Old Friend, How've You Been? [Private: Arianda/Hono]

Was it a challenge to get Hono to kiss Ari? Not on purpose. And, frankly speaking, when Hono went in for the kiss, Arianda was briefly surprised before she very easily put her hand on the back of Hono's head and deepened the kiss a moment longer than Hono had intended before she calmly withdrew, licking her lips casually before she carefully wiped her lips with a napkin, giving Hono a small smile afterwards.

"I think... I want to enjoy more of those after we have a little fun spar~ Sound good~? Also I still have no idea why that burger has peanut butter on it..."

The demon could only shrug some before she returned to her own food as well, humming pleasantly as she truly did enjoy her pizza. Of course, the meal was paid for, their food was gone, and Arianda smiled some as she stood up from her chair, walking over to Hono's side and smiling warmly. She offered a hand to the woman, smiling still as she looked Hono in the eye.

"Shall we, Hono~? Conveniently enough, my home is rather isolated, so we can have our spar there if you want~"

After Hono agreed and took Ari's hand, the demon would guide them both through a small portal; one that let them out on about the other side of the world, in California on top of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in the US. She smiled, showing Hono the outside of her house, which looked a quant little cabin, and there was more than ample space for them to have a spar before they enjoyed Ari's requested after activity. However, that was only if Hono approved of course~!

"What do ya think~? We can take a look on the inside after our spar if you still want to spar, hun~"

The demon couldn't help but giggle softly, getting a bit closer to Hono and smiling warmly. Whatever else Ari was doing, aside from teasing, she was clearly enjoying herself in a way she hadn't in a while. Not to mention, those odd feelings were nothing much, most likely... just some uncertainty with how Ari had kissed her. After all, Arianda wanted more... more practice, one could say~!

"Thanks, Hono~! It was a gift from someone close... and I just wanted to make sure~ Can never be too certain~!"

A swift peck was all that followed Arianda's words before the demon leapt away from Hono in a flourish; her cloak flapping about as the demon casually drew a pair of scissors from her pocket, which soon expanded and changed to be quite as long as Arianda was tall. However, the demon hummed quietly as she silently dulled the edge and points of the scissors without telling Hono. She'd gladly bruise Hono up a little bit, it was a spar after all. But, she wasn't going to cut Hono up! That would be far too mean... Well, probably. The demon smiled and spun her scissors around, impaling the blade into the dirt with a grin. Perhaps... she would use these after gauging Hono's ability a bit. They had never fought, after all, and energy was never an indication of honest power.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure this is a good training session so our after activities are well worth the wait. Let's see what you can do first, okay~? Well, if you're ready then...Cmon, Hono~! Let's have us some real fun~"

With only waiting for confirmation that Hono was ready to begin their little spar, Arianda left her scissors impaled in the ground and rushed Hono with a flurry of attacks; which were purposefully quite slow. Their intent was to gauge Hono's reaction times, strength, and overall speed. This was a spar, after all, not a fight to the death. Arianda would judge, understand, and try to find flaws in Hono's technique; her entire intention focused on improving Hono's fighting style bit by bit. At least, that was her intention. What happened after their spar was icing on the cake... especially considering Arianda hadn't really planned on doing more than hanging out with a friend; but the best laid plans of mice and men and all that~

Frankly speaking, this was likely a bit of an unfair spar. However, this was not for Ari's benefit, it was for Hono's; with the intent to help the girl with her technique and strength. Which was why Arianda was more sticking to testing her instead of beating her into the ground. She carefully gauged the power of her attacks, intending to leave only bruises at most; nothing more painful or serious. Not to mention, she always aimed for areas that, when bruised, would not pose immense problems to her health; like extremities and the like. However, once Hono's counter attacks came, Arianda judged them and used a flowing series of moves to block each one; frankly it was almost like the demon was dancing with how gracefully she had moved.

Afterwards, Arianda jumped up and away from Hono's leg sweep, landing lightly. Then, in a sudden burst of speed, the demon had closed the distance between them and feinted for Hono's face; instead aiming for a quick jab to the stomach that was intended to briefly stun Hono. Of course, both strikes were in speeds that Hono could interpret, albeit they may be approaching the cap of her capabilities. She had to work hard if she wanted to keep an even pace with the demon, even if Arianda was pulling her punches a great deal.

Whether or not Arianda was successful with her feint, the demon would deal an additional flurry of blows that was once more intended to gauge Hono at the edge of her capabilities; figure out where she needed to improve. However, if Hono had begun to flag under Arianda's intense strikes, the demon would deliver a sharp blow to her left shoulder, weak despite it's speed but intended to throw her off long enough for Ari to leap back some and smile at Hono warmly; showing a profound lack of exertion, even if some sweat had started to bead upon her temples.

