As Mizu wondered what it means to be in dept to a man like Urahara she raised her arm and brushed her Shihakushō's sleeve against her sweat-dotted head, careful not to mess up her golden hair too much in the process. Even though she could claim a certain level of skill with Kidō, after using multiple high-level spells in succession she felt both physically and spiritually drained. Mizu wasn't the type to give up easily, but she was glad her last spell had worked well enough to complete her session with Urahara.
The sudden sound of Urahara's machinery caused Mizu to jump a bit. She wasn't sure what she expected from a mind as great as Urahara Kisuke's, but a plain disc popping out of a toaster was not within the realm of her imagination. Still, she readily and appreciatively accepted the device from him before bowing again. "Thank you again, Captain Urahara-sama. I will not waste this gift you have given me!" Another Shinigami may have their doubts after holding the plain plastic disc in their hands, but Mizu had total trust in Urahara. This must be what she was looking for.

"I would certainly hope not! But it would be best if you spared some thanks for yourself, it was born of your hard work after all. Oh, and do be careful not to lose it. It really is quite unique."
There was a particular turn in Kisuke's mood that flashed just a little intensity behind that cheery smile, the slightest of peaks behind his mask. Of course, he most definitely didn't want word getting out that he was making such devices for whoever asked for them. That would defeat the whole purpose, and also submerge him in work for people that certainly did not need anywhere near as much of his time as he would have to give them. Still, he had faith in Mizu. She certainly seemed like the type that would take his words to heart and grow from this experience in a positive manner.
"Now, how about we head back up top and grab you a bite to eat? You look like you could use something to cool off on."
As quick as it had come, the jovial Captain was back to his normal self and cast a wayward glance skyward - back toward his office. It had been an enjoyable experience, at least for Kisuke, and he had gained a little insight into the mentality of Mizu from the 8th Division.

"O-of course, Captain Urahara-sama." Mizu was taken off guard by the man's sudden intensity. If she had any doubt at all about the device, it was gone now. She would protect it with her life if need be, and she held it tightly to her chest as he voiced its uniqueness. She knew Urahara had an air of mystery about him, and this entire interaction had felt mysterious alright. But now Mizu had met one of her heroes, and without fainting at that, and received what she had come for. She couldn't help but be thankful for how the day turned out.
Urahara's quick change back to his affable self nearly gave Mizu whiplash but at least she was able to relax again. This was short lived as he asked her if she wanted to get some food to settle down after everything, causing her cheeks to suddenly turn tomato red. H-he wants to get lunch?! With me?! Despite everything that had gone on, it was the idea of getting a bite to eat that really freaked Mizu out. "S-s-sure, Captain U-urahara-san, if you r-really want to!" she barely got out as her knees and voice both shook like an earthquake was rocking the training area.
