CHARACTER OF THE SEASON
I. What's OTS?
Here, we go back over the last three months and pick out different finalists to discern who was the best of the season in certain categories. These nominations, in particular, are for the months of June, July, and August.
This particular OTS category is for the Character of the Season. Nominate the character that you think had the most impact, saw the most growth, had the best interactions, or just in general that you think was the best for the season.
II. OTS Rules
1. Each member can only submit one nomination per category, so think hard on it.
2. Make sure you name the actual members relevant to your nomination.
3. Please include a link to your nomination.

Nominating Natasha. Following her (and even threading) with her this season has been fun and eyecatching, she's really picked up steam.

I'll be nominating Amaranta. Big cat girl has certainly gotten some good traction, and has been a part of quite a few things going on. Maybe not like, major plots, but Amaranta is certainly very present. Be it punching faces or just chilling with some people. Over the last couple months she's stood out as an active and enjoyable presence. She is an utterly entertaining character to watch, and boy did we get to watch her a lot this season.

I'm nominating Byakuya Kuchiki. Not only do I think Serenity is doing an excellent job RPing as him, but he's been getting a lot of interesting threads. I also think that he's an excellent example of what to do with someone who was a canon Captain, but has not been active in the PH lore enough to retain that position.

I'll be nominating Safira for Character of the Season. I think she's been a really stellar example of an antagonistic force on the site without just being a transparently evil villain, and she's gotten plenty of traction through both fighting in AfriCatastrophe and through her more shrewd approach to dealing with people, baiting them in and giving them the ol' snake milk. She's very interesting to follow, and is always entertaining to read given her personality.

Hot take, I know, but hear me out. My nomination goes to Klein. Purely from a standpoint of being in plotchannel on a daily basis, I feel not many characters alone can generate as much flame and scrutiny as he does. He's a piece of shit, Rawk makes no secret about it, we laugh. He's always a common subject and I think I can proudly say he's one of the top-tier glorious bastards of Platinum Hearts. The fact that he reads well and embodies that is why I feel he deserves my vote.
