Making Waves [Catherine, Priscilla]

Ahh, it was nice and cool out with the sea breeze, she was sitting out and enjoying the weather with leftovers sitting on her lap, a vegetarian sandwich was the safest meal she felt to pick in this unfamiliar place. Anyone else would be fussing at her for being so picky, but her internal logic was a simple pattern of "I don't know what the workers here do, I could assume they're following health & safety protocol, but how sure of that could I be?". She wasn't up to ask, nor had she ever received a recommendation from someone who's opinion she actually valued.
At her side was a bizarre amount of journals, stuffed taller with a variety of sticky notes and book marks to highlight particular sections - her few days here thus far had been rather informative with the subjects she could get down; there were definitely a few who presented stubbornly and wouldn't cough up what she wanted to hear, and she wasn't particularly excited to start a scene.
Arrancar... Arrancar... Her eyes waft about in a steady search for people with visible mask fragments, strange markings, or other physical eccentricities.

Ah, she finally found one.
"...Hey, I like your outfit," She'd state plainly, looking upon the Arrancar with some manner of interest. She hadn't come across one with such vibrant hair before, she wondered if that signaled this one was particularly problematic in some way, much like poisonous species. Whatever, she looked real down in the dumps, but not in an unfriendly sort of way - she looked more like she was bored than in a plain ol' bad mood.
"Your expression doesn't match it all that much though, what's got you bummed?" That's it. Reach out, with some illusion of care or concern. It'd be easier to convince her into chatting that way.

Woah, someone rose from the dead. She couldn't think of many arrancar that presented with such a childish disposition - most of them had some degree of edge to them, but this one seemed way too bubbly and eager. Either she was weak, or this was some tactic to get close to her food... Or maybe she was just screwed up in the head. She got some indication of the first and the third... Carefully entertain it.
"Uh, sure," She looked a little put off to the idea of someone she just met wanting to befriend her, but if it meant more building for her research... "You can't find fun on your own? Looks like others get in on it pretty swimmingly..."

Humans here, boring? They seemed pretty disgustingly 'fun' to her, hopped up on some kind of desirous activity - ruthlessly hedonistic and stupid within it as they unknowingly slept around beasts. She'd seen the Hollows or Arrancar lurking here, looking on for their next victim or source of fulfillment, not that it was her problem. Apart from the one or two she had to 'gently' remind not to fool around with her, she was left plenty alone.
But this strange, scrawny one... Gave her weird vibes. She seemed harmless, incapable, even naive, but that comment of how she seemed different rubbed her wrong. Whatever, she wanted information, she'll play friendship then break it off when she has nothing more to squeeze out of her.
"Me? Different? That so?" She'd speak with a fleeting breath, a show of enthused disbelief, "Aren't you a discerning one... Okay, well, if we're friends then that means we have to get to know each other. What's your name? Where you from?"
