School Tripping (Hiroi/Kimitsuki)

Shino Academy? With a tilt of her head, Hiroi found herself oddly curious about this Academy that Kimitsuki had become affiliated with all of a sudden. Again, that redhead is off making decisions that left the hungry Danava all perplexed. It was only a matter of time before Hiroi escaped from her confines, whether physical or vocally ordered, and made her way to the school to sate her hungering thoughts. It was only a matter of time before she found herself in trouble, her only saving grace being that it was just some mishap with some other students.

Honestly, what was supposed to happen after she was seen sneaking around and approached. The small Danava could only think about escaping, and that simply grew into a whole chase scene that ended up causing a little trouble, involving papers everywhere and a few bruised staff. Luckily for Hiroi, though, she proved tiny enough to get from the area in time and hide out in an emptier area of the Academy. She could just head home and pretend none of this happened, but she's a bit lost now, and aimless wandering would just get her caught up in the same situation. Maybe she'll just wait it out until this place shuts down or something.

A teacher… Kimitsuki was still coming to grips with that revelation. No matter how many lesson plans she had learned to make, classes she has planned, and all sorts of student problems she has to learn to deal with, it still didn’t sink in completely. However, she was still a teacher. She taught well despite her lack of teaching experience; realizing she had some aptitude for imparting her knowledge to others. Even if one of her constant students was Hiroe, who Kimi was starting to wonder about her full intentions, Kimitsuki still felt like she was making a difference. However, during one of her extended break periods between between her classes, the Danava sensed an extremely familiar presence; one who was without a guide.

Kimitsuki felt a little bad, given Hiroi had to often spend the day alone once more; so the Danava set off, her white jacket and red hair billowing a bit with her swift movement. Eventually, the Danava found Hiroi wandering through the halls of Shino’o, her height, hair, and attire sticking out quite like Kimitsuki did. With easy movements, Kimitsuki had swept Hiroi up into her arms; carrying the smaller Danava like a Princess. After giving Hiroi a small grin, Kimitsuki zipped off to her office, locking the door with a flick. Moving over to the couch, Kimitsuki sat down and carefully placed Hiroi next to her; likely letting Hiroi lay down and place her head on Kimi’s soft thighs if she so wished.

“It’s good to see you, Hiroi~ Would you like a tour of the academy~? Or perhaps am I to be graced by your brilliant presence based on luck alone? Either way, I’m glad to see you. Maybe I should bring you to work more often, huh? I don’t want you getting in trouble after all.”

Kimitsuki gently moved a few of Hiroi’s locks of hair out of her face; humming gently as she looked at the smaller Danava. Kimitsuki had a few ideas why Hiroi was here, the most likely being Hiroi was lonely and ditched her escort to find Kimi. Regardless, the Danava was positively delighted to see Hiroi. After all, the smaller Danava was very near and dear to Kimi’s heart.

Hmm? Well, being plucked from her spot like a dropped item wasn't exactly on Hiroi's to do list. If anything, she felt the eerie desire to cause harm to whoever had ambushed her as such. It could have been a student, a teacher, maybe even security. Does a place like this even have security when everyone normally carries around a weapon? Hiroi doesn't know while squirming against her capturer, and she's second away from actually using her powers to get free before she heard that familiar voice. In her panic, she didn't really try to sense who had neared her. She only understood the animal instinct of escape, but with that voice now in her head, her whole body simply calmed itself, her form limp in the redhead's hold.

At least she doesn't have to worry about being bothered any longer. That doesn't change the fact that she's unsure of what to do next with herself. Being with Kimitsuki is an okay circumstance, but the idea of touring this place more left a sour taste in her mouth. As impartial as ever, the smaller Danava simply plopped herself down onto Kimitsuki's lap, her head facing upwards as she stared at the ceiling.

"This place sucks, Kimitsuki. The people are unbearable, like the escorts."

