As the two Zanpakuto's finally met each other in battle, much more than a simple spar between the two was ensuing. It was a clash of wills, a clash of power, and a clash of determination! Shura letting out her own battle cry as her muscles tensed, the Reiatsu that erupted from not just her own attack but from the meeting of Tento's Zanpakuto allowing for naught an inch between the two to be anything but one of their energies. Whatever was left in Shura's tank was being put into this attack, everything she had to see just how strong the Shikai of a fellow Fourth was.

Unfortunately, Zanpakuto versus Zanpakuto, Shura was unable to push past the defense. The chain, however, was a fighting style she was experienced with from her own Bankai. So Shura attempted to do that which she'd always done to dodge an attack from mid-air... except she couldn't, her Jouki while powerful was a double edged sword. Using Shunpo in her exhausted state was sloppy and slow, far too slow to be able to react quick enough and escape the entanglement.

As a result she was swiftly yanked to the ground, leg entangled by the chain. As she impacted the ground, the follow-up attacks were swift, however not swift enough that she couldn't form some semblance of defense. Bringing the head of her axe downwards and resting her arm against the back side of it, using it to shield herself against the attacks from the flail before swinging the hilt of the axe towards Tento's legs in an attempt to trip the Shinigami and give her just enough room and time to stand back up.

However, even so the toll her Jouki took on her was easy to see, even without any major damage to her body she was panting and exhausted, reduced to relying on physical defenses rather than quick and sharp movements.

Tentō Zefā | The Unrefined Paragon

Tento may have a bit more reserve of his spiritual energy right now, but that was not to day that he was spotless and in tip.top shape in comparison to Shura. He had suffered blows, powerful blows that did push and rock his tall frame. As hearty and determined as he was, it would be present on his body whethering away at his stamina. The boost of his Zanpakuto now could only do so much. And with the weight of the batter titling once again, competition was far from over!

Finding Shura yanked to the ground and on the backfoot in defending against the dual flail strike. Tento found himself not sure what to do now. This was the first time he had really used a weapon of this type after all. Nor did he truly know the abilities and concept of his partner now. At least not on a grand level. But he did know that as Shura defended herself he would keep her leg entangled. She prevented herself from being cut, and Tento had to respect that tenacity and focus.

It was clear though that she was spent. And those brunt strikes did nothing to help rejuvenate her body.

He had walked forward after he threw out those two strikes, swinging his sickle around as if it was a helicopter chopper's blade. Keeping an eye on the weary fire princess. Just as he felt like he got close enough to through another strike he found her tossing out a defensive strike. Tento rose the length of his Zanpakuto up to block the blow. Finding the gap of time enough for Shura spring to her feet. All to suffer another yank and pull from Tento's other hand. Hoping to cause her stance to falter further through exhation before being whiiiirled around to be slammed into a wall.

If successful Tento would raise his sickle up above his head from the distance away. A subtle current of wind flowing around it his eyes on her as he panted. Ready to unleash an attack if she chose to not call an end to their spar.

She hadn't lost track of the chain still wrapped around her leg, and as that second yank came to try and once more destabilize her, her foot did indeed lift however it was swiftly brought back down and into the ground to prevent her from moving any further from its influence. Spent on her Spiritual Energy as she was, she knew that a continued clash wouldn't end in her favor now.

However she'd only barely gotten to see Tento's Shikai and thirsted for more of it, yet unlike her recent clashes this spar had taken place in the wee hours of the morning and was just that... a simple spar and it wasn't as if her sparring record was completely unblemished and devoid of losses. So instead she simply held up one hand towards Tento "Stop, I yield this time. It's clear that at this current pace you'll win the spar, I am spent of my Reiatsu at the moment and recovering it will take more time than we have left for this spar."

If the yield was accepted, she'd dismiss her own Shikai and sheath her Zanpakuto before falling to the ground panting, but with a smile on her face. "A good, normal spar... Good for the start of the day, perhaps we can continue this another time?"

Tentō Zefā | The Unrefined Paragon

As quickly as his hand holding his sickle rose up into the air did Shura call out. A tired sigh came from Tentos weary body before his hand came down. Dropping to his side as he smiled. Beaten up but smiling. The sickle and fan dispersed, returning back to the sheath and blade before quickly being slide back into place.

With a walk, slowly due to his drained body and the bruises and injuries. Tento walked over to the downed warrior that pushed him to a new level on this day. His hand went out, extended to her as he bent down to offer repscet and aid getting up. "I would be happy to. But for now, how about you join me for a big breakfast?", Tento would look up after hearing a large THUD. A mountain of the wall falling and pieces of the training ground completely destroyed. "...we...need to talk about a payment plan maybe...".
