Psychological Analysis
Vivyan is a young woman who possesses a lively, free spirit. She is a person who presents with high energy and overall loudness, being easy to excite and interest with her strong sense of curiosity. She has a latent need to grab attention, and thus often times does things in very attention-grabbing ways, be it calling to her own presence when entering somewhere, or even directly going out of her way to directly interact with others. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind and often does so with little shame or filter, something that has gotten her in trouble quite a bit in the past.
Even if she may seem pushy and have too much of a head on her shoulders, at heart Vivyan has good intentions behind her actions. She never does anything out of malice or contempt for others, more or less wearing her heart on her sleeve. If she’s ever mad or annoyed with anyone, they’re going to know in that instant, she is not one to ruminate or mull over how she feels about someone, she’s just going to spit it in their face given the right moment. Given that, she also is very outgoing and obvious if she wants to form a relationship with someone, even being as direct as, ‘Hey, you wanna go hang out with me?’. Vivyan is a kind, supportive person to others, and tries to be reasonably accommodating to others. In times where she has perhaps pushed it too far, the moment she realizes she’s done something wrong or upsetting to someone, she will try her best to make up for it, even if it were a total stranger.
Despite those in her life trying to chip her down and make her give up on her dreams, Vivyan is ridiculously stubborn and determined when it comes to achieving what she wants. Even if she is beaten down and ground into the dirt, she is going to get back up, keep going at it, and continue being that problem to that person who wants to stop her. She had been underestimated her entire life, and for her to simply lie down and take, to her, is an admittance that her family was right to do that to her, and she cannot stand that idea.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Born and raised in France, Vivyan lived a relatively normal life with her rather large family. The Fayes were a relatively well-off family living in the rural hills. They were actually a family of pure-blood quincies, being quite intent on keeping their line this way down to making arranged marriages. They were quincies who were very focused on how many of them there were, typically having a great many children once they found a compatible partner.
This fixation on growth and populating the world with what they deemed to be the “superior” family supposedly spawned from some great tragedy that occurred in their family a long, long time ago. There was some degree of hidden shame tied around this supposed tragedy that nearly wiped them out, but it wasn’t a story any remembered or could tell. From all that Vivyan could tell, her father was excessively paranoid of keeping all of them in one place, and for them to appear like normal citizens to any other, as if afraid of some possibility of them being “found” by the wrong person.
Vivyan was a child who ended up square in the middle of this practice, being one of the practically invisible middle children of her parents. This of course, influenced her to want to be seen.
She chalked up to be a bit of a problem child in an attempt to get her parent’s attention and recognition, growing a rather loud and pushy personality compared to her comparatively quieter siblings. Of course, this led to her getting in trouble or punished more often than not, but it didn’t do much to deter her. Even if she could be reckless and a bit insensitive at times, she still presented plenty of love to her siblings, even as a young child. Often times expressed by her looking after them, taking care of them, and even using her role as the ‘problematic one’ to take the fall for her siblings if she felt it wasn’t a fair reaction, which it typically was.
However, what truly drew her attention was her older sibling’s activities, her parents being rather overly involved with them and their training and studies due to their potential as quincies appearing rather early on. She always begged her older siblings to show her how to do what they did, but she always seemed to have a lack of talent of even absorbing reishi. She didn’t care however, as she was simply fixated on the idea of being as talented as her siblings, thinking rather highly of them for their talent and ability.
Though one day, her father had an announcement for the whole family - he and her eldest siblings were off to Antarctica to ‘rejoin their people’, the Vandenreich. Of course, Vivyan begged to go with them, both not wanting to part with her siblings, and lose one of her only avenues of learning, however her pleading wasn’t apparently met, until late at night when they were setting off for their trip. Her eldest brother and sister had woken her up and brought her aside to give her a gift - a bracelet. Her sister stressed that it was a family heirloom, something her mother had given her as a good luck charm for their journey, but her sister decided to secretly gift it to Vivyan as she was perhaps one of the most passionate about learning.
Past that point, she didn’t really get to see her siblings much, apart from instant messaging and pictures sent. Hearing about them and their work as Sternritter only made a young Vivyan want to work even harder at developing her abilities, even if her power didn’t seem to want to budge at times, learning in secret as her mother began to see any and all trying as fruitless and overworking, that she had to focus more on simply being a fine and proper young lady for a husband one day.
However, years went by, and then came the war. Vivyan was pressed to a screen constantly, trying to keep track of the situation, wondering how her father and siblings were doing. They all had stopped responding to her messaging, something she could only assume to be because they were needed in action. She was worried, but also excited - she was only a young teenager at that point, and didn’t truly understand the cost of war. It wouldn’t be until her father returned home, with half the amount of siblings he had left with, those who did return not wishing to speak about what they experienced. If her father was cold and bitter about the situation of the Quincies before, he was malding and poisonous after what he saw as a true haven was struck down.
Vivyan mourned the loss of her older siblings, her eldest brother and a few others having gone completely missing, her eldest sister returned with scars of the body and mind. Vivyan tried to ask her for training, but it was as if she was a completely different person - telling Vivyan to just give up and not bother trying to be any more than what she was current, the teen not truly understanding the weight of the situation, becoming frustrated and distant from her, and given her father’s behavior, the rest of her family.
Her father only got worse down the line when he heard of what the Vandenreich - the Quincy had become - to him it was nothing but a cesspool of impurity and lost creatures now, blind to what drove them initially. Vivyan was often the one at the receiving end of these endless, angry rants, often triggered by her being caught practicing, or even outright saying she didn’t care what he thought, that she wanted to become a Sternritter. The wedge between her and her family only became greater and greater, until she managed to properly form a weapon. She was over the moon, and only took this development as a sign that she could make it. That she had to, she was worth it.
And with that, she decided to run away from home, and thus join the Vandenreich.
NATURAL ATTRIBUTES
Iceborne
The Fayes have a long bloodline possessing an ice-type spiritual nature, all of their reishi constructs formulating much like ice crystals, having a chill factor to them as well depending on how powerful the attack is. Her bloodline has shown much more promise in support and spellcraft rather than direct confrontation, this aspect far more apparent and versatile in spellcraft.
SPIRIT WEAPON
Name: Eisprinzessin (Ice Princess)
Appearance: The bracelet around Vivyan’s wrist glows, forming a glowing, snowflake-like ring around her arm. Fragments of ice branch out from and float in a halo-like formation around the ice-like formation.
Abilities
Freezing Aspect
Vivyan is able to imbue a limited amount of her attacks with a freezing aspect. If they manage to hit a target it will start freezing whatever they strike, the effectiveness of this freezing affect dependent on Vivyan's Spirit Weapon skill, and the quickness of the spread to the maximum area is dependent on Tier. Freezing can be instantly stopped with any full tier's power exceeding her's. Vivyan can only apply this effect 7 times to individual weapons or arrows in a given thread.
- Spoiler:
- Beginner: 5-10%
Adept: 10-15%
Advanced: 15-25%
Elite: 25-30%
*Takes 1 direct hit for the lesser percentage to take effect, and takes 3 for the full effect represented by the highest percentage
5-tier - 3 posts to freeze
4 & 3-tier - 2 posts to freeze
2-tier and above - 1 post to freeze
Ice Weapons
During her hard and dedicated training as a Sternritter, Vivyan has successfully pushed past her slow start and learned how to apply more versatility to her Quincy weapon. She is able to form one or two-handed icy weapons on the fly, ranging from swords to polearms to pretty much anything one can wield with their hands.
Projectiles
The arrows that Vivyan fires are much faster yet smaller than the typical quincy's projectiles, firing at 2x the speed with half the inflicted damage per arrow.

