Cleasing the Forest(Training)(Open)

Volgana stepped in the forest surrounding Karakura and looked around with wandering eyes. After an increased level of hollows in the area, Volgana had decided to take a break from the Soul Society. A five day hunt to annihilate the might of the hollows and take away from the numbers inside that posed a potential threat to Karakura. As he entered the forest he noticed the quiet surrounding him. Not normal forest quiet but almost a dead quiet. He couldn't here the rustle of other animals, he couldn't hear the birds even though it was spring time and the trees should of been filled to the brim. He eased the first inch of his zanpakuto out of its sheath and walked casually for roughly ten minutes until he reached a small clearing. So far he had seen few signs of any activity in the forest, and he hadn't sensed anything close to his current position. The power of the forest was wierd and it was throwing off his sensor.

Easing his back against a tree he stopped rested his eyes for a moment. So far he couldn't sense a thing, and he hadn't heard a single noise. He opened his eyes slowly and noticed a object heading toward him from behind. Jumping forward as the item crashing into the tree, his glasses thrown from his face. Quickly he got to his feet and tried to speak. He could hear no sound coming from his voice. Once again he saw something coming from behind him . In a flash he drew his zanpakuto and blocked what appeared to be a large tail. It wasn't until that point that he noticed the creature at the end of the tail. As he struggled to throw the creature off he noticed that the hollow was shaped like a human, but had a fish for a head, a turtle shell for a torso, and a long tail sticking out of the shell. As he threw the tail aside and drew his chefs knife from the sheath on his back. He flipped his zanpakuto around so that the blade tip was pointed toward the ground in his left hand and darted forward.

As he neared the strange looking hollow, the tail stuck again. Locking his blade to the side of the tail, Volgana rushed forward, shaving off skin as he ran and swung his sword at a angle locking it under both arms of the creature and struck with his chefs knife. Quickly he stabbed the Hollow 5 times before flipping up on to the hollows arms and grabbing the handle of his zanpakuto and yanked up and back. Sword passed through flesh and bone as his zanpakuto sliced right through the chinks in the hollows armor and removed his arms. Volgana jumped back as the hollow tried to lash out with its tail once more. With a solid flip of his wrist Volgana embedded his chefs knife into the skull of the hollow, right in the middle of its forehead. As it struggled to stay standing Volgana's body disappeared. He appeared in the air above the hollow as its fish like mouth was opening and closing like it was gasping for air. Volgana slammed his foot into the hilt of the knife, pushing it through all the way. As the hollow laid on the ground, its face flopping around like a fish left up on the surface to long, struggling to live, Volgana drove the tip of his zanpakuto through the middle of its head. As the body dissipated, volgana noticed that his sense of hearing was returning. Volgana then noticed the holes in the hollows turtle like shell were pumping a white dust into the air. As the body dissipated, the amount of dust decreased.

The sounds of the forest returned and Volgana heard the growl, screams, and cries of the forest. Quickly plucking his chefs knife from the ground, Volgana sheathed both his chefs knife and his zanpakuto and climbed into a nearby tree. He stopped to write a report on what he had seen.

Giygas rested his hand ontop of his GiyGas Mask, which he developed himself a few years ago. He moved his fingers to the dile on the side of the mask, and turned it clockwise until it reached a certain point and clicked. Giygas then spoke, "Ah... that's better..." He spoke softly, the switch was a toner to project his voice out as if it wasn't inside a mask. Giygas knew the mask was important to the survival of everyone around him though, and didn't keep it on for him, but for those around him. As he rested his arm down, the sound of loud breathing came from him, an echoing of his breath inside the mask as he began to walk through town.

As Giygas walked the people around him stared at him, as though he were an outcast, Giygas was used to it at this point, having apsolutely no friends, he has grown into an insane state, but not violent insane. He hears his mothers voice, which is comforting at times, and as he walks he looks out to the forest infront of him, fairly far away. Giygas begins to walk towards it, he liked the forest as it had animals among other things which could sense the innocence in Giygas, and didn't wish to make him an outcast. As Giygas stepped off the towns land and into the forest, he couldn't hear much at all, as though it were a dead sort of sound.

Giygas looked around for animals, stepping through the forest, tree after tree in his sight, he found none. It was if they all ran away for some reason. Giygas continued to walk through the forest. He then heard loud sounds of battle in the distance, as he ran towards it, the sounds became louder and louder as he entered into a fighting sequence between a strangely dressed man and a hollow. As the hollow was defeated by the man, the sound in the area came back, and he could once again, hear the sound of his friends form the forests.

Giygas watched as the man climbed up a tree and began to write, which he was curious about so he walked near him, keeping his distance though because Giygas was very shy. He didn't want to bring attention to himself, so he managed to sneak his way around and looked up at him. He was afraid that this guy might attack him or something, Giygas kept his eyes wide open to keep track of the mans movements.

A light breeze rippled through the trees as Volgana finished his report causing the pages to blow around slightly. Volgana sighed as he waited for the breeze to pass before continuing his report. He was surprised that the first hollow had been so strong. If he had met it later on in his mission he might of been defeated. Such a thought sent shivers down his spine. He hoped that the rest of his mission went smoothly. He stood, balancing his weight on two branches and slipped the pen and notebook into his pocket. Quickly he made his way down the tree and landed on the ground. He could feel something close. He couldn't be sure of what it was because of the other power signatures he could feel in the forest. He walked slowly around the other side of the clearing, his eyes searching for whatever was watching him.

He walked into the brush and continued walking until he reach an area where the trees were slightly thicker. Using the cover of the trees he darted to the other side of the clearing, keeping low and allowing the brush to hide his figure from sight. As he encircled the clearing where he had been he reach an area that was behind where he was sitting. He could hear a odd sound coming from in front of him. Almost like the sound of heavy breathing. He noticed someone ahead that had a odd looking mask on his face. Volgana inched closer, his hand resting upon his chefs knife when his foot struck a branch, causing a loud crack to ring through the forest. Cursing his mistake Volgana darted to the side and hid behind a tree that had been beside him.

Volgana peeked around the corner of the tree to get a better look at his current target. It was a man that was wearing a odd looking mask. He couldn't understand the use of such a mask and wondered what the man was hiding underneath it. Suddenly a massive burst of reiatsu caught his attention and he realized that he had been spotted. He watched the man knock down a full size tree with little trouble. This man before him was indeed powerful but Volgana felt that their level of reiatsu was quite similar. Volgana gasped in amazement as the man picked up the tree that he had knocked over and place it pack in the ground. He wasn't sure who the man in front of his was, or what he was but he posed a potential threat to the current situation. Releasing that much reiatsu was sure to attract the attention of some very unwanted guests.

"Alright you spotted me." Volgana said as he walked behind from the tree he had been hiding behind. He had to make a decision quick before all hell broke loose. He could either take out the new target and completely end this current problem or he could choose to run away. A prolonged fight could be bad seeing that the time he would have would be short. But he wasn't sure of how his new target would react if he ran. Would he give chase or would he let him go. He was unsure because of his targets actions. He had knocked down the tree with such force but then picked it up and put it back. This was most unsettling. "He let go of the knife on his back and extended his hand in a wave. "Sorry about the sneaking up, I was just unsure of what was following me. I must ask why you were spying on me." Volgana smiled enough to where he seemed sincere but inside he was tense, unable to predict the outcome of this encounter.
