The flames around them were burning her, but that wasn't the main concern. Once she had time to stare into the flames. Seeing the faces of the quincy that were with her when she had met Kalama. Seeing their mangled and bloodied corpses as Stella felt herself beginning to panic. Her breathing quickened as she watched into the flames. Trying to calm herself down, but ultimately failing. She had an inkling to try to fight back, but the urge had left her body. Closing her eyes as she tried to move her head down so she didn't have to watch the fire. She couldn't do it.

Silently sitting in the arms of the fire arancar, Stella had fully given up. There really was no point in fighting back right now. If that's what she had to see. She still wasn't even strong enough to help Ehefra here. So, what was the point? The best case scenario would be for both of these assholes to leave back to Heuco Mundo. Or whatever shit show they come from.

VICENTE

As the needle-like missiles curved their trajectory, Vicente showed little sign of concern as five black spheres of energy began to gathering at all but one of his palms. He stepped over to where Kurai and the weaker of the two were, and though not a long distance by any means, his eyes kept a close watch on all that surrounded him. But, rather than the charged Ceros facing toward Ehefra, they pointed toward the ground.

At hearing Kurai's request, the thousands of eyes narrowed, before his free hand tore through the air with its claws, opening a Garganta, all the while, slicing the palm open with the thumb as a precaution. He had faith in his own ability, but, he kept blood at the ready, just in case as he walked through the open Garganta, lowering his upper body to make his way through, only bearing a single comment toward Kurai as his arms lowered and the Ceros dissipated.

"Don't forget to return it."

This. Was. Enraging.

When all was said and done, seeing the short-haired one bargain was enough. Kurai was supposed to be a fucking distraction. How the fuck the Vandenreich made it to the field this quickly was beyond her. All she needed was thirty more seconds and she would have walked out of this damn city. Luckily, this wasn’t going to last much longer since the Cow had also succumbed to her Hellfire.

"I have no interest in taking the girl to Hueco Mundo...Thanks love and don't worry, darlin' I'll return her," Kurai said and took a step back into the garganta Vicente had opened. She still kept hold on Stella, eyeing Ehefra the entire time until Vicente was safely inside. "You humans... an adorable bunch... Always so focused on the wrong thing. You really have no idea what's really happening... do you?" Kurai chuckled, placing a small kiss on Stella's cheek and then shoving the hallucinating woman straight toward the needles, but still closer to Ehefra. "Bye bye now!"

Kurai immediately moved to the side, not allowing her body to be seen through the opening of the garganta and waiting for it to close so they could head 'home.'

"When I wake up... I'm coming back for her..."

Disgust gripped her core as she watched the creatures taking their time. Well... one of them. As it were, the more beastlike of the two seemed far more ...civil and focused. The thing was clearly on a mission. Interesting that the visage of a monster had the higher understanding to bear itself at the task ahead of it. The female offered a taunting shred of information. Ah, excellent. Something bigger was at work here.

She was real fucking tired of finding that out. And when at long last, Stella was released, and the Arrancar vanished into their garganta, she allowed herself to half-collapse onto one knee, her reishi claws sinking into the asphalt as a HISS of pain wracked through her. FUCK.

Every inch of her was screaming in pain, but that had to wait. She could already tell that the rest of the troops in the area would be securing the area. She slowly rose up to her feet after a few calming breaths and sucked in air. Ah... yes... agony. The pain of her fractured ribs digging into the sensitive flesh surrounding it. Yea, some of those were probably more than fractured. And before she knew it, she turned to see the medical team urging her to lay down.

She turned and looked to a similar team looking to take Stella to safety, and she clenched her teeth. It'd been a while since she'd actually found herself....lacking. Her eyes shifted to Beeps, as she allowed her volstandig to fade and slumped down onto the offered stretcher. No, she wasn't going to keep a stiff upper lip and just try to get back. She wasn't going to overexert herself. And most certainly, she didn't give credence to the thoughts of ineptutide that threatened to crawl in.

She was a very different type of woman.
She was focused on what she would do to take them apart next time.
Whatever it fucking took.

Her hand trembled.