Spirit weapon:
In regards to the process of Freezing targets. How quickly does this occur? What can be done to stop it?
You will need actual scales as Spiritual Power and Weapon development (I assume you mean Tier and Spirit Weapon Skill?) to base the effects on. If so, then please just write out what effect these stats have on the freezing effect.
Projectiles:
How much is the cost to Size and power for these arrows?
Additionally, Quincy do not actually have any set “maximum number of arrows they can fire” in their specs. So “2x the usual amount” is nebulous. Would be more appropriate to say that they fire twice as fast.

Spirit Weapon:
-A little Vague as to what level of Physical force/Spiritual Heat. Can just any old punch to the spot break the ice regardless of strength? If you want this to scale off of anything you should express that.
Would like clarification on what “A portion of the body” entails. A percentage or fraction would be preferable. And finally, these durations for freezing need to be Dialed back at least for Elite. Instantaneous freezing of the whole body falls into unsteady realms especially given there is no limit to how many of these attacks she can produce and fire.
1 post should be the highest end of this ability in terms of freezing speed, at least if you plan on keeping ‘entire body’ as a level of severity.

[mod]After some consideration and some conversations with other staff, I've come to the conclusion that two things need to happen. First and foremost: These attacks should not be able to freeze more than 30% of a target's body per hit as the process is not only damaging but also binding with no real duration on how long the ice lasts. As is, the top Tier should cap at 30% of a target's body per hit.
Second: There needs to be a limit to this ability. Even with the above restrictions, Vee's ability to crank out VERY debilitating attacks en mass is incredibly high. As such, there needs to be some limit to how much this ability can be used. Whether that is a limited window of posts in which she can use it in a thread, or a limited number of objects she can produce with this capability (If its more than a one-shot arrow, it will need a duration if it has this effect).[/mod]

[mod] Solid work. My only notes are that this should be reduced to 5 uses, and that if she creates a weapon with this ability, it consumes 1 use every turn that it is being utilized beyond the first. Additionally you can remove the Ranges and Hit count for progressing freezing and change it to just flat percentage ammounts.[/mod]
