All Things Fun Happen At The Beach! [Open]

After a bit of exchange of names, it seemed that everyone was now no longer strangers. The fox couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when Priscilla jumped to hug Isamu, but she simply shrugged it away. The girl was evidently overjoyed to be at a place with sun and sand that wasn't a dark and dreary Hueco Mundo. Her attention was soon diverted to Isamu's compliments. The Kitsune gave Isamu a warm smile when he complimented her name and herself while doing so. Really, this man was working quite well on getting everyone's number, huh? Or maybe just a few? Ikari simply smiled at Isamu before her gaze turned to Sabriel; who just casually occupied the free spot on the Kitsune's towel. The fox simply flashed Sabriel a brief grin before she turned her attention to the group at large, considering their options.

"Volley ball does sound like fun... So does a water fight of some sort... Couldn't we do both?"

Ikari's five tails twitched and flicked in unison as she considered their options, and especially after her suggestion that they could do both. What better way to cool off after a game of volleyball? However, the Kitsune soon considered the teams... they would be uneven, no matter who wanted to go where. A five person group wasn't easy to split up. Ikari did have some advantages as far as speed, so she could be on the team with less people... But that didn't mean everything would be made even. However, the Kitsune soon came out of her small reverie and smiled warmly.

"Well, what do you all think? We would have uneven teams, and I don't mind being on the team with two people, but how does that sound to you all? If we don't all agree, no point going forward with the fun, right?"

Ikari smiled before she resumed her seat upon that chair of hers, covered by her umbrella. It was quite nice, all things considered, and the added company of an attractive woman like Sabriel made it all the better. Ikari let a gentle purr escape her as the fox gave Sabriel a warm smile before she leaned back a bit and allowed everyone else to consider their options. Luckily, there were volleyballs they could use for volleyball; and a net too. All they had to do know was just to simply agree. Otherwise, there would be no fun in their little chance beach meeting~!

It was rather nice to be in the company of so many friendly individuals and Sabriel found herself already quite at home across the group. It never took long for her to adapt and in the presence of so many beautiful people, it was even easier. The Arrancar did not know where to turn at times, her desire detector completely all over the place at this point but it was alright, she would cope although she had to admit that it made focusing on one person for long rather more difficult than normal.

The mention of Aizen from Priscilla was an intriguing topic and while Sabriel did not comment, she found herself briefly thinking back on those times. She had been around a long time and certainly remembered his era although that was before the Arrancar had built her own little paradise. That arrogant fool had never been a favourite of hers, as he had seemed rather immune to the advances of anyone, let alone herself. She had tried to get into his inner circle but outside of the Espada, he seemed to have little interest in other beings who dwelled in Hueco Mundo. Honestly, Sabriel was more than happy when the news reached her that he was dead.

Listening to the conversation, she would tilt her head, amused by the options given and certainly interested enough to take part, even if she was probably on the weaker end when it came to physical strength and speed. “I ask to be put on the team with more people as I am probably going to be a bit of a weak link. My talents lie elsewhere.” To those who knew her well, it would be apparent as to what she was talking about.

Sabriel did catch the purring from the kitsune beside her and the Arrancar would turn her gaze briefly towards Ikari, a smirk on her face. She was a lovely woman and dark haired being could not help but feel a certain spark about her, one that certainly captured Sabriel’s attention. In fairness though, that applied to everyone else as well. She had hit the jackpot today.

Ecstatic at having made not one or two, but four new friends, Priscilla couldn't remember the last time she was this excited. Maybe when she went treasure hunting with Kleiny? Either way, she was totally and completely thrilled. At the same time though, their discussion brought forth a disturbing memory in her mind.

Priscilla had learned about beach volleyball when she had been invited to play with a group of vacationing strangers at the Brazil resort. They spent a while explaining the rules, gave some pointers about how to serve and spike the ball, were thrilled at how excited she was to try something new, and then immediately grew despondent as she struck the ball so hard it practically exploded. Priscilla apologized profusely but by then the damage had been done and the group instead made plans to go get lunch at one of the resort's many restaurants.

