Giving him a reassuring kiss on the cheek, Murasaki pulled away just enough to look Alastor square in the eyes, her expression cheery but not saccharine. He was a sweetheart, and that was one of the things she loved most about him.

"Oh ya can, huh? Well I could go for somethin' to eat, if you're offering. I've been pretty busy, so I wouldn't mind a nice quiet lunch with my handsome boyfriend."

She leaned in for another kiss, this time right square on the lips, but it was short and sweet. She did actually wanna eat, after all.
