Seaside Fight Night

The Gotei United and the Vandenreich, in the wake of Ichigo Kurosaki's unexpected reappearance, have been forced to cooperate despite their extreme differences in philosophy and aims. Naturally, this has led to a situation that breeds both mistrust and a distinct lack of familiarity with each other's capabilities, two certain ways to prevent ideal cooperation. Some might say that diplomatic channels are in order to rectify this.

The Gotei United's Seventh Division, however, is not led by diplomatic women. Vice Captain Shishiyuki Koizumi has formally announced an exhibition series, to give the Vandenreich and Gotei the ability to properly face each other in a controlled environment and test each other's mettle.


Due to the nature of this exhibition series as an operation between the Gotei United and the Vandenreich, matches will ideally be held between members of those two organizations. Exceptions may be made for affiliates who are not technically members, but this will need to be approved on a case by case basis.

While anyone of any power level is welcome to join, it should be noted that there are only so many members of any given power level in each organization. Matches will be organized based primarily on which characters are evenly matched, to keep from being overly one-sided. However, if two players would specifically like to request a bout between their characters for this exhibition series, that is entirely acceptable.


"Event" is, frankly, a stretch. This is simply an ongoing framing device to allow for stereotypical "anime tournament"-style matches, held in an arena and with spectators to show off to. Because of this, there are rules to bear in mind throughout the matches:

1. Anyone who leaves the boundaries of the ring is disqualified.
2. Injuring or involving spectators in the match is grounds for immediate disqualification.
3. Killing blows are strictly forbidden.

These rules are enforced by Binding Contract with Albedochiffren Director Ninsianna Kishar. Any who join an exhibition will immediately be knocked unconscious if they break one of these rules.