"You know how to handle yourself quite well, Hono~ Just tell me if there is anything you would like to practice. And, feel free to use your blade if you wish~ I don't mind fighting without a blade~"

The demon wasn't acting cocky, or even taunting. It was a simple statement. One didn't have to fight another with a blade with another blade... and Ari could technically cheat by using her possessive shifting to harden the skin on her arms to something similar to a very strong carbon shield; albeit it was nowhere near as strong as it could possibly be. If Hono could hit real hard, she could break it... but, that wasn't much of a worry. Arianda could heal just about anything Hono did to her.

"Let's fight until we're sweaty and tired, Hono~"

Arianda couldn't help but soften her blows for Hono, she didn't want to harm the woman overmuch... Give her a few bruises? Maybe~ However, Arianda couldn't help but grin as Hono drew her Zanpakuto without a care. Arianda grinned widely at her proclamation, and was glad the woman wasn't afraid of harming Arianda. Of course, given it was a blade, if Arianda was too careless, Hono would obviously draw blood... However, Arianda was able to keep everything vital safe with ease; and losing an arm wasn't an issue. After all, Zanpakuto, and Katana in general, were quite excellent at severing body parts.

Arianda couldn't help but grin as she stood before Hono, waiting for the attack; and it was a clever trick. A feint that was intended for her to cover her left side before Hono switched to the right side in a show of her swordsmanship. Arianda couldn't help but smile a tiny bit as she witnessed the feint. It was a good trick, and Arianda didn't want Hono to feel completely unrewarded for it. So, with only a small twitch of her arm, she let Hono nick her forearm. However, Arianda slightly misjudged the force of the strike, causing the twitch of her arm to be inadequate to prevent the entire damage.

Her fingers swiftly tightened from the pain that shot through her arm before they hung limp; the demon reflexively hardening the bone in her arm to be equal hardness of the Zanpakuto that struck her. The demon couldn't help but chuckle a tiny bit, rubbing the back of her head with her undamaged hand and arm; chuckling as her left hand briefly hung uselessly. The gash was deep, severed the demon's tendons, and left a tiny scratch on the bones of her forearm. However, the demon simply wrenched her wrist in a sudden movement and her flesh knitted together with speed; Arianda flexing her fingers and shaking her arm gently before she grinned at Hono. All bleeding had stopped, even if her arm was still covered in her crimson essence; but even that seemed to be disappearing swiftly too.

"Good shit, hun~ You've got quite the arm, that's for sure. But, I'll keep to my word; no weapons on my end~ And if I knock you out, I promise to give you a loving treatment~"

Arianda rolled her neck, winking playfully at Hono before she flew at the woman, her left hand shifting to a hard material; quite like an odd second skin that would briefly allow her to grab Hono's blade, shove it aside, and plant a punch to the woman's gut again. Once more, a pulled punch that showed the demon's own speed. However, the closeness gave Hono opportunities to resist. Especially when Arianda shoved Hono's blade to the side, fully letting go of it now, as she transitioned into a roundhouse kick aimed straight for Hono's face; one she could easily counter if need be. If struck, the force alone could be enough to knock Hono right onto her ass. If this happened, Arianda would mount the girl's stomach, pin her arms down, and grin at the woman. If not? Well, Arianda was more than glad to be thwarted and played with more. After all, they still needed to get sweaty; and what fun was there in an easy fight~?

Indeed, it was likely very unnerving to see Ari's hand and part of her forearm almost cut off. However, it was Arianda's own fault, and the demon reassured Hono of that with a warm smile; and a pat to her chest before resuming their little contest. Frankly speaking, it was good Hono wasn't able to wholly cut off Ari's arm and hand, that would've proved a bit more... unnerving. However, soon came their groundward grapple, each scrabbling for the top. Eventually, of course, Arianda would get a good look at Hono from her position above and feel a tiny bit guilty about the damage done to her face.

Arianda definitely felt bad about the red mark on Hono's face from her foot, frankly speaking, that bit of distraction where Arianda used a silent spell to mend the mar to her cheek was just about all it took for Hono to gain the top. With them rolled over, Ari's legs now around Hono's waist due to how Ari had mounted the woman upon her stomach; and Hono above the demon. She gave a warm grin, fully encouraging Hono to attack however she pleased; but that wouldn't mean that Ari didn't fight back.

She resisted by using her grip around Hono's waist to push her away during strikes, twitch her head back and forth, and entirely do her best to avoid Hono's attacks. After a good string where Ari likely did get hit a few more times, the demon unlocked her legs from around Hono's waist and pushed the woman away swiftly, doing a beautifully executed backroll. Afterwards, the demon came up standing, pulling a pair of scissors out of her pocket. She smiled at Hono, spinning the weapon until she held a ridiculously large pair of scissors. However, their form didn't remain. She turned the pair of scissors into a longsword, flourishing it before she settled into a ready stance, feet wide, blade held so it pointed towards Hono, the flat of her blade above her left arm.

"Let's even it out, hun, blade on blade~ Give me your all~"
