigan’s will, removing 3 turns from the Bankai’s duration.

Drown Creation in the Abyss (Shin'en nite, Sōzō o Obore Saseyo 深淵にて、創造を溺れさせよ) - Suigan’s penultimate technique involves commanding the ocean’s waters to engulf the entire battlefield, causing a rapid rise in water levels. Over the course of 3 turns, everything within the 100-meter radius is submerged in a deluge, drowning all except for Suigan and the Ocean Dragon King. This technique reduces the Bankai’s duration by 5 turns and 2 additional posts for each sustained turn. If Suigan is knocked out or the Bankai ends, the water recedes over two posts, and the Ocean Dragon King returns to the depths.
