She listened as he proceeded to speak at more length to the legends revolving around the Quincy. So many stories. So many possibilities to be sure. She supposed not all tribes had the luxury of such record of when they had first baegan. And Librea herself thought back to when her village had been blessed so long ago. She wondered how long ago these quincy had been around for.

"And these are among the stories you adorn yourself with?" She ventured, gesturing toward the jewelry that Al'in wore, certainly it was a valid question. Surely the origin he was taught about his people would be among the ones that he would display, would it not? A very small smile, briefly, crossed her features. He was an odd fellow to be sure, but he was.....interesting. Perhaps one of the more interesting humans she had yet encountered. He had certainly much to say, but without that kniving deceptive voice that so many ....talkative humans owned. His was a gentle voice, and indeed she found herself wondering what his song might sound like. Such curiosity was only natural for her.

And ....then she suddenly straightened up. Those sensitive ears twitching atop her head as she .... suddenly wasn't looking at him, but was glancing around. "The noise...... something ...is off." She murmured suddenly, an instant before those sirens suddenly sounded. It was faint, on the beach, distance alone kept it from being deafening to the woman. But even from where they were, the sounds could be heard drifting from the city proper. The loud wailing alarms.... and the screams of alarm from the citizens as well. And instinctively, one of those hands promptly moved to gently grasp Al'in's shoulder, as Librea herself continued to search, eyes darting about in the direction of the city, clearly alarmed. "Al''in......what is that?" She asked, for it was a sound she had never heard akin to in the past. After all, she'd never been in Italy when a hollow had attacked a major city. And that presence in the distance...that felt soiled and heavy. That was the only familiar thing about it. The sensation of hollow.

Al'in mir Azizi | The Wasteland Prince

One instant Al'in was leaning back, about to snap a witty retort about the difference between Quincy and the Wasteland Nomads, and then suddenly he was standing to attention. The alarms had not even started to blare and suddenly he was looking high into the sky. It was fortunate perhaps that Librea was as sensually aware as he was, but it seemed equally unlikely that she was aware of quite what had just manifested.

"I don't know."

There was no lightheartedness to his voice now, nor was there an irritation, this was serious. Gone was the smile, replaced with a guarded stiffness. Then the sirens started to blare in earnest, and suddenly everything was chaos. He felt her hand land on his shoulder but did not shrug it off, instead, he stood there, listening.

"The city is under attack by a Hollow of incredible power. It would be best if I took you somewhere safe and brought our tour to an end."

His arm wrapped around her waist, a feat made possible by her decision to step closer to him, and then, with a heave, he was carrying the pair of them forwards on a Hirenkyaku. Sand kicked up from where it had been disturbed, but they were soon gone and the beach was left behind. Back on the streets, what had once been a slow-moving crowd was now a panicked swarm. People were pushing over and through each other to get further away from the eye of this storm. And then his hand slipped free and he stepped a little away.

"I apologise for transporting you so suddenly, but this is not a common occurrence."

The sudden burst of speed was a surprise, she wasn't used to moving that fast outside of her own power. And when they finally came to a stop, she winced from all of the noise. The shouting and screaming, and the rush of people around them. As well as the distant roar of Hollow reiryoku. She could tell that it wasn't an enemy she likely could fight. But the look in Al'in's eyes as he released her waist and pulled back.

Yes.

This was his song.

Not the song of his voice, but the song of his soul. Regardless of his mannerisms or airs, she recognized the look of a Warden. This was the home of his people, it was only natural that he get to work preserving it. She looked around at the crowds, and her own spirit of protection rose up within her. "There is nothing to forgive. Keep your home safe. I'll do my best to help." She assured him. An unspoken urge that he need not linger for her benefit.
