A Wild Time [Manasa, Priscilla]

Recently Priscilla had really settled into her new life at the Brazilian beach resort she now called home. It wasn't a difficult transition for the crimson haired beauty, at least not with Manasa around to smooth things over. Life had been a nonstop string of partying and total relaxation. During the former she spent plenty of time with Manasa, while the latter gave her time to meet some interesting characters in Kenichi and Kita. All in all, Priscilla was grateful and glad to have come here.

When her friend offered to take her along on some business, Priscilla readily joined. She didn't have anything else to do, though even if she had she doubted she would have turned Manasa down. She didn't have any idea what the business was, but Priscilla was hardly one to ask questions; she would be perfectly content following whatever orders Manasa had for her. Whatever the mission though, it was evidently something reasonably serious given her friend's immediate release of her Resurrección, which she seemed to eagerly show off. Priscilla couldn't blame her either, it was an interesting transformation to say the least.

Upon being prodded to get naked, Priscilla understood the meaning behind Manasa's words. "Oh, alright Manasa. If you say so!" Preparing to release her Zanpakuto, she held her red and blue parasol in front of her and spoke its release phrase "Black out, Pulpo." With a flick of her wrist Priscilla opened the parasol, and with it came a rush of Spiritual Pressure that swiftly engulfed her body for a moment before dissipating.

When the smoke cleared, Priscilla's released form became visible. She was now entirely monochrome, her vibrant reds and blues replaced with varying lifeless shades of grey. From low on her back outstretched eight long ink-splotched tentacles which hung in the air around her like foreboding sentries. She hadn't used this form in a while, and felt it made her quite a bit duller, but the power resonating from her black and white body was palpable. "What next, Manasa?"

With an Arrancar's release typically seen as this monstrous or hideous transformation, Priscilla was grateful hers didn't so drastically change her appearance. Still, she had never been called "cute" before in her Resurrección. That was part of why she liked Manasa so much; she was always so willing to shower her in compliments! Though not a vain woman at her heart, she couldn't help but enjoy the nice things she said about her.

"Your release is rather charming too, you know!" Priscilla's words were sincere as she took in the glinting scale-like skin and long flowing hair of her companion. She was like a beautiful viper, enticing enough to draw you in to where she could sink her fangs into you, leaving no escape. But Priscilla didn't want to escape, she felt right at home here with Manasa.

Priscilla's grayscale eyes followed Manasa's actions with intrigue. She had no idea what was to await them in the surrounding brush, and was surprised to see...barrels? Had they been sent here just to fetch some barrels? Priscilla was almost disappointed. She hadn't expected some epic journey, but the mission could have been more enticing than this!

Thoughts were interrupted as Priscilla heard Manasa explain the purpose of the barrels and then felt herself suddenly pulled into the other woman's embrace. She was surprised to feel Manasa's scaly skin felt no different than usual, and when she looked down to see their bodies intertwined she nearly laughed at how starkly they contrasted. It was like an artist hadn't finished coloring a drawing.

"Oh? You don't know what will happen, Manasa? What if it just makes them puke and over like when they drink too much of the stuff served at the resort! I hope it's something more exciting than that."

Priscilla nodded along, listening intently as Manasa talked about her boss. They sounded like a riot, at least from what she'd heard thus far. But also intimidating, like a scheming mob boss sitting in a tower way above the rabble. It wasn't fear tickling her extremities though, but excitement instead. Meeting interesting people was one of the main reasons she had come to the Living World after all. Great as Manasa is, Priscilla thought, the world was a big place, full of unique and fun people, like Kita and Kenichi.

"I think that would be pretty boring anyway. Killing them I mean. Sure a lot of them are boring humans, but...well...actually, whatever!" Even just talking about those people who sat around on the beach all day doing nothing and called it vacation was a snorefest to Priscilla. Instead she contemplated what Manasa had said about needing to be sneaky. She rubbed her chin with one hand and looked off into the distance, deep in thought; how to be sneaky in a great big resort with people all over the place? Aha! thought Priscilla, coming up with a great idea.

"I know how we can sneak around!" exclaimed Priscilla excitedly. Before she gave Manasa a chance to come up with her own plan, one of her octopus-like appendages reached down and set its end gently atop the heterochromic woman's head, marking her with Firma so the following deluge of black ink that dropped on their heads would leave Manasa an exception to its concealing power. Another of Priscilla's long arms reached down and poured more of the camouflaging ink on the barrels as well.

"Now nobody can see us and the barrels but us! Isn't that genius, Manasa?"

It felt good to be complimented, regardless of who was doing it, but Priscilla was glad it was Manasa. Doing things that impress friends is one of her favorite pastimes. How else do you keep friends around? You have to please them, keep them happy, see your worth so they don't abandon you. These were the lessons she had learned over her nearly two hundred years of existence, and why she was always so willing to do whatever it is her companions ask of her.

Despite its obvious potential for subterfuge, Priscilla had never really considered using her ink for that kind of thing. It was useful in fights, sure, but sneaking around was not one of Priscilla's strong suits or interests. Or at least, it hadn't been; if that's what Manasa wanted, that's what she now wanted.

Reaching out, Priscilla tucked a lock of hair behind Manasa's ear and responded excitedly. "That's true! We can do whatever we want, can't we? Now that is a fun thought."

As Manasa seemed to almost get lost in thought for a second, Priscilla's head tilted like a confused dog's. She stared into the woman's differently colored eyes, wondering in silence what she might be thinking about. Though their relationship had been pretty straightforward since meeting each other, with much of their time spent partying and living in an endless Spring Break, Manasa was still a bit of an enigma to Priscilla. She didn't know much about her past, nor her work, and though Manasa made abundantly clear what she enjoyed doing, Priscilla wasn't caught up on the why. Then again, the airheaded woman thought, you don't need a reason to want to have fun.

"Oh, right....work." With a slight sigh, Priscilla extended her appendages to the handful of nearby barrels and picked them up, suction cups suddenly appearing along their lengths to better hold onto the precious merchandise. "Ok Manasa, all set! Just lead the way." said Priscilla with a smile, once more excited at the idea of doing whatever they want once they're finished.