It was a little disheartening for Kimi to hear that Hiroi didn't like Shino'o academy. True, many of the people probably didn't regard Hiroi the way she thought she should deserve; and she was clearly unhappy with everything if not for Kimi being around. The Danava couldn't help but feel bad as she carefully ran her fingers through Hiroi's raven-black hair, quietly considering her options. She couldn't cancel her final class... then again, emergencies could happen every now and then, she would just have to make it up to the students tomorrow with an extra lesson if they so desired it. So, with that, Kimitsuki bent over and gently pecked Hiroi on the forehead.

"Well, if you would like, you could just come with me every day, hm? Better than staying stuck at home bored, I would think. But, for now, is there anywhere you would like to go instead? If you hate it here, and a tour is positively out of the question I am sure, then why not go somewhere else? I'm sure there's someplace we can explore that you would like to see."

Kimitsuki continued to play with Hiroi's hair, eventually taking to braiding a few strands on the right side of the smaller Danava's head. As Kimitsuki waited for her response, her guilt only continued to grow as she thought of how much she had done without Hiroi; leaving her at home instead of bringing her with her. In that moment, Kimitsuki finished braiding Hiroi's hair, which looked rather nice despite it only being on the right side of her head, and then she slowly picked Hiroi up and gave the Danava a rather intense hug; burying her face into Hiroi's neck and hair a bit. Even Hiroi could likely feel Kimi's guilt.

"I should be keeping you with me more often, huh? Who better to keep track of you than I? After all, I have missed your presence when I'm at work. It may not fix everything, but would you like to accompany me sometimes; wherever I go? Of course, it is your choice, dear Hiroi."

Afterwards, the Danava slowly released Hiroi, leaving Hiroi now sitting on her lap instead of having her head on the woman's lap and body on the couch. Frankly speaking, Hiroi may like the Kimi-seat better. However, the Danava did give Hiroi a small grin after a few moments.

"We can still go explore somewhere else for now, however. I can cancel my last class and make it up tomorrow. But I can't do this all the time, Hiroi. What do you say, shall we~?"

Kimitsuki will be Kimitsuki. Hiroi knows enough about the redhead. This is just another one of Kimitsuki's fault as a character. The fiery Danava's ease at putting aside her own schedule for others will never be something the hungering Danava will understand. Maybe it's the nauseating part of her existence that leaves her greedy and destructive that makes the concept of hospitality difficult to grasp. Though, she is capable of such. It just never feels right.

Frankly speaking, Hiroi felt more like a doll than an actual creature as it stood. Kimitsuki always does this sort of pampering that Hiroi would normally eat up. However, she isn't in a state that allows for such eager emotions, and it is best that Hiroi keeps from entering her feral state when Kimitsuki does this sort of stuff.

"Kimitsuki. Hiroi is okay. Teach your class. I will watch."

Despite not caring for the place after being chased around, Hiroi is still interested to know what occurs here, and it may prove entertaining to see how Kimitsuki acts around these Shinigami. Now it is Hiroi's turn to be a bit physical as she went to pet the other on the head, an act that is usually shared upon the two in reverse. Also, at the same time Hiroi freed herself from Kimitsuki's grasp, taking to merely standing on the couch so that she's taller.

"Let's go."

Frankly speaking, the reason Kimi often was willing to throw aside certain schedules would be because of who she was doing it for. For example, she feels that her duty is first to her loved ones, which would be Abalia, the woman's children, and Hiroi. Second, her duty would be to her job afterwards. It's simply the way the Danava had learned of life and the importance to her loved ones. Not to mention, even if Abalia didn't technically need a guard anymore, or at least not as much, Kimitsuki was also the woman's first and foremost method of protection; and Kimitsuki would always keep Abalia's safety and happiness at the top of her priority list; as long as it didn't ruin any lives in the process. Simply speaking, Kimitsuki was playing the long game of trying to please as many people as she could.

This was why Kimi was a tiny bit surprised when Hiroi said that Kimitsuki could teach her class instead of skipping it. Kimitsuki gave a tiny shrug, giving Hiroi a gentle pat on the head in return for the one Hiroi had given her; that headpat from Hiroi being an honest oddity to the Danava. However, Kimitsuki was glad for it. After all, Hiroi's feral state would have done far more than just headpat Kimi. Frankly speaking, that state was a bit of a fright, only because of what she was suddenly capable of... *and how surprisingly attractive she became as well*.

