SOCIAL THREAD OF THE SEASON

I. What's OTS?

Here, we go back over the last three months and pick out different finalists to discern who was the best of the season in certain categories. These nominations, in particular, are for December 2022, and January and February of 2023.

This particular OTS category is for the Social Thread of the Season. Nominate the non-combat thread that you think displayed the best instance of character writing, development, or just general interpersonal interaction.

II. OTS Rules

1. Each member can only submit one nomination per category, so think hard on it.
2. Make sure you name the actual members relevant to your nomination.

2023 OF THE SEASON VOL. 1

I am nominating Tell Me Your Story.
I am on the fence on whether this should be a social or a combat nomination, and in re-reading it, the part that I found most exciting was based in combat. For a moment, I did even post this in the combat thread section, but that didn't feel right. So, I'm putting it here because the whole thread deserves a nomination, not just the combat section that I adored. The training that occurred between these two was amazing. I loved seeing Henrex push Hiroe into furthering her combat ability by overcoming her doubt.

Fiery Lioness Meets Cool Lion

This is still ongoing however I am nominating it for Social Thread because it doesn't become a Combat thread until towards the end of page 2 and onwards and all of the social is within this season. These two characters have unreal chemistry, I love their interactions and their dialogue against one another as they chat away. Their internal dialogue and social interactions are popping off like a sweet foreplay until they pop the cherry of fighting but that's not what we're focusing on here.

In the words of our boy Tento. Ayo...she kinda' a baddie on the low..... And so is this thread. Nice work you two.

I'm nominating A Hot Day For Hot Heads.

Very cute thread that takes place in the past. I really get a further idea of Nao and Kyo's relationship from this exchange, and them interacting as siblings played off very naturally. Nao trying to explain marriage and girls to Kyo and him not entirely getting it was also kinda funny in a sweet wholesome way. I just like social threads of this nature, it's nice.
