Shunko Addition

Yo. There's a few things to cover here.

Firstly, it was brought to my attention by other staff members a concern about my grading of this character and I recognise them as valid since my priority to get this application graded and the many things going on in life made me work backwards from Shunko rather than addressing the skills fundamentally.

The primary concern that was highlighted was that doing creates an issue we've fought against for all of last year which is skills being misrepresented. Highlighted by the comments that Yugiri and Kalama both have these skills and so they should both show a 300% boost.

It's a comparative argument rather than an argument to support Kalama for Kalama's own merit because comparing those two characters simplified down to both having advanced doesn't reflect the difference between them despite being of the same skill level. Even focusing purely on Shunko and dismissing the disparity in how their skills are displayed,

Both being written with simple shunko but Kalama is written to be incomplete, having only just unlocked it, while Yugiri's is written to be developed over multiple years.

The second point raised is reason. Of the characters that were listed as using the boosted shunko, they all had reason to prioritise shunko. Yugiri has the negative side of a vizard written into her zanpakuto that makes her pursue other avenues, Shishiyuki possesses the ancestral zanpakuto of her family and being unable to use it pursues other avenues, Igen's zanpakuto is based on being a tiger that stalks so it doesn't release a burst of energy, etc.

The character Kikoto was brought up among discussions as a character that conveys reason even though they don't have Shunko, due to the character being very enamoured by the technique that he pursues it and many different elements of his application reflect that in comparison to Kalama who has it and only really touches on it in the last paragraph of her history and the shunko being presented as inferior to her zanpakuto due to being incomplete and needing to be improved.

Verdict: I'm not going to approve this boost for the above reasons. I am not going to take away anything due to the error being on me, but we would like Kalama to expand on her shift of perspective to pursue this path, develop her shunko, and expand more on her proficiency in the two fields of Hakuda and Kido, in-character before we consider this.