Regardless, Kimitsuki gave Hiroi a warm smile, rising from the couch after Hiroi had released herself from Kimi's embrace; the Danava dusting off her clothing a tiny bit before she gestured for Hiroi to follow her. As long as Hiroi was with Kimi, none would bother her; and Hiroi would bother none as well. It was a bit of an unsaid expectation of the smaller Danava; only because Kimitsuki knew that Hiroi could get into trouble a bit too easily if left to her own devices. However, Kimitsuki also did trust Hiroi to learn what was right and what wasn't; as Kimi was determined to make Hiroi a model citizen so she needn't be followed like a delinquent child.

Eventually, they had arrived at the special classroom that Kimi used for fire instruction. It was used by other specialized forms of teaching that could be potentially destructive to the academy. Luckily, all the teachers had swift reactions to keep the students from harming each other too much, if at all. After about five minutes of waiting, where Hiroi likely took up her seat at what was the "teacher's desk" and Kimi stood in front of it, her class had started. During that time, Hiroi had heard Kimitsuki speak of fire like she had never before. Not only how it was a living force, but also one of great destruction, but great creation. Forest fires created the nourishment needed for new, young plants. Fire also tended to clean an environment. Not to mention how she described how fire was such a force to be respected and taken with care. She had even used a few examples with her own fire, showing the class how easy it was to let fire run out of control if not respected. And, it wasn't in the terms of respecting it's destruction, it was like respecting a great beast for its power; humble and calm. After a small demonstration of what could be done with fire, answering a few questions on how one must respect fire as if it was a person or a great beast; respected not for what it can do, but what for it is. After about an hour, a bell sounded and Kimitsuki gave out a bit of homework; a simple meditation for the class to think on and write down what fire meant to them. After that, Kimitsuki turned to Hiroi, giving the girl a small smile. Luckily for Hiroi, that was her last class of the day.

"So, Hiroi, where would you like to go now that I'm free? And we shouldn't stay out for too long, I still have to finish up my lesson plans for the week. But, as free as I am, I would like to take you somewhere nice so you don't have to feel so resentful of this place. How's that sound?"

Hiroi has never been in a classroom, for obvious reasons. She's a creature that has learned from gathering said knowledge herself, whether that be from seeking it out from another or by experience. It would prove a beneficial experience for the Danava, one that shouldn't leave a sour taste in her mouth. Kimitsuki is the teacher after all.

However, Hiroi did not quite understand the depth of this student thing. She found herself antsy the whole time. Despite listening intently to Kimitsuki, she found the subject on fire somewhat uncomfortable, probably bought about by her own animal instincts. The idea of having to be near the element in any manner for too long left her feeling somewhat helpless, ironically. Though, she did enjoy how much fun Kimitsuki seemed to be having. If anything, the redhead is passionate about her fire. Hiroi just learned that she's not the sit in class and focus on someone's words type of creature.

That's why she was glad when it ended and went up to Kimitsuki with a mute expression saying, "That was interesting, but private lessons are better."

Now, that could be taken in a number of ways, but Hiroi simply enjoyed learning things when it's just the two of them, and they're just out and about or trying something new. Hiroi could do with some adventuring, but she doesn't want to be a bother for Kimitsuki. She understands the need to complete one's work.

"Let's get something to eat and head home so Kimitsuki can work."

Frankly speaking, Kimi had a vague idea that Hiroi wouldn’t be too fond of classrooms. At least not how they were now. Most early classes involved preparation and theory. After a bit of time, they would certainly move on towards practical lessons. However, the Danava was right in her suspicions that Hiroi wouldn’t much like this sitting around. She was squirming despite her clear attention to Kimi’s words. Even if Hiroi understood every bit, and may have some natural aversions to fire despite the woman she cared for so basically being fire, it was all too evident that she cared not for school. However, Hiroi’s first comment made the Danava laugh. Whether Hiroi’s intent was far more salacious than intended or not, Kimitsuki understood her meaning. Whenever Kimi has taught Hiroi something, just the two of them, Hiroi always quite enjoyed the lessons; at least for how the Danava enjoys things.