Now, with the possibility of playing that game again, Priscilla was nervous. What if she destroyed the ball again? Would they still want to be her friends? Maybe if she did she could go find a replacement quickly enough to appease them. It was these questions that kept her visibly zoned out as they discussed possible teams and the like, Priscilla's cerulean eyes glazed over as she stared into the distance.

"Hm, hm..."

Isamu remained relatively silent as he listened to the women express their opinions on the upcoming game and where they wished to be placed. Isamu didn't miss Sabriel's implications, eliciting a soft chortle from the male.

She wasn't wrong, and though he certainly wished to see those talents in action, the moment didn't quite call for it yet. Admiring the view of everyone present, he stroked his chin quietly, lost in thought. Whose team would he even choose?

The uneven one or the one with more members? It didn't matter to him. It was all in the name of good fun, and he was already enjoying himself. Stepping forward, he crossed his arms with a grin as he stood on the side of whoever chose to be on the uneven team.

"I'll choose the team with fewer members. Make it easy on whoever's feelin' a little nervous about our volleyball game."

Now, it was simply a matter of who wanted who on their team. Easy enough, right?

Ikari surveyed the individuals before her and allowed them to contemplate which team they wished to be upon. During that time, Ikari moved towards Isamu's side, but stopped short of it, and smiled gently at the people before her, her five tails waving in tandem.

"How about me and Isamu against the three of you? Or would one of you prefer to be with Isamu instead? I'd like to make our odds as even as possible; if we can."

Afterwards, Ikari decided to let the four decide who would be best seated on the other's team. In that time, Ikari walked off to collect a volleyball, and also secure the five a proper area to play volleyball. It was a large beach, and there was ample space for such things. After a brief walk, Ikari secured both the needed factors for them to play Beach Volleyball. Ikari smiled as she approached, her tails waving merrily while she spun the ball on her finger. Truly, someone was ready to enjoy herself.

"So~! How have we figured out how we all stand? Stella, Priscilla, Sabriel, how do we feel about me joining Isamu? Or would you prefer if one of you joined Isamu instead?"

Truthfully, Ikari didn't mind at this point. She knew that if she were to side with Isamu, as the team of two, that may leave things a bit uneven for the other team. Priscilla seemed capable, but Stella appeared to be a bit weaker than the rest, and Ikari could only imagine what Sabriel's expertise lie in. Regardless, the fox woman was more than glad to let those around her decide where they wished to go. Perhaps it would be best for Stella to pair with Isamu. But, she didn't wish to decide that.

As the conversation continued regarding the teams, Sabriel’s eyes would drift towards her fellow Arrancar, who looked momentarily as though she was somewhere else entirely. Naturally, that concerned the dark haired woman slightly, feeling a twinge in her desire detector due to it. She despised unhappiness and while she was not an empath as such, the Arrancar just could not shake the feeling that something was wrong. Well, that could not stand and Sabriel would find herself standing up and walking over towards the beautiful red haired girl.

“Are you alright?” She asked softly, her full attention on Priscilla for the time being. “I cannot help but get the feeling that something is wrong.” Sabriel hoped that she was mistaken but the dark haired woman had been around for a long time and she supposed she had kind of become an odd sort of psychiatrist over the years. It seemed that she spent more time simply talking than anything else these days, which she most certainly did not mind.

She would briefly turn and say to the group, adding her opinion on the situation. “Those teams sound fine to me.”

Like a restarted engine, Priscilla came back to life when Sabriel approached and asked how she was doing. She shook her head as if to get webs off her, her crimson hair flying through the air, then turned to fully face the other woman. Without provocation Priscilla stepped forward and embraced the raven-haired beauty in a tight hug, separating after a few seconds to say "I'm great! Just zoned out for a second, thanks for your concern Sabriel!" She appeared as if nothing happened, her smile as sincere as any.

Turning to the rest of the group, Priscilla announced her agreement with the rest of them "Sounds great!" In truth, they could have said literally anything and she would have readily agreed; that was just Priscilla's nature, to go with the flow no-questions-asked. She hated being bored, but even more than that she hated being alone and Priscilla had determined to never again be without friends.
