Who's that Zanpaku'to? [Igen]

» Zanpakutô Name: 虎王族 Koōzoku (Tribe of the Tiger King)

» Zanpakutô Spirit Appearance: Igen has yet to actually see his Zanpaku'to spirit, as it remains completely hidden in the forest of his Inner world.

» Inner World: Igen's inner world spans an enormous Mountain Range with bright vibrant valleys and peaks which reach to tremendous heights. However, unlike normal mountains, a forest grows all the way to the tops, shrouding the towering giants themselves in greenery.

» Zanpakutô Appearance: In it's Sealed form, Koōzoku takes the form of a Guandao about 2 meters in length, the blade itself with a length of 55cm. The bladed section is surved with wave-like teeth along the blunt end of the weapon, which have sharp points.

» Sealed Zanpakutô Power:

Shinko 寝虎 (Sleeping Tiger)
When not in use, Igens zanpaku'to is able to enter a sort of spiritual form, breaking down into small pieces which cling to Igen. These small pieces tend to hide in the folds of his outfit making them hard to spot. This ability can't be used in combat, other than reforming the weapon. Igen is incapable of freely breaking down and reforming his Zanpaku'to during combat. This does however make his Zanpaku'to particularly easy to fix given it's penchant for simply putting itself back together. This ability to easily repair only applies to it's sealed state, damage taken during Shikai and Bankai are not healed so easily.



» Shikai Release Phrase: Pay your respects.

» Shikai Release Action: Igen needs only say the name of his Zanpaku'to for it to enter it's released form.

» Shikai Appearance: On release, if it isn't already, Igen's Zanpaku'to breaks down into pieces which then form a fully living, breathing Tiger. With bright orange and black stripes and a white underbelly one comes to expect from such a creature. Koōzoku is about 4 meters from snout to tail and about 1.2 meters tall.

» Shikai Abilities:

King's Guard:
Koōzoku takes the form of a living creature when released. This Tiger is able to fight in tandem with Igen and has it's own fighting Capabilities. In adition to basic Physical skills the Tiger also has access to Hoho and Hakuda. All of these skills scale off of Igen's Zanjutusu -1.
When Koōzoku takes lethal damage while in Shikai, it ends the Release for the rest of the thread as the Zanpaku'to takes time to recover spiritually.

Silent Killer:
During Shikai, Koōzoku does not release and explosive expenditure of Reiryoku and Igen's spiritual pressure barely changes at all. Individuals with at least Advanced focus or Mental Deduction will be able to sense the change, but to most individuals, they likely won't even realize he is in Shikai unless they see it directly.