“I’m sure they would be much better for you, Hiroi. Not much sitting around and lecturing. Sadly, we haven’t reached practical lessons yet.”

Kimitsuki picked up a few things from her desk, straightened out her jacket, and then smiled at Hiroi fondly. She gestured her head to the door, smiling a tiny bit at the smaller Danava.

“C’mon then, hun. We’ll pick up something from the store on the way.”

After waiting a moment to make sure Hiroi was following, Kimitsuki led them out of the academy. Kimi always garnered stray gazes, which gave Hiroi the chance to avoid said gazes, however, the Danava simply ignored them and led them outside the academy, swiftly through streets, and then to a local store. Here they could purchase a few things to get for dinner and Kimi could whip up some food for them; and she knew Hiroi would be fine with helping. After a bit of walking around the store, with Kimi picking up a few drinks and snacks, Kimitsuki tilted her head a tiny bit at Hiroi.

“Anything you want in specific, Hiroi? Could always get a small roast or some steak. Maybe I can try my hand at making some Japanese cuisine again; my knife work has gotten better~ What do ya think, Hiroi?”

Hiroi nodded, not feeling the need to get into anymore school talk as they left for home. Looks were thrown their way, of course. It is Kimitsuki after all. Most are probably concerned about the new hot redhead who's teaching about fire. Hiroi doesn't get the fascination with one's looks, but that's just her childish mind at work. Guess her more grownup self sees Kimitsuki in a similar fashion as everyone else. Though, maybe that's just her stomach talking. The meatier the better a predator would say. Regardless of the nuisances around them, they still made it to a store, and Hiroi found herself pondering.

"Candy."

Kimitsuki should have seen that coming. Being a being capable of eating anything, Hiroi would always prioritize what tasted the best, and the artificial sugar in most snacks proved strangely otherworldly to her. Nothing could compare, outside of cooking packed with eons of flavor. Hiroi shouldn't make Kimitsuki cook when the other Danava still has work.

Frankly speaking, Kimitsuki really should have guessed it. Of course Hiroi would want some candy, it was her favorite meal. She could only let out a soft chuckle before Kimitsuki went to the candy aisle with Hiroi, picking out a few large bags of assorted candy.

"Should've guessed that one, honestly~ Lemme just grab a few more things... Kinda want to have Shabu-Shabu... I think that's what it's called."

Hiroi only had to deal with a bit more of Kimitsuki walking around the store. She picked up a bit of thinly sliced raw beef, various vegetables, some raw fish, crab, scallops, and a whole kitten-caboodle of items that she could put into what was essentially going to be hot pot. After a brief period of time, Kimitsuki had guided them both to the front of the store, where the Danava paid for the groceries for dinner. It was swiftly packed into a cold bag Kimi had brought with her, for the sake of the raw, and fresh, ingredients, and then the Danava guided them back home; to the Kyoraku estate.

It likely took a fraction of time before Kimitsuki and Hiroi were returned to their rather expansive living area in the estate. It wasn't immense, but Kimitsuki was happy with it; even if the most time she had spent in here recently was making lesson plans. Otherwise, Kimi spends a lot of her time outside with Abalia and her children, or even with Hiroi if she's willing. However, currently, the Danava was going to make them a meal; and a great meal at that. One Kimitsuki would likely use as a precursor to having it with Abalia and her children, if time allowed of course. She hummed softly, getting the ingredients, and the actual hot-pot, ready. Eventually, the Danava gave Hiroi a warm smile, placing the candy bags out onto the table just for her. There, she could open them and savage, pick, and plunder the candy to her delight. In the meantime, Kimitsuki had started the process of preparing dinner; actual dinner.

"This won't take long at all, okay Hiroi? But feel free to absolutely destroy those candy bags in the meantime."
