RYOUKO AMOU
"Um..."
She looked at Mizu for a moment, she seemed so confident. She probably did know but she was feigning ignorance for some reason, there was no way that she'd answer with such confidence about being unable to do something and learn it so fast. Maybe she was some kind of genius shinigami like the ones that always went to the Third Division, it sucked that she wasn't a genius.
"Okay. I think there's some training videos somewhere."
Ryouko said while turning to take Mizu back to her little hidey hole of a workplace, a few steps before she paused and remembered that it was a fair bit less than tidy when she'd left it. Organised chaos if you will and she became quite self-conscious. How could she show that messy space to an officer of another division.
Crud.

MORIKAWA MIZU
Mizu nodded her head when her companion mentioned the possible training videos. She knew she had to do what she could to learn from this woman so she could make up for knocking her over. Even still, nothing came easy to Mizu and she knew it. It would require a great effort to understand and learn as quickly as she implied she could. Her experience with electronics was limited to pressing buttons on her Denreishinki. Growing up, her family never had any other kinds of electronics in their home. Hopefully they are really good training videos...
When Ryouko came to a halt Mizu stopped with her, this time a bit confused. They had barely left the spot where they ran into each other and were making progress at a snail's pace. Worried, Mizu inquired about the stop "Is something wrong, Amou-san?"

RYOUKO AMOU
"N-n-no! Let's go somewhere else, it's all dark and dusty in the third division barracks anyway. No one cleans or lets any sunlight in and there's weird looking people everywhere!"
She stammered out, throwing her division members under the bus to cover for herself. It actually wasn't dark and dusty, that was just the little empty storage room she'd turned into her private space but still! She could not take Mizu there no matter what. The freakshow looking division members would need to do some work by being super spooky and creepy looking.
"You can help me get groceries!"
Ryouko was really trying here, it had not crossed her mind to remember that she didn't exactly buy anything very impressive for her groceries. A lot of cheap instant food and snacks that added to her waistline however that was the best solution she came up with on the spot for now.

MORIKAWA MIZU
A look of shock crossed Mizu's face as her companion nervously detailed why they shouldn't do the thing they had just agreed to do. "W-weird looking people?!" She couldn't imagine describing members of the Eighth Division that way, though for the most part her squad was full of reasonably "normal" people. A smattering of conventional Shinigami, so to speak. Captain Ōtoribashi excluded. In comparison, even in the old Gotei Thirteen the Science division had a reputation for employing the strangest people Soul Society could produce. Mizu was confident everyone in the Third had their own unique skills and qualities they bring to the table, but she also didn't want to argue with Ryouko so she accepted the woman's change of plans.
"Um, alright Amou-san. I will help you shop! Do you know what you need to get, or should we peruse a marketplace?" At the very least Mizu was confident she did not need to pick anything up, so they could concentrate on getting what Ryouko has in mind.

RYOUKO AMOU
"Y-ye-yyeah, absolute weirdos. You don't want to deal with them. They're all creepy."
She asserted while leaning forward towards Mizu enough that it looked like her glasses could fall off her face at any moment. The bridge of the thick glasses looking dangerously close to falling off the girl's button nose but they never would since she stood back up properly and adjusted them.
Shopping now. Yeah, this way. Ryouko insisted while hastily heading towards the new direction of the local stores without even considering if Mizu would be behind her.
"We need... stuff."
Ryouko vaguely said, the knowledge dawning on her that she meant to say her not very healthy diet and feel like she was just asking for Mizu to call out her figure. No no that wouldn't do!

MORIKAWA MIZU
To Mizu, the Gotei United was full of wondrous people from all walks of life in Soul Society, all of whom were unique in their ways. To be told an entire Division is full of people with not just supposedly-strange appearances, but also creepy personalities was a shock to her. Soul Society really is a big place...I'm sure Amou-san has good reason for saying these things thought Mizu silently to herself.
Mizu stared at the tip of Ryouko's nose as she stood in suspense, fearing the woman's glasses were about to tumble off, to the point of nearly going cross-eyed until finally she stood back up and gave a highly specific list for shopping. Or not. Mizu quickly chased after the departed Ryouko and asked her for a more concrete plan when she caught up "Um, no offense meant Amou-san but it would help me greatly if I knew what we're shopping for...though if you know, I could just follow along. Whatever works best for you!" she said with a cheery smile.
