Opportunity awaits (Yushio/Doku)

Yushio hadn't been to plenty of bars in Karakura. Not that she's the kind of person to pick out any part of the day to sit around and drown herself in a glass or two of poisonous substances. Only times when she does let herself go is if she was at a party of some kind but she'd never been to a party nor does she have any friends who were party goers. She was always alone, drifting from place to place.

The only friend she had were the reminders that made themselves at home in her head, intruding in whatever thought that occurred. She couldn't figure out the time to wind down and release some of the stress that clinged to her like a child to a parent as she's always on a quest to better improve herself and rid the world of the hollows that's been a thorn in people's side. Bars seemed to be an ideal place as a flow of information is constantly swarming around.

Customers sit down and have a few drinks while carrying on hour long discussions before finally parting ways, though there's other places that benefit from the flow of information but bars seemed the most congested for there are many fateful encounters occuring. Yushio happened to find herself at a relatively new bar. It appeared new to her as she'd never seen the bar before, but with so many family owned establishments it's easy to miss a few in a busy city like Karakura. Yushio stepped into the shade and entered the building. Her eyes skipped over the medley of drinks on display and a man across the counter. Something about him marked her as intriguing which prompted her to approach him. "Are you the owner of this establishment? I happened to notice a flyer with the name that matched the name of the building." She looked around for a bit as if it was her first time being in a bar" Looks rather.... welcoming" She said

Yushio was rather impressed as solo business owners were rather scarce, because there were always larger companies competing with other large companies in order to see which one can out sell the other. Small businesses tend to stick to what people wanted most for there's always an acute shortage in someone's life that needs addressing, whether it be entertainment or pertaining to diet. What's important about keeping a business afloat is the passion you put in and the work you're willing to put in to see it thrive. In the case of this bar, it engendered a laid back atmosphere, mainly due to the fact that the owner of the bar was laid back as well and with a lot of time on his hand at that. "Just looking around." She responded. She ran her index finger across the wooden counter before eventually meeting his gaze.

What really got her interested in the place wasn't the bar but the owner as her soul tells her that he's more than what he appears to be but not in a bad way as she doesn't sense the foulness that hollows emanate. "Is this what you normally do or do you have any other side gig? If you really want this place booming, maybe make it a hotpot for some rather interesting company if you know what I mean" She said. She knows that Japan had to be teeming with unique characters as she believes that hollows are attracted to those types. The spiritually aware such as her whilst feeding on those who are oblivious to their spiritual adversary. Though the man before her could be just a typical boring human, she hopes that she's wrong about her initial assessment of him. There isn't anything wrong living a normal and comfortable life, away from the ruckus that hollows cause. However, she doesn't have the kind of luxury to sit around as she much prefer to gain strength and do something about the infestation that's messing with humans lives.

"Im going to be upfront with you" Yushios tone of voice changed as her eyes narrowed to look more serious. "Im in search of connections, anyone who can point me to the right directions" she rested her right forearm on the counter opposite of the bartender. "Since you claim to bring in interesting guests, I assume one of them might be either a fellow Fullbringer like me or a Quincy, or any other race for that matter." She didn't expect the bartender to understand what she requested, though she hoped that her words were spoken clearly to him.

She didn't come to the bar so she could get herself drunk, as she wasn't the type to waste her time on things she wouldn't benefit from. She was on a quest and she hoped that the bartender could help make it less of a drag as she feels as if she's facing a brick wall. She hasn't been productive as far as her fullbring abilities go since she has yet to fully tap into them, so she hoped to find someone who can point her in the right direction. "I'd like to know anyone you might have encountered, someone you can tell that isn't as human as they appear. Would make this job easier for me and in return I might help out in whatever requests you might need." She finishes with a smile.

A lone brow rose when Doku had claimed to be both a Quincy and a fullbringer which sparked curiosity in her eyes. She shouldn't be too surprised considering that the world is a pretty large fish bowl, so who would know what walks of life people have treaded. She was curious as to how a union between two separate races could coalesce. She couldn't help but chuckle as she thought up numerous possibilities for one to possess benefits of both races; the amount of power one could wield should they learn how to wield it. "You're missing out on the things you could achieve, should you walk the path of your ancestors." She said as she strokes her chin.

The bar was rather talkative at this hour as people minded their own business, downing a few shots before lurching out of the pub. None knew or rather cared what the two were talking about as they were too busy exchanging a few words with their colleagues. Not that what they were discussing was top secret information. Yushio would doubt normies would understand what the hell a fullbringer or a Quincy was and would mistaken for some type of dish. "Just looking to kickstart my journey, yaknow? I ain't some type of terrorist or anything, so there's no need to worry. If I was..." She held her thumb up and pointed it downwards. "This place would've been levelled, but I'm not the type to waste my time burning down buildings" She said in a joking manner.

Yushios puzzled expression remained. There was a lot more to learn than she had expected, which was good for her as the more knowledge she can consume the better her understanding is about the world. Naievity can only go so far, or rather as far as ones home to a mailbox. Walking in a world like this with a blindfold is asking for trouble, as it takes one misled individual to walk into something that could change their lives and not in a good way. So she wanted to take this opportunity to learn as much as she can, in order to apply it to her own journey of self improvement and avoid any costly mistakes. Amazed by the portal that Doku had made, she began to show a deeper interest in the man as well as what she could achieve if she knew how to manifest her powers. "I always wanted to know what its like to be something more." She raised her right hand high like she was reaching for the sun despite the sky being blanketed by a wooden ceiling. "All I have is knowledge of what I am but nothing else" She examined her hands as if she was hoping for something to come out of them before placing them back on the wooden counter top. "I'm just ready to take things to the next level and show those spirits that humans aren't ones to mess around." She said. Yushio was determined to forge a path that could lead to less tragedy but to do that she needed something that could make her stand out. That's why she's being doing a bunch of travelling and meeting different people, because what better way to acquire knowledge than to meet new people?

No one wouldn't take her seriously if she was some run of the mill Fullbringer, so she wanted to separate herself from the rest of the competition and seek out people for guidance. Even if some are weaker than her. "I've heard some things about both the vandenreich and the city of lights. In fact, I've paid a visit there one time and met a chick along the way." She mentioned. "Kinda odd place if you ask me." Indeed, city of lights was a strange place that she had ever visited. Though she plans on going there again and try her luck. "I'll take whatever that's available"
